Although I didnt have a car there were several different bus routes all within walking distance, and is a short trip to the cbd via the freeway. Microwave in room and reception supplied plates, bowls and cutlery on request plus was kind enough to provide me with a toaster. Stayed for a month so was great. Also washing machine and dryer available with ample washng powder supplied. Loved the electric blanket too. Some noise from guests though thwy came and went and was a pleasa tly quiet stay for the most part. Minor points - spare blanket provided was not clean. In need of a deep clean in some areas like the shower and also the couch.

Matilda (10/5): - Located right next to the motorway, so many destinations in or around Melbourne are quickly reached, but at the same time not too noisy.
Shenae (4/5): Depends too heavily on the gardens looking nice - Close to public transport, upsides were the singular, apologetic staff member who changed our room to something a bit better (Maria is nice), and the garden, which we weren't next to but still was a nice view Rooms were either missing security or complete privacy (key latch or curtins alongside the blinds) or essentials unless you asked for them (like a toaster, no laundry hamper). Next to nothing about the processes we had to go through (inserting and add on to the key ring to turn on power, having to take the toaster between rooms because it was a "requested item" instead of a standard in the rooms). The first room we were put in was run down and nothing like advertised, granted they only show the renovated rooms and fancier suites. Stains on the roof, the jacuzzi tub looked like it hadn't been properly cleaned as it had browning on the bottom and looked like it hadn't been used from the 80's (probably for a good reason), the tub's pump had leaked into the cupboard under the sink, leaving mold and big, brown stains. Cracks in the walls, a disappointing view of a brick wall outside, the skirting boards were falling apart, there were webs on the light fixtures and it was under the stairs towards the back of the lodge... Like it had been forgotten about. Far from comfortable. The second room we were in had problems too, though far less noticeable and over all it was a bit more comfortable. The shower and aircon were constantly switching between hot and cold at random times. Mattress was firm, hurt my neck and shoulders for the four day stay, the place was clean though.

Tarun Thomas Kuruvilla (9/5): Lovely vintage lodge with excellent facilities. - We always stay at the Elizabethan lodge whenever we are in Melbourne. The rooms are comparitively bigger than other places and very affordable. The lodge is next to the Eastern highway which makes travel extremely easy if you are travelling by car. The room had a queen size bed and a sofa area which makes it much bigger than the standard room. The internet in the room provided was limited and very unreliable. It kept logging off. I think the location of the room made it in such a way that the room was away from the hub. The entrance to the lodge is also a little tricky as it is located immediately after a highway signal. But we love the place and will always book here.

JENNIFER (8/5): We were out and about from morning till evening so the rooms were perfect for us. Maria at reception was lovely and very - Great location, we had a group of 16 so our youth found the rooms comfortable. Noisey pipes when having a shower, you could even hear them when the guests in the next room were showering but other than that it was fine. Plenty of parking available also.

PAUL (10/5): Our Go To Motel In Melbourne - Our go to motel in Melbourne, loved it for 10 years plus and still do. The recent renovations are superb, such a great location, great staff and great rooms. The parking spaces are a little tight and some tree pruning is desperately needed.
Chak Ming (7/5): - The room is reasonably spacious and clean The double bed is a bit soft which causes a bit of sore back. Fortunately the single bed is firm enough to give me a good night sleep on my second night of stay. Two down lights are out of order.
Cuppa Tea (10/5): Lovely Gardens - Very helpful when we had a slight problem & nothing was too much trouble. Our room was beautifully cleaned every day with nice fresh towels, milk and biscuits. Nice and quiet at night with some really pretty garden lights. Having to go.home :/
Gunasakaran (10/5): - The staff were really friendly, the Indonesian cleaning lady and the Greek receptionist. They went all the their way out to make my stay excellent! Loved how close to westerfolds parks the inn was.. I love even more that it was so close to a bus stop that had a straight bus into the motorway to city! The room was clean, comfortable and the toilet was large and clean. Loved the toilet the most in the room! I even watched a movie each night and a great night stay for 2 nights! Thank you 😊 Nothing at all

Sara (10/5): Comfy and warm with everything you need for an excellent price! - Great room. Very clean. Staff were friendly and helpful and were happy to change my dates when i needed them too. House staff were professional and polite and even offered to help me with my luggage. A+ great value for money.
Thomas (6/5): Clean and comfortable, but other issues negated that advantage. - Very clean and modern. No one in reception after 4:30 PM. No illuminated sign in front of the motel if you were looking for it after dark, as we were. Very poor lighting in the motel, making it almost impossible to read a room number unless you were standing right in front of the door. Wi-Fi did not work. I had to go stand closer to the reception office in order to get on the Wi-Fi.

Amber (10/5): We were very impressed! - Everything we needed was available, including a tea towels and dishsoap to wash up the dishes. There is a washing machine and dryer that can be used, as well as free parking. It ticked the boxes of everything we were looking for, and the garden was very lovely too :) The TV could have been a bit bigger, and I wish I was able to cast from my laptop onto it, but that's just a small problem that barely had any baring on our stay

Paul (2/5): Never again - Staff, price. Booked weeks before Easter for a 5 night stay and was put into an interconnecting room next to a permanent resident and was kept up every night well into morning, whilst staff were good they couldn’t put me in another room. Why on earth I was put into the room in the first place only they can answer, tourists have a right to know if there are people staying there long term, not to mention room was located across from cleaner’s quarters and laundry very noisy.
