The staff were lovely, welcoming and attentive and very helpful when our luggage hadn't arrived. Our welcome cocktail was delicious! Breakfast was fabulous beautifully presented and the booked time meant the room felt relaxed and made it a more enjoyable experience. The only thing we weren't keen on was the open plan bathroom area in the room- we'd much rather have a bathroom with a door on it.

The presentation looked fancy but not really fresh high quality food. They did make omelets the first morning and scrambled eggs the 2nd morning for me, they are ok considering the price they charge and how much I pay in a very nice restaurant.

The breakfast was very large and very nice! Lots of sweet treats, with fruit and fresh juice too. The museum is small but worth the visit! The chocolate cocktail was very nice! Photos are very realistic! No door to separate the bathroom, which meant the fan/light combo was slightly more disruptive than it could have been, but not really an issue.

A possibilidade de visitar o museu também é um excelente complemento. Na verdade não houve nada que não gostasse... talvez o fato da casa de banho ser toda em pedra (bem bonita e enorme) cria uma amplitude térmica entre o quarto e a casa de banho

- Wolf (7/5): Schön, sauber und angemessen. - Schönes Hotel mit abwechslungsreichen Zimmern. Das ganze Hotel riecht nach Schokolade. Für Menschen mit Problemen mit Duftstoffen nicht geeignet. Liegt sehr gut und man kann alles zu Fuß sehr gut erreichen. Keine hoteleigenen Parkplätze aber an der Straße besteht die Möglichkeit sein Fahrzeug kostenlos abzustellen. Obwohl bestimmte Zeiten für das Frühstück festgelegt sind, wird es nach einen gewissen Zeit am Tisch serviert (kein Buffet) Auf Wunsch werden Spiegeleier gebracht.

O Escape Room é engraçado, mas é preciso trabalhar em equipa. 😄 Não foi não gostar, mas foi pena algumas atividades do museu não estarem a funcionar.

- MLFizzle (8/5): - We stayed just one night at this hotel and it was a comfortable stay. The hotel is connected to a chocolate factory, which is sort of cool, but we didn't go on the tour. The rooms are all named after some chocolate connection (ours was called Milk Chocolate) and it was pleasant but a little quirky. The breakfast was amazing! Small touches in the room looked a little worn, like paint chipping near handles for the closet. Small things. Overall, very nice.

- Matthijs (9/5): - Fantastisch hotel om te verblijven. Heerlijk ontbijt, en ook leuk om het museum te bezoeken. Alleen het parkeren is een beetje zoeken waar plek is, of je gaat in de betaalde ondergrondse garage. Maar daar heeft het hotel geen invloed op natuurlijk.

- Clarisse (8/5): - Pequeno-almoço excepcional. Solicitamos berço, confirmaram prontamente. Atendimento muito agradável e bebida de boas vindas é um extra simpático. Temperatura ótima no quarto, mesmo no pico do inverno. Apesar de o hotel não ter estacionamento, foi fácil estacionar na rua a menos de 5 minutos. Colchões em muito mau estado. Tinha duche higiénico mas vertia demasiada água, não era possível utilizar. Nota-se um desgaste grande dos móveis.
- Joao (7/5): Foi uma desilusão - Já cá tínhamos ficado antes e a minha mulher tinha adorado o pequeno-almoço, pelo que decidimos voltar. Infelizmente o pequeno-almoço já não é a mesma coisa e o resto do hotel deixa a desejar. Pelo preço este hotel tenta assumir uma posição que, na minha opinião, não vale. Não tem estacionamento. Já se começa a notar a degradação dos quartos. Querem cobrar 25€ por um berço para uma criança de 3 anos. O pequeno-almoço foi uma desilusão: o chocolate quente tinha grumos, as panquecas vinham frias, quando pedimos mais panquecas vinham frias na mesma e cobriram-nas com chocolate de avelã (nutela?). O museu do chocolate, que faz parte do hotel, está a cair aos pedaços, já com várias coisas que não funcionam. De forma geral foi uma desilusão e nota-se o desinvestimento na propriedade.
- Filipa (7/5): - O hotel é muito engraçado, as crianças adoraram. Tivemos a infelicidade de adoecer todos nessa noite e não aproveitar bem o que existia. Senti que podiam ter tido mais "cuidado" e atenção conosco ao ver-nos todos doentes. de qualquer forma é apenas uma questão de bom senso, pois o essencial foi atendido.
