The only way to air out the room was to open the patio door that had no screen door and the room was on the ground floor facing the parking lot: not safe. The layout of the bathroom is wrong: the door barely clears the toilet when it is opened. Poorly designed.

Our only complaint was the need for a night light and a softer mattress. There is a bit of a tripping hazard going into the rooms that could be a concern for some.

They need to do something about the continental breakfasts. Although there is a spread, it is so uninviting. Most mornings, the croissants were so hard. And it's the same thing every morning. You have to clean your own table, put your dishes in bins. Not a great expérience as far as breakfast is concernés.
gcgmalem (4/5): FIRST IMPRESSIONS 👎 - First impressions,left me looking for fault. The girl at reception was unfriendly, we felt like we were beneath her. My french us non existent but I can usually get by. She gave me the impression that, she would rather not deal with me, I stepped back. .my wife is a bit more tolerable. We got our key and she instructed us to park in back. In back taxes you down a level. We now had to climb stairs, after finding an unmarked door, no directions.. Had she instructed us to enter the front, 20 ft from our car, we would have entered on the main level, no stairs, our room was right there. Later at night, I noticed NO CARS parked out back where there is NO LIGHT, pitch black. I've been robbed in vacation, my car broken into.. So I moved my car ti the VERY WELL lit parking area in front. There was no hand soap in the washroom. Squeeze bottles on the wall . My wife couldn't squeeze the bottles to get soap or shampoo. She has problems with her hands, no grip.. Very small fridge. No luggage racks, to rest and open a suitcase. . No screen on sliding door of you want fresh air. ..no bugs. No control for the A/C unit to simply draw in fresh air. It didn't seem to work even for A/C which was too cold to use.. nor heat that I could tell Breakfast was good. Self serve continental Staff , young lady, was very friendly there. Staff, 2 men at front desk as we were leaving, friendly and accommodating. Unlike whe we arrived, with the Girl at front desk. 2 star if I was reviewing from our first impression.. 3 star as it wasn't all bad..
Curious09774456848 (10/5): Visit to Knowlton, Lac Brome - The hotel was really nice and had many amenities. We could not use the pool or sauna as we forgot our suits. Reception check in could have been more welcoming. We found she wasn't friendly to Anglais Canadians'. Check out was much more accommodating. Overall, a pretty nice place to crash for a night.

SUP rental starts too late. Lake is flat and quiet early in the morning and we were told rentals only open at 11am. Not useful. Breakfast is miserable for $300/night. Otherwise hotel is dated but everything works well is clean and is nice. Breakfast is really really basic. Like a bad 80s meal.

There is no closet or dresser to store our clothes in the bedroom.

Guest (8/5): We really enjoyed the beach area and the water was so warm. Loved it! And great firepit! - Almost everything. Very nice place to visit. So clean. The restaurant was very good but slow service. Lots to do on site and enjoy. We will be coming back in the future. The bed mattress is finished. Very soft in the middle and throughout the night you kept sliding towards the middle because there was no support there. Not pleasant. The was no TV in the bedroom. We always look forward to having a TV in the bedroom to help unwind from the day. We won't be staying in the suites in the future because of this fact. Disappointing.

Graciela (6/5): - The property outside needs some care but the interior is very nice and clean. The service is actually VERY poor. At check in we were given a card to access the room and that was that. We had to ask for the location of the room, we had to ask for the hotel services and facilities, and also about breakfast. Smiles were also not available. The next day we were told that the kayaks use was not included in our fare because we booked via Expedia. Kayaks are free for hotel guest but not for us. In fact, the employees left us with the impression that Expedia guest are a lower class. probably they do not realize that we would not have found them if it wasn’t for Expedia and now we really don’t feel like going back. It’s an unfortunate attitude! The beach attendant was the only hotel employee that had a friendly attitude. The breakfast was average, but the croissants tasted like from the day before. The restaurant that operates in the hotel, Un vrais delice, is new and highly recomendable. Excellent food, friendly service and good atmosphere. The Snaper was un vrais delice! We will go back to the restaurant but not to stay in this hotel.
Muydivertido (4/5): Not a good experience - We booked this place via a reservation app and we were treated like a lower class guest because of that. The place looks a bit tired from the outside, but inside is clean and modern. Unfortunately the service was very poor. At check in we were not given any information, not even the location of the room! We had to ask about facilities, breakfast, restaurant, everything! The receptionist only gave us the card to access the room. We were told that the kayaks were not included in our fare, however, they are free for hotel guests. The breakfast was average but the croissants were from the previous day. The new restaurant that operates from the hotel, is really good! It’s called Un Vrais Delice and it is delicious. It does not belong to the hotel. We will not go back to this place to stay but we will go back to Un Vrais Delice.

Caroline (8/5): - The King room was very roomy and the rain shower has very good pressure. Loved the balcony with view of the lake and sunset. The bed was very comfortable, I was able to connect my Roku for extra streaming channels. The hot tub was large and enjoyable although it was not hot and took too much time to get to the expected temperature, still it was nice, with a sauna inside. The breakfast area is spacious with lots of windows, the breakfast has everything you need. The pool was clean and the pool area was very pleasant and cozy. There's an area by the lake to sit with a fire to keep you warm. The whole experience was very nice, except for the lack of dining choices at the hotel; there's no room service and it's a fancy restaurant so if you're not in the mood, the only place that delivers in the area is the pizzeria. At least their food was good. The staff was nice but lacked hospitality. I would definitely go back for some R&R.
Omkar (4/5): Misleading pictures. - Room was sold as lake view in reality it was just parking view. Property photos are very misleading. Overall comfort and cleanliness was very poor. They didn’t properly vaccum room before we checked in. Patios had lot of cobwebs, not cleaned in years. Only good thing was pool and hot tub. I won’t recommend considering the price.

Kelly (6/5): For a resort stay this would be a good pick. We were visiting wineries and this location was far. - The hotel had many great amenities, some of which we made use of. It was great to have Robes in the room. Although the hotel was clean it is dated and needs a refresh. Much of the furniture and wall paint is chipped, and some wall paper torn. The bathroom is not well laid out so you can barely open/close the door, and there is limited space for personal belongings in the bathroom.
