Guest Reviews
- Ramanan (10/5): - A nice and cozy setup for people dealing with layovers.
- Richard (8/5): - Convenient
- Tony K (4/5): - Room too small. Dark and poor lighting. Asking old people like us to climb up a ladder to get to our capsule. Extremely dangerous. Will NEVER stay here again

- Eric (8/5): Short term sleep - Good short term sleep for 12 hrs. Only the price is the factor.
- Joshua (10/5): - Keep in mind that Airside means inside the terminal, past immigration/security! Also they have an hourly rate that's cheaper than what Expedia charges (you pay for a 12 hour stay, so I ended up spending about 5-10 bucks more than I needed to. Better to book directly
- Scarlet (10/5): - Good place for short rest and stay between transit.
- Wan (6/5): - Charge on luggage storage if not yet checked in. More expensive than other luggage storage places in the airport. Some noises at night due to bed pull down shade movements of others. Bathrooms too small with wet floor.
- Annie (10/5): - We booked a 3 people accommodation, it was secure and comfortable.
- Nurain (6/5): - This property does not state properly where capsule transit klia2 airside located at decription. I’m very disapointed because i cannot check in there because my flight was domestic flight. In the description does not state required international boarding pass to check in there because it located at international depature hall. They transfer me to capsule transit klia2 but the price was different. The price remained the same event if i was transfered there.
- Julie (8/5): - Was a great place to rest. Very clean. Not that easy to navigate through the terminal.
Some guest were noisy.
Staff were accommodating.
Would recommend
- Goh (6/5): - Very convenient since klia2 is very inconvenient, you arrived at the airport and you have to travel another hour to go to KL, only to come back next morning for your connecting flight, so staying in this capsule hotel enabled you to settle down straight away, but the capsule only let you sleep and doesn't consider your other needs like access to your big luggage for things you suddenly need, you have to leave it at the locker room which is away in another room
- Romzi (10/5): - My favorite place to check in
- Rosie (10/5): Great layover stay - A very cool experience in KL airport! The shipping container was well-ventilated and cool, the whole place was impeccably clean, and they added nice touches like a welcome bag with sleep mask, slippers, ear plugs, tooth brush, toothpaste and towel. The bathrooms and showers were like ones you’d find in a good gym. I’d definitely book again if I have another layover.

- Anastasiia (2/5): - I wrote a complaint about inappropriate conduct and extra fees has been changed for our hotel room stay!
No one even responded!!! Absolutely untrustworthy website. Usually in Australia we get charged for one day stay….in Kuala Lumpur airport they charge us for whole day,but we were allowed to stay only three hours. It has been stated on website until midday, but when I asked receptionist, he said no it’s only for three hours stay. How the hell???
- MEI (8/5): - Located in the same building of T2 but have to do custom clearance of either T1 or T2, on the floor level of a big shopping mall full of restaurants and food courts, clean bed sheet, public shower area, a locker provided, and staff were helpful and friendly, modern style designed, toilets were clean maybe in different floor of your capsule.
- Pohling (10/5): - Amazingly convenient, very comfortable and clean. I wish there was another one in KLIA1. I had to take the taxi over after midnight.
- Simon (2/5): Nice idea, but unable to get there! - I booked this hotel for a 5-hour stopover while I was transiting between flights. I flew in and was to transfer to another codeshare flight. Unfortunately the capsule hotel is located in KLIA2 and not in the international transit terminal. If your bags have been checked all the way through and/or you have any duty free liquids, you are unable to leave the transit terminal to get to KLIA2 and so as a result I was not able to get to the hotel. I thought that the codeshare company fly out of KLIA2 and assumed I would be transferring to this terminal. This is not the case. If you collect your bags in KL you can leave the airport by going through customs and immigration but remember that you will not be able to bring any liquids larger than 100mls back in with you! There are no lockers in the transit terminal for you to store your liquids in either! So basically I could see the terminal that the hotel was in, but had no way of getting to it... which was frustrating to say the least! Unfortunately I can't comment on The hotel itself as I could not get there!
- Jocelyn Ying pei (8/5): - The hotel is located in the terminal, at Level 1. The toilets are clean and there is hot water.
- Tiffany (10/5): - Friendly staff very helpful.
- Hian (4/5): - No mentioned of Tea/coffee only noticed it on our way out. Shower area too far as well as dirty shower area
- Zarrin (10/5): Perfect for transit - Perfect when you have to stay for long hours at airport and all you need is a good sleep. I was in all females section. The check in is smooth and stay can be for straight 12 hours. Very economical. Only hindsight is that you have to go through immigration which takes a bit longer.
- Nurfathiha (10/5): - good job
- silvia (8/5): - Clean and comfortable. My capsule is at the upper zone. I found the Aircon/ventilation fan a bit loud. Unsure if it is better in the lower zone. However, earplugs are included in the freebie pack.
- Verified traveler (10/5): Worth the price! - Good place for 12 hours transit
- Chris (10/5): - Had a great night sleep, comfortable and convenient! Will do again next time.
- SAKI (10/5): - The location is good. I arrived the airport at 2am and was so smooth to get to the hotel.
- Seng Yen (10/5): - Good nights sleep, probably coz not many people around
- Jia (10/5): - Met my expectations in every way. Very clean and is situated in a quiet area with less foot traffic. My view of capsule hotels changed because of Capsule Transit KLIA2.
- Zarrin (8/5): Clarity required - I had no issues with accommodation except the hotel should have sent some instructions or make it clear that I need to go through immigration.
I landed on a different terminal, then took the train to go through immigration. Malaysia has changed to digital system so I had to waste my time in filling the forms. A waste of 2 hours for nothing after a long flight.
- hitomi (8/5): - Comfortable!
- Ronald (10/5): - Good for transfer
- Tasneem (10/5): - Friendly staff, cleanliness, practical deisgn, shower access, the tote bag ! The whole experience was worth it. Only the online booking process was confusing - but once I physically reached the service, it was excellent.
- Neil (10/5): - I wish this inexpensive sleep option was in every major airport in the world.
- Bree (10/5): Convenient and clean - Great location for an early morning flight. Very convenient. Room was clean and comfortable. Would recommend.
- Zhieng Wern (10/5): - I did not expect it to be clean & so quiet eventhough it was a sharing-type of accommodation.
The check in was easy & fast. They provided a locker for bigger luggages where you cannot bring in huge luggages into the capsule area.
They also provided a tag (for access into the capsule area), a bag with a bath towel in it, sleeping eye mask & ear plugs.
The capsule room is relatively small but it's still spacious enough for me to move around comfortably. I am quite a small-sized guy so I'm not sure if they have bigger rooms for bigger men.
They also provided toilet slippers in the capsule. The toilet itself is surprisingly clean & dry eventhough it's a sharing toilet.
Overall, I'm truly satisfied with my stay there because of the convenience, the affordable price & the clean & the well maintained facilities.
It might not be suitable for light sleepers or people who prioritize privacy
- Skookum (6/5): - There were problems with the receptacles in the first pod and second pod but eventually got it working. They facilities are clean, unfortunately the cleaning chemicals used in the bathrooms had a sickeningly bad smell.
It was adequate for the price.
- Romzi (10/5): - Amazing, Simple & Chill environment
- Kathleen (10/5): - Very comfortable and clean.
Organized staff.
- Melissa (8/5): - Perfect if you have an early flight the next morning
- Chang (4/5): - Very confined space. Not suitable for senior person for sure.
With the price per night in Malaysia, not worth in value.
- Kittiwadee (10/5): - Very nice bed
- Diana (10/5): - Great for a sleep n shower between flights.
Only would prefer a door with a lock.
- YUEN CHARK (10/5): - Hope to improve more signage board around airport. Hard to find the location.
- Anson (10/5): - i'm having next day flight transit, so choose to have a place to have a good rest. even though i only use it for around 4 hrs in total, i'm very satiesfied with it.
Pro:
1. clean and comfortable stay
2. able to shower (strong water pressure, love it)
3. free 3 in 1 coffee and water.
4. free locker, no need to bring everything with u to ur pod.
Cons :
1. definitely can hear some sound from outside when people walking or close the door of pod(its just a curtain)
2. pod is really just a single bed size(extra 40cm space, maybe) no space for unpack ur luggage.
thats all i experience and definitely will stay again for further flight.
- James (10/5): - Really great for your stopovers at the airport, just make sure you book the airside one rather than the outside hotel as you will have to leave the terminal to access the latter hotel
- Amanda (10/5): - I had an 8 hours stopover in KL airport and needed somewhere to have a quick rest and freshen up. The " Capsule Transit KLIA2 Airside" hotel (pod-beds) was perfect for my needs. The bed was surprisingly comfy and the pod was larger than I expected. It was like a nice little cubby room just for me. I stayed in the "Female-Only" dorm, but the mixed-dorms were also quite safe for any travellers. The bathroom and shower facilities were also very modern. I felt a lot better being able to shower, freshen up, stretch out in my own bed for a few hours (rather than sitting around in the terminal). The Capsule Hotel also offered flexible booking times; 1hrs, 3hrs, 6hrs, 12hrs stays. I think they also offered bag holding service or pay to just use the shower facilities.
- Fanjia (10/5): - -
- Vernon (2/5): Feeling itchy, very dirty and unhygienic pillows! - Capsule Container KLIA2 terminal 2. Outside arrival level 1
I am writing to make a formal complaint about my recent stay at your hotel. I checked in to the Capsuletransit hotel on 17 April 23, for a 12-hour sleep, and unfortunately, my experience was far from satisfactory.
During the night, I started feeling itchy, and as a result, I had a very poor sleep. The next day, my friend and I were shocked to find that two of the pillows in our room were full of stains. The pillows were very dirty and unhygienic, which made us question the overall cleanliness of the room.
We immediately took the pillows to the counter for an explanation, but to our surprise, the staff noted it without any surprise or concern. It appeared that such issues were common to them, which was very disappointing. In the current situation of the COVID-19 pandemic, it is unacceptable to ignore hygiene issues, and it is a major concern for the safety of guests.
I am writing this complaint to urge the management team to take the issue of hygiene seriously. It is essential that you maintain the highest level of cleanliness and hygiene to ensure the safety and well-being of your guests. Unfortunately, I did not receive any response from the management team.
- Kerry (8/5): - Excellent location for fly in fly out.
Not much dining options on airside
- CHUK WAH (4/5): - Spent over 30 mins to check in at midnight. low efficiency of front desk staff for the pre booking check in. Walk in guest spent less time to check in which is very not fair. need to improve.
- Verified traveler (4/5): I must have just been unlucky - The space was good for the cost, shower is fine and it was pretty quiet when I stayed. How
- vilasinee (8/5): - Convenient
- Edwin Kee Cheong (8/5): - Very convenient if you need a place to get some short rest, freshen up by taking a hot shower.
- Kamkeong (10/5): - My first at a capsule hotel and I must say it is much more comfortable than I had expected. The reception was efficient and the place is clean. Will use again if required.
- Yasmin (10/5): - 1st time stayed at capsule transit hotel, fast checked in/out. Very comfortable bed.
Would recommended to a friend.
- Woon Ching (10/5): - Cool, simple yet well equipped.
- DAYANG ZAHARA BINTI MOHD (10/5): - Love it, thank you.
- Hui Hui (8/5): - Good
- eng (8/5): - Good for catching early morning flight
- Alex (10/5): - Convenient, safe & comfortable place to sleep for a night.
- Shelly (8/5): - Good and comfortable
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Great! but a bit of noise made by other guests from time to time.
- Jess (10/5): Convenient and comfortable. - I missed my flight and was forced to stay another night in Kuala Lumpur. This capsule hotel was a lifesaver. Being that it’s inside the airport made it super convenient. The only bad thing is you only have a 12 hour time frame per stay.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Small space but comfy. It'd be better if could have "door" instead of Roman blind. Felt insecure when ppl walked pass my capsule. But overall it's still very comfortable.
- dan (6/5): nice stay, but ultra slow communication - it was my second stay. the accommodation itself (private room and shared bathroom) was fine. and clean. my biggest issue was the poor communication protocol. i sent an email to them, and waited for 3 days. no response. then i sent a message on facebook. got a response saying that they didn’t see any email from me. so i gave them my email address so that they could locate my email. they read that message. and still no response for another 4 days. then i sent another message on facebook. they immediately responded to my email. took them 7 days to answer a very simple question that required a yes or no. to me, that was a very poor customer service.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - It is a TOP Hotel. We like it
- Sergio (10/5): Chepa, Clean and Comfortable! - perfect for long and overnight layovers, super clean and comfortable!
- Maegan (6/5): Nice place, but hard to find - It should be made more clear where the hotel is located. It was pretty difficult to find and we had to exit through customs and immigration which defeated the purpose of getting a hotel right in the airport. They also required a cash deposit which seemed unnecessary instead of just taking a credit card. The beds were comfortable, but easy to hear other guests since the walls are not solid. We saw another capsule hotel inside the transit gate that we would have rather stayed at for an easier check in/check out.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Great location and being able to just walk downstairs and go to sleep whilst waiting for your flight.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - it was clean but It would be great to provide a soap.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Nice hotel, very quiet
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Poor air-conditioning and lack of mobile phone signal.
- Chia Minn (6/5): Place to sleep right in KLIA 2 - For the price it would be better go stay further out around KLIA / KLIA 2 area, at least u have a full room and bathroom to yourself. Can't really recommend this place unless you really need to rest and can't travel further away from KLIA 2.
- Jessica (8/5): Perfect for flexible airport accommodation - Pleasantly surprised at our comfortable stay after a very early (3:40am) arrival. Initially was hesitant to book as reviews were back and forth but happy we did. Finding the correct floor /escalators was the most challenging part of our stay. Check-in was easy thanks to the girl who was at the front desk, we received totes with small water bottle and airplane style toothbrush &paste (very appreciated!) and a fresh towel to shower with.
Stayed in the Double accommodation- Bed was comfortable, small table inside, a couple of hooks the hang the totes given and a space for shoes. We slept great, no noise at all ; was just what we needed after long flights. To note: there is no real door on the sleeping space, it was a rolling curtain on ours but lockers were provided for valuables and we did not feel unsafe.
After looking into some of the other accommodation on offer in the airport area we are glad we picked this one for it's great location, open checkin times and comfortable sleep. Also, the clothes steamer room was a nice touch. Would recommend if needing a flexible sleeping arrangement for airport transfers.
- lai kheng (8/5): PERFECT FOR SHORT HOURS REST - this place just perfect for overnight stayed for next early flight. highly recommended.
- Verified traveler (4/5): - The experience staying here is nothing like staying in the original capsule hotels in Japan. This is just another backpacker hostel marketed differently. The only great thing is the location, right at the KLIA2 terminal building. The bed is comfortable but the ventilation/air-conditioner in the pod did not work properly. The shower and toilet facility is very basic and not maintained properly. The sink was not working, I had to brush my teeth in the shower! The staff always advise guests of the strict no-noise policy, but the night I was there, a couple from mainland China (judging by their Mandarin accent) had a quarrel and screamed at each other, disregarding other guests! I know this is not the Capsule Transit’s fault, but this is a warning that some crazy people could stay in this facility too and would totally ruin your experience.
- Verified traveler (4/5): - - Locker location - very bad, no privacy as can be seen by anyone walking pass the capsule hotel, too small and old.
- shower room - not clean, shower head broken, basin top not clean
- security to female section is slacked
- Rose (8/5): - Good.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Very convenient for people on long layovers at Kuala Lumpur International Airport. Slightly tricky to find but was directed by the local personal at the airport. It is located on the first level of klia2 - a mall that is located directly adjacent to the airport. Despite my 12 hour layover I was able to check in at 2am, sleep for awhile and then wake up, go shopping and had a plethora of dining options before getting on my flight. Open 24 hours a day and you can stay for 3/6/12 hour durations. Luggage storage available as well.
- Verified traveler (8/5): cozy - the place is clean and for the capse, it is wide for a single person. the locker are placed outside of our room, and it has a big space to store 2 backpacks and 1 20inch luggage
- Tony (8/5): - Good stay
- Verified traveler (6/5): - Expensive stay yet comfortable. The only thing I do not like are the fact that the toilet and shower rooms’ doors are half way, and the blind to the capsule entrance is not fully closed (you can peek through the sides that open), and the lighting is too strong you can see people inside.
- Estevan (8/5): - Pleasant experience
- Steve (8/5): - Great location and value. If you have a layover this is a must
- Cathy (8/5): - It is fine with a small hotel room. Just that the air conditioner is rely on the one at outside. Kindda stuffy inside the room.
- Teresa (10/5): - Excellent concept Very Happy tô be there at airport All Very Good
- Kong (8/5): - More hair dryers can be used compare to last time. More convenient.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Good location and convenience for people who wants to stay overnight.
- day (8/5): Good location hotel - Hotel located in the airport, very convenient. It will s just fit for a short stay especially for transfer. Bed comfortable and clean. Price worth.
- Sing (6/5): - It is convenient to stay here overnight while waiting for transit in the early morning. However, I feel not so comfortable to share with other people in a common bathroom. And the price was a bit high.
- day (8/5): Convenient hotel - Hotel at the airport, very convenient. It takes about 10 minuets for check in. It is very good for a short stay. Overall, the hotel is good especially price worth.
- Lee (6/5): Good for transit - Suitable for a few hours of rest... a bit noisy at night. As for bathroom, I have problem adjusting the
Water temperature for shower. No indication which is hot water and which is cold water.
