Guest Reviews
- chelbic2018 (10/5): Fabulous Hotel Delamar - Currently staying in the hotel Delamar and I have to say it is an amazing hotel, we are in room 612 with a poolside view, it's pretty shaded early morning but have a lovely sunny balcony in the evening. The staff from reception right through to dining and maintenance are fantastic, everything is to a high standard and done with a smile, a special shout out to the egg chef, I fear I might be divorced because my husband loves his eggs, he says he a genius at what he does, he loves him. There are multiple pools but the rooftop ones are gorgeous, no trouble getting a sun bed, sun all day and they are heated which is fantastic for this time of year. I would highly recommend the Delamar ff you are coming to Lloret de Mar.
- bandkcorroy (10/5): Excellent - Excellent hotel ticks all the boxes.
Brill location close to beach and old town. Only 2 mins walk walk to both.
Lots of restaurants and shops right beside hotel.
Clean modern hotel with comfy beds.
Lovely Rooftop pools with bar.
Lovely lounge areas.
Great breakfast lots of options.
Good value for money.
Friendly staff helpful booked our taxi for early morning flight to airport.
Booked again for April.
- helenaY7212IM (10/5): Fabulous Hotel - Beautiful hotel. Good size rooms. Very clean. Exceeded our expectations. Great location near to the beach. Wonderful roof top pools. We will definitely be returning next year.
- rhondan936 (6/5): Great Hotel, near beach and bars! - Hotel was beautiful, can't fault it!
Roof top pools and bar were fabulous.
1 min walk to beach which was lovely and kept really clean, across the road was the main strip with bars & restaraunts.
Room was lovey clean and big enough for 2 people, we had pool view which was lovely.
Hardly any noise from the strip heard in our room.
Room service good, room cleaned daily, with fresh towels daily.
Location wasn't great, I'm not sure if it was because of the time of year - end of September, few bars & restaurants closed, wasn't much entertainment around to enjoy.
We were part of a large group of friends walking from bar to bar, not sure I would have felt safe walking the streets alone, lots of young boys/men hanging around made me feel a little uneasy.
Lots of pickpockets around so be careful with belongings.
Would recommend the hotel but no so much the area - sorry!
- 809linzic (8/5): Happy customer lovely hotel - Beautiful hotel, right in the center main strip road. So the street is noisy and we went October out of season so in season goodness know how bad. The hotel smells beautiful second you walk in, the reception quick easy check in. Our room was stunning beautifully clean not a single thing wrong until we went to sleep or should I say didn't. Fighting drunks 4am in a morning outside was awful. Reception very helpful moved us no question to room 524 which the view was not pretty but the silence was perfect and bonus of sun loungers on terrace which 1st room did not have. It was a perfect sun trap and loved it. The roof top pools were fabulous and 25 degree so just lovely to swim in. Cocktails 9 euro at bar. We had breakfast and evening meal both so much choice. Breakfast help yourself to prosecco and served till 12pm you could not go hungry so many options. Evening meal served 7.30pm till 10 I think and again plenty of choice, meats/ fish cooked to order and we enjoyed every meal with delicious desserts so many to pick from. They had entertainment 3 nights which was guitar singing quite traditional. They had a gym, golf club hire and bike hire room. Massages we didn't have one so can't say if great. There is spar shop next door food take aways right outside, 2 mins to beach and the rows and rows of shops. Bus station short walk left as you walk out we got bus to Tossa de mar well worth a visit quieter pretty castle amazing cute little streets nicer shops was 5 euro return bus every 30 mins can't get lost. We did coast path walks both ways castle one end and at other beautiful walk round to a gorgeous cliffside bar a real treat to find. Go past the lady statue keep going we carried on after the bar upto a castle type tower a really lovely walk. We also visited Garden of St Clotilde we got taxi from outside hotel 9 euro, it was 6 euro each to get in and walked back which took 20 mins . Nice but only there hour and a half and remember in October not many flowers out but still beautiful and glad we went. The hotel im sure must be one of the best there from walking round. We could not have picked a nicer adult only but do remember the rooms on the road are noisy lol side or side street much quieter. No iron in room can borrow for one hour from reception, they also gave adapter plugs 5euro deposit if you forget one. 10 euro deposit on towels for pool but can swap every day for a fresh one. They had diffrent pillows so if your not comfy they had various textures to swap. Everywhere was spotless.
- ruxandraUsa (8/5): Fabulous hotel in a not so nice resort of Lloret de Mar - The hotel is an absolute diamond in the very rough resort of Lloret de Mar. Me and my partner stay here for 3 nights and we were so glad we chose the half board option, as looking at most of the food establishments around the resort (kebabs, fast food etc) we would have struggled to find somewhere decent for dinners.
On that note the dinner was fantastic, different options every night, seafood and all sorts of meats cooked fresh, salads, lovely deserts etc. and a good selection of wine, loved the Alburino.
The breakfast was more like a banquet fit for a king, they serve it until midday and it was one of the best breakfasts ever. Nuts, fruits, eggs cooked any way you like, everything you’d want for breakfast, including as much Cava as you can drink.
We were allocated a room on the 5th floor with a partial sea view, very nice and clean room, however you could still hear some noise from the busy road outside, quite a lot of noisy drunks at 5-6 in the morning, even in October.
The Avana pools were fabulous!
We did not like Lloret de Mar resort at all, too rough, it’s more like a cheap party place for youngsters and we won’t come back, however we’d highly recommend this hotel to anyone coming here on holiday!
- wifewalker (8/5): Exceeded expectations! - Exceeded my expectations!
This trendy and beautifully furnished low key Hotel is well located near the beach and numerous bars restaurants, the bus station and even has a nice supermarket next door. Our quiet room on the 6th floor had a small balcony with a pleasant view.
The bedroom was normal size, well fitted out, with comfy bed and pillows, free safe, free refrigerator, kettle and limited hospitality items. Bathroom good size with large walk in shower. Large tv with limited uk channels was disappointingly not smart with no hdmi input so unable to cast or connect any device which was slightly annoying in 2025.
In room Wi-Fi was good however not the rooftop solarium terrace and pool area which had no signal at all so overall very poor. Beach towels were available for €10 deposit, free daily change if needed.
The restaurant offered excellent choices of food, we were half board and looked forward to all our meals. As other reviewers have mentioned the plates are stone cold and some of the food is annoyingly only lukewarm! There are 2 microwaves however. The toasters in the morning are almost useless as they take forever to toast! The restaurant staff were lovely and very friendly. Peak times it gets very busy and noisy!
The rooftop pools are not deep enough to swim in, guests were drinking alcohol in the pool! There were plenty of free sun loungers available during our visit and the beach is perfect too.
I would have given this lovely hotel 5 stars if our room was cleaned properly, some days the bathroom hadn’t even had a wipe over which is pretty disgusting, I showed reception photos of the grime and unmopped floor and I lost count of how many times odd towels or soap were not replaced. Also I asked at reception if we could have the room serviced earlier in the day instead of late afternoon, we were told room changes come first so no, yet every day adjacent rooms were being serviced before ours so not happy about that customer service.
Overall I recommend this hotel and would return.
- Jessica (10/5): - Great hotel, lovely facilities including the rooftop bar and pools, attentive staff and good food
- 289emzt (10/5): Lovely hotel. - Have just returned from a 5 night stay with my sisters and our friend. The hotel is absolutely beautiful. So clean with great facilities. Lockers to store your luggage before check in and after checkout were great.
We had a room facing a side street so very quiet, the balcony was very small but had two chairs and a table. Two huge double beds and a lovely shower with daily house keeping.
Roof top pool and bar was brilliant. So many sun beds and wine was very cheap compared to England.
Restaurant was lovely. So much choice for food and very high quality. Definitely recommend eating there.
Checkout was 11am but our transfer wasn’t until 6.30, the hotel gave us full use of the facilities for the day after checking out which was brilliant. We put our luggage in the lockers and relaxed by the pool for the day.
Our only complaint really was the lifts. One didn’t work for a few days and the other is just so slow. Doesn’t seem to be any order in which floor it goes to and would pass you regularly. Very very tiny so could only fit a few people in so you’d easily be standing there over 15 minutes every time you wanted to go up or down. We ended up using the stairs most of the time but frustrating for people with mobility issues or if you needed to take heavy bags. They definitely need a better lift system with the amount of people that stay there. It isn’t sufficient.
Overall though the hotel is absolutely beautiful and we had the best time.
- Gertlushbrizzlelush (10/5): Brilliant hotel - Yet again another amazing holiday from the time we arrived to the time we left.
The breakfast is outstanding so many choices to choose from.
This time we went bed and breakfast as we wanted to eat out and explore.
We were given the same room as last year we thought that was a lovely gesture.
I fully recommend this hotel it’s like home from home everyone makes you feel so welcome. See you again soon guys and thank you.
- benidormbob (8/5): Nice hotel. Some tweaks needed. - Nice hotel. Rooftop pools a bonus, always room available.
Housekeeping very hit n miss. Tea tray not replenished 3 days out of 7. Ashtray not emptied on balcony until 4th day. Muddy footprints on bathroom floor where I walked in with trainers there for 2 days. One day, the ONLY thing that was done, was to rinse my coffee cup, but sadly still didn't replenish the tea tray!
Tea/coffee machine in dining room ought to positioned away from the food serving area as the long queues hindered getting at the food. And why oh why did they decide to refill the machine at the same time everyday? This was at the busiest time it was bad enough with two machines working. Plus the temperature was quite uncomfortable queuing at the ONE working machine for 20 minutes. They need to be positioned somewhere away from the food serving area.
Hot water with 'bits' in it doesn't resemble any kind of soup I've had before. Chef needs to go to college on a soup making course.
Overall though, it didn't affect the enjoyment of my trip to Lloret.
- Dream40789712265 (10/5): Best hotel in Lloret - 5 star Hotel
Probably the best hotel in Lloret
Been many times
Fantastic pools
Great customer service
Awesome food and drinks
- Escape00795442296 (8/5): Lovely Hotel Choose room wisely - Hotel Delamar is lovely and clean and serves a fabulous breakfast. Staff are really nice aswell. Rooftop pools are great for relaxing and a quick dip.
The only downside with the hotel is as per previous comments a room facing the main drag will affect your sleep unless you are hard of hearing or are out partying yourself to 5am. I had been meaning to contact the hotel to ask for an internal facing room but forgot. By the time we got there we thought we would give it a go but we should have asked for a change. This was the only thing which spoiled the Hotel Experience.
Onto Lloret De Mar, not for me. This is the Spanish Resorts I thought were a thing of the past. All kebab and pizza and not much good to eat food is nasty and expensive . Booze cheap and tacky shops full of garbage set up for Hen and Stag dos. Nothing really to do in the resort apart from get the bus elsewhere.
The Hotel is great and the only reason I gave it 4 out of 5 was due to the poor room allocation. The staff are amazing so is the breakfast
- Melissa (10/5): - Close to beach, shops and restaurants
- Angelika (10/5): - All the best! Clean room, friendly staff and amazing rooftop pool.
- Louise (10/5): - Pool top
Terrace ezcellent
- tessc580 (10/5): Amazing hotel. Gorgeous, clean and great catering. - I would absolutely recommend this hotel to anyone with full confidence. The hotel is gorgeous - very clean with impressive facilities. The staff are all so lovely and helpful, especially the front desk and bar staff. Everything is reasonably priced drinks wise, and the food at breakfast is perfect. We booked a twin room without specifying a need for a balcony and ended up with two double beds and a small balcony overlooking a quiet street. Our room was also cleaned to an excellent standard daily. I think there are four pools total (3 on the roof) and all were never too busy at any time with many sunbeds available. We didn’t feel the need to leave the hotel all that much because everything you may need is here (though we did do a fair share of exploring). We didn’t end up having an evening meal at the hotel but were given a voucher for their restaurant and I’m sure the food would have been amazing. Coming from two young girls travelling alone, this hotel felt especially safe and I would definitely stay here again. Thank you to all the staff who made our visit so special!
- Liam (10/5): Perfect Hotel - Second stay here in 2 years and loved it again, breakfast was excellent, bed really comfortable with great shower...rooftop pool great so would highly recommend
- B7703QZclairep (10/5): Oasis of calm on the madness of the strip! - Stunning hotel, beautifully designed. Rooms clean, comfortable beds, amazing bathroom, loved the free air con, WiFi, fridge and safe. Breakfast superb with enough choice for even the fussiest of eaters. Staff friendly, polite, helpful and knowledgeable. Went for a recharge break for 4 nights with a friend and we couldn’t have wished for a more perfect base. Appreciated the room overlooked the pool. Rooftop pools were phenomenal, bar service and food reasonable and super speedy! Cliental was a huge mix of nationalities and ages. No screaming kids a huge bonus. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend or return. Thank you the Delamar Team! Claire & Hannah
- G8608RLchristopherh (8/5): Nice hotel with great amenities. - ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️☆
What a lovely hotel! The staff were friendly and helpful, the breakfast was fantastic, and the rooms were clean and spacious. The only downside is that road-facing rooms can be quite noisy.
- Liam (6/5): - Hotel is lovely, pool areas are very well maintained with plenty of staff and a nice place to relax and sunbathe. The only negative was our room was on the first floor looking out onto a back street that was extremely noisy at night, up to 2am most nights, and again early morning with street cleaners.
- U3620SMnataliae (6/5): Ok ish but no so WOW. - Hotel was lovely, clean and cosy. Was very disappointed with room we stayed with an awful view and awful balcony, we spend so much money for that view. I asked reception if they will be able to swap the room but they wouldn’t as they said it was ‘full’ even tho they did have some room available. Room was so small and shower wasn’t good either.
Breakfast and dinner was lovely, only if they had a proper good coffee as I didn’t enjoy the coffee from the machine they tasted cheap and didn’t have latte. Breakfast was good but dinner was ok, would have been good if there was different choices as we had the same dinner everyday and only once we had was Japanese cuisine we loved that! But some nights we had to have our food take away and spend more money. Waitress was lovely! But barman downstairs was looking aggressive and fustrasted, wasn’t friendly too. Neither was the lady from last Wednesday night she was giving me the attitude when I asked her for a drink.
We loved the rooftop and food was delicious and drinks was good! Would be great if the hotel provided all inclusive rather than spending our money. My partner loved the gym and was clean.
Wouldn’t come back again.
- 890martyl (10/5): Planning on a return already! - What a place, Hotel Delamar have really nailed the Holiday and Chill memo. From checking in and checking out which was a breeze shout to Nadia for being so nice and helpful when I queried anything. The staff in general were all fab, from the bar staff to the breakfast and dinner staff all so nice.
As you walk into Hotel Delamar you get hit with such a beautiful smell/scent which is all throughout the hotel (send me some please lol). Me and my gf had a pool facing room which was great some say the rooms are small but they are just perfect with more than enough room. Beds comfy can't complain as I slept very well. Breakfast finishes at 12 which is so good. The breakfast choice itself is huge, so much to chose from top marks!
The pool on the ground floor is great if you like a swim and want to stay out of the shade, plenty of sun longers, seating and some lovely day beds perfect.
The rooftop pools are amazing especially Avana where the bar is central very reasonable priced food and drinks (food is so good for the price). The pools dotted all around the rooftop are super, with all different loungers and plenty of them from your standard loungers to your comfy big bean bag sort of loungers which are super comfy. Pretty much something for everyone. There is also a little chilled area that's covered if you want to get out of the sun for a bit and have a drink and food on the rooftop which is a great touch.
Location couldn't be better, step out of the hotel and you have bars, restaurants and nightclubs if you fancy a boogie, all within a few mins walk and a beach a few 100 yards away which is beautiful. Tip for a restaurant if you love a steak La Brava steakhouse absolutely delicious!
The clientele the hotel gets is young to old who all want the same thing to just relax and chill out and enjoy the peace and tranquility of the little gem of an oasis which is Hotel Delamar. Thanks for having us, cannot wait to comeback!
Marty
- VikkiC39 (10/5): Fab hotel! - Absolutely loved our trip to the Delamar!
So much so that we have booked again for end of August.
Room small but great
Rooftop fab with great food & drinks
Reception very helpful with parking
Plan to try the beach club this time round
But the best part of the hotel stay for us was the Breakfast 🤩
Looking forward to being here again 31st August!
- Verified traveler (10/5): Great hotel - would recommend! - Beautiful, clean, well-equipped, helpful & relaxing hotel. Walkable to all areas of Lloret De Mar including the bus station for connections to Barcelona, the airports & surrounding areas. Despite being on a strip with nightclubs (the only blip), the sound-proofing & light prevention in the rooms is fantastic. We were 3rd floor, facing a nightclub & staying in peak season but still had a peaceful, uninterrupted night sleep each night. Would highly recommend & would stay there should we return to Lloret De Mar
- ColinH485 (8/5): Don’t book if you get a street view room ! - Lovely hotel. Very clean and fresh, all 4 pools are amazing, food is amazing and staff were excellent. HOWEVER, I would recommend anyone booking here to book on the basis that you get a room facing onwards towards the ground floor pool. If you get a room facing out onto the Main Street then do not book as two nightclubs across the road open until 6am and once they close the street cleaners are out front 6-7am. You will never sleep a wink!!!!
- 615samirw (10/5): Delamar holiday - Great hotel. We booked half board and buffet was one of the best we ever had. Fresh and different food everyday, floor staff and chefs were friendly. 5* for Sara at reception, perfect check in/check out with her. Location is great, 3 minutes from the beach, close to supermarkets, restaurant and bars. The rooftop bar is great, cheap and friendly service, great view. Totally recommend!!!
- SBRAGG1 (10/5): Fantastic hotel with brilliant food choice of a high quality. - Small frontage but wow a large oasis of pools and tranquility. Provided welcome information pamphlet that was really useful for exploring local area and hotel facilities. Stayed HB and food was brilliant, plenty of choice and the soup was always hot and the cold dishes well refrigerated. No signs to explain whether dishes were gluten free though. Choice at breakfast superb and GF bread or croissants provided. Entertainment Friday and Saturday and both singing acts were very good with a relaxing vibe. Milena on reception always welcoming and gave guidance for visiting Girona. Rooms not that spacious and no bedside drawers but very clean. Patio doors kept out street noise and a/c quiet. This resort attracts a lot young night-time party goers and the beach is crowded with deep slopes in to the sea with gravelly sand. The hotel is a real sanctuary and enjoyed by a varied generally European clientele. I would return again out of peak season to enjoy the hotel. We had a room overlooking street that I preferred to overlooking the pool.
- 760lishas (10/5): Amazing stay - We had an amazing time at Hotel Delamar! The hotel is, modern, and spotlessly clean, with a relaxed atmosphere that makes you feel instantly on holiday. The food was absolutely amazing – plenty of fresh, healthy options and a wide variety to suit every taste.
A special mention to Milenna (I think that was her name) on reception – she was so helpful when our luggage was delayed, really going above and beyond. The bar staff were also super friendly and welcoming.
The location is perfect, right on the strip – great for exploring, but if your room faces the strip it can be a little noisy. That said, it didn’t impact our sleep at all. There were always plenty of sun loungers available, which made relaxing by the pool so easy.
The transfer from Barcelona airport took around 2.5 hours, which I knew before booking, so no surprises there. Overall, we had an amazing stay and will definitely be coming back!
- ricardo (6/5): - Rooms are very small with no closets, if you don’t smoke the smell of smoke will bother you, even inside the room, food in Hotel 3 out of 5 and outside Hotel area terrible
- Y5894PMlaurad (10/5): Amazing - stunning hotel! - One of the best hotels I’ve stayed in! The smell of the hotel is unreal! All of the team were so friendly and everywhere is so clean and tidy.
- Graham (8/5): Nice hotel! Very busy and young area - The hotel is very nice. Multiple pools and great staff. All included breakfast is great. The area is very busy with young people though, I came here hoping for a more relaxing beach environment, this place is beautiful and right on the beach but good for a younger crowd. I would still recommend the hotel for sure!
If you are looking for a more relaxing and romantic area you should look at Tossa De Mar.
- Santiago (8/5): - Was great
- Nick (8/5): Nice hotel. Noisy location - Good pool and lounge area upstairs. Nice breakfast. Rooms clean and decent, but little basic. Very noisy street, with music from clubs and bars outside going until 6am in morning
- John (10/5): - Great hotel with nice pools, great service, very clean, good breakfast and close to everything in Lloret. Only negative is that if you have a room facing the street it can be a bit noisy.
- murrayw530 (6/5): Avoid a room on the strip - The hotel was very good overall but our two rooms were 103and 104 right on the strip , the noise was unbearable and lack of sleep did spoil my holiday
- Daniel (8/5): Nice hotel, small rooms, Avoid lloret - Nice hotel, though the rooms are a bit cramped. Terrible area though. Wish someone sent me the memo that Lloret is full of teenagers - I mean 16 year olds. The town is full of them, no adults (28+) in sight for the most part, had to venture out to other areas.
- Mike (10/5): - Really enjoyed the roof terrace and Pool
Rooms were well appointed and a great size
Breakfast was great quality and lots of choice.
The staff that I interacted with were very friendly and helpful.
- Joshua (10/5): - Stayed for 5 days and was great, a couple more days would have been better. Rooms were cosy and comfortable. The hotel as a whole was fantastic.
- Martin0083 (10/5): Can’t fault this hotel. - Came here on a recommendation and it didn’t disappoint. Only a few nights stay but the hotel and facilities are really good. Breakfast selection was really good quality. Rooftop bar was very smart and relaxing. Would definitely stay here again.
- fleurc937 (10/5): Highly recommend - We had such a fabulous stay here - the room was lovely and cleaned every day, so much food choice (albeit some of the cooked items were a bit cold), the hotel is spacious and clean and the staff are very friendly and attentive (particularly the rooftop bar staff who are always busy due to how packed it gets up there!). The pools are lovely, the hotel is in a good place and the atmosphere is very relaxed. Special mention to the pool cleaner who said hello to everybody and made an extra effort to make you feel welcome - he was such a hard worker and really lovely, so we just wanted to highlight this! We had a wonderful stay and will miss the hotel, would definitely recommend and would definitely come back!
- sammymanmagician (10/5): Great hotel in a nice location - First rate hotel that offers comfort and relaxation as standard. The food is of the highest quality and standard.
Staff are very friendly and polite. Rooftop bar and pool is spacious, clean and serves food as well. It’s situated very close to the beach and local restaurants and shops.
A very relaxing place to stay
Highly recommend
- 6alane (10/5): Amazing, clean, chilled hotel - Fab, clean hotel in the heart of Lloret De Mar. It is adults only but no stag or hen parties allowed. The main action is on the rooftop where there is a really vibrant but chilled atmosphere. There are three pools on the rooftop but more for sitting in with a drink rather than swimming. We had lunch upstairs which was of good quality and a special shout out to Judy who was very friendly and helpful. There is a gym which had mostly aerobic machines but there were some dumbbells, a bench and a multi-gym machine. Our room was on the first floor and looking out the back. We thought it would be noisy from reading other reviews but the sound proofing was actually very good and once the door was shut you didn't hear much and we got a good sleep. Breakfast was of very high quality but the only thing I would change is that the hot items on the breakfast were hot, as I felt they were on the cool side. However, all in all a great experience and will definitely stay here again if we are in the area.
- deanharman (10/5): Friendly and relaxing - Loved our recent stay at Hotel Delamar. The warm and friendly staff certainly made us feel at home. We were half-board and can honestly say that the food was great. Prosecco with breakfast was a great touch.
The real gem is the hotel's rooftop pools, bar, and lounge areas. The perfect setting for relaxation. We spent a lot of time sunbathing by the pool or enjoying a refreshing jug of sangria while chilling in the lounge area. We are certainly looking forward to returning.
- Ian Michael (10/5): - Great for a relaxing break - make sure you get the use of the rooftop pool and bar!
- trinah656 (10/5): Lovely hotel - Just returned lovely hotel lovely pools breakfast is served till 12 everything you could want all staff very friendly rooms cleaned daily coffee tea refilled shower gels daily if needed only one compliant not fir to hotel but whoever cleaned my room first day didn't no anything apart from make the bed no refills didn't empty bin bit this was obviously due ti the cleaner that 1 day as after that was great I will return close to beach shops plenty of sunbeds available even at midday
- Maryann (10/5): - This is a wonderful adult hotel steps from the beach. It’s located in a great spot near many restaurants and bars. The bed was very comfortable, the AC cooled the room, and the staff was great.
- sarahh566 (10/5): Redeemed yourselves - Totally redeemed yourselves. My second visit and I’ve got to say this year it was perfect. The reception stall was all so friendly and welcoming as were the bar staff. The roof top bar atmosphere every day was buzzin but not rowdy.
We had no problems checking in and were given our wristbands and passes for the rooftop no problem.
Now for my favourite part… the breakfast buffet. Loved it. The fella making the omelettes was just so lovely. The standard of food was great and there was plenty to go round. Defo coming back. Thank you for a wonderful stay.
- Aaron (10/5): - Excellent Stay – Clean, Comfortable & Great Service
Really enjoyed my stay! The hotel was clean, well-maintained, and in a convenient location. Staff were friendly and helpful throughout. My room was quiet and comfortable, with everything I needed. Great value for money—would definitely stay again.
- James (10/5): - Lovely hotel for the price, very social atmosphere, rooms are fairly basic, but would definitely go back. Would not recommend for business travellers or remote working, but terrific hotel for a vacation.
- Hillary (10/5): - Super nice hotel. Room was great. All the rooftop stuff was amazing. Great location.
- laura1961 (10/5): Fourth stay and hotel is still excellent - We recently returned for our 4th stay at the Hotel Delamar. Check in was simple and quick. We had requested a room on a high floor and were allocated room 615 which was the same room we had on our last stay!
Room was quiet , very clean with the mini fridge, free safe and tea/coffee making facilities. Breakfast was as usual a huge selection of things, all very tasty, everyone is catered for and always loads of free tables to use.
We loved the rooftop pool areas and used both of them, plenty of sun beds and very peaceful.
On our last day I had asked for a late checkout , as our flight was just before midnight , unfortunately the hotel was unable to provide as they were fully booked. However we were able to use the luggage lockers on the lower ground floor which we could lock and access when we needed anything. We still had access to the rooftop pool areas so we enjoyed our last day. Just a small thing , it would have been nice to be able to use a shower after check out but we managed ok.
A super hotel, one of the best I have stayed in anywhere and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend.
- Karen (8/5): - Hotel food and accomodation was great. The rooftop pool area is a must. Plenty of sunbeds, no need to reserve early. My only issue was the noise in the early hours as we had a room facing the strip. If staying make sure you request a room at the back or overlookingbthe pool.
- toffeegirl12 (10/5): Amazing hotel - Wow hotel is fabulous. As soon as you walk through the doors the amazing smell hits you and the clean modern style really sets the tone.
Check in was great, friendly welcome and given all information needed.
We headed up to our room on the 2nd floor and again we were very pleased with the room and its location. Considering we had only paid £252 for 3 nights we hadn’t really expected much but so far the hotel was exceeding our expectations.
We headed down to the bar where they had a DJ playing chilled music and we relaxed here with a few reasonably priced drinks.
The next day we went to the rooftop and just wow. What a bonus this was. Lovely sunbathing areas with nice pools to cool down it but the best was the Avana rooftop area. My husband and I literally spent all our time up here. He enjoys the shade and I enjoy the sun and we were able to mix both and still spend time together. The drinks and food were fabulous and this was our favourite place to sit.
We were bed and breakfast and with breakfast being served till 12 it was a great option. So much choice you wouldn’t go hungry.
All the staff we came across from reception, bar staff and cleaners were so friendly. I would not hesitate to recommend Hotel Delamar and in fact my husband and I are already planning our next stay here.
- mags089 (10/5): Gorgeous hotel... - I have just returned from the Delamar Hotel, my friend and I stayed for a week and had a wonderful time. The rooms are lovely... cleaned and towel changes every day, food is amazing... breakfast and dinner was a great choice for us, something for everyone and the staff are very helpful. The variety of pools is great, always somewhere to soak up the sun and daily pool towels is always a bonus. The balcony is a nice place to relax with a drink in the evening. The beach is 2 minutes walk and is stunning, ask at reception for a map and find the shopping area, there is a stunning church and lots of lovely little bars and restaurants... this was definitely a great holiday and I highly recommend the Delamar!
- R1124GNgordons (10/5): One of the best Hotels I’ve stayed in - My wife came here a few years ago with her friend and loved it that much, she recommended that I go with her this time.
This was my first time in an adults only hotel.
Location - perfect.
Shops, beach and more at the front door
Cleanliness - outstanding.
The cleaners are super on the ball and leave the rooms immaculate. They’re often seen around the hotel cleaning the stairs, stair rails, lifts, tiles, gym equipment etc etc.
The maintenance team seen sweeping up fallen leaves, minor repairs, daily pool testing etc.
Evening Entertainment - excellent.
Every evening this guy would set up his decs and play continuous music throughout. He is an amazing DJ transitioning music perfectly. I’m still to find his social media account (if he has one) so I can follow his channel. (Please can you share that with me?)
There was also live music on the Wednesday and Friday which was great.
Room accommodation - very nice.
I understand that not every room in the hotel won’t be as good as the next, due to location on different floors, side of building etc. My room was the last room of level 2 (237) so I assumed it would be next to a boiler room or something! But it wasn’t and it was very quiet, situated away from the ground floor lounge/reception area, lifts etc. It over looked the centre pool and it was pretty chilled to sit on the balcony.
Food - excellent.
We only had breakfast as part of our package. Loads of choice for everyone. I like to plate up a traditional English breakfast, so that’s what I did and it was delicious every morning.
We dined on the evening just to see what the food was like and it was equally good.
The staff were on the ball and cleaned up quickly to make up new tables.
There were lots of tables to choose from and it was never a rush to pick one.
And lastly from me, the Roof Top.
Clean, relaxing and a proper sun trap!
The first day we chilled out on the larger roof top where the bar over looks the pool. The Dec chairs are single, movable but can get a little bit congested due to the amount of chairs.
The second day we tried the smaller roof top, which was way nicer. The Dec chairs are doubled to chill with your friend/partner, more comfortable with lovely cushioned chairs, well spaced out and there were single chairs along the front and back which were super nice.
The first half of the week was extremely relaxing, especially because of the dynamic of people. Couples just like myself and my wife, small groups of people, older couples, no shouting or swearing etc.
Unfortunately the second half of the week changed all of that as new people came into circulation. Large groups of men resulted in rowdiness, shouting, swearing and even witnessed a man coming out of the pool, who hocked and spat into the plants as he came down the steps.
A large group of men took over the far end of the Dec chairs daily, reserving their spots with towels and other belongings, sometimes disappearing for hours. I’d watch people come into the area and quickly turn around as there appeared to be no chairs for them or they didn’t want to sunbathe near the men.
The men were constantly perving on the women as the women walked to and from the pool/bar, even pointing their fingers at them which made me and my wife and others uncomfortable, shortening everyone’s sunbathing time.
This resulted in us not using the roof top facilities for the remainder of the holiday.
That’s my only negative comment and It’s not really the hotels fault when I think about it. How would any hotel control the larger groups? At the time of their booking? When they all arrive at check in? I don’t know.
I’m summary - this hotel is amazing and I would definitely come back, providing I get a room located in a similar location of the hotel.
10/10
- Stevejc64 (6/5): Lloret De Mar may 2025 - Hotel clean, staff friendly, food repetitive breakfast Luke warm, wi fi poor,no drinks provided for evening meal 1/2 bottle of water €2.50. Quite Hotel evening entertainment 3 nights per week, close to the beach, shops, bars. Overall, this is a good hotel rooftop terrace with 3 bathing pools plus 2 swimming pool on the ground.
- Shabbah (4/5): A Sad Decline in Standards at my Fave! :( - I’m genuinely heartbroken to be writing this, as Hotel Delamar was my favourite hotel in the world — a place I raved about to everyone I knew. I stayed here twice in 2024, once solo for my birthday and once in October, and both times were absolutely perfect. I even recommended it to neighbours, friends, colleagues, and family, many of whom have since stayed. But after returning from my third visit (May 8–12, 2025), I’m left with a real sense of disappointment.
Let me start with the positives — because there were some.
The cleaning staff are phenomenal. Our rooms and bathrooms were cleaned to an incredibly high standard every single day — the kind of detail and care that deserves real recognition. The decor of the hotel is still beautiful and stylish, even if some areas are starting to show signs of neglect. The breakfast was as lovely as ever, with plenty of choice and high-quality food. And the reception staff — aside from one individual — were warm, professional, and helpful throughout. The beds are very comfy with lovely pillows and the shower is fantastic, plenty of hot water and power, if maybe a slight slip hazard. (Be careful)
One receptionist in particular (a curly-haired woman who also worked here last year) was a real standout. When my sister and I didn’t sleep a wink on our first night due to extremely noisy street-facing rooms, she was kind, empathetic, and swiftly moved us to the sixth floor. Those new rooms were peaceful and lovely — exactly the kind of experience I remembered from previous stays.
Unfortunately, the rest of the trip made it hard to ignore how much has changed.
At check-in, we encountered a male staff member (possibly a manager) who left a very negative impression. I had booked my trip solo, and my sister decided to join last-minute, booking her own room. We simply asked (politely) if our rooms could be near each other, and his response was gruff and dismissive: "Only if you contacted the hotel beforehand." We had both emailed via the website — neither of us received a reply. His whole tone was unwelcoming, and for reasons I can’t fully explain, it felt like he had a personal bias against us — whether it was because we were Irish, women, travelling without men… I don’t know. But to even have that thought upon arrival is not what you want from a hotel experience.
He assigned us two of the noisiest rooms in the hotel — first floor, directly over the street with a taxi rank underneath. Despite travelling with chronic illness and sleep apnea (and seeking relaxation, not nightlife), we were placed in what felt like leftover rooms for partygoers. One had a broken bathroom mirror, and both felt more worn than previous rooms I’d stayed in.
When we were moved to better rooms (thankfully), this same man rode up in the lift with us, commenting on the room change. It felt unnecessary — almost as if he was keeping an eye on us, and it left me feeling unsettled again.
Later, when my niece decided to join us for two nights over my birthday weekend, we approached reception to ask (transparently) about paying for her breakfast or wristband. A lovely young male staff member said it should be fine — until he checked with the same manager. Suddenly there was a €49 per night charge, even though single and double occupancy were the same price on the hotel’s own booking system. My sister paid it, but it didn’t sit right — especially when we had already paid full price for our own rooms. It felt, once again, like this particular staff member was targeting us.
There were other changes that felt like cost-cutting:
- On the rooftop bar, my sister was served small beers at large beer prices — perhaps assuming she wouldn’t notice.
- Leaking air conditioning in the corridors.
- A large plant near the restaurant pool was completely infested with shelled insects — clearly not being cared for.
- Less staff in the restaurant led to things like no coffee cups or glasses at times, and a general sense of stress among the team — the joy they clearly had in 2024 seemed gone.
- And most surprisingly, the signature scent of the hotel — something I always adored and told everyone about — was missing. No welcoming aroma in reception. It sounds small, but it changed the feel of the whole place.
Lastly, a big part of Delamar’s appeal was its clear stance against hen and stag parties, creating a chilled, grown-up atmosphere. While I didn’t see official stags/hens, there were several large groups:
- On our first day, a group of around 20 young men were drinking heavily in the rooftop VIP area.
- On other days, groups (mostly English) marked sunbeds with towels and flip-flops and disappeared for hours — something I’d never seen tolerated here before.
I still love this hotel — or at least, I love the memory of what it was. I’ll never forget the feeling of being offered the same room for my return trip in 2024. That level of care meant the world to me as a neurodivergent guest. But this trip left me feeling unwelcome, watched, and let down.
I write this with sadness, not spite. I hope the hotel can return to the beautiful standard it once set — because it was truly special. But for now, I’ll be looking elsewhere for future stays, and I’m left hoping those I recommended it to had better luck than I did this time. If not, it's embarrassing as I so highly recommended Hotel Delamar to so many people.
- dannyt430 (10/5): A wonderful stay in Lloret de Mar - A great hotel in central Lloret de Mar. I was looking for a front line hotel but I’m afraid they all looked tired - reminded me of the 80s. The Delamar however was just what we were looking for. A great welcome from reception, comfortable clean rooms, fabulous pool on the roof with great bar staff throughout. Breakfast was also plentiful and tasty.
- daffodil12345_11 (10/5): Excellent!!!! - From the moment I walked into the hotel to my leaving the hotel all I got was fabulous service.
The room was excellent as was all the service I received….from everyone.
The food was amazing……something for everyone.
If I have 1 small complaint…..it was the shower cubicle and bathroom. The floor in the bathroom and shower cubicle was so slippery that I had to hold onto to something to stop myself slipping over…….a shower mat possibly? Other than that……highly recommended.
- Moran (10/5): - Great location, food was delicious and the rooftop was amazing! Highly recommended
- J (10/5): Thoroughly recommend - Great team throughout the hotel.
- John (10/5): - This is our 5th stay at this hotel. It is very good and adults only. Breakfast is incredible. The staff are all pleasant and helpful.
- Charlotte (8/5): - Lovely modern hotel. Seems to have been refurbished recently. Food was great, the rooftop pools and lounging areas are great to get the sun. So handy for the bus station to the airport. Wasn’t noisy or rowdy
- Mrs Iwona (10/5): - Great hotel, near the beach. Lots of areas to chill out.
- brian (10/5): - The Property is great, clean, cool, fresh, and of course the beach and surrounding Countryside is gorgeous, but the area around the hotel is like the European Niagara Fall, trashy and Casinos and dicey stores....love Delmar, but the downtown of Lloret is not what we were looking for. ...that said the surrounding area outside of the strip area is gorgeous
- William (10/5): - I enjoyed my stay at Delamar Hotel...thought the staff were professional courteous. They tidied my room every day, that was a first. The breakfast was excellent...had zero complains.
If I return to Lloret de Mar I stay there again..
Or recomment a friend
- 807sandrax (8/5): Honeymoon Experience - My husband and I stayed here after staying in a 3 star hotel in Barcelona. I'm usually a 5 star hotel guest, but Spain was expensive in August. In short, the 3 star hotel in Barcelona treated us more special than this hotel, which was disappointing. We had mentioned that we were on our honeymoon, and while I didn't expect anything special, we weren't congratulated with a note, and I was surprised to be given a room with a TV that was cracked. And they don't put tissues in the rooms. Like the front desk was confused when I asked them for some. They did give me a travel pack size, but I've never seen a hotel without Kleenex. Our room thankfully was in a quiet area as requested and they were giving guests the choice of a welcome gift of a straw hat or reusable bag. which was super cool! And everyone gets a voucher for a free gift at the bar, which was delicious.
Pros: The property is phenomenal and massive. Any bad reviews about the pools should be ignored. The only thing to note is that, since we went during high season, the pools were crowded, but that's to be expected.
The food is 11/10. Like beyond expectation for any hotel! Literally resort style buffet with a chocolate fountain, churros, a massive array of fruit etc. My husband and I were obsessed.
The location was good, but like the whole town isn't that big so regardless of where you stay, you can get to anywhere by foot.
The staff was super helpful in my trip planning and even aided me in finding transportation from barcelona to Lloret De Mar that suited my preferences. Thank you for saving me money by suggesting a bus!
All in all, no regrets staying here, but can't give it a 5/5.
- MarteOeveraasen (8/5): Great - Currently on my last night here, and I can’t fault this hotel much. Staff is very polite and helpful, rooms are good, great cleaning and/or privacy, although we had to switch rooms once because there was a sewage smell, hence the one less star.. But we got to switch immediately, no problem. Rooms are soundproofed, so no real noise to complain about. BIG shower. Breakfast is amazing, way better than I thought it would be. Even free cava! 🥳 Pools are a bit shallow, but all in all a great hotel I would definitely come back to, close to absolutely everything.
- Quest58335143094 (10/5): A great holiday - Just back from a two week holiday at the DELAMAR ,what a lovely hotel it is ,from going in up the ramp to the check in desk, lovely bar area and relaxing furniture round a nice music area.
Check in was perfect had to wait a couple of hours before going to room had a lovely cocktail by the pool. The pool area is nice and comfortable just people chatting away.
The room we had 319 was perfect, overlooking the pool
Room was spotless, beds perfect shower room big 👍
Once checked in we went for a stroll down to the beach,5or 6 minutes.
Plenty of lovely beach bars to choose from
Evening meals, wow ,you have to be very picky if you didn’t like anything
Always a great selection of food to enjoy, never had a problem putting a meal together, even went back for seconds lol
Puddings,ah this were I over enjoyed myself,a great choice 👍
The sever and dining are staff all very friendly, had a good chat with them
Definitely a fantastic place, definitely going back next year for 3 weeks
Finally, the avana roof top bar was absolutely amazing ,great drinks at a very good price
Staff nice and friendly
- 824coletted (10/5): Excellent hotel !! 10 out of 10 - Stunning hotel, on arrival was greeted by friendly staff, even given a welcome gift.
The rooms were lovely and clean ! The shower was cracking, had a beautiful view of the pool. Spoilt for choice with pools esp with the rooftop. Spoilt for choice with the food selection at breakfast. Even had a dj on a night in the lovely bar area ! Perfect location if you like heading out for drinks, but also not completely surrounded by them either. 10 out of 10 would 100 percent visit this hotel again and highly recommend!
Nothing was to much for the staff.
- 485lishar (8/5): Beautiful hotel and enjoyable stay - Absolute gem of a hotel . We stayed here for 4 nights with a group of ladies and was treated lovely. We received a Little welcome gift on arrival and wasn't treated different due to being in a group the reviews prior to our arrival made us a little worried but all was perfect. The hotel is very clean and food taste great we stayed half board and had plenty of choice. Our room was facing a side street and wasn't to much noise at night only down side was the balcony had not much room at all. We loved the roof top pools and i would definitely come back again in a group or with my husband as a couples holiday. The location of the hotel is spot on and central.
LLoret de mar its self is a lovely coastal town only thing that i didn't enjoy was the stony beach but thats personal choice.
Top Tips- Calm and relaxed within the hotel PARTY PARTY outside :)
Hope you like your alcoholic drinks in a IKEA vase Best size cocktails ever around the bars in llorett must visit The SWING beach bar :)
- Andrew Bernard (8/5): - .
- Sonia (10/5): - This is the second stay at this hotel. Stayed a few years ago also. Loved my stay. Great housekeeping room was always cleaned and left immaculate. Half board so breakfast and dinner. Great and varied food options. The rooftop is amazing and relaxing. Thanks for a wonderful stay, hope to stay again.
- Brant (10/5): - This is a great hotel, in a great spot to explore Lloret De Mar. The breakfast was incredible, sooo many choices, including fresh cooked eggs and omelettes. The pills and rooftop areas were great. Absolutely nothing I can complain about.
- David (10/5): Lovely hotel - Lovely hotel in a great location. Rooms good size, clean and comfortable. Food was good. Different pools and areas to suit your needs, music or quiet etc.
Would have no problem recommending this hotel
- Conor (8/5): - Nice hotel, roof top bar was great. TV in room was old and only had spanish channels, a 4* hotel should really have a smart tv considering the price you pay. It rained a few days while we there and a decent tv would have helped. Spanish guitarist on wednesday nights was amazing but the some of the other entertainment was terrible
- Jennifer (8/5): - Parking was not good. Hotel is very nice,
Rooms are very nice. The area around is super loud and young.
- Ruth (10/5): - Great hotel and food was Lovely. We were on the floor facing the lively street but we didn’t have any trouble sleeping or with noise.
- Verified traveler (6/5): - Amazing location and gorgeous hotel. We however did not have hou
- Lorena (10/5): - Our stay at Hotel Delamar was incredible. The place is gorgeous and impeccable. The staff was so friendly and kind. Highly recommend!
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Perfect place to stay.
No matter short weekend or longer holiday.
Location great, staff really helpful, great breakfast with various of choices from buffet.
Highly recommended and definitely be back
- Ellie (10/5): - Wonderful staff!
Beautiful breakfast selection that caters for most diets. My friend has a gluten free and was presented with a coeliac friendly bread roll and croissant each morning.
The rooms were clean, well presented and of decent size.
There was entertainment via traditional singers or musicians on the evenings.
The check in staff and dining staff were kind and smiley.
My only negative has nothing to do with the hotel and that is Lloret De Mar is a party town for young teenagers. I would be aware of this before you visit incase you are not looking for this.
A wonderful stay and we would love to come again!
- Bradley (10/5): Comfortable stay. - Nice stay in an clean and tidy hotel with welcoming staff.
Bar Areas slightly under staffed with longer waiting times on the roof tops.
Our room faced onto the strip so was loud at times during the night.
- Verified traveler (6/5): - It was good for a 3-star hotel. There was some issues with the AC in my room which were not addressed when I informed staff about it.
- kerry (10/5): - The property was amazing. Beautiful rooms with comfortable beds and pillows. Shower was super fast.
The pool areas had loads of sun beds and towels. The avana rooftop are is totally luxurious with super comfortable beds and private areas to sunbathe.
The staff are so friendly, helpful and courteous
- Horia (10/5): Awesome room great breakfast - Really clean room, some what basic but very comfortable bed and good shower pressure. The hotel has two pools and a rooftop bar. The breakfast buffet is really good with a wide selection of hot and cold items. No issues with noise but I visited in low season. They have indoor paid parking for a fee but spaces are limited. The hotel is close to everything
- Peter (10/5): The Delamar Hotel Lloret de Mar. - The delamar hotel is an exceptional hotel which has high standards of cleanliness and a staff who are professional in their approach and manner. I really couldn't fault any department within the hotel. The range and quality of the food for breakfast and dinner was of a high standard and the bar staff and room staff were efficient and professional. All in all a very pleasant stay. Thank you.
- Michelle (10/5): - Lovely and clean , the beds are nice and big . The food is excellent I cannot fault the place
- Brooklyn (10/5): Great central location - Great hotel! We had a room at the front which could get a little loud due to the location but didn’t put us off! We are already talking about returning in the future.
Breakfast was great and amazing selection
The rooftop pool was just incredible
- Gary (10/5): Half-term Break - Our first stay at Delamar despite many visits to lloret and we would definitely go back it's in a great location.Modern clean and up to date. Excellent facilities and the rooftop pool, bar and sundecks are great. Great selection breakfast choice. Our only area for improvement would be to make the hot selection a little warmer a typical Spanish hotel issue. Another bonus its Adults only.
- Deb (8/5): Nice if you like being part of the party - Very nice place. Didn’t care for the street the hotel was on but that was my fault for not doing my research. Beach very close and pretty.
- Andrew (8/5): - Nice hotel, great location, friendly and helpful staff.
- Liam (10/5): Just loved it - Just back from 4 night stay couldnt fault a thing from the minute we arrived as place was spotless...room was lovely and bed so comfortable....tv had a few english speaking channels....staff were excellent in all areas bar, restaurant, cleaning, reception and pool areas....facilities and food excellent so definately will be back...just loved it !!
