Guest Reviews
- Maureen (8/5): - Great place to stay needs up grade
- Verified traveler (2/5): Run-down - The room was very rundown the shower door glass is loose. The bed already looked like it had been slept in.l wasn't expecting much for the price of the room but still bwlow par.
- Bruce (4/5): - The Property s extremely tired and rundown.
- Lynette (10/5): - Room was clean and tidy. Area outside needs a lot of work
- Gavin (4/5): - Very ran down property, we booked this because it was close to where we had to be and it had a pool, water in the pool was green, pool was unable to be used because of this, everything is just old, sticky tape holding one of the beds together, A/C leaked water and had to be turned off, smoke alarm was hanging out of the roof, toilet leaked water. Like I said it’s a very ran down and very poorly maintained property. We’ve stayed in some ordinary places and I’ve never felt the need to write a review like this. We wouldn’t stay here again.
- Jordy (8/5): - Room was clean. As far as overnight stops go if you just need a place to stay the night I felt there was value for money spent.
- Paul (2/5): - Smelly, not clean, no hot water after 2 minutes, fridge broken, unsafe
- Rangestar (2/5): Absolutely disgusting and unkept and unclean. - Absolutely disgusting. DO NOT STAY. Had a smell to the room when entered. Mould in the shower with broken tiles and dripped. Microwave dirty. Fridge seal broken and wouldn’t close properly. Tiled carpet Flooring had what looked like mould and wasn’t stuck down in places. Plaster ripped off the walls in places. Door had been patched around the handle lock and didn’t look safe. Was only in the room for about an hour before I cancelled and moved to another hotel.
- Umeshwara (6/5): Cheap for Melbourne - Clean property with newish appliances, but property itself is quite run down.
But very cheap for Melbourne.
- Kasaven (2/5): - This property is very dirty, shower area dirty. Bathroom and shower taps leak all the time. No safety testing tags on any electrical appliances
Noisy, other guests fighting. I will not recommend this property to others.
- Robert (4/5): - Our stay was quite happy.
But the property was poorly maintained. Eg:
* Spa out of order,
* Hairdryer busted. (Ok one in wardrobe),
* Toilet cistern case busted (works OK),
* shower screen sags so not closing properly,
* Shower screen cracked, repaired with tape,
* Couldn"t get heat from the air con (our fUlt?),
* TV doesn't show chanels 2, 20. 22 etc,
But we had a happy time there!
- W8234QKsteveh (4/5): Give it a miss - Unkept poorly maintained, broken soap holder, broken jug, terrible parking , police in attendance twice to either some guests or the alleged homeless people sharing the property.
The only reason we stayed was it was 2 streets away from my aunty who was having her 100th birthday.
- Andrew (2/5): - An absolute flea put … dirty , smelly … a dead bird floating in the pool was the nicest thing about the Greensborough comfort inn.
the kind of place you would commit suicide in or want to if you didn’t have a bridge you could jump off nearby.
A disgrace !
You would need to be on heroin to stay, which is ok cause you could probably buy heroin from the person in the room next door.
Couldn’t stay the night and keep my self respect.
Yuk
- Mobile31489974345 (2/5): Horrific - Gave 1 star because I can’t rate it a 0!! The most disgusting motel I have ever stayed in my life. The room smelt putrid, dirty, old furniture, no plates or cutlery. Heating was bad we were cold, smelly blankets. There was constant water dripping all night from the spa bath also had to wear ear plugs.we didn’t even shower and left at 7am because I had to go home and clean myself. I’d rather sleep in my car and will definitely never be going back
- Patricia (4/5): - No one in reception when we arrived within office hours. Rang mobile no one answered. Carpet was absolutely disgusting. Shower recess had so much mould. Heating system was so old did not work well
Bed linen was okay but bed hard as on wooden base. Fellow was very abrupt and went close to being rude. Please know I would not complain usually but this was over the top. Being a Comfort Inn was expecting a lot more definitely would not stay there again.
- Alison (2/5): - The carpet was stained, there was severe mould on the ceiling of the large bathroom, and there was not hot water on the morning when we woke up.
We had already booked in for a second night and had been charged, to which we never received a refund even though the managers expected there to not be any hot water for that day. Very disappointed
- Sandra (4/5): - I know it is old, so that makes it hard. But I had only 1 towel, shower down wall not clean. Light over basin not going. Nothing to put on floor for shower. Their was a micowave and toaster but only 2 mugs and spoons, no plates or knife and fork. Door not locked when I arrived Owner did fix that, and was very friendly.
- 668maddiep (2/5): DISGRACEFUL. - Myself and my partner had an appt and decided to stay here as the photos online looked okay and it was close to where we needed to go. The first problem started when we couldn’t even see the hotel from the road, the grass was overgrown, bushes covering the signage and no lights whatsoever. We were told to check the room before we paid which was fine, we checked and it definitely wasn’t too bad nor the best but we decided for one night it should be okay. After going out of dinner and coming back we properly inspected the room and we noticed all the hair on the floor in the bathroom and in the shower, mould on the bathroom roof, the room smelt, really outdated, furniture was falling apart, the whole room was just disgraceful really. $150 was a rip off for what they were offering. After noticing the hair in the bathroom, I thought to check the bed and to my surprise there was HAIR again under the sheets and that was enough for us to speak to the guy at reception, get a full REFUND and get the hell out of there. He wasn’t going to give us a refund and when we told him to have a look at what we found he said “it doesn’t matter, I’ll just put the doona back on” implying that he didn’t care and wouldn’t clean the bed free of hair and would just put the sheets back on to cover it. Absolutely disgusting. How they are still in business is beyond me. Will NEVER recommend here and will make sure everyone knows not to waste their money.
- Denis (4/5): - Not impressed at all.
- Stephen (4/5): - Not maintained
- Susan (4/5): - Near the place of conference.
There were no toilet paper. Only 1 towel. Smoke alarm is busted. Aircon not working. Front desk closed after 8pm. We were placed in a smoking room even if our reservations is for non smoking.
- Ken (8/5): - It was good for the money. Clean bedding, a warm room and close to where we wanted to be. Towels and toiletries good too. Traffic noise died down eventually.
- Catherine (4/5): - Outdated, spa out of service, bed rock solid, only one wool blanket on bed and no doona or quilt, no additional bedding, blu tack on walls, areas where carpet didnt cover concrete, staining in shower, blinds damaged
- Rodney (4/5): - Hot water not consistent.
Several cracks around walls.
Beds uncomfortable.
No food close buy. Had to order in food.
no lite Milk option.
T V Only had channel 7 available in a Metro area. Reception unavailable in morning so just left key in box.
Basic standards not comparable with $139.00 fee.
- Imran Lemar (10/5): - good
- Y9672ELjeffk (2/5): More like Un-Comfort Inn - I can honestly say in my 49 years living on this planet, this is by far the worst place I have ever stayed in. First impressions...disgusting smell of stale curry or god knows what else, sticky carpets, broken switches, dodgy handyman work, toilet seat sliding around everywhere, putrid curtains, blood splatter on the ceiling!! WTF! We could only stay 1 of 3 nights. To the owner, don't take on a business you can't afford to maintain, you might enjoy living like this but 95% of the public don't. People !! Do not stay here.
- Cheryl (8/5): - The motel is old and in need of painting and repairs
The bathroom ceiling was covered in mold ; bathroom door needed replacing ; the spa was broken and carpets were old and dirty , and it was the hardest most uncomfortable bed I have ever tried to sleep in , Outside needed a good hose down and a good clean
The room smelt very musky
This motel is definitely nothing like the advertised photos
Would not stay again
- Rachel (6/5): - was able to park my car
- Matthew (6/5): - The property was reasonable. The air conditioner didn’t work very well.
- Steven (6/5): - Furnished from the 1980s. A fair amount of traffic noise. Handy to Watsonia train station.
- Ian (4/5): - The property is very dated - old 1970's styling and furniture.
While the bed and sheets were clean the carpet was rather grubby and probably needs replacing. The room funiture looks like a collection from a second-hand store. One of the coathangers in the closet was yuck greasy. Bathroom was clean but needs refreshing.
In-room spa bath wasn't used but looked clean.
Windows need replacing - preferably with double glazed windows - they are dirty don't close and looked broken. The curtains need replacing they look dirty too.
The kicker for this place though is that is is right beside where a new motorway/hiway is being built and with traffic lights out side this is not a peaceful and quiet location.
- Shane (4/5): - Very run down.
- Quevy (4/5): - The condition of property was appalling given the amount of money I paid! The curtains were hung crooked, bathroom grout wasn’t cleaned properly, no privacy from road next to windows so had to keep curtains closed 24/7. The noise was like sleeping with a truck. This motel should be bulldozed to ground!
- Chris (8/5): - Appreciate staff staying back for my late checkin at 8pm,
Difficult environment for the motel right now, with huge railway station works ande Big Build under way right adjacent.
Well done to soldier on in difficult circumstances.
- Craig (4/5): - Property nothing at all like the photo, had to go to reception for towels as none were provided in the room and a number of appliances did not work.
Property looks and is run down.
- Kerrie-ann (2/5): - I'm not even sure how this hotel is allowed to stay open. Absolutely filthy. Wires hanging out of the ceiling where the smoke alarm should be. Mould on the ceiling which is caving in. Can't even see through the windows for the dirt. Old fridges thrown in the "garden". Broken chairs lying around. Disgraceful.
- Nadine (2/5): - This property has great potential. *positive*
However it is so run down I'm surprised its not shut down. Fire hazard and total filth. Room was unclean and smelt woefully. Premises has a pool...told I could use it but I would need to clean it first! Room had a spa, I did clean it but then it wouldnt turn off had to call front office. Even had a fox visit in the outside jungle. Wotif got me again, photos do not match what you pay for. Lesson learnt, read the reviews!!!
- DALE (6/5): - Rooms need an update
- Carly (6/5): - Large gap (3cm) under door to outside when latched, shower with limited hot water
- Jessica (2/5): - When you are told prior to check in “I need to show you the room first”, and then the showing of the room was pointing out all the problems… it probably sums it up.
- Chris (8/5): - We stayed at the Comfort Inn due to its proximity to our relatives who live in Melbourne. We knew the roadworks were underway so expected some noise and disruption. We were happy enough with the room, albeit a little tired and in need of an upgrade but the price was reflective of the condition. We would probably stay there again for the same reason.
- Andrea (6/5): - Location was convenient to where we needed to be.The room presented clean even though it was a very old building and property maintenance is not high on owners agenda I don't think. The room itself had a distinct musty smell which probably comes from the very old carpet flooring. Could not connect to the free WIFI that was advertised. Had to pay an extra security deposit over and above the payment already made with Expedia. This was then refunded which takes a few days to process. The bathroom towels were thread bare and holey in a couple of them. The bed is VERY firm in the room we stayed in.
- Garry (2/5): - Wet patch in the carpet, broken door lock, T.V. inoperable, curtains ripped, soap dish in shower broken, no details for emergencies/evacuation,etc.
- Jane (2/5): Disgusting - This place was that bad I decided not to stay. It was cheap but I've stayed in better than this for less. If there was nowhere else to go I would have opted to stay in my car. Don't take room 30 if they offer it to you. It smells putrid. It's a combination of cigarette smell and mould. The carpet is worn right down and there are gaps around the room where you can see the slab. The grounds are full of weeds and broken dirty furniture. The cigarette trays outside the rooms are in need of emptying. Rubbish all over the place. The pool looked gross. Hotels tried to get me a refund but the hotel refused. They even take a $100 bond. I don't know what for as the furniture in the room looks like it was accessed from the local tip. The lazy fellow in reception tried to tell me they rent and don't have enough money to renovate. When I pay $129 I don't expect a flash room. What I do expect is a clean room. He did try to give me another room, and it didn't smell as bad but my impression of the whole place was off putting and couldn't trust that the sheets and bathroom had been cleaned properly. I wish I'd taken photos of the room before handing the key back.
- Chris (8/5): - Nice property very helpful staff but room 32 needs a few things done to it.
- Vijaya (8/5): - It was so noisy you can hear the Vehicle sound in the room.
- Dougie (2/5): - A dump. Will never stay here again. A shabby, grubby noisy and generally dire place. Horrid stains on the carpet, long black hairs in the bathroom, everything was worn out and broken looking. Gaps in the carpet around the wardrobe, a constantly running lavatory with a broken cistern, and the gap under the badly repaired door allowed the room to fill with diesel fumes and dust. Never again.
- John (6/5): - Room looked clean. But blankets needed a clean. Curtains also need a wash. Maintenance was poor. Rip in cushion, broken toilet system cover & seat. For &149 a night expected basic but not below standard. Paid a lot less for better condition.
- susan (4/5): - If only the place looked as nice as the photo on the web page. It is nothing like it. there are weeds every where. Fridge was broken and dinted and not even turned on. TV is as old as I am, very fussy picture, No cutlery or plates, but there is a toaster, 1 blanket on the bed and no more to be found. The bed was like sleeping on a board; I thought that booking a Comfort Inn as I have done before and have never been disappointed. This place is a shocker. and certainly not worth the $140.00 we paid. will not stay there again
- Lisa (6/5): - Internet was terrible - could not connect, even with around six to choose from. In this location, internet connectivity should not be a factor.
I took it on good faith the bathroom was clean. The venue is likely in need of a refresh but even if old, you can still feel if it's clean or not. Something had been removed from the wall (like an airconditioner??) but there was still the fluff/dust left on the wall - clearly not been cleaned.
Small fridge was fine, however whatever blue 'fridge juice' that accumulated overnight on top of my leftovers rended them inedible the next morning.
i would have let the owners know but all three times I went to the office, it was locked (and I was there less than 30 hrs).
Location is good and easy to get to. Not too far for me but an intermediate distance to cafes/groceries.
Proximity to where I needed to be was good, however, won't be staying here again.
- Margaret (6/5): - The carpet tiles were very worn as were the chairs. The microwave looked like it was rusty under the turntable.
- Habiba (6/5): - The room was below expectation. The staff service was good.
- John (8/5): - The hotel was comfortable enough and satisfied my needs with it's location to work.
- mmm (2/5): - Liked the initial service and the 'care' factor but that was merely to get me to accept the negatives which were no hot water, squirting shower heads so everything dry became wet, Mould walls, a door that didn't lock properly and men who came to my room asking for the manager. Uncomfortable and unprofessional and received not even a 1/4 back of money or some free nights. Had to leave first night and take my infant and toddler ekse where.
- Lloyd (6/5): Very dated - Place seemed to be a bit rundown, vinyl on couch was damaged, cupboards to access tea, coffee, kettle etc were hard to open. Though tea and coffee were supplied there were no cups supplied to use to make a cuppa.
On the plus side the bed was comfortable and the shower had great water pressure
- Jocelyn (10/5): - convenient for our visit and easy to exit.
- Noel (2/5): - A quite run down and basic Motel. Outside scruffy. Our room (43) had no electric blankets on the bed nor plates, bowls, cutlery and tea towels etc for self catering. Only one chair was provided for a queen room. The A/C unit was noisy and ineffective, the bathroom fan was dirty and didn’t work at all and the refrigerator was all iced up.
- Greg (6/5): - Old piece of soap in the shower
- Karl (6/5): - Was ok but a bit old and tired and the microwave did not work possibly because it had the wrong glass plate in it that did not revolve?
- Cire (10/5): - It’s quite easy to find and very clean
- Briony (6/5): - Was surprised they requested a $100 security bond to ensure that I didnt smoking/vape in room. They did waiver it when I told them I don't smoke. Appears clean on initial inspection but the light fixture in bathroom was filthy and the oil heater was dusty. Extra blankets during winter would be recommended on the beds.
- Donna (2/5): - When we arrived, the room smelled of smoke. The man in the office gave me air freshener to cover smell, I explained to him that my husband has asthma, air freshener is only covering smell not making the air cleaner. He then agreed to swap to another room.
Room had separate spa room. Cobwebs on ceiling, soot on window from candle that wasn’t cleaned. Bed was old inner spring, woke with sore back. Main shower bathroom was clean though.
Daughters bed was single on double base, not double bed as requested. Fridge not cold and wonky.
Swipe card kept playing up in door.
Pool area overgrown, not kept tidy.
Leaves in doorway of laundry.
No care shown for property at all.
Old and dated.
- Adheem (2/5): - I couldn’t check in and no redound yet just took my money I’m not happy at all as I needed to sty over cold night in my car because I couldn’t check in at the end Igor sick
- kathleen (2/5): - The room was dirty. There was one threadbare cotton blanket on one bed and one grubby synthetic fluffy blanket on the other, despite temperatures below 5degrees. Heater didn't work. Sheets were dirty. Tv doesn't work.
The only spare bedding was a recently sleep on, mascara smudged pillow.
- Darren (8/5): - It’s was very clean and comfortable
- Matthew (8/5): - Nice staff, friendly, good room service. Area near motel is under construction so very loud and rooms are not sound proof.
- Mike (8/5): - Convenient for what we wanted, clean etc. It was a pretty cold night so the main issue was heating. The wall unit wasn't working and a small portable unit took a long time to warm up. Other than that it was OK.
- Melissa (4/5): - It needs some property maintenance
- Kath (2/5): - Old, traffic noise rattling hot water pipes, run down, old towels, bad lighting in bathroom. Unhelpful check in staff member, language barrier. Did have clean sheets and bed was comfy.
- Rodney (8/5): - To hard to access
- Donald Sean (4/5): - Just clean but unmaintained. Walls had paint stripped in certain spots. Carpet squares looked like they had watermarks arounds them. Cheap and reflected it.
- Thomas (2/5): - Q
- Ryszard (4/5): - The manager was very friendly and he let me keep my luggage there before check-in and after check out and was safe and nothing went missing
- Emily (6/5): - Uncomfortable bed.
- Arius50 (2/5): Two night stop for Golf. - If you are prepared to pay and "Rough it" this is the place to stay.
Few comforts - an Ironing Board but no iron, Toaster but no plates or cutlery and no Coat Hangers. Had to go to reception to ask for them.
But to give credit where due, the heater did not work but the Manager got us a portable one.
Fridge had broken pieces and soap holder in shower broken. Rubbish all around the yard, pool a disgrace.
- Cire (2/5): - She was Rude and kicked me out when I got there
- Brandi (6/5): - The property was under renovations, but dirty. When I entered the main office to check in, I was met with being stabbed by a rouge nail sticking out of the trim which caused my to bleed. The receptionist tried to give me to con cans as compensation (maybe?) and I informed him I do not drink soft drink and he simply took the cans and put them back. When I checked into my room, I noticed spider/cob webs all over the ceiling and pictures. There were holes in my blanket and constant drumming noises from outside which made falling asleep difficult. There wasn't any WiFi to use and the TV did not allow for logging in to any streaming platform, there was only free to air TV. Over all the stay was mediocre and not worth the money I spent.
- Noel (2/5): -
Room was small, furniture was worn and stained, smelt of cigarette smoke
- Ann (4/5): - Sad that it has deteriorated so much they appear to be doing a very necessary upgrade.
- cobrasc540 (2/5): Do not stay here - Stayed Nov 2022.
It was terrible. I had made a booking but they didn't have it on their system. I 'think' they only had one room left and were'trying' to help me, but they were mumbling to each other and were very broad in their accent 🥴 I did not have time to look for anything else as I was leaving right away for a function.
I cdnt open curtains as there was no privacy. There was a mattress on top of a wardrobe which had no doors?
The bathroom was the same design as a pic I saw on booking.com but nowhere near to being in the same condition. It was not very clean or professionally presented at all.
I owned a motel (sold recently) and that room would not even rate on the AAA Tourism scale! They would not accept it.
The front garden was overgrown with grass and weeds and not a good look on driving in. If I had had time to find something else I definitely would have. $150 for one person 🥴
No value for money at all.
I would definitely NOT recommend it, especially for families.
Right on a very busy road, but it wasn't noisy.
- Brian (4/5): - No bedside lamps, only the room lights. Only two tv stations in the middle of a city. The bed was atrocious. Every time you moved it made loud noises and several of the inner springs had broken free so when you lay dow you were stabbed by springs. For a no smoking establishment, there were cigarette burns on the furniture. Not a pleasant experience and they have a sign in reception giving incentives for a five star review.
Will not stay again
- michaelwG2753EN (2/5): Do not stay here. - This place takes it to another level! Unfortunately the level is below any place I’ve been in years. Do NOT STAY AT THE COMFORT INN GREENSBOROUGH.
The bed had a leg missing but luckily I was by myself, so managed to balance by sleeping on the side with all its legs.
This a nice touch hidden under the cushion, used electrical tape. GET ME OUT OF HERE!
- Bassdog24 (6/5): Weekend stay - Recently spent two nights here with my wife, Check in was very quick, rooms are dated but clean, & quiet, location handy to main roads, shops, pool on site and free wi fi , overall sufficient place to put your head down .
- Maryse (10/5): - Convenient
- Anthony (8/5): - Room was clean, large and well appointed.
- Jane (4/5): - The property was very tired & tatty. The first room I was given stank of air freshener (I have allergies) so I swapped, it was latter discovered there were 6 air fresheners suspended behind the curtains. It was very noisy from the road with no seal around the door. The only good things I have to say are the sheets were clean and pillows comfortable.
- Santiago (4/5): - It was conveniently located for me. The busy road created a lot of noise. The room was basic but not in good shape and it smelled of cigarette smoke. The sheets were clean and the bathroom seemed clean too. The carpet in the rest of the room looked quite dirty. The room was very dark and there was no lamp on the bedside table. It was ok for a night, but I would not go back.
- Elizabeth (8/5): - Our stay was easy and convenient and we were grateful for such a clean room. The staff could not have been more helpful in accomodating our needs we we appreciate very much.
- OzCulprit (2/5): It's just a bed, it's the pits. - I stayed here about 10 years ago as I had a wedding to attend. 10 years later another wedding to attend over that way and I booked in and stayed again. I have stayed in 3rd world countries with better accommodation. Let me start by saying that some of the other reviews are on the money. First of all the hot water is there, just run the shower for 20 minutes, it will get there. Water pressure? Let's say pressure is not the correct description. Water dripping is a far better description. The Bed was comfy and let me say we had a brick at one end of the bed (no I am not joking), the bed is basically what we paid for. The base of the bed doesn't even have a cover. There is Toaster, Microwave, and a kettle but no cutlery (really strange). The split system is in there, no idea if it works. I am not kidding, the remote control hasn't got English on it, its Chinese symbols. We thought we would get up and have breakfast in the area before we left, surely they couldn't screw that up as well. Alas reception and the eating area don't open to 8.30am. We packed our gear and left and we will never ever return. If I ever have to go over there again I will pay $200 for a taxi or just sleep in my car. Some of the residents look long term and I suggest locking valuables in the boot of your car, the locks on the doors are a joke. I don't know if there is a regulatory authority that overseas accommodation as if there was this place would be deemed unacceptable. There is so called "free wifi" but I couldn't connect to it.It's the pits, if you’re desperate it's just a bed.
- Anne (10/5): - Practical, clean, good for no nonsense accommodation and parking outside room. Had microwave as well as kettle and fridge.
- Steven (2/5): - This would be one of the worst hotels I have stayed in - greeted at reception that appears to link onto restaurant by a cat wandering through.
Bed springs made for woeful night and afore mentioned cat (or a friend of said cat) wallowing all night and cars sitting outside room with lights shining through bathroom window idling Due to not being able to sleep I ended up leaving the property at 4 am as opposed to 6 am as planned.
If you're contemplating booking here, do yourself a favour and look elsewhere - horrid experience.
- MICHAEL JOHN (4/5): - Room was not vey clean It also had power points in places where they should not have been (behind pillows on beds and also behind cupboards. No wifi in room.we were charged top dollar because we could not stay for 8 nights. Ended up paying a lot less for better accomodation elsewhere. Would not recommend staying at the comfort inn Greensborough at Macleod.
- Mishelle (6/5): - We had to keep swapping the batteries from the aircon remote to the tv remote as one set was flat. The pillows were so old they had lumps... I stayed here a few years ago and it was good for a low priced motel, not any more it's terrible now, spend an extra $20 and stay somewhere else!!!!
- Darren (8/5): - Location suited my needs, nice cooked Breaky.
- N9398AOkateb (2/5): DO NOT STAY HERE! - Room smelt of cigarette smoke. Curtains falling off and full of holes. No water came out of the hot tap in the shower, despite complaints to reception or wasn't fixed during a 2 night stay. Tap heads for the bath were removed. Running toilet. Intimidating guests who yelled and swore at each other during the night. Heater didn't work. No crockery or cutlery despite there being a microwave and toaster. Disgusting.
- L5552XHjonathanb (2/5): Business traveller - Room smells of smoke, spa doesn’t work and seems that guests aren’t travellers but a homeless accommodation place. Rooms are not well maintained and unclean don’t stay here. Needs more maintenance and upgrades to carpets, curtains and bathrooms.
- Verified traveler (6/5): - Everything was great just needed more cutlery in room
- Les (10/5): Good motel - The motel was very clean the only thing we found the bed was hard
- l0bbyd (4/5): Rooms need cleaning and maintenance - There needs to be maintenance done on the place. I don't know if it was only our family room, but there was a smoke detector and fridge seal held together with duct tape and a constantly refilling toilet that was pretty noisy. The taps to fill the bath were removed but the spout and the spigots were still there, which is a little dangerous for kids.
The room smelled very strongly of cigarettes and the carpet was really really dirty.
There also appeared to be families living there. All neighbours seemed to be smoking 24/7
WiFi was really weak even though we were very close to the front office and dropped out often.
Didn't seem like any maintenance was done by a professional. Cleaning done on the room seemed to be superficial as we found previous guests items under the bed (Socks, receipts, broken phone cable.)
Pool looked pretty good however the water was too cold (not the motel's fault though) when we went there. We probably missed the best time to use the pool by a month or so.
Staff were pretty good.
The beds themselves were pretty comfortable and clean.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Good close, free parking. Neat, clean room. Wifi signal poor & didn't work inside the room.
