• vincenzo (3/5): You get what you pay for. - Location. Friendly guy at reception. No answer from out of hours phone line. Still no reply 2 days later. The smoke alarm in my room kept beeping, you could hear it from the hallway too so was probably annoying other guests too. I managed to fix, but it was a good job it wasn’t a true emergency as I’d still be waiting for a reply - not good service guys! Also there are signs saying please keep quiet which is great but then put some WD40 on the doors too!

Staff kindly arranged gluten free breakfast items for my celiac son Noisy, showers were not always clean and the water was never more than a trickle and took a long time to get warm, and sometimes stayed cold. Our room was never cleaned in 6 days, towels are tiny and rooms facing the road are very noisy.

Nous avons apprécié notre chambre avec lavabo(pratique), bien aménagée et lit confortable ; les douches et toilettes communes étaient propres ... Bon Petit déjeuner : toast,yaourts,bananes...et également fontaine à eau disponible.

• Gabriella (8/5): Better than expected! Would return! - Bigger rooms than expected - we had plenty of space. Fridge in the room. Sink in the room with a mirror. Comfortable beds Shared toilet and bathrooms were clean. Luggage store for before and after check out which we appreciated. Very friendly staff - we very much enjoyed chatting to them. Cute dog! We wouldn’t hesitate to return. Our stay was better than expected. It’s loud - but it’s Manhattan! Ear plugs are needed at night. The area outside the accommodation isn’t the best. Lots of homeless people but they didn’t bother us and it’s not the accommodations fault.

• Deadria (1/5): Bull shit - Nothing it’s all a lie the rooms are very small people living in their as if it’s a apartment building They have roaches and mice two tiny shower rooms on each floor and a tiny bathroom with just a toilet you can’t even close the bathroom door to use it. That’s how small it is. There is no TV in barely any walking space in the bedroom that you’re staying in. this is a horrible place to send anybody and you need to take it off a Booking.com.. they also wait until you get there to tail you about a $100 deposit fee .. they waited until I got on the bus to go back up where I live to inform me that they wasn’t giving me back my hundred dollar deposit fee because I left my cigarettes in the room and my boyfriend open wound opened up a little bit he was shot. He can’t stop himself from bleeding. He will have the open wound for the rest of his life and I don’t feel like I should be charged for it so yes, I give them a zero and I would like all my money back.

Las habitaciones son pequeñas, muy incómoda, la cama cucheta, y las duchas no tienen presión de agua, los baños demasiados pequeños estaba limpio, y las escaleras son demasiadas, en la publicación no habla de 3 piso x escalera..

• Malaj (10/5): Great stay at the citynest - The apartment was excellent, with a great value for money. I had a very pleasant stay overall. However, the highlight was definitely the staff. The staff member I met was extremely kind and friendly it was truly a pleasure talking with him 🙂

• Doreen (8/5): - Wir hatten ein Zimmer zum Hinterhof, wo es schön ruhig war. Das Bett war sehr bequem. Frühstück vegetarisch und gute gesunde Auswahl. Die Besitzer sind sehr nett und wir hatten tolle Gespräche miteinander. Auch mit anderen Gästen. Die Lage ist einfach perfekt. Jederzeit wieder in New York!❤️ Wir hatten keinen Föhn dabei, ging aber auch so. Vielleicht hätte man auf Nachfrage auch einen bekommen können.

• Lenka (8/5): - Ubytování jsme si vybrali na jednu noc jen kvůli lokalitě a snídani. Lokalita úžasná, pokud chcete trávit čas na Manhattanu nebo třeba se rychle dostat na JFK. Snídaně s užším výběrem, ale velmi kvalitními potravinami, což jsme velmi ocenili. Personál skvělý a ochotný. V pokoji, ale hlavně na toaletách je málo místa.

• Kara (9/5): Best budget stay in the area! - Always a great location for Penn station or close to 28th and 23rd st train or buses… Staff is kind and helpful. Property has updated shower heads with filters and clean easy to access per floor shared facilities. Excellent value.

• Diana (8/5): Excelente hospitalidad - La ubicación del lugar y la hospitalidad de todas las personas que trabajan allí es excelente, en realidad siempre fueron muy amables desde el primer día y pendientes de todo lo que necesitábamos, tiene un muy buen desayuno con alimentos saludables. Estás a 5 minutos de una estación del metro y con muchas conexiones, o caminado puedes llegar a muchos sitios turísticos, la cama bastante cómoda y con poco ruido. A pesar de no tener baño privado, este se comparte con pocas habitaciones, y sin dos por piso, las duchas están separadas, también en la habitación teníamos lavamanos lo que lo hacía muy práctico. Sin duda volveríamos.

• JORDAN (10/5): Great spot especially for solo travelers. - Great location, easy process for checking in and out, room was updated and very clean, owner is a very good dude. Room was small, but I didnt mind since I was solo. Keep in mind this place has small rooms with a shared toilet room and shower room. Shower and small bathroom were both updated and clean. You can tell the owner takes care of this property.

• Sami (8/5): Custo benefício competitivo em Nova York para um hostel. - O preço é muito competitivo para Manhattan, lá é um hostel. A cama é muito confortável. O café da manhã é básico, mas tem tudo que é necessário. Os toilets são muito apertados, em um deles é muito difícil ficar sentado no sanitário confortavelmente.

They even gave me a book as a present after check out 😍 A little small - but this is NYC :) You can hear everything & everyone - but still the place is quiet most of the time, especially during the night

• Niclas (8/5): Trevligt ställe med superbra personal och ägare. - Ligger perfekt om man vill bo nära Penn Station. Ett par hundra meter från bara. Trevlig ägare (Chris) som är hur go som helst att sitta å snacka med vid frukost. Finns lite macka, flingor , kaffe och yoghurt och det räcker för mej. Är ett litet mysigt ställe med 3 trappor upp om man bor högst upp. Skulle gärna bo här igen om vi åker till New York.

Threatened to call ICE on me because I didn’t get off my phone when he demanded as I came to check in around 7.30pm. Refused to check me in had his dog an Alsatian try to intimidate me. Then called a guest to join in mocking me. Was about 70 year old and wouldn’t give me a refund called the police. Told me to sit down then wanted to call the police. • Ana Milena Avendano Paez (8/5): Justo lo necesario para una corta visita a NY - La ubicación es conveniente cerca de la estación del tren y el Madison Square Garden. Las escaleras para entrar son muy pequeñas e incómodas si vas con maleta grande.

• Natalie (6/5): Will stay here again. - I liked how close it was to everything and the fact that there is a 7-11 right next door. Maria gave me a book on my way out and that meant a lot to me. Security is 100% thanks to the German Shepard that is there sometimes. The mattress could have been better.

• Kateřina (6/5): - Lokalita byla skvělá, máte v podstatě všechno při ruce, nebo kousek metrem. Personál byl milý. Pokoj byl malý i když se s tím počítalo. Ve sprše byl strašně malý proud takže trvalo déle než se člověk osprchoval. Bohužel jsme v den odjezdu našli v pokoji dva malé šváby což je velký problém.
