As the name of the place is The Grove Suites, you know that every single room boasts the concepts of suites- meaning large living spaces and not just a simple room. that is my favourite part of the place. my suite was spacious and the interior design was very appealing. the suite comes complete with a living and kitchen area making also very suitable for long stays. My friend who joined me for meals also agrees that the food is really delicious and they have many choices for breakfast. would personally recommend this hotel to friends and family members, as it truly is affordable luxury!

• alee00p (4/5): Disappointing first stay with the cleanliness, and with a series of unfortunate events - One might ask: why is this not a one-star review if you were so disappointed with your stay? Well, let me explain (the pictures speak for themselves). TLDR: Dirty rooms with leftover food and bugs, but there are good people at this hotel. I stayed two nights at The Grove Suites as this hotel was conveniently located to plans that I had involved with a wedding. I was recommended this hotel by my girlfriend’s family and opted for this in my first night. The vibes of this hotel and rooms in my opinion are a bit dated. Nothing inherently wrong with this, and I think price-wise the value of the rooms reflects this accurately. After checking in and going into my first room, I noticed roaches in my bathroom. I notified the front desk and I was promptly moved to a different room. I am glad that most of my things were left at my girlfriend’s apartment, and I was only at this hotel to stay the night, or else I would have serious issues worrying with potential infestation with my luggage. My second room was at 1501. Upon going into the room, it was the same style as my first room (one bedroom suite with a pool view), and the hotel provided refreshments as a an apology for the first room. However, because I was already on edge about the uncleanliness of the first room, I decided to throughly check the room. Upon noticing this room, it was clear that this room had leaky ceilings and roof issues, which damaged the wallpaper and ceiling, which I account as a big misstep in the comfortability of the room. I personally don’t like to be nitpicky like this, but it is important that quality control needs to be kept as this is a very low bar to meet. When inspecting the kitchen, I found food that was left in the cabinets by a previous guest. This disappointed me greatly, as cleanliness for a hotel is the standard that all should be kept no matter what price point or 5 star amenities may be offered. Speaking with the duty manager Deni at the time, unfortunately the hotel was sold out, and the room I had left was the last room. And because I booked with a travel agent, they were unable to refund me for my rooms. I was only offered late checkout, but I found that this was very poor compensation for what I experienced with moving two rooms. Because I was very tired for the night as it was very late, I begrudgingly stayed the nights that I needed to do. At the end of the day, no matter what amenities are offered, all I value is a clean room and this hotel did not deliver on this for my stay. Rooms were a huge setback - how about the breakfast? I decided to get the morning breakfast with my girlfriend. After being seated, I went to the breakfast buffet to get my food. However, after getting my food and going back to my seat, I found that my table that I was given was then seated to other guests. This was basically strike 3. At this point, from the service to the dirty rooms, I was pretty done with this entire hotel, and the breakfast service was the cherry on top. Holding all my food, I went to the waiters to explain to them that I don’t have a table. It was during this time when the Front Office Manager, Ridwan, came to address to me directly, aware of the room situations I had the night prior. He apologized for all the missteps, to which I explained to him that before speaking, I want to have a table so I can have breakfast with my girlfriend since it was given to someone else. Ridwan personally attended to me, and he was very sincere and apologetic for all the missteps, from the uncleanliness of the rooms to the poor breakfast service. (Breakfast was average, nothing to hawk on but nothing to complain). As the hotel was unwilling to provide a refund for me, he offered a complimentary car service to the airport at the end of my stay, and offered other amenities with the hotel. For the rest of my stay, Ridwan personally attended to care for the duration of my stay, from the breakfasts to transportation. I will applaud Ridwan and the rest of the staff for attempting to remedy the situation, although I think not meeting the standard of cleanliness is unacceptable for anyone. If it wasn’t for Ridwan, I think this review would not end the way it is and this would truly be a one-star review. Because of the service and the people, I’ll give the hotel two stars since it is clear the front office staff wants to help their guests. It is very unfortunate because I will be coming to Jakarta (particularly in the Kuningan area) more often in the future, and would like to have a quality hotel that I can reliably come to every time I visit. However, should I stay here again, I would like progress in terms of the processes and steps to maintain a cleanliness across the hotel, as I believe this is the bare standard all hotels should maintain. Considering we’re starting from the bottom, I’ll be looking forward to see how this hotel progresses and the investments made to holding a high standard that a 5-star hotel should be. And if I build the courage to stay here again for my next visit in Jakarta, maybe I’ll be writing a different review

• BabuS196 (8/5): Awesome Location.. Good Hotel.. Just got an unlucky Room.. - I stayed at this hotel for 4 nights and overall had a great experience.. The location is excellent and in my opinion, not heavily affected by Jakarta’s traffic... Getting to and from the hotel was much smoother compared to many other areas.. Kasablanca mall and Kuningan Mall are minutes away via Grab (Depending on the Traffic) Kuningan is nearer There are plenty of food options around especially with a mall if im not wrong right next door.. Within just a 2-minute walk with many good restaurants like Ta Wan, Dapur Solo, Imperial Dim Sum and more. Pricing in the area is also quite reasonable and a cinema beside it. I didn’t get the chance to catch a movie but it’s nice knowing it’s so close... I opted for the hotel’s breakfast package, but personally found it a bit repetitive. The spread was essentially the same for all four mornings, with limited variety though you do get the basics like eggs, rice, noodles, bread, etc etc... As a mee soto enthusiast, I was especially looking forward to that but the soup was never warm enough on all four days, which was disappointing. On the bright side, their bread pudding and Muffins were fantastic.. I had it every day without fail, and on the last day I even went for seconds! As for the room, it was comfortable with a nice view and very good air-conditioning. It came equipped with a fridge, stove and microwave, though I didn’t use them, so I’m not sure how well they work. Room had 2 Smart Tvs to use.. And a table for your lappy as well.. However, the shower and toilet in Room 1212 had some issues. The shower pressure was inconsistent, sometimes okay, sometimes very weak, as if the pump was struggling. Hot water was plentiful, but just lacked power... The toilet bowl switch also malfunctioned twice and needed a technician to fix it. Aside from these issues, everything else was fine. A special shoutout to the room cleaner, Ghushi, who did an excellent job tidying up the room every day. Goodhardworking Chap.. Staff in general were friendly and helpful. I requested a late checkout until 5 PM and was charged 485k IDR, which was slightly more than reasonable as when i communicated earlier before arrival i was told 25%.. but nevertheless didnt wanna debate on it and just paid.. Overall, this is a solid option if you ask me.. especially if you prefer not to travel far and if you dont have to travel for work... I would recommend this place to all..

The room was huge and the view is nice. i got room with smimming pool view. for the breakfast was good and delecious. and also the staff in restaurant was bery helpful as well i will comeback again for sure

• Scenic16557620628 (10/5): Fit the description of budget 5 star hotel - The hotel was wonderful. It wont be your classic high end 5 star but it is still good nevertheless. It is probably the closest thing to 5 star if you dont want to spend 200-300$ a night.

• nauras2014 (10/5): Easy access hotel - Great hotel. Easy access. Would probably be great for business stay. We stayed in executive suit, the room was big. It has its own kitchen and water dispenser. Two smart tvs, one in bedroom and one in the living room. Bedroom and living room/kitchen only separated by wall (no door). The room has bathub with a shower, not great for elderly. Overall good experience would give 4.25/5

Scarsa attenzione ai clienti, servizio alla colazione inesistente, Costretto a richiamare più volte il cameriere per pulire e sistemare il tavolo. Cibo buono. ma ci è stato servito un cappuccino con latte scaduto, cosa imperdonabile. Camera con pulizia molto scarsa, come nel resto dell'hotel. Lavaggio pavimenti non effettuato da molto tempo: macchie di adesivo e di suole di scarpe sul pavimento vicino al letto e di rosso (sangue?) nel piano cucina; polvere, residui e capelli negli angoli. (allego foto) Richiesto per "late check out" di 3 ore, il 25% del costo della camera, dopo 10 giorni di soggiorno.
• aurellelizabeth (10/5): Breakfast like a champion - My mom loves the breakfast here and fyi she’s very rarely to love hotel’s food The quality as well as the taste is very good. For instance : juice. They put exactly the good quality of juices without them mixing it with water like other hotel did. The variaty of the menu is really good job. Bteer to have more stalls and islands than to have many item for the buffet. Also I really love the cheese and nuts selection. Overall the chef and the teams has done a really good job. I’ve seen their passion put in the food and beverage quality here. Keep up the good work y’all… Hats off👍

The location was very good for shopping as it is within few minutes driving to the major shopping malls in Jakarta. Breakfast was good.

• arie438130 (10/5): Good Hotel Near LRT - Stayed here for 1 night. I really love a suite room. Its spacious, with its own kitchenette and living room. There is no issues in the room. Everything work well. The breakfast is good also, it has a various type of food, and all were delicious. Its location is also near LRT Rasuna Said, only 5 minutes walk.

The staff really care about your experience and personalised service - they new my coffee order every morning and made sure my stay was seamless including helping locate services in the city.
• Relax789290 (2/5): Pathetic hotel and regret staying here - Horrible experience. The room allocated to me was not even checked. The shaving mirror was missing in the bathroom and only its stand was there. There was a broken drawer in the shelf next to the bed which I couldn't close and it was stuck. The towels were very dirty and the housekeeping didn't even check whether the supplies have been refilled. Very poorly maintained rooms.

• Scenic39964569891 (10/5): Comfy place and yummy food - The restaurant is big and spacious. Staff are friendly and warm, always a pleasant experience walking in and feeling that warm hospitality. This is not our first time with them, so we know what to expect. The food is always good and the spread is wide and varied. They have something for everyone. We will highly recommend to have the Breakfast option when booking the room

The service was exceptional, with the staff being very friendly and helpful. It was such a great experience to have breakfast here, kind of place I’d love to come back to.
• James (8/5): Good hotel for a good price, but maybe not the best for business travel - Nice hotel with large rooms and access to a market and some small local malls near by. Bed was large and comfortable, staff were friendly and helpful, and overall was a good experience. The hotel is showing its age a little bit, and not really suited for business travel. Its pretty far from where you need to be (though cabs are very cheap) and would have really liked the option for a breakfast that wasn't a mediocre buffet for 22 euros - or at least include it in the price or for a discount for guests. Other business advantages like a business centre, enough hangers in the room, etc were missing
