Guest Reviews
- Gerd (10/5): - Alles sehr gut
- Chung fu (8/5): - Breakfast
- Thomas (10/5): - Nice quiet and friendly.
- Lark (10/5): - Great customer service
- Verified traveler (10/5): Basic rooms at a very good price - Booked a basic room for 2 nights at a great price. The hotel is a bus ride away from Kraków centre. Breakfast was nice, I paid for it one morning. There is an off licence next door for water and snacks. If you know your way around Krakow's transport system and are on a budget- this the hotel for you.
- Carlos Alberto (10/5): - Bom atendimento, eficaz e cordial.
Local tranquilo.
- MR. FADY S. (10/5): - Nice
- Carlos (10/5): - Courtesy
- Pierce (8/5): - Fantastic breakfast at this property. Room was very clean and orderly. Window needs to stay cracked/open for airflow, but street right outside is pretty busy and noisy.
- graham (10/5): - A positive hotel experience. Cleanliness and friendly staff this hotel excelled in both. Providing basic yet excellent accommodation ensuring a comfortable stay without unnecessary frills. For travellers who appreciate simplicity and efficiency in their lodging contributing to enjoyable travel experiences.
- Gerard (8/5): - The breakfast was very good.
Also we had diner: a simple but very tasty meal for a nice budget price.
- Verified traveler (10/5): Very nice hotel - This hotel is very good. The personell are always ready to help. The restaurant has delicious dishes and good price. Everything worked properly in the room. There are many parking spots available. I really liked this hotel and when I am back in Cracow I will stay at this hotel again.
- Halil ibrahim (8/5): Kraków gezisi için tavsiye edebilirim. - Otel, eski şehrin biraz uzağında sessiz bir bolgede fakat kısa bir yürüyüş sonrasında tramvaya(T13 ,T3 ,T24) binerek eski sehre makul bir surede ulaşabiliyorsunuz. Otel temiz ,kahvaltıya biraz eklemeler yapilabilir;mesela meyve hiç yoktu meyve konulmalı.Odada mini buzdolabı olmalı.Cevrede market restaurant vs fazla bir tesis yok.Fakat genel olarak beklentilerimi karşıladı. Fiyat performans tavsiyesi
- Raz (10/5): - Good stuff, quiet room , nice parking
- sandrarK8858FF (10/5): Private villa with pool - This place was amazing . Staff were perfect . 15 walk to centre of playa blanca beach and shod. Central transport hub to Peter to del carmen. Beautifully relaxing place to stay. All types of bars and restaurants and a quick hop over to fuertaventura. Catalan cruise is a must( book with sammy by the Irish anvil.
- Ivan (10/5): - Fantastic! A great hotel conveniently located for the centre by train or bus and close to the sanctuary of the divine mercy. Room was clean, spacious. Will stay here again.
- Stein (8/5): Fint - Topp service og helt greit rom.
Enkelt og billig med trikk til sentrum.
- Martin (10/5): Une nuit à Cracovie - Propre,
Moquette douce,
Très récent !
Personnel professionnel et sympathique.
Prix très correct.
- Jacek (8/5): super pobyt - Bardzo miła obsługa
- Sarah (10/5): - he room was clean and the bed was comfortable. The wifi was in good condition and there was a lift. The hotel is located in a quiet area outside the city centre.
- Verified traveler (8/5): Empfehlenswert !!!
- tonykrakow (10/5): great experience - stayed at this hotel for one week, booked a room with two single beds for me and my daughter our room was very clean and comfortable.... huge pillows...comfortable beds fresh clean towels and if you run out just ask the maid in the morning or reception, shower was lovely and clean with excellent water pressure. had read reviews saying that the receptionists were all miserable not the case when i visited, all were very nice and always had a smile, didn't speak a lot of English but got by using google translator, i always find that when your in a foreign land if you learn a few words ....thank you, please, hello, goodbye etc it goes a long way with hotel staff. i hired a car for our stay and found ample parking on the hotel grounds which is locked at night to gain entry just pull up at the gate and flash your lights and the night porter at reception will open the gate and assist you with parking, he to was very friendly, safe neighbourhood and quiet. bus stop right across the road, all in all a great stay and wouldn't hesitate in using again.
- Ahmed (10/5): Great stay - The room was the most spacious I ever had in an hotel! Public transport is ubiquitous in the vicinity of the hotel.
- Rasmus (8/5): Overall great experience - Great service by hotel staff and 24- hour open reception. Rooms were nicely cleaned at arrival. Local restaurant linked to the hotel has very affordable prices. The hotel is located in an industrial neighborhood, but has 1 km to large shopping mall and approx. 6 km to city main square. Overall the hotel experience was great.
- jitenvaitha (10/5): A nice hotel! - A good hotel, no complains. Great friendly staff, clean rooms, very quiet, great breakfast and food and a good budget hotel in general. The bus station for going to the centre is just a few feet away from the hotel gate. Would definitely recommend this hotel. Enjoyed my stay! :)
- Dariusz (8/5): warty swojej ceny - super !!
God mat i restaurant.
- St (8/5): - Location not so central but city centre can be reached easily by tram (5 to 10 min walk or bus (change) almost in front of the hotel), breakfast is good, staff nice, rooms are also OK, thought, you will maybe hear your neighbor next door ;-) anyway, for me a good location and worth to come back.
- Irena (10/5): Anbefales - God servis ,god mat, reint, veldig hyggelig betjening, stille, rolig område.Anbefales på det sterkeste. Beste av alt -prisen.
- JennynKirri36 (8/5): A great out of town base - We arrived on Sunday evening and stayed for 3 nights. Great basic en suite room with tea/coffee making facilities. Staff all very pleasant and helpful. Restaurant on site serving good Polish food open until 8pm. We were told on arrival that the room was only cleaned on request and the request needs to be made the day before... not a problem for us. Staying out of the centre gave opportunity to see more of the surrounding area, unfortunately we weren’t able to explore more around us as we were not there long enough!!!
- Jie (8/5): - I liked that they were able to check me in hours before the usual check-in schedule. They have maintenance crew but they will leave your room out unless you request them to clean (unlike usual hotels where the cleaners check up every day). My room was spacious, really worked for a week’s stay. My TV didn’t have any English channels though. They have a good restaurant, with very good menu, but they are open until 8pm only. This hotel is so close to a former concentration camp, right in the middle of residential area. But it is outside the city centre. I learned how to use the tram, nearest station was only about 10 mins walk from the hotel. There is also a bus stop right in front of the hotel. Overall, I had a comfortable stay here. I will choose this hotel again if I were to come back to Krakow.
- Verified traveler (10/5): Obiekt warty polecenia - Polecam z czystym sumieniem.
- susanhX1489NQ (10/5): Great stay! - The room itself was very clean and tidy and exactly what we needed, nothing too fancy but very comfortable
The breakfast buffet was excellent and at just 18pln exceptional value.
The staff were very friendly and spoke good English.
Overall it was a really pleasant stay and very handy for buses into town as there is a bus stop right outside the hotel. There's also a little 24hr shop next door.

- Verified traveler (6/5): you get what you pay for - hotel quite a distance from centre. Room basic and no staff entered the room during our stay not even to make the beds. ran out of toilet roll and reception tried to give me a very dirty soiled one.
- Tien (10/5): Clean hotel with friendly and helpful staff - The rooms in the front rows may be exposed to some traffic noise but the one we stayed in the back row was very nice and quiet. The staff especially the lady who checked us in was very friendly and helpful.
- Shelby (10/5): - Can't beat it for the price, clean rooms (only twin beds) and free wifi and friendly staff and good vending machines. Only Polish channels on the TV. I highly recommend for the solo traveler or backpackers.
- Poppi Eve (8/5): Great value for money - So I was apprehensive about the hotel with such mixed reviews, but I'm all about thinking the hotel is just a base. I wanted somewhere my partner and I could stay, ask questions and just use as a place for rest and shower, especially with Krakow being such a city break. The room was basic but very clean and tidy, just everything we needed. Each receptionist was extremely helpful and had plenty of info for us when we asked questions. We didn't eat her as there's so many other places to try.
The only negative I'd say was this hotel is rather far out of the centre, but this did mean we were able to be "proper" tourists and experience the buses and trams, which again the receptionists were more than happy to help with.
- Verified traveler (10/5): Przyjemny pobyt - Rozsądna relacja jakości do ceny.
lokalizacja w spokojnej okolicy a jednocześnie blisko do centrum
- Tag_FD (8/5): Clean budget hotel - It is very basic budget hotel, chosen because was located close to the office. Service staff was very friendly and spoke proper English, room and the hotel itself was very clean. Outside of the room there was a strong smell of kitchen, but inside was fine. Recently renovated bathroom, and standard room without any extras. Breakfast was good for the price, only 8 PLN! Public transport stop just in front. It is a good choice if you are travelling on a low budget.
- Pawel (10/5): Super i POLECAM - Pokój super czysty, wszystko idealnie jak w ofercie, śniadanie wspaniałe, obsługa bez jakichkolwiek zarzutów. POLECAM z ogromną przyjemnością
- Lene (8/5): - Hotel was ok....bus to center just outside the door - 20 min. 3,80 PLN.
Bus 252 from airport to ICE kongresscenter and then bus 169.....about 45 min.
Breakfast was good for the price....
- ren (8/5): Very good value hotel and comfortable basic room - We chose this hotel as it is close to the divine mercy sanctuary, a short taxi ride away and the reception staff rang for taxis for us.
Very nice clean hotel and very good value. Nice staff. Very good value restaurant too.
Personale dell hotel molto disponibili a dare informazioni. Tutto bene.
- LENA (10/5): zeer goed ok met goed openbaar vervoer dichtbij - Zeer goed hotel vlakbij openbaar vervoer, wifi ok,parking ok.
- M (6/5): An okay hotel, but the location is bad. - About 10km from the center. Hotel okay, nothing special.
- Philip (10/5): Very good cheap hotel - This hotel is great value for money, rooms nice and clean also comfortable. The hotel is next to a mini market which sells tickets for the 169 bus to city centre which only takes about 20 minutes. The hotel staff are very friendly and informative, the hotel has a restaurant, breakfast is served as a buffet and is delicious also do lunches until 6pm, then al a carte after 6pm very good choice and scrumptious. All in all I really enjoyed my stay in hotel OPTIMA would definitely stay again and recommend to all considering the hotel.
- Agnieszka (10/5): Polecam - Bardzo przyjemny hotel, sympatyczna obsługa.Czysto i ciepło.
- Linda (6/5): Simple - Average Accommodation Option - The room was very plain but suited us well in terms of having a place to lay our heads after long days touring the area.
- scanti81 (6/5): If you do not need a lot - The hotel is easy to reach because it is in front of a bus stop. The clerks were nice and helpful. The room was not so good: the bed was a bit on the hard side, I had problems sleeping at night because of the noise of the minibar, the power outlets were hard to find, they said they'd have changed the sheets and towels every 3 days but in 4 days they did not.
- Enrico (6/5): If you do not neef much - The hotel is easy to reach because it is in front of a bus stop. The clerks were nice and helpful. The room was not so good: the bed was a bit on the hard side, I had problems sleeping at night because of the noise of the minibar, the power outlets were hard to find, they said they'd have changed the sheets and towels every 3 days but in 4 days they did not.
Pozdrawiamy Robert i Majka ( Szczecin)
- Gavin (10/5): Super hotel - super service ! - We had great service here - even an upgrade to a better room. Very good hotel with good access to bus service into the city. Excellent all round!
- Michael (8/5): Good value - A good value for the price. Quiet, convenient location and comfortable. Only criticism was the lack of an English language TV channel, such as Sky, BBC or CNN.
Czysto, ładny pokój, czysta i ładnie urządzona łazienka z prysznicem. Brak suszarki do włosów.
- helenf50 (8/5): Weeks getaway - Firstly - excuse the messy pictures, we'd already moved in by the time I took them! The hotel was okay, nothing to shout about. We were on the second floor where building work was being finished in the other hotel rooms, I guess you can't complain when we'd all just moan on here about out hotel room being disgusting, right? The room was basic but we only used this as a base. Kettle, toilet, shower, sink, bed, TV. Ah, the TV! English channels available and I'm guessing other languages but it's all dubbed over in polish. Fun game trying to watch CSI and guessing what's going on 😉. The hotel receptionist was helpful enough, not great English but can't complain when you're in another country. The breakfast was dire. Paid 22 ZL for it and ate one thing, safe to say we didn't go again and didn't bother trying lunch and dinner. There's cafes and restaurants to the left and right of the hotel. If you walk out and go left, keep following for roughly 10 minutes and you'll get to the end of the road, turn left again and 2 minutes walk you'll find a beautiful Italian restaurant. This is where we went for dinner. Check and lovely food. The transport is easy from the hotel and there's maps/booklets to help at reception. Very basic hotel but like I said, if you're only using it as a base, you can't really complain 😊
- traveller (6/5): Not bad! - I stayed here with my friend for a week. Hotel staff are pleasent. Everything is in polish, no language translations, so leaflets etc are hard to understand. We stayed on an unfortunate week as there was a polish school trip. The obvious "knock down ginger" was played on our door every second of each night. Minus this (obviously this isn't the hotels fault) our stay was nice. Clean, comfortable beds, plug sockets, kettle, shower, mirror. The Tv only shows polish tv, no other channels. Any English channels were dubbed over with Polish.
- Verified traveler (10/5): Good parking - - Easy uber ride to old town Kraków - and easy parking at hotel
- lindabS5372EF (8/5): Nice clean hotel. - Nice basic hotel. Staff very helpful despite language barrier! If you stay here you will need to get a taxi into the main square - very cheap fare. Nice quiet area but as i say a little isolated from main square. Not really any restaurants or bars within walking distance either. There is a 24hour off licence selling local vodka, beers and soft drinks and snacks but that is all. Would not stay here if we visited again - would book a hotel nearer the main square. And as I have previously read - you have to make your own bed when you arrive!!!!! The pillow is enormous and as hard as rock!!!! But as I say its clean and quiet with friendly helpful staff. Oh and they don't have individual safety deposit box's - they put your valuables into the hotel's main safe & you need to list everything you leave there! Very strange practice!!!
- Rimohit (8/5): "Hotel at a good price" - The hotel is not in the center of Krakow but very close to the highway. To go to the center by car takes about 20-30 min. with traffic jams. The hotel has a private parking lot which is free of charge. The room was basic but clean despite the fact that you have to order a cleaning sevise one day in advance. A renovation was going on during the day and may be this was the reason hot water to come slowly. The breakfast was basic buffet but not poor. The breakfast is not included in room price but you can go to have it and they add it to room. Next to the hotel is a 24h open small shop. Overall a good hotel for good price with free parking and WIFI.
- otthonok2 (2/5): womit, stool stain mattrasses, dirty cups, broken wardrobe, phlegmatic perecpcionist - Mattrasses and rooms stayed in the 80's ...I think never washed after somebody made some womit or stool into the mattrasses in the past 20 years.
We asked for another room..but that was worse than the first....with stool,or womit stain on the bed... with awful smell...
- MickyAllen (8/5): Quiet location - Nice hotel away from the bustle of Krakow. Easy enough to reach by tram no 50 from the Dworzec Tunel stop next to the new railway station and shopping centre, or tram nos 13 and 24 from Stare Miasto. Get off at Kabel and it's a 10 minute walk - from town takes 25 minutes altogether. There's also a fairlty regular bus service stopping right outside - the reception have the times. An all zone pass for the bus and trams is about £13.00 for 7 days. We used the restaurant on arrival on a Saturday, but this closes at 9pm. There's not much around except a 24 hour bottle shop next door and a Chinese takeaway or pizza place just down the road. It would appear that you need to tell reception if you would like your room cleaned and towels changed, but as we were only here for a week we didn't bother
- Martin (8/5): Clean and tidy with friendly staff... - Typical 3* hotel, nice breakfast, though i didn't eat in restaurant at night. Bus stop outside, 184 takes you straight to city centre, 10 min journey..costs about 30pence. Ideal location not to far from city centre
- LIGTravels (6/5): Basic - We stayed here as a couple for 5 nights, the hotel is very, very basic but clean. The walls are thin and there is a lot of noise from outside from about 6am onwards. Rooms are not cleaned and towels are not changed unless you order them a day in advance.
The hotel is also about 7/8km from Krakow center, you can get a bus from right outside which seemed quite regular or we just used uber taxis and it worked out about £2.50 into town.
We used the restaurant for breakfast once and found it to be mostly Polish foods, there is also a pizza shop, Chinese restaurant and supermarket 2 mins down the road.
For what we paid for this hotel I would definitely say it was worth it although i do feel that rooms should be cleaned every 2 or 3 days regardless
- Q575DLfrancescac (6/5): Krakow is a lovely place - Krakow is a Great interesting place The city is very beautiful with many churches and a castle (Wawel) all within walking distance The site of the former Jewish Ghetto and the Schindler factory are all walkable on one of the free walking tours which leave St Marys church in the morning and afternoon from the square
We also visited Auschwitz via a shared small group taxi tour and this was strangely fascinating being the only original concentration camp still standing with original buildings, fences , gates etc
- Jeff (8/5): Reasonable Hotel in a fair residential area - Hotel was OK considering how cheap it was The room was very clean we couldn't fault that and they provided a double bed as requested It had a small but reasonable breakfast area which was fine for a few days
Was a 10 min walk to the tram stop at Kabel by turning right out of hotel, walking down Malborska street to the main road, across the main road and round to the tram stop The tram tickets could be bought at the little shop to the left of the hotel when coming out. They cost 3Zl 80Gr (60 pence) for 40 min ticket which was more than enough to town centre (it took 20/25 mins on tram) You are best to stock up on a few tickets as it is a hassle to try and get on the tram. As soon as you get on the tram you validate it in the yellow machine If you do not you could get a large fine if caught and they do check as we were asked for tickets but had them. Krakow itself is very interesting with many old churches and several Free Guided tours at 10.30am or 3.30 pm meeting at St Marys church in the square We did a couple & they were very informative.
We also got a small group guided tour to Auschwitz and I would highly recommend this as it was a fascinating and sobering experience
- Aleksandrs (10/5): Very good value for money hotel - Very good hotel overall, we only stayed for 1 night as a stopover in Krakow on our way to Budapest. Very good location, safe parking and easy access to the town. Well recommended!
- Fresh Cracka (6/5): Great staff except for one miserable receptionist - Nice hotel and staff except for one heavy receptionist that hates life, and went out of her way to make us feel unwelcome...Did not work.....Other friendly staff made up for her miserable, unprofessional existence.....
- Verified traveler (10/5): the hotel was clean, people very nice. - The hotel was ok. Location was ok.The food in the restaurant was v. good.
- Sally (6/5): Clean, friendly & easy to get to Krakow centre - A friend and I chose to stay here whilst we were visiting the area for a few days. It is a little way out of the town centre but we preferred that as it meant we had to use the trams, buses etc which was a challenge we enjoyed! The breakfast is simple and adequate although you can ask for extra items if you want to.
One word of warning, the bar and restaurant are not open until late so if you want to socialise into the early hours then stay in Krakow and make your way back later. The only thing that put a dampener on it was the coach load of kids who stayed there for one night. Whoever was in charge of them seemed to have very little control and the noise was horrendous. Not the hotels fault, but be aware that this location is used for school trips. How often, I have no idea.
- joyce (8/5): Farther away from town center than advertised - Breakfast was inadequate and choice very limited, reception was very helpful with problems we encountered
- Gintautas (4/5): Primitive - They don't clean room and change towels without special order (a day before). They give only one towel per person (don't forget Your own towels).
Only few TV programs, all in Polish and bad quality picture (no TV if You don't speak Polish).
Poor breakfast (no salad).
- Milla (10/5): Hotel close to shopping centres, town centre. - Convenient excellent public transport to take you around the town, most of all pilgrim places such as The Divine Mercy Basilica and The Sanctuary of Pope John Paul 11. A very beautiful city must be seen.
- Verified traveler (8/5): Excellent value for price - At first we were a bit alarmed by all the earlier reviews about the lack of cleanliness, but as it turns out we had absolutely no issues. The rooms are simple: just beds and a few cupboards. The bathrooms are decent. Considering the price, the overall quality was perfectly adequate.
All the staff we talked with were very helpful and spoke English well enough that we never had language problems. The breakfast selection is basic but it was sufficient for our purposes. The place has its own restaurant, where they prepare simple, but decent food, nothing fancy. The wifi connection worked without a hitch. Connection to the centre was really good, because the bus stop is in front of the place, and 20-minute tickets are enough to take you to Wawel.
The only slight negative was that sometimes there were people loudly partying outside late in the evening. Closing the window was usually enough to lock out the noise though, so it wasn't much of an issue for us.
All in all, we'd gladly stay here again should we visit Krakow in the future!
- Tony (6/5): Very noisy place. - There is no internet connection almost in whole hotel.
And there is not internet connection in all gest rooms.
Many tours of young students occupied the hotel days after days not possible to rest, Noise from 6 am till 11 pm.
You have to ask for cleaning room or change bed, other way you get nothing.
There is not possible to be connected with the word even cells phones have problems to send or receive massages.
Disappointed.
- Steane (10/5): Very good value for money - I booked this hotel through hotels.com, simply because it was the cheapest. I booked 2 rooms a double and a single. Both rooms cost me £15 each per night which I thought was very cheap! After reading some of the reviews on here I was slightly nervous as to what to expect on arrival... We didn't land until late and arrived at the hotel about 10:45pm. We were met by a very nice lady who was very helpful, we were hungry and she was more than happy to help give us directions, a map and bus numbers that would take us to the nearest Mc donalds which turned out to only be a 10 - 15 minute walk away... Throughout the week they were very helpful booking taxis for us and catering to our every need... The hotel is about a 10 - 15 minute taxi ride from the main square depending on the traffic. (try and avoid travelling at rush hour) A metered taxi will cost between 25zl - 35zl during the day and of course depending on the traffic, fares do rise after about 10:30pm... The hotel is situated on the outskirts of Krakow in a very quiet area. Next door to the hotel is a 24hr shop that sells alcohol snacks and various other things, with the Google translate app I was able to communicate very well with them... The hotel provides free wify which was good for catching up with home before bed... The breakfast is continental with a choice of cereals, hams, cheese, spreads and bread it was only 13zl so we had it a few days, tea and coffee is always free! There was a few school trips when we were there and they made a bit of noise but kids will be kids and we were tired from exploring all day everyday so it didn't bother us in the slightest... If your going there expecting the Ritz or a 5 star hotel then this isn't the place for you... I've paid a lot more in England and got a lot lot worse...We literally used the place as a base to sleep at because there was so much to see and do and our time was short (Mon - Fri)... I would 100% stay here again and plan to do so at some point in the future... Take a business card from the hotel to show taxi drivers, many speak English but not all and a quick glance at the card and they were off...
- James (4/5): awful hotel - We stayed in this hotel for five days. Not once were the towels or bed linen changed. In fact a cleaner never appeared in our room for the whole stay. When standing outside the hotel, we were plagued with the local drunks asking for money or cigarettes. On Saturday night we could,nt use the restaurant facilities as they were being used for a private function. On Sunday night we went down for dinner and the restaurant was closed again. The room had a kettle and two teacups but no tea coffee milk or sugar. On the plus side the reception staff were lovely and very helpful. That aside we never use th is hotel again. Ruined our stay.
- wladuszka (4/5): Cheap but unpleasant - Cheap, free secure parking, quiet area, but that's all. The entire place is quite unpleasant, dirty hallways and rooms, stains on the walls, very frayed interior, many things were damaged, including doors, walls, furniture and other eqipment. And the staff was not really friendly.
- TomSpillorr (10/5): Fantastic Value for Money - I booked a room for four people - staying with our two boys 10 and 16 and it seemed the best option. I was a little nervous after reading the previous reviews but found the hotel really clean and the facilities outstanding. Well maintained. Newly refurbished. Good breakfasts. A bathroom and a second toilet en-suite. I had a hire car and so don't know about the public transport links, but from our perspective the room was excellent and the service and general cleanliness and freshness of the hotel was brilliant!
