- Matt (10/5): 10/10 can't wait to come back. - Beautiful cottage, absolutely loved having the fireplace. Great use of the space and well equipped.
Sensational spot for a long weekend in a great rural town. Our daughter was having too much fun she didn't want to come home, this made checking out quite difficult
- Karen (9/5): -
- Iain (9/5): We had a great weekend - Comfortable, cost. Great location. Well appointed just lovely Nothing
- Amanda (10/5): We had an amazing stay, loved the cottage and will be back in the future - It was well equipped, cosy with personal touches No tea towels, or cleaning cloth
- Amie (8/5): We enjoyed our stay - The hosts were very thoughtful. Also reminded me I left my charger there before I left town. The oven and stove did not work.
- Nadia (10/5): - Beautiful little touches added. For example, fires prepped for use, Biscuits and Tea Set on arrival. Cute gardens and Bbq area.
Plus, i left my phone there and the owner drove to meet me and hanf it over. They went above and beyond. A comfy lounge would be nice.
- Patti (9/5): - All was good I found it very confusing...the 2 places...
To what i can gather Mulberry place is family with 4 beds
And behind Mulberry place is another little cottage for a couple ..but what they call it ....I am not sure.
Plus i found the photos confusing mixed of the 2 seperate cottages..and old
Our stay was comfortable..
Winter months would be great as a fireplace .
Summer months very warm as only one air con and no fans.
- RouRouy (9/5): -
- Beverley (9/5): Comfortable, clean, great location with a beautiful and fragrant garden - The location and the garden was lovely Didn’t feel particularly secure, flimsy licks and screens on windows
- Aleisha (10/5): A clean & tidy, comfortable place. We had a lovely stay & will be back. Thanks :) - Being able to bring our dog was a highlight. The fireplace was beautiful during winter nights, plenty of wood supplied. Location was perfect, quiet & close to town. Debbie was very helpful throughout our booking, and we met the cleaner she was lovely too.
- Merilyn (10/5): Beautiful Cottage and Well Located - All the small 'things' were thoughtfully there! Very cosy and welcoming. Single bed was quite hard for my taste. Needed a small fan in the room.
- Ralph (9/5): A great spot for a short stay. - Beautifully presented property in an excellent setting and location. The spiral staircase was challenging for an older person with vertigo.
- Myra (9/5): Mulberry cottage was a perfect place for a stay in Stanthorpe. - Briar Rose Cottages are very pretty, super clean and have everything you need for a relaxed stay in Stanthorpe. Owners provided little extras including good information about the area. We enjoyed sitting on the porch. I am sure it would be nice in winter with the fireplace. It is dog friendly. Nothing
- Benson (9/5): Charming, spacious and pet friendly - Good facilities, well appointed, charming per friendly cottage in Stanthorpe.
- Trent (7/5): Was lovely nice comfortable and relaxing little cottage - Was Close to town and was a nice a quiet little spot was very peaceful Fridge could have been a little bigger
- Claire (10/5): - Beautiful Cottage with lovely ammenities!
- Tania (7/5): Briar Rose is in a great location. - Briar Rose Cottages is in a great location a short drive to most dog friendly attractions. The beds were very comfortable and made for a good night’s sleep. The extra little details made our stay more enjoyable. The property had no fencing so our dog had to be on a leash when he was outside. The cutlery draw was dirty as was the 2 cups on the tray with the herbal teas.
- Vanessa (9/5): - Very comfortable for two single women. Nice walk into town. Lovely gardens and ourlook
- Jan (10/5): The cottage was very comfortable and had a very cosy welcoming feeling. - Well situated and quiet.

- Amy (9/5): -
- Kodie (10/5): -
- denise (10/5): - The location, facilities and special touches were excellent.
- Lisette (10/5): This cottage has it all covered. - Stayed in the 2BR cottage. There are 2 on the property but quite private from each other. Equipped with everything needed, comfortably furnished with sweet little touches like a decanter of port and chocolate biscuits. The fire was burning on arrival with plenty of wood to keep it going. Throughly enjoyed the stay.
- Vicki (10/5): -
- Emily (8/5): Beautiful Stanthorpe stay - Great location very clean and the fire was absolutely beautiful to have this winter. Loved being able to have our two little fur babies with us. Easy check in, lovely little extra touches were appreciated (port and tim- tams)
Lovely outdoor fire pit and seating area in the garden. It would have been more comfortable to have a two-seater lounge rather than two individual tub chairs in the living area. Consideration for wet days, an absorbent mat to step into the studio onto would be ideal.
To have a Wi-Fi network and smart TV would be a great addition.
This has become very standard in most accommodation.
- Kelly (9/5): Birthday long weekend - Convenient location. Puppy friendly and cosy Wished it was fenced as its on s main road
- Rhonda (10/5): Perfect stay. - The cut at little cottage with everything you could possibly need. So many beautiful touches Nothing
- Dredge (10/5): Exceptional - Full kitchen. Quick hot water. Nice little garden to enjoy watching the birds. Price point was good.
- Cameron (10/5): Exceptional -
- Karen (10/5): Exceptional -
- Kylie83 (10/5): Exceptional - Such a sweet cottage and the personal touches and attention to detail were beautiful. Not being clever enough to light a fire.
- Clare (10/5): Lovely and cosy with special touches - Warmth and homeliness
- Beth (8/5): Very good -
- Eugene (10/5): Exceptional - Location wise its right on the southern edge of Stanthorpe but its actually pretty convenient. Probably a 5min drive to the town center itself and its a good location to go around exploring the various wineries around the region. The home itself is well furnished and cosy~ Fireplace was well stocked and kept us really warm throughout~ The only downside I'd say really is that there isn't any wifi available so you'd need to rely on your own data.
- Claire (10/5): Exceptional -
- Bianca (10/5): This is a modern country getaway with all the comforts from home. Close to everything but also close to nature (includin - Location, attention to detail, welcome pack of Tim tams and comfort. Great communication from host. Stove was a bit slow but nothing to complain about.
- Vern (9/5): Superb -
- Cassie (8/5): Very much enjoyed. Would come back. - Location was great. Very close to town. Comfort and warmth was unmatched. Fire in the living room was lovely and heated blanket in the beds. Was never cold. Great size . Enjoyed the old dvds. Reception was awful and without wifi it was really hard to plan what we wanted to do the next day. Would highly suggest adding wifi to improve the stay.
- Chiung-wen (10/5): Exceptional -
- Jane (10/5): I was travelling with my adult daughter. We hope to bring more family members next time!A fabulous stay. - Everything! Surprisingly spacious, beautifully presented, every amenity. The wood fire was on when we arrived - so welcoming. Having a bathroom each was a bonus!
- Kahla (10/5): Exceptional - Beautiful clean comfortable cottage. The fire place was lovely and the little extra touches were great. I received a nice message from the host to make sure we were settled in and all good. Will definitely stay again
- Bill (10/5): Very cosy, comfortable, clean & warm. Would definitely stay at Briar Rose cottages again. - Location was very good, just what we needed. I cannot think of anything I didn't like.
- Gail (10/5): Lovely cosy and convenient cottage - Proximity to town but private Would have just preferred a small sofa instead of two lounge chairs but that’s just a small thing. Was all very comfortable and clean and welcoming
- Christopher (9/5): Wonderful! - Cosy, well-appointed, comfortable getaway within easy striking distance of Stanthorpe and its surrounds. The host was great - very efficient in communication and keen to help. There were lots of thoughtful extras thrown in that helped one feel very much at home.

Would absolutely recommend for couples or a small family to stay to enjoy time in Stanthorpe!
- Suzanne (10/5): Wonderful spot for a family holiday - The location was close to town and handy to the places we wanted to visit. Everything we needed was supplied including firewood, games and books. Attention to detail was brilliant with lovely furnishings and accessories as well as some lovely extras provided by the hosts.
- Robin (8/5): Excellent - Clean lovely
- Liz (10/5): Spoilt, special, luxurious, welcoming, restful - From the minute we entered we were me by so many personal and generous touches to make our stay special; a decanter of port; chocolates; loads of coffee and condiments, firewood….you name it. A beautiful homely paradise - Absolutely nothing
- Leanne (10/5): Exceptional - It was amazing, great location, lots of space for a group of adults and 2 bathrooms. Loved the fire pit!
- Ellie (10/5): Exceptional -
- Rebecca (9/5): Superb -
- Yvonne (10/5): Very enjoyable. - The cottage was cute n cosy. Loved the fire pit outside n the fireplace inside. Shower was wonderful n powerful. We liked the peacefulness. Maybe the spiral staircase n we are in our mid seventies but understand it was necessary.
- Emily (10/5): We had a lovely stay. Everything was very clean and tidy and close to everything. -
- Susan (10/5): 10/10 for a Beautiful little cottage with everything and close to down. - As soon as you pull up you straight away go WOW. Walking in the front door the host had organised a packet of Tim Tams and some Twinings tea bags. The fireplace was fantastic and kept us warm. Everything was clean and tidy. The kitchen was well equiped and was not missing anything. It even had a full-size oven. Upstairs the loft bedroom had a cute little balcony. The bed and pillows were very comfortable. Location was close to down which meant a short run to get supplies.
Extra bonus were the 3 Feijoa trees in the garden which produced some delicious fruit. Can't fault anything. Maybe not having Wifi but that wasn't that bad.
- Paul (9/5): Superb -
- Steph (10/5): Exceptional -
- Sarah (10/5): Exceptional -
- Ivana (10/5): Exceptional -
- Eric (9/5): Superb -

- Duyen (9/5): Cosy stay, perfect for extended families, cottages were so close, but still provided privacy and space when needed. - Cosy, cute and well equipped. Generous amenities and extras (Tim Tams were a nice touch), and Debbie was very responsive to any questions we had during our stay. Kids wished there was WiFi.
- Kerry (10/5): Exceptional - Great location! The timtams were a pleasant surprise... loved the coffee machine! Will definitely stay here again!

- Amanda (8/5): Very good -
- Coleen (10/5): Exceptional - Staff very helpful and courteous.
Accommodation had EVERYTHING you could possibly want plus more. Beautiful welcoming gift.
Modern comfortable furnishings. Multiple outdoor entertaining areas. Books/ games....the accommodation was better than my home😉 Everything was perfect
- Rachael (8/5): Very good -
- Tim (9/5): Superb - House was a great size for a small family, little complimentary gifts were unexpected but excellent. N/A
- Clare (10/5): A clean, comfortable property situated close to the centre of town. - Cleanliness and location The TV has bad quality sound
- Qi (10/5): Exceptional - We had a wonderful stay at this property! The front and back yards are incredibly spacious, offering plenty of room to relax and enjoy. The house is very comfortable, with all the amenities we needed, especially the well-equipped kitchen—it made cooking a breeze. It’s a perfect place for two families or a group of friends to spend some time together. We’re already looking forward to our next visit, hopefully when the weather is nice enough to stargaze in the beautiful backyard!
- Brooke (10/5): Cozy home away from home - Two days in this cottage simply wasn't enough! The cozy vibe as soon as you step through the door just makes you feel right at home. The attention to detail and special touches donned throughout the home by Debbie, from the Tim Tams to the port as well as the use of eco friendly household products, just added another layer onto the stay that we weren't expecting! Even though it was mid-summer it was still a bit chilly for us coming from a few hours North so it was great to be able to use the fireplace with all the materials needed being stocked and ready for use. Debbie made this such an easy and enjoyable stay, have already been recommending to friends and family!
- Pam (8/5): Very enjoyable - Very convenient Perhaps more comfortable chairs
- Laura (10/5): Exceptional - The silky oak cottage was a lovely and well equipped home away from home. It was decked out with thoughtful extra touches and was so cosy. We wish we had move nights to enjoy the amenities.

- Alison (10/5): Wonderful place to visit close to great walks vineyards and pet friendly - Everything about this place was fabulous. The host all had ensured we had everything we needed and the place was very clean and comfortable. Nothing
- Lenny (10/5): A home away from home - Clean, tidy, and comfortable. This cottage has good feng shuei that make us feel relaxed and give us a good night sleep. Love it. No wifi, but that doesn't stop us from enjoying our stay. One toilet cistern a bit leak.
- Jessica (10/5): Quick getaway from the city - Wonderful spot for pure relaxation. Our cottage was beautiful
- Vicky (8/5): Private and relaxing - Lovely verandah very private. Gardens were well maintained and overall our stay was great
The cottage was really well equipped
- Natalie (9/5): Superb - Debbie was very helpful with directions & arrival information. All 3 cottages were very well equipped & included a broad range of amenities. The Tim Tams, tea & port were extra special touches that stood out for us. There was plenty of wood available for the fire pit which we used every night. Of the 3 cottages, Silky Oak was the only cottage that didn't have a vacuum cleaner, broom or dust pan available for tidying up. The air conditioner in this cottage is also ineffective for the loft bedroom which got quite hot during the afternoon so took a while to cool down in the evening & with rain on our last night we couldn't have the windows & balcony doors open as the rain came in.
- Kris (10/5): Welcome home - what a lovely place to stay - This place is the best we have stayed in for a very long time Nothing
- Wesley (10/5): Exceptional -
- Nicola (10/5): Exceptional -
- Katherine (10/5): Beautiful weekend away! Debbie was responsive and the property was gorgeous! Will most definitely be back for a longer s - Gorgeous little cottage inside and out with beautiful surrounds!
- Celestina (10/5): Cosy country stay. - The cottage was cossy and clean. Large back yard and deck that overlooked the neighbouring farm, so very picturesque. Host was very attentive. No wifi.
- Samantha (10/5): Would absolutely recommend and stay again, thank you for having us. - Beautiful cottage and loved the add on touch of the Tim tams and port! This place had thought of everything. Not a huge deal at all, but we realised there wasn’t any salt.
