Guest Reviews
- zohar (2/5): Awful place tourist trap - This hotel treats us guests like we are in Jail. The women manger screams at guests all the time , i think she is mental crazy.
Awful stay at a tourist trap with roud unhelpful hosts that made my stay very bad.
Beware and avoid being treated like waste while we pay them
- Jerry (8/5): - Good location. Friendly staff, bathrooms needed updated shower and shower curtain.
- Bob (6/5): - Proprietor laughed at me when I said no toilet paper in room. Said would have after get back from supper. Lied, didn't have when got back. Laughed again as if he thinks funny. Finally got after I refused to return to room without it. If you like that kind of treatment you will enjoy this place.
- Vanessa (10/5): - I loved this place, the staff were lovely the room was really nice and right by the pool which never had too many people at it.
Location is perfect. Will definitely come again.
- Kirsi (10/5): Veryvery helpful manager family! - Cozy is close from airport, shopping and everything.Very good place to start, or when you are coming back from some islands. And for longer stay in Krabi, of course. Best information and help ever. See You soon!!🙂
- Nancy (8/5): - The pool area was lovely lots of singing birds! There were no hand towels. Three flights with luggage was a bit hot! Hard to understand the proprietors. Air con worked well!
- Soren (10/5): - No
- emmet (8/5): - Family run place, friendly and helpful. Good location, walking distance to many shops, bars, sights, riverside. Enjoyable small swimming pool, be careful in strong sunshine. Nice balcony, good wifi, good shower, comfortable bed. Very enjoyable stay.
- Karl (10/5): - Really enjoyed my stay for 4 nights. Staff are so lovely. I would go again. Good location near to Bars & restaurants.
- Andrea (10/5): - Gute Lage zum Hafen, tolles Frühstück, kleiner toller Pool. Alles was man braucht wurde geboten.
- Ursula (10/5): - It‘s a little gem❣️
- george (8/5): - Friendly staff, clean room, good air con.
- moelle (10/5): Value for money - Definitely one of the best hotels in Krabi town if you want a nice and clean room at a reasonable Price.
The breakfast is outstanding, and the owners try to meet your wishes when possible.
The staff is very kind.
The location is Perfect. even though you are in the Middle of town it is nice and quiet at night.
We have stayed here twice and will come back again.
- kennethj705 (2/5): Never again as long as the owners wife is there - 1. The owners wife was terrible, we have no idea why, but she was really annoying.
2. Breakfast not too good, but you’ll survive it.
3. Started drilling in the next room very late at night. Stopped around 22:00 pm.Crazy….
4. No parasols at the swimming pool and no mattress on the sun beds.
- Chief_Longbong (10/5): Nice - Super friendly and helpful staff. Room was adequate and clean. Same with bathroom. Not too expensive. Staff helped me book a ferry the next morning at a great rate and got transportation to the pier for me. Has a pool which was nice. Would definately stay again!
- Amanda (10/5): Good value hotel - Exceptional value hotel. In quiet location but handy for everything in krabi. Breakfast amazing.owners lovely. Nice pool. Rooms bit dated but fully functional. If in krabi again would stay
- Lene (10/5): Godt hotel - Dejligt sted at bo. God service
Mangler dog en bar ved poolen
- Noriko (10/5): - The owner arranged a transportation to get to our second destination while we could stop by a sightseeing spot on the way. It was very helpful. Their breakfast was very decent and tasty. The hotel is located at the end of the main street and very quiet yet there is a Seven Eleven nearby for convenience.
- Rob (6/5): - The free breakfast was pretty much unedible. Staff seemed indifferent especially one particular maid was outright rude. By far the most unpleasant stay so far after 5 weeks in Thailand.
- Ellen (8/5): - Great location for exploring Krabi town, especially the night market and the river walk. Nice hotel, beds are a little on the hard side but I slept well even though I normally sleep on something closer to a marshmallow.
Be aware that safes in the rooms do not work. If you have items you prefer to put in a safe, it has to go with the desk guy to go in their big safe, and he is not going to necessarily be around the second you want to put stuff in or take stuff out.
Overall a good deal, but definitely don’t put stuff in the safe if you’re going to be in a rush to leave at checkout time.
- Celeste (4/5): - Cozy place had poor staff, the owner was not at the lobby for an hour and we waited in the lobby and almost missed out tour was leaving because we could not put our bags in the room. The towels were poor and the bed had only one blanket. However, the room cleaner was very nice and had a good interactions with her.
- Josef (10/5): - Great location with a very friendly and helpful staff. I made a pre-request to be accommodated in the most quiet room possible, so they put me on the top floor at the end of the hall. Just perfect! I highly recommend this hotel.
- julie (10/5): - My favorite place to stay in Krabi. Very affordable in a great location and a wonderful pool. Super friendly and helpful staff!
- Wolfram (10/5): Gladly again - Located in a quiet residential area, sleeping with the balcony door open is possible. Night markets, shops and plenty of restaurants within walking distance. Very friendly reception by the manager. Large, very clean and well equipped room. Refreshing pool in the courtyard. Breakfast is served for a small fee
- meganmU4565PG (8/5): A night In Krabi Town - We stayed here for one night en route from Ao Nang to Krabi airport. Very close to weekend night market & other amenities such as Mother Marché, restaurants, mall. Host couple was very lovely & so friendly. Excellent pool. Basic rooms with veranda / pool front access. Rooms everything we needed, including safe, AC & wifi. Great value for price.
- lhi1964 (8/5): Nice low budget hotel with a pool just at the outskirts of the town. But very close to everything: night market etc. - A nice medium sized room, with bathroom (toilet/shower/bum gun). Aircon, small fridge and a little balcony. Very relaxed and laidback. Breakfast very bassic but lots of places around to top up. Clean rooms, but a bit worn down. Excelent pool.
- Ulpunen (10/5): Always excellent stay - Keep on coming back here for many years now and always extending my stay. The owner family and staff are so very lovely, friendly and always helpful. All I ever need is right here. Breakfast always delicious! Room spacious and comfy. Spend my days by the lovely pool and as the location is close to everything (but still quiet area)easy walk to shops markets, restaurants etc. Highly recommended to all
- Pertti (8/5): Value for money - Wonderful place to spend few nights before getting to the islands. Great staff and nice pool.
- 186ib (2/5): Unfortunately management lady is so incredibly rude :( Wouldn't recommend to anyone - Unfortunately, I have never met such a rude management as in this hotel.
When I kindly asked the management at reception to charge my phone for few hours (electricity is not working if you are not in the room), she rudely declined and said to leave my phone charging by the entrance door, even though we wanted to leave to explore Krabi. Calmly I told her that I'd prefer to leave it with them, she angrily grabbed my phone from my hands and just dropped it on her desk without putting it to charge.
Then we wanted to have breakfast and they just dropped the toast on our table, and didn't bring us any fruits, even though everyone else had it. It was quite a comical situation as when I asked them about that, they said we had fruits already.
We were also not allowed to dip in the swimming pool at 7:57 PM, even though swimming pool closes at 8 PM. I would be absolutely okay with that, if they would have said it nicely to us, but they were not friendly at all. We were also with swimming suits and towels already, but were not allowed to go in the water even for a minute.
You are not allowed to stay in the property after check out, therefore you will have to carry your luggage with you even though your plane, train, bus is later in the evening.
Bed was very comfortable, and each room clean and had a nice little balcony, it is also centrally located. The cleaning ladies were friendly with others, that I appreciate.
Unfortunately the management is so incredibly rude, that I wouldn't recommend this hotel to others.
- 197dominikad (2/5): Crazy recepctionist - We were with family in this hotel for one day, after that, we wanted to continue our booking room for 2 more days but they had only one room and we wanted 2 rooms. So we decided that half of family people will stay in this hotel and other half will book room in different hotel. When we had a check out then receptionist asked about our luggage. (we left our luggage in family room because we had just one big common bag). When the receptionist noticed that the luggage stayed in family room she became fury, she spilt juice and threw our keys, also she was screaming and wanted to call police. After that we just all changed hotel.
- I7192WVpaulm (2/5): Extremely rude female boss lady - My Thai girlfriend paid for a room for the two of us 2 months ago. They made her pay the full amount of 12,600 baht. When we arrived the rude lady demanded more money now claiming the charge was for only one person. My girlfriend would not pay the extra knowing she was being conned. As a result, from having room 308 we were now given room 301, the worst room in the hotel. On the top floor and the furthest away from the pool. Room 308 was directly above the pool. When our room had not been serviced after 3 days I asked the rude lady if I could have our room cleaned and she told me that because we got it cheap we would only get our room serviced once weekly. I enquired about towels, the single sheet on the bed, toilet paper and rubbish removed and she said only once a week. I told her she does not project the ‘land of smiles’ image and she replied angrily something in Thai. I saw her have another big argument with another European couple. She is in the wrong line of work. Would never come back here ever again.
- 806kristinh (2/5): Horrible boss - This stay became very unpleasant from the first day. The reception staff lied to us on arrival and were very unpolite. The old and noisy aircondition in the room started to leak a lot of water, the boss came to our room very angry and yelled at us for not closing the door (!) and refused to fix it. The reading lamp wasn't working, we were told they should fix it, but no one showed up. It's a few good thing about the hotel, even if it's old and tired, but it drowns in the horrible way they treat their guest. We have stayed here three times before. This was the last attempt.
- 1yee (4/5): Good location but bad customer service especially the lady boss - Besides the good location near to night Market and thara Park, hospitality seems to be worse by the year. The lady boss was all smiley and friendly to foreigners but don't give a damn to us. The room is in need of maintenance.
Workers somehow slightly better.. But somehow the important person at the front counter @ the bosses have made a very bad experience
- Melanie (8/5): - Very happy with our stay. The owner was very friendly and helpful from check in to check out.
A lovely clean hotel and a wonderful pool area to relax and cool down.
Well situated with only a 5 min walk into main street / lake etc.
Breakfast was included. Simple eggs/bacon/toast/fruit but perfect amount to get you through to lunch.
Would definitely return! Thank you for having us!
- Jolmk (10/5): Room is spacious and staff is friendly - The hotel is very convenient and near to Krabi night market. There is 7-11 nearby. Breakfast is fresh and filling. The staffs are all very friendly and advise us where to go for the island trip. I will visit here when I come back next time. Thumbs up!
- danp403 (2/5): DONT BOTHER! SHE IS SOOOO RUDE, TOO MANY RULES! RUDEST PERSON I HAVE EVER DEALT WITH! - Stayed here for a week as it's a good location. The staff were so unaccommodating and rude as hell! Would walk away mid conversation cause they can't be assed to talk to their customers. Got moved multiple times to rooms with bad views and we were on honeymoon but that didn't matter 1 bit. Asked to have some sugar for my coffee as they supply all in one coffee sachets and no extra sugar, 1st thing she said was bring your coffee down here, as if I was going to steal their sugar!! Wtf! Real trust issues here. Also experienced the " your being watched" syndrome they employ here, don't leave your balcony door open for 1 Min if the air con is on! They come straight to your room to have a go at you! Rude as f**k these people. Had a concern and spoke to the lady manager on the phone, just cut me off after saying no. She should not be front of house and deal with customers. Just sit out the back and do paper work. No breakfast for vegans and vegetarians. Just a bit of fruit and toast. Terrible breakfast not worth waking up for. JUST STAY SOMEWHERE ELSE. THEY DONT DESERVE ANY BUSINESS WITH THEIR STINKING ATTITUDE. We were only polite with them but spoke to us as if we killed their dog or something!!! Oh and if you break a plastic chair, not that we did, it's 1500B! That's like £38! Having a joke there 😩😂
- sezzyloulou (8/5): Lovely hotel, but not much to do nearby - Really nice place, staff very friendly, but not much to do nearby.
There is the night market (Fri/sat/sun) which is fun, and the street food is yummy.
Otherwise quiet, breakfast is early, 7-9am, eggs with bacon or sausage, toast and jam, fruit and nice cake made by hotel proprietor !
Pool nice and clean, sunbeds and towels available.
Little else though....music/bar etc.
Did have a lovely stay, but maybe a week is too long.
Local bus takes you to Ao Nang beach ( much more lively) for 50 tb pp one way.
- ioannispanagoulias (6/5): Perfectly simple - Very simple accomondation but still very nice! Comfortable bed and very clean in general. It felt like a guest house as the girl at the reception was very nice and helpful! Simple and comfortable breakfast too. We stayed only for a night but i would easily stay again. Thank you for everything.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - its is a very basic hotel/room,that to that even tea bags are not available in room,so again very basic hotel, yes it is just a corner away to a busy high street,so if need just a room to put ur head for night, that be all.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Good value..Lovely pool..Comfortable bed
- Verified traveler (8/5): -
- Bucky2 (10/5): Nice Hotel close by all the amenities Krabi has to offer, all within walking distance. - Nice comfortable rooms overlooking the swimming pool. Hotel is very clean and well looked after. Friendly informative helpful staff. Many restaurants a few minutes walk from the hotel. Hotel very quiet tucked away at the north end of Main Street. Included breakfast was a little sparse, 2 eggs toast butter and jam, plus coffee. Some fresh fruit would have been nice. Convienant for Krabi Airport and Ferry's to the Islands. Nice clean swimming pool with pool towels and changing rooms by the pool.
- J.Onketphon (10/5): - Internal commutation about my late check in request. During check in there was a security await to service me as well as front office staff. They went beyond my expectation
- Memma3121 (10/5): Fantastic! - This hotel is a fantastic find in the heart of Krabi town. The rooms are big, new, modern and clean. Fridge & water provided.
The swimming pool is the star of the show. It’s not huge, but it’s spotless with sun beds to use. Krabi can be very hot, so the pool really is a big benefit.
Staff are friendly and breakfast is plentiful.
We will be back thanks.
- Verified traveler (8/5): -
- Siv (10/5): Kodikas perhehotelli hyvällä paikalla - Pieni, kiva hotelli hyvällä paikalla Krabin keskustassa. Mukavat sängyt ja tyynyt. Ravintoloita, hierontaa ja 7/11 kivenheiton päässä. Lyhyt kävelymatka joenrantaan sekä keskustan ruokamarkkinoille (Maharaj Soi 10). Rauhallinen ja hiljainen sijainti pienellä sivukujalla. Vajaa puolen tunnin taksimatka lentokentälle, tilasimme hotellin kautta ja maksoi normaalitaksan 350 bahtia (1-2 hlöä). Kiva uima-allas, jonka yhteydessä puhtaat wc:t/suihkut.
- Trine (8/5): Eigrif fnt til et par nætter - Fint hotel helt centralt i Krabi Town. Rene, pæne og velholdte værelser samt poolområde. Ret sløv og uinteresseret personale.
- Harriet (8/5): Nice! - A nice little hotel with an upgraded room. The bed is really hard, but the room is nice. A little worn down, but nice though. A simple breakfast, but it's optional :).
- Paul (10/5): - Hotel close to town centre. Swimming pool was great for cooling off and easy to access from room.
- Verified traveler (10/5): Gutes Preis/Leistungs Verhältnis - Sauber, guter Zustand, freundliches Personal, zentral gelegen, alles wie abgebildet. Motorbike 200 TB.
Was will man mehr!
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Very nice place, quiet but near to everything. Staff was super.
- Carina (10/5): - rekommenderas starkt
- Verified traveler (10/5): Krabi Cozy Place is a great option in Krabi Town - Very nice staff, clean rooms, love that it has a pool which is hard to find in Krabi Town.
- Verified traveler (6/5): - Location good, spent little time there, had a nice looking pool,
- Jimmy (6/5): Krabi Town ** - Turistklass hotell i Krabi Town.
- Natascha (6/5): Hotel in Stadtmitte.
- Verified traveler (10/5): Fräscht och prisvärt - Litet trevligt hotell men fräsch pool och trevlig personal. Mycket prisvärt!
- Nicole (8/5): A nice place to stay for a few nights - We stayed at Krabi Cozy Place before heading to Ao Nang. It is a clean hotel with friendly staff.
The hotel is very close to everything in Krabi Town and walking distance to the night markets which are on a Friday and Saturday night and worth a visit.
Breakfast is delicious and plentiful.
I found the staff very helpful and friendly.
The pool was clean and a good size.
- dany (10/5): Beautiful hotel! I recommend :) - Personal very kind
They did our laundry
The piscine so good
Room big and clean
Near to the restaurants and shopping places
- Kelly (4/5): Staffs ok but owner is very unfriendly. - Room is enough for two people. All the rooms are have a balcony, bathroom is just ok. No hair conditioner no toothbrush no toothpaste you should bring it.
- Guan Song (8/5): - It is very Worst to stay with this room rate. It is a clean and convenient hotel
- Eugene (8/5): - Non hassle checking in and out.
- Verified traveler (6/5): good location - Only stay 1 night in krabi town. Overall, it is great. The location is close to the night market. Only complaint is wifi signal not strong.
- Mature couple (6/5): Good Location and has a pool - Hotel roo m okay, Balcony large.Downside staff very unhelpfully and rude. Breakfast eggs raw or overcooked. Staff would not help us when mini bus was very late eventually said would phone but wanted 50 baht to make a local call to agent. Local bus rip tourist on price if they can. Watch out for Tuk Tuk always rip you off. Do not take anything for granted if you book a boat it maybe a crowed mini bus
- Verified traveler (6/5): nice hotel close to the night markets - the hotel is comfortable and it has swimming pool. I would recommend this hotel.
- Lindsay (8/5): Convenient for a stopover - Hotel is clean and the pool is amazing to beat the heat in the middle of the day. Yes, the front desk staff is a little rude and no, you'll never be allowed to check in early but it's a 5 minute walk from the weekend night market and the songthaew drops off right outside basically to/from Ao Nang and the bus stop. Good soup right at the end of the alley and close to everything.
- Verified traveler (8/5): Nice quiet hotel close to old town - Enjoyed a comfortable stay with good pool facilities and plenty of eats close by
- Renu (2/5): Never stay in this hotel - Bad hotel and service, breakfast was half a cup of burnt coffee and burnt toast, when I asked for more coffee, girl wanted 20 BHT for more coffee. Demand deposit for umbrella. Will not recommend this hotel to anybody.
- Verified traveler (6/5): - I have never seen such bad receptionists!!!!!!!
- Thomas (10/5): May 2015 - Lovely friendly hotel, would definitely return always happy and willing to help :)
- Prithwiraj (6/5): Well located self service hotel - The hotel is perfectly located right around the corner from most of the action. There is, however, no service and the breakfast is a poor toast and coffee served to a schedule administered with military rigidity. Most of the other services available (bikes, taxis, airport drops etc) can be arranged for by the guest in the town at much lower cost. All told however, one must concede that the location of the hotel makes it a reasonable choice.
- Azrrik (8/5): great value hotel - good location and great value. the room was clean and as expected. the pool was nice. breakfast however was weak: three pieces of toast, coffee and fake juice.
- Arik (10/5): AMAZING! - By far my favorite hotel during my trip thus far. The rooms are retrofitted shipping containers but you would never know it from the inside. Very clean and cozy feel! Staff was amazing.. restaurant on site serving tasty food and delicious (real) coffee. Great location off the beaten path which was quite relaxing. Wish we could have stayed longer.
- Verified traveler (10/5): Two thumbs up! - Amazing location with equally amazing and helpful owners. Hands down a great spot to stay!
- Darrel (8/5): Good hotel - Hotel in good quiet location can walk everywhere around town easily. Brekky is 3 slices of toast. Was nice & relaxing sitting on balcony in afternoon with a cool drink! However catch taxi from airport to hotel as local bus will drop u in town & if u don't know town u won't find hotel! If we went to krabi again we would stay at hotel again.
- Jerry (8/5): Cozy is cozy - I've stayed at the Cozy Place on numerous occasions when visiting Krabi Town. It is one of the better lodging choices.
- steven shill (10/5): Comfortable and great location - Very comfortable beds and the best nights sleep i had the entire holiday. Also hotel is very convieniently located in central krabi meaning excellent hassle free links to onward travel and the bars and restaurants of krabi are all in easy reach. would recommend
- Lenka (6/5): Nice stay - I've stayed for one night with my partner. It was a pleasant stay with a lovely pool area, clean room and nice staff.
