- yuhsuan (10/5): 除了大廳櫃檯人員，其他都非常好～！ - 機場巴士門口，不管要走去搭地鐵還是公車也都不遠 這次住的四人房有比想像中在小一點～但是四張床真的太棒的～但是床邊的插座有點少，幾乎集中在一面，充電都要集中在一個房間，廁所的兩個水槽也是超棒～浴缸比平常遇到的還要大～超級寬～適合想泡澡的人 最後就是大廳服務人員，因為我真的一直招不到計程車想要請飯店人員幫忙～他們直接拒絕～說只能幫忙叫機場接送～這個真的必須扣一顆星！！！！！

- Verified traveler (8/5): 空港バス目の前&始発 - 東大門歴史文化公園駅で2号4号線からの場合、遠くなります。最寄りの出口まで5号線のホームを横断して行く必要があります。さらにB3ぐらいから地上まで階段ですので夏は汗がとまりませんでした。 ホテル自体は快適で、掃除もきちんと入ってくれます。 エレベーターは高級ホテルにありがちな、部屋のキーをかざさないとダメなタイプでした。
- Toshiro (8/5): - 7月27日から4人部屋に3泊しました。交通の便が良く、家族4人が宿泊できるところで探しました。5号線、4号線、2号線に駅がありますが、2号線の駅は遠いので、5号線と4号線の駅を使いました。5号線の7番出口が一番近いですが、2回階段を歩きます。ホームから階段で１つ上がったところにエレベーターがあり、たしか地下1階まで上がれますが、そこは改札の外なので、エレベーターに乗る前にＴマネーをタッチする必要があります。これが分かりにくいので、要注意です。7番出口からは5分かからないし、まわりにコンビニも多くあります。5号線の駅が近いので、金浦空港に着いた方は、50分ほどかかりますが、5号線1本で来れるので、この方法をお勧めします。広蔵市場やDDP、忠武路は10分ちょっとで歩けます。部屋はツィンを２つ繋いだような作りで、間に扉があります。21階の部屋だったので、Ｎソウルタワーはきれいに見えました。部屋は広めです。冷房もよくきいてました。バスルームも広めで、シャワーはハンドシャワーと天井からのシャワーの切り替えができます。あとバスローブがあるので、便利です。コンセントは2つの部屋のうちの1つに日本のコンセント2か所とＵＳＢ2か所あります。ただしＵＳＢの方はゆるゆるになっていて、接触が悪く使えませんでした。あと机の下に延長コードがあって韓国のコンセントが2か所あったので、問題はなかったです。1階のフロントにコンセントのプラグが置いてあったと思いますが、持って行っていたので、確認はしていません。ホテルのまわりにも多少飲食店はありましたが、行っていません。あえていえば、朝食のとれる店が少ないかなと思います。10分ほど歩けば、色々あります。全般的には良かったと思います。4人部屋を探されてるならお勧めします。

- AKARI (6/5): - 初めての東大門滞在 仁川空港からのリムジンバスのバス停の目の前 がとてもよかったです 最寄駅は、出口からはそこそこ近いですが、 階段のみ、さらに地下に入ってから特に4号線、2号線はそこそこ歩いたので、スーツケースを持っての移動は不便だと思います。 チェックイン15時より少しはやく到着しましたが、お部屋に入れたので、タイミングよくフライト後に一息つけてよかったです。 日本語が話せるスタッフさんもいましたが常時ではなさそうでした。 お部屋はお掃除とかはされてて、清潔感的にはこのお値段ならまだ良いかなとう印象でした。 USBは挿しても充電できませんでした。 日本の電源プラグもわかりませんでしたが 変換プラグと延長コードを持参したので対応できました。 毎日お水とタオルの交換、掃除ありでよかったです。 ホテルのロビーひwowpassの機械があり便利でした。

- Alma (8/5): - The hotel is located near many hotels in a quiet block in the Dongdaemun neighborhood. We arrived late at night, and after getting our rooms, we asked the reception desk for eating recommendations. The man behind the desk said he didn't know of any. We walked next door to the Ramada Inn Hotel, and even though we were not staying there, the concierge courteously indicated on a map the many restaurants two blocks away. The next day, after failing to get an Uber ride due to high demand, we requested assistance getting a taxi, and again, the reception desk person was unwilling to help. Since this pattern was repeated in other hotels across Corea, including the hotel in Jeju Island, I couldn't tell whether the reception desk staff knew what the neighborhood offered or preferred to feign ignorance to avoid engaging with English-speaking guests.

We stayed on the 14 floor facing main street. Excellent house keeping effort! - Strong and stable aircon in a hot summer, with comfortable beddings and pillows. - Luggage weighing machine available in lobby Negative - Not the best location in our opinion. Have to walk 20-30min to Dongdaemun Market/Nyu Nyu/Doota/Gwangjang Market/2 metro stations with different lines, and these places are too short a distance for taxi ride. Do prepare to walk a lot if you are staying here. - Most of the gentlemen at the front desk were not helpful. They did their job adequately without smile, and you could tell some of them pretended they don't understand English so you will not disturb them further. - Hotel do not book taxi or restaurant for guest. - Hotel will recommend a street nearby for food if you enquire. But it stops there. You will need to checkout individual restaurant yourself. - We didn't have breakfast in the hotel, although we used the public toilet to freshen up while waiting for check-in. Toilet condition was miserable, not the usual hotel standard. We use Google to checkout the restaurants ratings nearby. Had a few really authentic and good ones! Overall good price for a pleasant stay, if you don't need much service and don't mind to walk to the metro stations,

Though, air conditioning needs some improvement. Relaxing ambiance with the hotel’s minimalist design. Reasonable price point for a mid-range hotel. Relatively sanitary and well-organized. Overall, the hotel stay was satisfactory.

The American breakfast was nice, but only as a back up and you are tired and don’t want to venture out. The staff was always pleasant and their English ability decent. The room didn’t have a booklet about where things were located in the hotel and I’m really glad we went out of our way to check out the 21st floor roof garden. Got some great pictures there. Wouldn’t mind staying again

Easy access to all transportaion, most bus to city travel are on the same block. The train is a block away which makes traveling hassel free and pleasurable. If you prefer not to cab, and you shouldn't Seoul mass transit system is clean and efficient. If you need to go to the Incheon Int'l airport, no problem the bus stops right in front of the hotel. No need to wait outside you can wait in the hotel lobby and step out right before arrival time. The concierge speaks Korean, Chinese and English. Free WIFI, even in the lobby no PW required, which is awsome. If you didn't have time to change your currency to Korean Won...no worries they have an exchange ATM in the lobby for your convenience. They also have FREE parking, if you have a rental car or a guest stopping by. Street parking is treacherous in Seoul, so free parkings are a blessing. We stayed in a double bed room, bed was soft and comfy. Bed sheets and comforter was clean, carpet was moderate can use some steam work. For those who like to talk, be considerate sound barrier is moderate. Other amenities, free access to fitness room. You have the view of Nam San Tower, a nice view at night. Dong Dae Mun market is a good walk away, for those who like to shop. Along with Dong Dae Mun History and Culture Park for the culture buffs. As most Seoul has it, your awsesome dining experinces are only walks away. Enjoy!

A washer and dryer are on the same floor as the Fitness Center. The breakfast offered a nice choice of Korean breakfast dishes, coffee and an assortment of pastries and fruit. The airport express bus seems to start from the hotel every half hour, making a few stops at local hotels - very convenient.

- Chriscst0910 (10/5): Relatively new hotel - Clean and cozy especially during winter. Staff are friendly and helpful. They can communicate in English effectively. A supermarket is just next to the hotel where I purchased bottled water and other necessities.The hotel provided free Handy Travel Buddy which was the perfect companion for me to explore Seoul on my own. On the map, the hotel seems near to Dongdaemun History & Cultural Park subway station but it is definitely a quite a long walk there and access is via stairways to the train platform. In my opinion, it is more convenient to commute via buses as the bus-stop is just a few steps away from the hotel. The airport limousine stops directly in front of the hotel which made it even more convenient for those who travel with small children. Overall, Baiton certainly deserves a 5-star rating.

Certainly not worth the 15000 Won PP. Elevators are slow and the " this is the 3rd floor, the doors are opening/ closing" on EVERY floor was annoying .

- cbei (8/5): Great location and great for tourists! - This was my first visit to South Korea and Southeast Asia in general. This hotel was very helpful in so many ways for a newcomer like me. The best part was that they gave our room a smartphone, which we could use on our trip. It worked perfectly for finding places, calling taxis and general communication. The staff speaks good English and are very helpful. They can guide you around the neighbourhood. The room was clean with great amenities. We did not try any of the food services, but they did not look too appealing.

- Jarrod (8/5): Wonderful hotel in the heart of Seoul - The hotel is really close to the subway station (an easy 5-10 minute walk) and it is clearly visible. It is also the most attractive hotel on the strip. We were greeted by friendly and very well-presented staff who honored our request for a non-smoking room with a bath and a view. The hotel is really lovely without being ostentatious. Our room was clean, though a little warm. We turned off the heater but could not cool down the room without opening a window. This was not enough of an issue to justify calling the desk. The bedding was fresh and comfortable - as was the bed, and we appreciated the water in our mini fridge. The WiFi is fast, too. All amenities were to our satisfaction! We had a great view from our room, but we went up to the rooftop garden to watch the New Year’s fireworks. What an incredible, panoramic view! We could watch the display at the new Lotte World Tower, as well as the display over the Hyatt near Itaewon - all without the crowds. Plus: just down the road are several restaurants - we would highly recommend Fortune for excellent Uzbek and Russian cuisine, as well as a fabulous bakery.

We just have to walk about 2 minutes to Tous Le Jours bakery restaurant for our breakfast since our hotel did not include breakfast. The nearest subway to our hotel was exit 6. DPP was just about 10 minutes walk.

- Supani (8/5): Nice hotel with Airport Limousine bus stop - We booked this hotel through hotel.com with attractive price, sure, 3 months advance. One of the reason was the first stop of Airport Limousine bus right in front of the hotel. It is convenient if you have many baggages when you leave Seoul and you spare enough time to Seoul traffic ( about 1.5 - 2 hours). The hotel provides all amenities you need and comfortable bed. Laundry is self service and it's free , but there is no dryer machine. You need to iron and hang them in your room. The room size is just for sleep and rest , don't expect the bigger size, it is in the center of shopping area. Everything are just in walking distance. I wish there is a microwave oven at the lobby , it will be perfect for such a big family like us.
- Boarding_gate123 (8/5): Excellent value - Stayed at Baiton Hotel in May 2017 for six nights in a double room while holidaying in Seoul with my husband. Positives: - Friendly and helpful staff. Their English wasn’t perfect, but they tried hard and we managed to get the help we needed with pointing, drawings and google translate. - Room was clean and fresh with all the amenities we needed (not something you automatically expect in a 3 star hotel). - The toilet was of the Japanese variety with lots of buttons. - There are lots of local restaurants within walking distance. Just head towards the Dongdaemun Design Plaza and you’ll come across the restaurants in all of the alleys. A few had menus in English, most did not. The BBQ places were, however, extremely helpful even with limited English. Similarly, the hotel is within walking distance to the Dongdaemun food market and the metro station. Negatives: - The rooms are not particularly well sound-proofed. You will hear noises from the neighbours and the hallway. Other things to take note of: - The airport bus is relatively convenient as it literally stops right outside the hotel. However, it’s the last stop coming from the airport to the city and the trip, for us, took 1,5 hours with only us and one other passenger. If you’re in a hurry you might want to prefer taxing a taxi instead. - Beware of the 7/11 supermarket across the street from the hotel. The young “gentleman” cashier ruthlessly tried to rip us off (first claimed that the credit card machine was out of order, so we had to pay in cash. Then added an extra 10 000 KRW to the bill and, in addition, gave the wrong change. He did refund us when confronted). Check your receipt and change very carefully! - The hotel has a roof terrace which isn’t really advertised. It does, however, have chairs and a nice view of Seoul and you can take your own drinks along (no bar or service). - Yes, the room is relatively small but still larger than hotel rooms I've stayed at in Japan. We just about managed to open our two large suitcases on the floor without climbing on top of each other. Overall, Baiton Hotel surprised us positively. The hotel presents excellent value with a modern, clean room and bathroom and friendly staff at a relatively good location. Would recommend for those looking for a good 3 star hotel.

- starheart2016 (10/5): Value for money for a 2 years old hotel - First of all, the airport limousine bus 6001 stop right in front of the hotel. It location is next to Dongdaemun H&C Station about 3 mins walk and about 10 mins walk to Dongdaemun shopping district. Although room is small as like most in downtown area generally but it's very well equipped with modern and functional features which are impressive to me. It has multiple power plug with USB port installed on the dressing table; I don't even have to use any my travel adaptors. Lighting & air-condition is good. There is even a bath tub and bidet installed in the bathroom, most surprising items to have in a small 3 stars hotel :) Toiletries & bottled drinking water are replenished daily throughout my five nights stay. It has a nice safe box cleverly installed in the drawer due space constraint. All the staff I have encountered at the reception can communicate in English. It's definitely a hotel worth staying at :)

- USA_mommy (6/5): Okay, but poor service - We stayed for four nights. As others said, the room is very small. The hotel room and public areas are very clean. The biggest downside was poor service at the front desk. One employee, Daniel, was very rude , and another employee was very difficult to communicate with because of poor language ability in English or Mandarin. The staff definitely needs more training.
- Juliana L (4/5): No A/C, the 'hood - Location: near Dongdaemun Plaza and a university. Myeongdong (shoppers paradise) is very near. You can see Namsam Tower from the hotel window. However, the place seems like it's in the lower end of the 'hood. Old, dlapidated buildings/houses in the back. No wonder they won't show the actual picture of the hotel in real time photos. Room: Booked for a triple sharing room. VERY small even to Seoul standards. To walk between beds, you have to walk sideways. No room to put luggages in, especially if you have 3 big luggages. To open our luggages, 2 people have to stay in bed so I can open it on the floor OR haul it up on the bed so people can walk to the bathroom. The bathroom is nice but very small. It's a shower/tub and toilet in the same small room. When we checked in and went to our room, it was HOT and couldn't figure out their temp setting so I called the front desk and he said that "IT'S NOT IN SEASON TO USE THE AIRCONDITIONING UNIT SO WE JUST HAVE TO OPEN OUR WINDOWS" and mind you, it's 2 small holes. It was hot, it was humid and it was stifling! Add that to the smallness of the room and there goes your hotel stay experience. Staff: Very friendly, some with limited english. There was one male staff (during the night) that spoke really good English. But the friendliness and helpfulness of the front desk staff made up for the communication issue. I had to use Google translate at times.
- Juliana L (4/5): No AC because "it's not the season to use it" - How dare they decide when and when not to use the A/C for their customer's comfort? We checked in and it was afternoon and it was HOT and humid and stifling in that small room. Called front desk and was told to just open our windows (which were 2 small holes btw) because it's not the season to use the A/C. IT WAS HOT even when those 2 small holes were opened. The hallway outside is cooler than the room but I cannot leave the door unlocked. Room was very small, no place to put your luggages in. We had the triple sharing room, and to walk between beds, you have to walk sideways. To open one of our luggages, 2 people had to sit and stay in bed so I can rummage the luggage on the floor. OR haul it on the bed so the others can walk past to go the bathroom. Bathroom is nice but also very small, only 1 person can fit it and it's a tub/shower/toilet in the same room.

The services of hotel was great, staff could be communicated in English. Rooms were clean and tidy, with comfortable beds. However, toothbrush and toothpaste were not provided in the room.
- 46krystynah (4/5): No - Let's start with the positives: the rooms were clean and the hotel is near a subway station. That's all. Since this is a 3 star hotel I did not expect much, but I was really disappointed. We were two adult couples traveling together, so we had in total two rooms. When we came in the temperature in the hotel was 28 degrees Celsius. In both rooms. Outside temperature was about 15-20. It was not possible to turn on the AC and the only possibility to cool down the room was to open the tiny windows. This did not help at all. Temperature went down to 27... We checked with the staff but they could not do anything since they are still in the winter season and the central heater is on. Terrible! We did not sleep well because of this. I had especially checked when booking if there was an AC and was shocked to find out the it was not possible to use it. We also found the hotel staff to be very little helpful and informative. All they could do was to show us where the brochures for different attractions were. They did not even bother to recommend anything. We will never stay here again.

Restroom is equipped with a modern state of the art toilet seat. Staff are very friendly Negative : No toothbrush!! I had to go out to buy a set late at night!! Drainage for shower is outside the glass door, thus once you shower, expect the restroom to be wet. Place to hang my bath towel is also the place where the hair dryer is hang. Inside the shower room, no place to put the shampoo n etc.. either you improvise or place it outside. Slippers are not for one time use.

- 887amandaa (10/5): Small but highly efficient - Rooms can be pretty small as per most hotel rooms in Seoul, but for the price i paid, i have no complaints. Its sufficient enough for the 2 of us with 2 huge luggages so it really isn't too bad. The breakfast was a little limited but again, i didn't have to pay extra for it so its good enough! Dongdaemun is within walking distance, abt 15mins? The nearest train station is abt 5mind walk away as well (Dongdaemun culture and historic park, exit 7) just take note tht this exit has NO escalator or lifts coming up to ground level.. So if u are carrying heavy luggage, I'd advice you to think twice.. The area can get slightly quiet after 10pm so do take note if alone.
- 643sunniek (8/5): Great location with airport bus stop in front of hotel - If you are looking for 4 stars hotel, sorry, this is not what you are looking at. However if you are looking for family friendly and good location, then I would recommend Baiton. The hotel provides quadrupled room which similar to two connecting room with a door in between, but there's only one big bathroom with two basins. There are two subway entrances nearby, however I personally like to use the entrance to Euljiro 4-ga station which is closer to Baiton and on your right when you exit the hotel. It takes about less than 5 minutes walk. This subway entrance can also be found in front of another hotel called Ramada Dongdaemun. Further, there is an airport bus stop in front of Baiton which is the starting first stop towards Incheon Airport, so not much worry whether the bus is full or not. The interval of the airport bus is about every 15-20 minute starting from 4:30am.

Security is good. You need a room key to activate the elevator. The fitness gym is poor. It has a dumbbell set. 2 bikes and 2 treadmills in a small room. The laundry room is also in the gym. The hotel location is centralized in Seoul. That's a good thing.
- Verified traveler (8/5): Satisfactory but needs improvement - I am a Korean living outside of Korea and need to travel Korea at least once a month. Baiton was selected because I know the location well and the facilities looked OK. Everything was fine except (1) the lift and (2) the front desk. There are only two lifts which looked not enough for 20 floors hotel. And my wife usually orders some Korean foods through online shop and get them delivered to the hotel where I stay. I haven't never failed to collect them but I failed this time because the hotel didn't give me the notice so I just came back home without collecting it.
- SissiC (10/5): Nice hotel close to the shopping area and transit - Clean, new and good location. Hotel staff are very nice and hard working, they clean the room every day and offer free bottle of water every day. I would definitely come back!
- Kwang (10/5): my stay at Baiton - Great place to stay near DongDaeMoon shoping area and MyongDon shoping area approx 1 mile of walking distances. Very friend staff and house keeping. Breakfast was superior. AC works great. Take warm sleeping cloth.
