- Todd (1/5): - This hotel is closed. I got there it was closed. Booking.com refuses to refund my money Its a closed hotel, booking.com refuses to refund my money. I drove 7 hours and when I got there it was closed.

- Joyce (9/5): Even though I had some trouble with checking in the staff was kind and helpful -
- ANNETTE (1/5): - NOTHING NO BREAKFAST, ICE, IRON, LUGGAGE CART, KEY CARD HAD TO KEEP BEING REPROGRAMMED, WINDOWS WERE ROTTEN AND FRAMES CAME APART WHEN OPENED, HOT WATER IN SINK TOOK FOREVER, NO FITNESS ROOM, NO ELEVATOR, PILLOWS WERE FLAT AND HARD - IT'S A GOOD LOCATION, THE ONLY HOTEL IN PRENTICE BUT OVERALL EXPERIENCE WITH THE PLACE WAS HORRIBLE - GOOD LUCK TO YOU, HOPE YOU CAN GET IT STRAIGHTENED OUT!
- Jim (1/5): Staff seemed poorly trained - Hotel billed my credit card although Booking .com already billed. I have called three times and hotel fails to revund duplicate billing. Please help.
- Robert (6/5): - Did not have breakfast.
- Jeffrey (4/5): - There was no place for dinner and there was no breakfast set up in the morning.
- Mike (9/5): -
- Randy (10/5): -
- Demofreak1310 (8/5): - The staff was very friendly. Very convenient. The beds were not made ery well and there stuff in the bed like the sheets were not changed.
- Daniel (8/5): -
- Sandra (3/5): Should have gone a bit further down the road to find a place with real coffee and a restaurant around. - Plenty of parking - small facility. Close to entrance/exit. The outside entrances did not smell like cigarette smoke or cannabis fortunately. Looked like they did sweep outside occasionally. No coffee in the morning / the desk told me the night before that they had coffee. Yes, there was a coffee pot on a table but not made up already - no water around to make it with. Only powdered creamer….decided to pass and stopped along the road for gas station coffee. Also, the room was not updated and smelled old and funky. Bedspread did not fit properly and was ripped.
- Jeffrey (6/5): -
- Jack (9/5): -
- Jeff (1/5): - The place was very nasty and was closed, couldn’t stay there
- Diane (8/5): - The ice machine didn’t work.
- Regina (1/5): - I was given the run around over the phone and it became very creepy and scamming so did not stay.
- roberto (8/5): -
- Kellie (10/5): -
- Marilyn (6/5): The motel seem relatively clean, however, the furniture, walls, drapes all needed, fixing and updating. The toilets are o - Convenient to visit family It needs a lot of updateS and repairs.
- Carolena (1/5): Never again - There is nothing to like about this place. The sheets had stains on one bed, the other bed had sheets that were so thin in spots you could see through them. The a/c heating system had a horrible smell when the heat turned on. At check in the computer wasn't working. The sink did not have hot water. The side entrance door was near falling off. There was a speed boat parked under the enter way cover. Staff was not friendly. The ice machine does not work. There was an RV next to the side door hook into the hotel electricity. They are claiming we smoked in the room and are charging an extra $259 for that. We assume any smell was from the heater. If there had been another option in that area we would not have stayed there. We have stayed there before and it is under new management every time. We have had issues with billing before. We will never stay again, we will drive the extra 10 to 20 miles for something else.
- Jodi (5/5): Passable - Wasn't allowed on the ground floor with a baby because of electronic issues there was no breakfast included and no coffee facilities working also the ice machine was out of order
For the price we should have at part refund which wasn't offered the hotel was clean and comfortable but was a disappointment having to pay the full price when they didn't receive all the amenities
- Nicole (8/5): Very good - Quiet hotel. Room was clean. Didn't have free breakfast.
Didn't have coffee.
Driveway wasn't plowed after getting snow.
- Donald (8/5): Very good -
- Isaiah (7/5): Good -
- Julia (10/5): Perfect location for my needs. I’ll stay again. -
- Troy (7/5): Good -
- Troy (6/5): Pleasant -
- Troy (5/5): Passable -
- Rebecca (8/5): - Very pleasant staff. Lovely view out the room window
- Edward (7/5): The room was adequate, the bed was comfortable, the breakfast was lacking. - The breakfast was not good. Not much selection. Fortunately, there was a truck stop/restaurant just across the street. The parking was good with plenty of space for the dogs to be walked. I would prefer the higher toilet and mine broke while I was there. I had a hard time communicating with the staff. There was no freshening of the room on a daily basis. It would have been nice to have an outside water faucet.
- Leroy (7/5): Good -
- Peter (1/5): Bad - Nothing there was nothing good about the place Stay at this hotel was the worst hotel I have stayed in with the bug in the window and on the fly strip and all the bugs on the floor. The fact the staff had no idea how to treat consumer please take this hotel off your web site no one should ever stay there. Please enjoy the picture of all the dyed flies on the window.
- Sherri (2/5): Never going back -even if price was cheap - Front desk man tried to be friendly Many things: windows filthy, dead flies on table in room, in window track and stuck on tape on window, no ice, bedding so thin and holes, lumpy pillows, siding falling off, continental brkfst almost nonexistent, gross stains on chairs in room. But bathroom was clean and seemed in good condition.
- David (5/5): Passable -
- James (6/5): Pleasant - The continental breakfast consisted of bagels, bread, and coffee. It was lacking to say the least.
- Mosley (5/5): I only stay here because it's close to my daughter. - It cheap and near my daughter. It's run down. But it's clean staff is nice especially the older man who checks you in.
- Chad (2/5): - Was out in moddle of nowhere nearest place to eat was closed so had to drive 10 milea to nearest restaurant... Cleaning left my door open when finished... Came back from work and stuff was mossing from my room... overall bad experience with that place...
- Jenny (9/5): Superb - Staff was nice More options for breakfast.
- Cindy (2/5): - The room was unexceptable, a chair looked like it was peed on, holes in towels, toilet seat wasn't reall clean, housekeeping terrible, had to wait for tank of toilet to fill before using it again. Ice machine broke, continental breakfast was bread that was reused everyday if no one made toast
- Lisa (6/5): - I’ve stayed here before a couple of years ago and it seems it has gone downhill a little. My door stuck and it was hard to open and close. The curtains were not fully hooked to the rod. Ok place to stay.
- Verified traveler (2/5): Poor poor service - Very poor service. Had to call the hotel from the lobby to get someone to check us in. A person answered from another locating and said they were booked which only 2 other cars were in the parking lot that night. Pillows wi m were paper thin and the window had tape and newspaper stuffed in it to stop air from getting in. Tried to get my reciept before at check out and waited at front desk again for 15 minutes. Worst service I have ever had at a hotel. Not to mention the person didn't speak English so could understand him.
- Brian (3/5): Just don’t do it. - Basically the only place nearby that we could find. Ugh, it’s old, smells old, looks worn out, would never recommend it. We looked at the room before paying, looking for bed bugs & roaches - didn’t find any so we braved it for one night.
- Steven (6/5): Pleasant -
- Austin (10/5): - Easy check in, quiet property
Only small complaint was having to ask for fresh towels after our second day
But other than that it was a good trip
- Kimberly (7/5): OK - The room was large. The shower had super heated water right away.
There were brochures on the table for "things to do" in the area. The first light above the door wasn't working; had to use a phone to find a working switch.
I found a used towel in the bathroom.
Management came at 10:37am to tell us to be out of the room at 10:45 for housekeeping ,even though the posted checkout time is 11am. (We were currently in the process of packing everything up.)
- Sandi (5/5): Passable -
- Rita (2/5): - Upon arrival, the front desk person spoke zero English. I did my check in via Facetime with someone who knows where. They demanded my credit card number for 'incidental'. Even though the room had been paid for. So I had to give it to this person verbally. We had to be back on the road early the next morning, so we were in bed at 8pm. We received a knock on the door from the person who spoke no English and from what I could gather, he wanted into our room to do maintenance. Even though we never called him. He tried to walk past both of in our pajamas until I told him to leave us alone because we were in bed. It is a shame as it is convenient to my hometown when I go back for family visits. But you could not pay me enough to stay there again. I'd rather sleep in my backseat in a Walmart parking lot.
- Lappen (3/5): Our stay was very short. We were very happy with the shower. - The language barrier was awful.
- Marina (9/5): What we needed at a very affordable price. - El recepcionista fue muy atento, volveríamos.
- Jason (9/5): Superb -
- Laura (10/5): - Enjoyed our stay.
- Dave (8/5): Very good -
- Kimberly (7/5): Fine place to stay while hunting - Building was not secure
- Frederick (4/5): - Flies & Asian Beetles in the room. Curtains were falling off the window. Old and not well maintained. The staff was very kind and friendly, but the room should have been half the price for this quality.
- Donna (6/5): Pleasant - The breakfast looked good. The location was an easy find. The man the checked me in was very pleasant. Parking was close to the room. There was a recliner in the room which made it nice. No maid service for the second day I was there. The heat light in the bathroom did not work and a big patch of the ceiling was missing. It would be nice to have a plastic glass in the bathroom but there wasn't any.
- Mardana (2/5): - Our room key didnt work finally after owner came and tried and finally worked got in our room capet had staines all over toilet seat was shot paint was peeling towels were rock hard and the cleanex was so old when i blew my nose it blew apart and to top it off yhe owner was alway stairing at every one and hew chewed tobacco and ever time he would talk it was all over his teeth and it would spit out when he talked waist of money for the location
- Diane (6/5): - The room was spacious and comfortable. The wifi wad not very good. It went in and out. Also when people in the room above us walked around it was quite squeaky and cracking. It wasn`t them jumping around or being unruly. Just sounded like them walking but it was disturbing
- Justin (7/5): Good -
- Ruth (6/5): - The first room we looked at had a window coming apart, no screen, no lock on the window, totally unsafe! We asked for a different room and the owner graciously put us into another room. It had windows that closed, was missing one lock on the window The breakfast was peanut butter and jelly, coffee, and toast. The bathroom fan was terribly noisy. It was quiet for sleeping, in the country.
It was easy to get to, just off Hwy 13 at Prentice. We arrived about 4 p.m. The restaurant across the street, had closed at 2 p.m. so we had to travel several miles for a bite to eat.
The owner was very pleasant.
- Cheryl (8/5): - Don't judge a book by its cover. Our room was clean and the gentlemen at the front desk was very nice. It is very basic and would stay again.
The restaurant across the street (walking distance) was very good it's only open until 2pm. Fridays until 8pm. We had a nice breakfast.
- Janet (8/5): - Friendly and helpful
- Matthew (8/5): - This place was basic, inexpensive and most importantly clean! We would stay here again if passing through the area!
- John (4/5): - Two-night stay and they do not clean your room or give you clean towels or soap or hair products. This motel hell is old and needs major updating! Do yourself a favor and find another motel.
- Brian (8/5): Well Worth the Price! - The room was comfortable. It had a hair dryer, microwave and refrigerator. The breakfast was very limited having bagels, coffee, toast and a few pastry items. I would suggest getting single packets of butter and cream cheese.
I was there mid-week for four nights on business and it was well worth the price for each night.
- Rae (5/5): Passable -
- Patricia (8/5): - Clean, spacious inside. Areas around property weedy and unkept. Friendly and helpful staff
- Wistom (8/5): Very good - Quiet. Good sized room. Strong Wifi. Upholstered chairs stained and room in need of updates. No restaurants nearby.
- Leanne (8/5): - What we needed with few options in the area. Get what you need for the price. nice restaurant across the street. Included breakfast is just oatmeal. Go to diner across street- inexpensive and sooo good
- Edel (8/5): - Ok
- Theresa (10/5): HIGHLY RECOMMEND AmeriVu Inn Prentice, WI - Clean, friendly, overall wonderful experience. Will stay at AmeriVu Inn and Suites Prentice, WI in the near future.
- Mary (8/5): Perfect for snowmobiling - Next to snowmobile trail, gas and diner, clean room and friendly counter host
- Brittany (8/5): - Decent place to lay your head after a day of riding! No frills, but room was clean, shower was hot, and gas/restaurant across the street.
- Keith (5/5): Passable -
- Chris (6/5): Felt like we were a burden while checking in - I rang a bell at the front desk to let someone know I was there ti check in. It took a couple minutes for someone to get to the front desk. Very little conversation and I felt like we were a burden to be there to check in. Room was clean with a Mini fridge and microwave. Our stay was just 1 night, to lay our heads after a long drive to check out the UP and snowmobile trails.
- Verified traveler (6/5): - Carpet had a heavy worn spot. Continental breakfast only offered toast and cold cereal. There was no coffee maker in the room. Heating unit did not work in room.
- Patricia (10/5): - Staff is first rate, room is very clean and huge, never had a huge refrigerator like this in my entire life of staying in motels, huge window with gorgeous view, windows actually open for fresh air. They even did a price match for me. I booked without reading reviews and then saw them later, I don't know why there were bad reviews, it makes no sense to me and my son.
- John (10/5): Exceptional -
- Terry (10/5): it was a great ending to a wonderful trip. - loved the location-large pond on place . can’t think of a thing
- Jared (2/5): - I liked how close it was to the highway. The wifi in my room was <1mbps which was really disappointing for "high speed internet". The free breakfast was toast, oatmeal, and cold cereal. It was super disappointing.
- Kurt (2/5): - No towels and no soap in room. Room temp was 80 and no a/c. Bed felt dirty.
- Terry (5/5): Perfect location for our trip and staff was friendly but, building needs updating. - Location was perfect. The managers were new and very personable. The facilities need updating. The breakfast was very disappointing. Towels were stained and worn. Bathroom ceiling fixture had exposed wiring. Should be covered. Building needs updating. Breakfast was unedible.
- Lydia (8/5): - The gentleman at the desk was friendly and helpful.
It could have been better, but they were full.
The four of us had a great time in Northern Wisconsin. We may be back....
- Colton (2/5): - Room was disgusting. Took several pictures of stains, damages, mold spots, leftover tobacco in garbage, holes in the towels, and bugs. Manager claimed room was clean still.
- Susan (4/5): - Although the staff were very friendly, there was no other pluses about staying at this hotel. The room smellef disgusting (musty), the wallpaper was peeling and toilets did not flush properly in either of the two rooms we rented. I am not that picky but I can honestly say I was afraid to pull the comforter up because it looked like it was from the 70s and hadn’t been washed. Sheets were worn out and the bed and the pillows were like sleeping on a rock. Thank goodness it was only for one night.
- Mary (8/5): Okay customer - It was alright. Took 15 minutes for the clerk to come to the front desk. I had to call so someone knew I was there. Got to the room and there wasn’t any toilet paper and the tv remote was missing. Found it when I went to bed under the blankets.
- Randy (8/5): - Very nice. Clean and quiet.
- Verified traveler (2/5): Poor - Staff was nice. Rooms were big. That's the only positives.
I made a reservation but it took the front desk a bit to find an open room as their computer wasn't accurate. Hotel is "smoke-free" but everything but the room smelled like smoke.
The smoke alarm in our room was beeping, instead of changing the battery they made us completely change rooms.
The clock in the second room was broken. At least they delivered toilet paper. Bedding was disgusting (stains, dirt and hairs). I slept in the recliner (after wiping it down) and covered up with my jacket. Oh, and our heater in our room was broken so, 14° outside, no heat inside and covering up with a jacket. Great. Tub drain was half black. I am in no way a germiphobe, but I couldn't stand this.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - TV package does not have ESPN. Room was clean. Convenient location
- Victor (2/5): - The bathroom had mold at the top of the wall in the bathtub and there were flies all in the room and dead flies in the window seal. There were insects flying around in the middle of the night. Will not stay there again.
- Duane (8/5): - It was clean and staff was friendly. I'd stay here again.
- Verified traveler (2/5): - This hotel smells like a nursing home throughout. I found dead bugs in the bathroom so it obviously wasn’t cleaned well. These people are just out for money, they tried charging me for a stain on the floor because she thought it was alcohol even after I told her it was just water that had been spilled by accident that morning. I highly recommend not staying here. There are plenty of other hotels within 20 minutes of Prentice that probably would have been way better.
- Larry (10/5): - The staff was very polite and accommodating . Quiet location . Very clean. We will stay hear again in the future
- JoeT (6/5): - Stay was ok but not great. Bring your own shampoo and conditioner. They did provide a shampoo and conditioner in one product but only one packet that held about a quarter teaspoon of product.
- Paul (10/5): - This is a decent, quiet hotel - we did not make it for the free breakfast, but the employees made us feel welcome.
- Tami (6/5): Okay stay, slightly disappointed - only stayed one night. it was okay. clean & comfortable.
owners were very nice. only bummer was no breakfast served. According to owner this was due to the COVID regulations. I thought the price was high for being the ONLY patrons& no breakfast available which was not what the sight claimed.
