Excellente cuisine japonaise. - Site magnifique dans la montagne - Onsen agréable - Très propre - Grand calme - Les chambres sont très spartiates (pas de siège, juste une table basse) - Les futons doivent être installés soi-même (self service) - Les futons ne sont pas très confortables (peu épais) - Les onsen sont petits - Alors que le site internet de l'établissement indique qu'une navette (shuttle) peut venir chercher les clients à l'arrêt de bus lors de l'arrivée, l'établissement nous a dit, lorsque nous avons appelé, qu'il n'y avait pas de navette et nous avons dû prendre un taxi pour arriver, à nos frais.

Tem um jardim muito bonito, fica afastada da cidade, boa para descansar das multidões encontradas em outros locais no Japão. Foi uma delicia ficar no balneário e fazer as refeições de kimono. • Veronica (10/5): Relax in montagna e natura - Ryokan molto curato, pulito e l attenzione al cliente è molto alta, staff disponibile e gentile facilità di comunicazione. La posizione è lontana da Kyoto ma vale la pena per scoprire i dintorni con bellissimi templi e camminate tra gli alberi. I pasti sono totalmente in stile giapponese ma hanno sempre una fetta di torta in reception per accontentare anche gli amanti del dolce. Onsen stupendo, in particolare la parte esterna sotto il ciliegio, trasmette lo spirito del posto. Giardino curatissimo insieme al loro cane shiba lascia una sensazione di familiarità e rispetto. Si dorme su tatami in kimono per provare l esperienza (noi abbiamo usato due tatami per rispetto alla nostra schiena !) il bagno in camera permette di avere una totale intimità. Lo shuttle messo a disposizione dallo staff è perfetto per raggiungere la città di Kyoto se si vuole inserire una giornata turistica. Grazie

Le Onsen en lui même est très beau et propre! Les petits déjeuner et le dîner excellent tout ça dans un beau cadre! Expérience dépaysante réussi!! Dormir sur du dur!

• Cara (8/5): - Location surrounded by the woods, nice gardens outside the dining room, fresh and peaceful. Dinner and breakfast space comfortable. Onsen surrounded by the trees is lovely. Onsen only opened at 7-9am in the morning and not again till late afternoon. WiFi almost non-existent and TV only has local channels. Overall the facilities feel quite basic and not the best value for money.

• Christian (9/5): Gorgeous, relaxing stay - The property is in a gorgeous area in the mountains outside of Kyoto. The garden around the property was picturesque, plus they had a dog! The staff was very friendly and helpful - picked up us/dropped us off at the bus station and getting us settled in. The onsen was amazing and faculties were very relaxing. The traditional dinner was plentiful and lovely, as was breakfast. This was a much-needed break from city hotels we'd been staying at during the rest of our visit. We struggled sleeping on the mats - but that is our issue, not a drawback of the property.

• Letizia (8/5): - Mi è piaciuta molto la posizione dell’Onsen (Ohara): immerso nella natura e molto silenzioso. Il personale è stato gentilissimo e la struttura era molto accogliente. Le stanze erano piuttosto piccole, noi eravamo in 5 e con i futon stesi eravamo proprio precisi con lo spazio. Abbiamo dovuto spostare il tavolino per riuscire a starci.
• Moritz (10/5): Entspannung pur - Die Bäder sind unglaublich schön, ebenso die Umgebung. Es lädt zum spazieren und entspannen ein. Die Bäder wechseln täglich morgens und abends wo Frauen und Männer baden. Ich hab es besonders genossen den Sonnenaufgang durch die Bäume zu betrachten während ich im heißen Wasser entspanne. Es kommt der Unterkunft sehr zugute nicht viele Räume zu haben, so ist das Bad nicht zu voll und die Nächte und Morgen ruhig. Das Zimmer war traditionell aber wie neu und gemütlich. Leider ist immer das selbe Bad morgens und abends, so konnte meine Freundin nie den Sonnenaufgang genießen. 🥲

• sanghyun (9/5): 유모토 온센 오하라산소우로 오세요~~ 기분이 업 되네요 - 비싼 료칸은 아니지만 저렴한 가격으로 료칸의 경험을 할 수 있어서 좋았음. 조용하고 한적하고 음식이 좋았음. 된장 베이스의 샤브샤브 느낌인데, 배불리 잘 먹었고 아침 조식도 새로운 경험이어서 좋았음. 시내에서 많이 떨어져 있어서 가는 길이 좀 힘들었음. 버스타면 한번에 가지만 전철을 타고 버스로 갈아타는 방법 추천 합니다.

• Erika (10/5): Espectacular Ryokan en la montaña - Ryokan maravilloso en las montañas de Ohara, darse un baño en pleno otoño viendo el momiji es toda una experiencia. El personal muy amable y atento, algunos sabían alguna palabra en español. Al ser extranjeros nos ayudaron con la preparación de la cena, especial mención al 'magician' ;), no preguntamos su nombre. El desayuno también es típico japonés y muy rico. La habitación es amplia, tiene futones cómodos y un set para el té. Está bastante alejado de kioto, obviamente por su localización, para ir a la ciudad son 10 min andando hasta la estación de Ohara y en bus tiene muchas paradas hasta la estación de demachiyanagi. Recomendable salir con dos horas antes ya que el bus tiene un horario más limitado. Sí pedís taxi desde hotel, debe ser con un día de antelación. No fue problema para nosotros, solo como info.

El onsen en sí también muy buena experiencia. Nuestra habitación era amplia y el futon muy cómodo. El entorno es precioso y el jardín del templo cercano es uno de los sitios más bonitos que he visto. Muy majo el perro también. Propio de estar en mitad del campo, es esperable encontrarse bichos. Fuera había varios pero nos llegamos a encontrar uno en la habitación.

The whole family really enjoyed the experience. Peaceful and quite location. The owners organised a transfer to and from the bus station for us. Everything was great.

• Sujin (9/5): - 직원 분들이 친절하셨습니다. 오하라 정류장에 도착해서 전화를 하니 바로 데리러 나와 주셔서 고마웠습니다. 한명 한명 응대하는데 진심을 다 하는 것이 느껴졌습니다. 온천물도 좋았습니다. 시설 자체의 어쩔 수 없는 문제인 것 같긴 하지만, 객실 방음은 잘 되지 않는 편인 것 같았습니다. 이 점이 개선된다면 더욱 훌륭한 숙소가 될 것 같습니다.

• Grigori (10/5): Fantastica esperienza Ryokan con futon e onsen (anche privato) - Struttura perfetta per fare un'esperienza di ryokan con futon e bagno degli onsen. Abbiamo affittato un onsen privato in cui abbiamo potuto accedere esclusivamente noi 2 per 1 ora. La cena e la colazione sono tipiche giapponesi, molto peculiari, anche se non incontra i gusti europei fa parte dell'esperienza ryokan.
• Kelley (8/5): A ryokan experience even the newest traveler could enjoy. - The food was quite good and the onsen was nice. Outdoor baths are always a bonus for me. The surroundings are gorgeous and a welcome break from the hustle and bustle and packed tourist city Kyoto has become. I wish we had stayed longer. It is not what I was used to for a ryokan. It has been newly updated and didn't have grass tatami (which I love the smell of). It was still very nice and certainly foreigner friendly, but I really love old, creaky wood. There was nothing wrong with the place though.

• Shaina (6/5): A nice get away from the city - The location is great. It's a bit far out, but the area is so beautiful and quiet. Very peaceful. The "onsens" were also great. One inside and two outside. In the fall, the view and air was just perfect for a relaxing time. Staff is also very kind with actually great English. The food was a bit simple, especially for the price. In addition, we had to but bedding out by ourselves. The worst part was that other guests were very loud. There were a lot of older men making loud hacking sounds or talking loudly in the hallways or in the room. They also often closed and opened their doors loudly that shook my room. It was hard to sleep.

• DANIEL (8/5): Ryoka en Ohara - Ryokan a las afuras de Ohara, a unos 15 minutos andando de la parada del autobus. Instalaciones tradicionales en buen estado. Baños compartidos y duermes en futón en la habitación. Los baños calientes exteriores muy bonitos y cuidados. Tanto la cena como el desayuno muy buenos y de caracter tradicional. El personal muy amable y dispuesto a ayudar en todo momento, sobretodo una chica mexjicana muy agradable y simpatica. El precio es un poco alto para lo que es, pero se paga la experiencia y la cercania con Kyoto.
• Rachel (10/5): Gorgeous, peaceful retreat with luxurious onsens - This place is exceptional! First off, the town is gorgeous! so much lush foliage all around. In the fall it is especially pretty. The staff is so attentive and kind. There were so many personal details that felt sooo nice! The rooms were very clean, and I loved getting to wear the traditional clothing around the space. The onsen spaces are GORGEOUS. I found them to be so luxurious and nice. Bathroom facilities in the main part of the hotel, while also shared, were exceptionally clean and comfortable. Dinner and breakfast was fantastic. We really enjoyed meandering the town and there are some cute cafes and restaurants in the area, as well as a small road with little shops closer to the temple. Loved this place and found it so peaceful and relaxing!
