- Paula (8/5): - Easy location, very good restaurant across the street. Town was good to walk my dogs The doggie deposit we paid here was almost twice as much as we paid at other hotels on this trip (Hampton, holiday inn, etc)
- chelsis2021 (2/5): Would stay somewhere else! - Came with family for 2 night stay.
Hot water problems.
Tub draining problems.
House keeping problems.
Would not suggest to stay here at this time, maybe better in peak season.
- Rob (1/5): - It was more expensive than you thought. It was booked wrong and cost more You got everything wrong. Everything!!
- Micki (8/5): The area was beautiful and everyone was very friendly. - The room had just been remodeled and it was very clean. We had a very comfortable bed. We were in walking distance to the café for breakfast. The office was not open until 10 am.
- Kelli (10/5): I would stay there again - The room was clean and it had everything i needed. I didn't use the free wifi so that's why I couldn't rate it. The towels were a little scratchy.
- John (10/5): -
- Koepfer (9/5): -
- Kristina (4/5): Very disappointing since it was booked early. Price was way too high. - Location was close to Grand Tetons.
Cowboy Cafe was next door and offered good food. Toilet was very low in bathroom
Very overpriced from original booking. Would not recommend or stay here again. No breakfast provided.
- Jose (10/5): -
- Patricia (4/5): Glad it was One night Only - The person that checked us in was very sweet Upon opening the door to the room, the smell was stale and did not reflect a "clean" room. The chair was stained and the decorative pillows on the bed were stained. I was grateful for the cleaning products I packed. I used Lysol and bleach free Clorox wipes to clean all surfaces in the room. We opened windows and turned on the A/C to get a cleaner fresher smell in the room
- Keith (5/5): -
- james (10/5): Really enjoyed the location and the stay. We could’ve stayed longer, but we was on our way to anothe - No breakfast. They just had coffee. However, planning places to eat in walking distance. All good
- Karl (4/5): It was a place to sleep. - Noisy air conditioner, uncomfortable bed, no breakfast.
- Lisa (10/5): - It was the perfect place to stay while visiting Yellowstone. Because of the full kitchen we were able to make breakfast there every morning before we ventured out. The 2 bedrooms accommodated our whole family! Would definitely stay again!
- james (7/5): Would return when in area. - Ben there before and just as expected. Very Clean!!!!
- Patricia (9/5): -
- Duane (9/5): Room was perfect for our trip to the grand tetons - Was traveling late and showed up after the office closed and had called ahead so our room keys were provided so we could get into our room after the office had closed.
- Samuel (1/5): Over all poor - The location The room need up dated. More deeper clean
Last morning no hot water
- Jeffrey (8/5): -
- Bonnie (7/5): Our stay was good, other than inconsiderate people in the room above us. - Room was very clean. The room had ample space. Bed was fairly comfortable. Not the hotels fault but the people above us had loud music playing, which we could hear in our room.
- Dave (5/5): Okay - No breakfast! The sink in bathroom didn’t drain didn’t like the parking
- Layne (8/5): -
- Richard (6/5): - We had breakfast at the Cowboy Cafe next door. None included with the room. The door needed new weather striping. We had to stuff a face cloth in the crack. The bathroom had a heater on the wall next to the toilet with the knob broken off. Very easy to cut your leg on it.
- Kenneth (9/5): Overall, stay was good. - I would rate it a nine Too many smokers outside the rooms
- Kevin (7/5): It was good - Parking Outdated
- Harold (10/5): Awesome motel and will stay here again every time. - The king bed room was was awesome! Bed very comfortable, heating/AC was perfect and easy to adjust. Very clean, very quiet, perfect location. The front staff guy was great, the whole stay was top notch and I added more nights to my stay. Not a thing
- Edith (8/5): - clean nothing
- Erica (10/5): -
- Jim (8/5): -
- Jan (7/5): - Das WC hatte lediglich „Kindergrösse“.
Leider keine Frühstücksmöglichkeit.
- Leslie (7/5): Good place to stay. - It was clean and presentable. Parking was narrow, toilet continually ran unless tinkered with.
- Vrenda (10/5): - Great place to stay. Just wish they would give us the password to the wifi. When I tried to call the office, no one picked up.
- Dean (10/5): -
- Jane (8/5): - Facilities were ok. We just needed a bed.
- Lynne (5/5): - TV WAS SHIT
- Daveka (8/5): -
- Tracey (10/5): - Hotel was in a great location for eateries. The hot tub was fabulous!
- Ken (6/5): - Reasonably priced given the location in a cowboy tourist town. No elevator. More than adequate room (more of a suite) on the second floor.
- Tracy (6/5): - This property has such potential to be charming but it falls very short. It’s not well maintained or updated. Luckily, we only needed an overnight stay because we would not have wanted to stay longer.
- Allie (8/5): -
- Cheryl (8/5): - The night Clerk was extremely helpful in giving us a room on the bottom floor.
- Dennis (4/5): A disappointment - Expensive room and no breakfast!
- Marne (8/5): - Property was right downtown, walking distance to restaurants and shops. A fun play area for children, lots of grass and a creek running behind the property with picnic area.
- Deann (6/5): - Room was in good condition but the hot water in bathroom was sooo hot that it almost burned the skin. Also heard a continuous sound of what sounded like water running but couldn't figure out where it was coming from. We were going to report on checkout but the office didn't open until 10am and we left at 9am.
- Phillips (10/5): -
- Grace (8/5): - Good location. Easy walk to shops and restaurants. Accommodation was acceptable.
- Thelma (10/5): - Very very nice. Only drawbacks were I was not given WiFi password at check-in and no one answered phone as instructed in welcome book and pet price wasn't made known when reserving room.
- Angela (10/5): - A little dated
- Trey (10/5): - Walking distance to everything.
- Mary (8/5): - Suited our needs.
- Yoisman (6/5): Good location, close to things - Nothing fancy, location is good
- Sandy208 (10/5): I'd Ride to the Stagecoach Inn Any Day! - Great place to stay! I would have loved it if they'd had a breakfast available, but we could live without it. The room was so well appointed and spacious, and since we were there for two nights, we appreciated it. Everything worked, which is often not the case at all, and the staff was very helpful, even asking us after our first day if we needed more towels. The back yard was right by the river and had a grill and covered picnic tables and was delightful. Such a nice thing to provide. Dubois is a fun little town and I would definitely come back to the Stagecoach Inn and stay again. I loved that you could walk all over town from there, and their sign at the end of their driveway was very funny. So clever!
- Bernie (4/5): Poor experience - Terrible check in. Could not find my booking with name, phone number or confirmation number. Difference was first name. Embarrassed in front of 6 people behind me. Staff person apologized a few times to the people in line but not once to me. Property description states restaurant attached and that is not true. Following morning the office does not open till 10 am so had to leave before I could ask questions. Noisy night with tv from neighboring room till 1 am.
- Filippo (6/5): Decent overall, but uncomfortable - Basic motel, relatively clean, good location in Dubois. However, mattresses and pillows are very worn and the definition of uncomfortable, and the HVAC system ranks among the loudest. For a one night stay on the way, why not, but you may not sleep well--I sure did not.
- william (4/5): - 1) The Queen bed we were promised was Double size so I slept on the floor. (My wife is a light sleeper.)
2) The staff member we interacted with was cold and unhelpful.
- GERALD (8/5): - Clean, friendly staff & nice laundry facilities. Walking distance to restaurants. Dated & poor outlets for charging stations. WRight
- Thomas (10/5): - Check in was easy the beds and room comfortable.
- Pam (4/5): Unfavorable - Room was clean Very dated and run down looking
- Kevin (8/5): Difficult check in - Stagecoach Inn claimed they did not have a reservation for us. I did show them the Hotels.com email confirmation but still they did not "see" it in their system. We were told they did have a room available but for $100 more than the price we booked through Hotels.com. My husband was able to get into the Hotels.com system and found the reservation # and suddenly the front desk person found it in their system as well. Check in was very stressful. I really don't know if they were trying to scam us but beware!
- Theresa (10/5): - Very clean room; nice staff & walking distance to restaurants!
- Robert (10/5): - Fantastic! We had a great stay and had everything we needed. The room was large and comfortable and exceptionally nice. I’d definitely stay there again!
- Robert (10/5): - It was a fantastic stay. The room had everything we needed and was a great size. I think the motel is very well run and we were even asked on day two if we needed more towels. We felt taken care of and would definitely come again.
- Rodney (10/5): - The room was recently renovated and very spacious. Couldn't ask for anything more especially for the price!! Highly recommend!!
- Frank (9/5): Travel to Yellowstone - Traveling to Yellowstone. Great spot, easy to find, lots of local eateries, clean and comfortable.
- Altena (8/5): The room was clean and comfortable. Walking distance to resteraunts and shopping! -
- Mike (10/5): -
- Angeline (8/5): Nice but drive slow - Nice place to stay for the price, but if you plan on visiting the Tetons it’s a good hours drive, the town has plenty of places to eat and very safe. Just a word if caution when driving through town, the speed limit goes from 70 to 45 to 30 in a short distance and they love giving tickets, there has been many postings of this going on in Dubois. Just slow down
- ericad265 (6/5): Perfectly Fine for the Area - We stayed here to be close to tourism in the area. The location is top-notch, with access to everything downtown has to offer. Parking can be tight, but we had no problem. We did not experience any issues with noise. The room could have been cleaner and the shower broke in the morning, which was a bit of a pain. But for the price and location, it wasn't bad at all. Do check the windows - love that you can get fresh air! But one of ours was unlocked.
- Cynthia (10/5): - Nice clean place. The rooms are very spacious and clean.
- Casey (4/5): - The property was full so we ended up with a room with a kitchenette. The cabinets in the kitchen were falling apart. The linoleum in the kitchen looked dirty. Our toilet barely flushed. I asked to have it looked at, didn’t see any difference. The shower was awful. Maybe the regular rooms have been remodeled? Our room was terrible!
- Alan (8/5): Western kitsch! - Pretty standard 2 star hotel. But was clean and everything in good shape. Firm mattress. Coffee shop and several restaurants w/i walking distance. It's western kitsch, but let's face it, that's the areas clientele for the most part.
- charles (10/5): - This is a real nice property. It is clean and in good repair. Nice room layout. It has everything that the big chain hotels have except a boaring breakfast. And better yet there are several really nice restaurants nearby that the chain hotels can't touch. And best of all, i forget my ipad in the room, and before i got 10 miles out of town, I got a phone call.
- Paul (8/5): - A clogged drain was dealt with quickly, but requested housecleaning during a 4 day stay never happened.
- Jordan (10/5): -
- Diane (8/5): -
- Joanne (4/5): - New owners who don't know how to run resort. Had to ask for towels every day but one. The never came and clean room or make beds. After finally getting angry someone finally came to our room on the last night after ^ at night asking if we need towels and room cleaned. We reused since we had gotten towel earlier that day after complaining.
- Robert (4/5): - Bathtub and sink dirty on check in. Hskp does not clean only disinfect.
- Karen (6/5): This place used to be great - Room reeked of cleaning product. Air conditioner was noisy. The shower stopped when the one next door was turned on.
- Mary (9/5): Dubois stay - The rooms are comfortable and spacious. You can walk where ever you want to go because it is in the middle of downtown. There is a nice area behind the place by the river. The staff help with anything needed.
- Cade (2/5): - Facilities not very clean bath plumbing not correctly installed tub not safe water constantly running light couldn’t b turned on w/o fan which ran so loudly couldn’t even b tolerated with light on, vanity non existent beds uncomfortable
- Donna (6/5): - Room was clean, but pillows were not comfortable.
- Louise (6/5): - I was actually impressed with this motel. I am always leery of a motel. That’s not a chain! But the room was very spacious was clean and was very up-to-date. I would recommend staying here. Of course it’s not like a chain motel. It doesn’t have any amenities such as breakfast But all in all is a really nice motel. The person at the front desk was a foreigner so I had a hard time understanding, which is why I did not give a high rating for check-in. But then again that could just be my issue! He was not overly friendly or polite. Other than that would highly recommend this motel.
- Bruce (10/5): - Had a great stay. Staff was very friendly.
- Jerry (8/5): - It was good. Beds were really hard.
- Stephen (6/5): - Quaint Roadside motel, conveniently located in town. easy walk to dinner and shopping of this nice town of 900. It has decent sized rooms, nice king size bed (in our room).
The power went out about 9 am and no one to assist as the office was closed and not reopening til 10. No one there to assist between 10 and 10. the power did return after 20 minutes. its quaint, great location, nice town.
- Leonard (3/5): Hot water ran out fast - management probably knows it’d a problem but hasn’t fixed it. - Great location. The hot water ran out very quickly when we tried to take showers. We waited 15-20 minutes for it to warm back up again but the heat still wouldnt last long enough for a full shower. We called the front desk about the problem and we were told by the manager that that he would have someone go check on the hot water heater, but it never improved.
Once this started, we looked online and found a bunch of other reviews for this same hotel listing the same problem.
The following morning, while we packed up the car, the manager came and asked me if the hot water ever improved. I told him it never did… and then he just stared at me for like 5 seconds - felt longer. When he did finally speak, he said that he had sent his boy someone to look at the hot water heater the night night before (which may be true), bit he was saying it like that somehow disproved what I was saying. The way he was staring and the incredulity he was trying to portray, it was like he was trying to convince me I was wrong. I just reiterated that the hot water never improved but that otherwise our stay was fine and then I returned to packing the car.
Anyway, bad service, weird vibes, would not recommend.
- Mary and Douglas (10/5): Enjoyable. - It was a nice surprise--the rooms were clean and easily accessible to downtown.Loved the laundry facilities-Only downside--no coffee or breakfast--
- Dex (10/5): - The proprietor sent me a voicemail just before they close at 10 PM. Because I could not arrive in time he fortunately left our key in an envelope taped to the door. That was wonderful. It was also very trusting.
The one thing I wanted to say to him, but we left before the 10 AM opening of the office. Was that room 214 drain in the shower does not go down. He needs to fix that. Not cool that water is over my ankles when I take a shower.
- Phyllis (10/5): - Location. Old west atmosphere.
- Cindy (9/5): - Struttura tenuta bene.
Personale alla reception molto gentile.
Stanze enormi.
- Janice (9/5): -
- Laura (10/5): - We got there late and left early a.m. to make next destination. Beds were very comfortable.
- Shirley (2/5): - For $190 per night and additional $40 per night for a pet we expected a lot more. I’ve stayed in much nicer places for a lot less money. We were told the place was pet friendly but we’re not told of an additional $40 per night fee for our pet until we arrived even though I texted them and told them we were Bringing a pet. The room was in poor repair. Handle on toilet broken off, caulk around tub cracked and disgusting, couldn’t operate coffee pot because cord was too short to plug in unless you wanted to sit it on the floor or balance it on the too small vanity around the sink in the tvery small bathroom.
- Bruce (6/5): - Property needs upgrading - Price is high for type of rooms.
- N7732FGkellyw (4/5): Kinda felt like I got robbed. - Pros. It’s clean.
Cons. Parking is super tight for a small suv. You’re practically bunking with whomever u
Is in the room next door because the walls are paper then. The bed is a brick. It’s definitely not a $192 per night room. $100 at best. If I’m back this way, I’ll just drive on by.
