Guest Reviews
- Juan (10/5): - Very nice , clean and safe place, great location, located in excellent part.of town in Krabi town
- miguel (10/5): - Ok
- Zenonas (10/5): Comfortable and friendly - Comfortable hotel and clean. Friendly and helpful staff.
- Kathleen (2/5): - The mattress was so firm (like a brick). The room was extremely noisy like you were sleeping in a tent on the busy street. The TV screen was melted. Very overpriced for what we got. The only thing going for this hotel was it was clean and the staff were nice.
- Robert (10/5): - The hotel was very nice very clean wonderful rooms and it was an easy 15 minute walk to downtown and the night market and the beautiful promenade along the river!
- Bob (10/5): - Had a great day at the hotel and there was a wonderful coffee shop just a half a block away made beautiful coffee!
- Anik (8/5): - Nice environment
- Niamh (6/5): Good overall. - The mattresses are extremely extremely hard. Slept on carpet softer. The air con broke on 2nd night alerted staff straight away they said they’d fix it next day when maid cleaned room but didn’t so 2/3 days we had no air con and it was the main reason we booked with them as was good value for money. They provided fresh bottled water everyday and we froze ours in the freezer part of the fridge which was great. Bathrooms lovely.
- Alex (6/5): - Property is great value n staff are great
- Francis S Gutta (8/5): - The bed was very firm -like a 10 out of 10. Very nice stay overall. Coffee in the morning and hot water pot all day were very appreciated.
- Balazs (6/5): - The mattress truly are rock hard, i believe management should consider addressing the problem as this makes the hotel uncomfortable to stay longer period, reading back a few comments other people had the same issue. To be fair we found the hotel clean the bathrooms are okay but no pressure nor hot water at night time when the rush hours are. We found the staff nice and accomodating, the area lacks any excitement 7-11 opposite, around the night market area is lively 15-20 mins walk for two nights it was okay
- Teri (8/5): - The hotel advertised breakfast available but it was not. Only coffee and cookies. There is a kabob stand in front that opens mid-day. The beds are hard as planks. Other than that it was good value for $. Not too long walk to river, food and markets. 7-11 across the street.
- Geir (6/5): Pit stop - Greit hotell for en natt, litt for harde senger etter min smak. Hyggelig betjening
- Joshua (8/5): - It was clean and staff was nice. Water was very hot which was nice. Shower didn’t drain well and mattress was very hard, even for Thailand.
- Chantana (6/5): - No kettle in room no coffee or tea. A little disappointing. Too far away from central Krabi. Thin walls nosy in corridor and the bed ver hard like you sleep on the concrete floor
- Graham (8/5): Good for a night or two - Room nice sized and clean ( bed very firm). About 15/20 min walk to walking st, mainly down hill
A decent hotel at a decent price. Slightly cheaper booking on line rather than at the hotel
- Iulius (8/5): - Pretty happy with this place, really enjoyed it and the location is not bad. I liked the fact that every taxi driver knew the hotel.
Belle vue.
Je le recommande vivement.
- Kampon (10/5): - Overall are good
- mike (10/5): great place - Bed was so nice great nights sleep
- mike (8/5): Nice clean hotel great king size bed - Hotel was nice . Clean rooms and staff are great .
- Frederick (8/5): Quiet Stay - Could not really give a fair review as I was the only tourist staying due to closed borders. The staff where very good and tried to be helpfull, had a problem with transport to town one evening so one of the staff took me in her car, which was very good of her.
- Vicky (8/5): 1 night before Koh lipe - stayed 1 night before Koh lipe, very nice staff, close to market and to the pier
- paulaB7424JJ (8/5): Pretty good overall - It was a 2 star which I think is fair. A nice 8-10min walk from the action although it was on a main road so expect a bit of noise. Was spacious and clean, however....
After check in and dropped bags in and checked out the place we went for walk etc. When we returned there was a LOT of mini ants on the floor. Mentioned it to the lady on the desk, and she quickly came up and swept up the floor and then sprayed and mopped the floor to prevent them. Offered us to change rooms but was happy with the situation.
overall, quite happy with the place and staff were nice. No complaints from me
- Fimna (8/5): Second stay, more to follow - Rooms spacious and again spotless, you could eat off of the floors. Check in is at 1 PM IIRC, but they managed to give our room to us at around 10AM, so we could sleep off the jetlag.
Location is quiet in the evening/night, so no noise. 5-10 minute walking from Krabi Town.
Perfect first/last hotel before flying in or out of the country.
- Ml (6/5): - Good hotel for a night before the ferry to Phi Phi.
- Sam (10/5): Super friendly and helpful staff - Really nice hotel in walking distance to the river, night market etc. Room was spacious and clean and the bed was super comfy. Breakfast was also really good with lots of choice. Staff always willing to assist you with anything you need, they helped with booking tours and explained to us how to get/use the local buses. Would stay here again!
- Eric Leong (2/5): Hotel Rooms - Got a room at the hotel at first, we facing no hot water for shower. Then the staff arrange a room facing the main road for us as there is no other rooms available. Later that night, the room was very noisy as it facing the main road.
- Verified traveler (10/5): Great clean rooms and the staff were unbelievable - Great clean rooms and the staff were unbelievable
- 003DiL (10/5): A very good hotel IN krabi town - Extremely well located, connected and courteous staff. Very helpful in planning a customized private tour guiding and suggesting with the same.
Sandy at the reception is very hospitable and I appreciate the courtesy and attentiveness.
thought they do not have a restaurant they serve breakfast in the morning. there are restaurants and stores 2 to 3 minutes away.
- HalifaxColette (6/5): One night in krabi - Stayed here for one night. Booked as it was near one of the temples we wanted to see, it was about a 10 min walk from the town. The hotel was fine and was happy for the price we got it at...had a lovely view. Check in was quick, receptionist did want to see our immigration form though so have it ready.😊
- Sharlene (10/5): - one of the cleanest and best hotels in our 21 day stay - would rate it higher - a little walk from the main downtown area though
- Verified traveler (8/5): Great staff, nice room - Really helpful and friendly English speaking staff, quick check in, the room cleaning could be approved on and the pillows were rock hard and need of replacement.
- Prasan (6/5): So-so - Just another stay in another hotel.
- Fimna (8/5): Our hotel while in Krabi - Hotel itself is located a bit off of the Krabi Town, but still within walking distance.
You can catch a bus right outside the hotel to Tiger Cave Tempel or Ao Nang for 50 bhat.
Hotel was spotless clean and rooms were big. Views to SW and NW were great from 3rd floor.
Breakfast was very basic, but it did the job. Staff was friendly, although we had little problems with their lack of english.
- SueGordontravels (6/5): Ok - Only stayed here for one night as a stopover on the way to Railey beach room was clean and bathroom likewise.
Breakfast was nothing special but adequate.
7-11 is virtually opposite which is quite handy.
Standard basic accommodation & no complaints, would recommend for cost.
- munchy789 (8/5): Lovely hotel - We missed the last ferry to Phi-Phi and ended up staying in the White Pearl for one night. The staff were extremely friendly and helped sort out transport for us. The room had all mod cons was extremely clean and had great air con. The location isn't ideal there's not much around but suited us because we were booked on the first ferry out. The breakfast wasn't to our taste but that's the only downfall. I wouldn't stay here again but it's not down to the hotel more to do with the area.
- Tino (6/5): Ok hotel before heading to islands - Decent and clean hotel. Breakfast was not very good and no real coffee. Hotel is close to the main shopping/nightlife area but still need to use a taxi to get anywhere. Reasonable yet not great.
- Pradeep (8/5): Great comfort hotel. - The room was clean, the hotel was pretty comfortable. A good choice for folks who would like to be close to the city. Not lavish comfort/ Luxury but good clean comfort.
Recommend it as a cost effective option. The breakfast is basic with some good preorderable Thai options.
- Shane (8/5): - We stayed at the White Pearl at a stopover before heading to Railay Beach and it was great to stay somewhere so nice and clean!! Also, breakfast was great and the service was as well.
- suz_wah_73 (4/5): Great Air-Con, Poor Customer Service - Reception staff were helpful and welcoming when we arrived. The room was big. Air conditioning in the room was icy cold. Breakfast was included but was quite limited, very basic. There were no restaurants or eating places close by. Also, no pool. The shower only had cold water. If hot water was available, it was complicated trying to access it.
The first night, the power went off in our room. It was hot with no air-con. After removing and replacing the swipe key the power came back on. Then off. On. Off. We phoned the 24 hour reception, but the receptionist got angry with us. After 10 minutes they still hadn't come to check our situation. We phoned again. Finally, a woman came up and offered moving us to another room if it couldn't be repaired. I sleep using an Apnea machine, but I could not use it that night due to the faulty, intermittent power in that 1st room.
The next day while we were out, our lugguage was moved to another room. That room was quite clean, except I found a small blood spot on the quilt cover. I could not alter the water temperature in that shower either. After that, we were treated rather cooly by the reception staff. I probably wouldn't choose to stay there again.
- mathew (6/5): Standard hotel, poor breakfast and awful advice - Room was fine, staff friendly. Poor breakfast that we didn't eat and didn't look like the picture. They organised a island tour which was the worst day of our Holiday.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Ticket sales for ferry to phi phi could be much better
- 896val_rian (8/5): Good option - Nice, clean, confortable, big rooms, really confortable beds, friendly staff and good price. I will book again if I come back to Krabi.
I was travelling with my sister and they didn't have a bedroom with 2 single beds, but the bed for 2 was so big that it wasn't a problem.
Nice breakfast and good location.
The staff speak English.
- julianm448 (10/5): Amazing Value - We stayed here for a night and were extremely happy. The hotel was clean, quiet and comfortable. People mention that they are unhappy with the location however it is only a 15 minute walk to all the action. Breakfast wasn't as shown however I wouldn't stay anywhere else in Krabi Town! Super cheap at only $50 CDN.
- Jeremiah (8/5): One night stay on the way to Koh Lanta - My wife and I stayed here on our way through to Koh Lanta from Chiang Mai. The hotel was clean and the staff helpful in getting us to the morning ferry. There is not much to do immediately outside but a couple good stands and a 7- eleven across the street. It was perfectly fine for our needs.
- space_eagle9 (8/5): As nice as Pearl - We stayed for 2 nights in this hotel. With family of 3 adults we got the corner room with 1 king bed and 1 single bed. The room was big and very clean.
This hotel is well located in the city where you can go to night or morning market. But it is not on the beach or nearby. So if you plan to visit islands, it may not suitable.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Got there at midnight, got u, had a decent breakfast and left.
- FilipM730 (8/5): Nice place - Nice hotel not too far from Krabi center and night market. Hotel is clean and rather small. The staff is nice and willing to help . Room is ok, clean. Breakfast is pre ordered the day before and the choice is quite big. The place is woth money you pay for it.
- Peter (8/5): Good for a night - Rooms and hotel people excellent for price paid. Breakfast buffet nothing special. Views from hotel room pretty miserable. Long walk from city centre (about 20-25 min walk to river front. Most important question is perhaps would you really want to stay in Krabi Town if going to Krabi? I would recommend staying by beach location rather than river location. OK for a night but not longer.
- sez (10/5): Clean and Modern! - This hotel has everything we needed (maybe minus a kettle), even a Fox Movies channel!
It was clean and spacious and everything worked, except the sink which kept blocking up but we mentioned it to the reception and it got sorted straight away
It was a lovely stay, the only negative was the staff didn't speak great English so we couldn't ask for advice on travels.
It is a 10 min walk to the centre of Krabi town and only 20 mins from the airport depending on mode of transport. We took the airport bus and it dropped us right outside.
On the way back we stood outside the hotel with our baggage and flagged down a shared taxi/truck and he took us for 100 baht
- 404travellingr (8/5): No frills comfort. - Good value, simply amenities. Comfortable mattress, very clean sheets & room as well as good air-con. 15 minute walk to the main market/town area.
Breakfast included: frankfurter, ham and fried eggs, toast, tea and coffee unlimited.
- g00nbAg (10/5): Clean room, friendly staff, lovely breakfast - Stayed here for 2 nights in April while travelling South Thailand with my fiancé and my mate who was with his girlfriend in another room.
The rooms were clean and well maintained, room service was very efficient and kingsize bed was very comfortable. There was a very strong wifi signal in both my room and my mates room and the TV had some good channels with lots of movies in English, which is nice in the evening before going to sleep to check up on Facebook and watch a film.
The location is a little off, about a 10-15 minute walk to the Krabi town area, but who doesn't rent a car/bike when in Krabi? I certainly rented a moped for 200baht/day and saw everything there was to see in Krabi within 2 days.
The price of this hotel was very cheap for the quality of the hotel, we paid about 1000baht/day with breakfast included!! I would certainly stay here again.
- 478lilae (8/5): clean, friendly with full breakfast - we stayed here for 7 days. it is a good walk into town and the night market on fri, sat, sun but what a nice place. clean, A/C, free internet, beds are comfortable, it is quite on three sides of the hotel, there is bus right outside the door into Krabi town or Ao Nang
- EricChai (8/5): Comfortable stay - No doubt the hotel is 10min walking distance from krabi town center but next the museum and beautiful temple. Staffs here very friendly and no problem to understand us and our needs. 7/11 is just across the street is you are feeling to have some food is nearby.
The room is spacious and clear so does the toilet.
Forgot to mention the is a Thai Dim Sum store worth the try you will definitely enjoy.
- Worldtraveller56 (10/5): Great value city hotel - Spent one night in the hotel on the way to Ao Nang.
It's located on a main road but it is very quiet in the rooms and the beds are very comfortable.
The rooms are spotless and are good value for money and there is also parking at the hotel. There is a 7 /11 across the road and a small selection of local restaurants near by. Or the centre and local market is a 15 minute walk away.
The breakfast is basic but more than adequate.
From what contact we had with the staff they were all very helpful but there English is limited ( but you are in Thailand :-)
Overall a great value city hotel in a local area away from the other guesthouses and hotels.
- Martinlaw1985 (6/5): No major issues - Can't complain about the room and cleanliness, the location about a 10 min walk into town. The breakfast was not to my liking but there was plenty enough.
This hotel probably could be a 4 taking into account value for money facilities etc. it's just the location isn't great and my main gripe was how miserable the staff seemed to be all the time, there was a girl behind the reception who would offer a smile although the remainder seemed as though they were at a funeral, not normally something I'd bother about at all but was so noticeable.
In all honesty I'm not one for bothering about staff being polite etc. so would consider stopping here again.
One other thing worth mentioning Is the modern safe in the room and there is a night guard sat at the front door throughout the twilight hours
- Travelalexuk (6/5): Great rooms, terrible location - A nice hotel with clean stylish rooms and lovely bathrooms. If this hotel wasn't totally out of the way of all bars and restaurants and sights then they'd be onto a winner.
Unfortunately Krabi has literally no taxis or tuk tuks in the town so staying at a hotel out of the way is a pretty bad idea.
The service was nothing special but we had no problems. Breakfast was a fry up which was a nice surprise. All in all a modern, safe hotel and perfect if you plan on staying a while and hiring a moped but if you don't have your own transport you'd be much better off staying nearer the centre.
- Sy_and_The_Gang2012 (10/5): Clean and very good value for money! - My husband and I stayed at this hotel for one night stop over before travelling to Phi Phi the next day. Much to our surprise the hotel was lovely and clean with very welcoming staff and owner. The room was a big en-suite room with lovely modern contemporary furnishing. This was a pleasant hotel and very good value for money!
