• John (10/5): If you want a good value base to explore and visit Rome, San Pietro room is the place for you - The accommodation is functional. The room was small but well appointed. Bathroom was good and spotless clean. The location is excellent, 5 minute walk from the Vatican. The room was serviced everyday to a good standard. There are no staff on site, but the phone communication was excellent. Nothing I didn’t like, but it is good to be aware that you are renting a room with no additional facilities or service staff. You have to go up a short flight of stairs to get to the accommodation , not difficult but for some folk might be an issue.

We were able to check-in at 10.30am which was very convenient . We were able to drop off our luggage and explore the neighborhood. Diego and the owner greeted us and were absolutely wonderful. Both were true gentleman’s. They carried our luggage and answered any questions we had. I recommend San Pietro Boutique and give them 5 stars.
• Shiona (10/5): - What a unique property with a true boutique feel! It felt as though we were guests in a welcoming home. The rooms were impeccably kept and very comfortable. Would absolutely return. The proprietors assisted our family with travel arrangements to and from the cruise port and to the airport for our departure. We felt very safe in the neighborhood and were just steps away from the Vatican and Castel San'Angelo. We enjoyed a leisurely walks to the Colosseum and to the Piazza Navonna and the Trevi Fountain.

Под окном располагается ресторан, однако в номере тихо, что редкость для Рима (видимо, очень хорошие оконные рамы). Персонал бывает только днем, однако это не проблема для позднего заселения - высылается код для электронного замка. Персонал весьма доброжелательный, помог с вызовом такси. Это не отель, а апартаменты, так что завтрак не предоставляется, но в округе есть несколько баров и кафешек, работающих с утра.

• Paul (10/5): - This stay was our return to Rome following a cruise. Just as when we stayed pre-cruise, Diego and Francesca and other staff were outstanding. Our stay at the San Pietro Boutique greatly contributed to our overall enjoyment of our 18-day, Rome and Italian/Greek Cruise vacation. The hotel is small, six rooms, and intimate. Quiet is an understatement. I mentioned the two restaurants just outside the hotel's doors in my pre-cruise stay review. They too, were street side and on-street restaurants. Our room faced the street. Absolute quiet in our room. Value for dollar (Euro) is on the mark at SPB. Over the years, we've stayed in Rome often, at similar hotels. SPB is the best.
• Paul (10/5): - Absolutely excellent! A clean, spotlessly clean, facility with a modern bathroom. Shower was plenty large enough with hot and cold running water. We never ran out of hot water, even when taking consecutive showers. Ample large and absorbent towels, and toiletries provided, refreshed each day. Particularly appreciated was the air conditioning. Rome was baking in an intense heat wave with temperatures in the mid- to high 90s (F). The AC was so good, that we turned it down a bit. The king size bed, with four large medium firm pillows, was very comfortable. After a day of sight seeing, we slept well. We traveled to Rome to board a 10-day cruise from Rome to various Italian and Greek ports, returning to Rome. Many months prior to arriving in Rome, we booked the San Pietro Boutique for five nights. Diego was our contact there. All communications with him were timey and most useful. Upon arrival, we were met my Francesca, and later Diego. Both spoke perfect English. They were also kind enough to allow us to practice Italian with them. They were attentive and accommodating to our every request. They arranged car service to/from the airport and cruise port. Each worked flawlessly. We chose the area where San Pietro Boutique is located due to its proximity to St Peter's Basilica. A slow, casual stroll makes for an 11 minute walk (Timed it). Street side, and on-street, restaurants abound within mere minutes. Much more. See our review for our second stay at SPB.
• Shirley (10/5): Great stay! - Diego was a lovely host. We stayed for two nights and asked for room service on our morning there. They actually came in an moved our bags and placed things neatly away, which showed extra special attention to detail, as we were used to a simple bed sheet change in our home country (if we had known I would not have left it so messy, oops!). We were provided an espresso in the mornings and a water bottle each day. Overall, very impressed & the showers were especially lovely.

• Natalia (7/5): Good - The 4-star sign on Booking was misleading. In reality, this is not a hotel but a few guest rooms on the second floor of a historic building. There is no 24/7 reception and no breakfast. Parking options are limited to city parking (which was full) or paid underground garages — the nearest one was full, but we found another nearby for €35 per day. The room was spacious, and the bed was comfortable. However, our window faced a noisy street, and we could hear people talking and drinking late into the night. The door to the shared hallway did not insulate sound well — we could hear guests coming and going, and doors slamming. The manager was very polite and tried to help. Access to the building and room was easy via a code system. In my opinion, for €300 per night, better options are available. Check-out time is 10 a.m., we were allowed to leave our bags after check-out, though note there is no dedicated luggage room for storage.

It was spotless clean, comfortable, great heating / aircon and Diego was also kind to arrange a water kettle to our room and a taxi to the airport. The property is also close to the subway and all main attractions except Colosseum. There is no breakfast on site but the place around the corner that they partner with is spot on - both sweet and savoury options. I stayed in much more expensive places and this honestly punches above its weight in terms of comfort and attention to detail! N/A

It is spotlessly clean (it could pass the white glove test) it is cute and has great walking access. My wife and I spent three days and loved it. The check in was so friendly and flexible. The helped us with maps and directions to the places we wanted to see. They took time to answer all of our questions. (in English) Perfect spot for our vacation.

The location was awesome -- we walked to all major sites. Loved being in a neighborhood with many restaurants frequented by locals nearby. To avoid street noise, ask for the rooms facing the courtyard. Don't expect this to be like a hotel -- we only saw the owners when we checked in. There was an emergency number to contact them which we never needed.
