• Verified traveler (6/5): Good location with public transportation - Overall, I had a good experience during my one week stay here. The staff was nice and the common areas were clean. HOWEVER, my room was never cleaned and I had to go and ask for clean towels and toilet paper. AC worked great though! Lastly, it is in a great location because it's quiet and there is public transportation nearby (buses, not BTS or skytrain though). One of those buses can take you to the airport too!
• Pauline (8/5): convenient location - The room was small but adequate, and the staff were happy to oblige. No breakfast was no issue with a 7-11 next door and plenty of eateries nearby. Can easily walk or catch a bus/taxi to many places of interest.

• Verified traveler (2/5): Stay away! - Bad impression from the moment we entered the hotel: lobby under construction with debris every where! Service was extremely lousy: front desk personel tried to pocket money by charging extras! Bed sheets were dirty and ripped! Not recommended if you travel with your family. OK if you travel by yourself and on a tight budget/ or you just need a place to sleep. Their rooms don't like the photos they show, what a scam!

• Anna (8/5): Good value for your money - The room was tiny (we could barely get around the bed) but for $25 a night and overall very clean and well-kept I can't complain. Great deal. Location is in the older area of Bangkok (not the super touristy side) so if you're into rooftop bars and nightlife this isn't really close to that, but if you want a good base for seeing sights and experiencing the real Bangkok, this place is great.

Easy 5 min stroll into Khao San Road 'party central'. next door to 711 store. Street food at door step. A few more steps to McDonalds. Great staff, honest and precise local knowledge from Enhlish speaking happy staff. No fuss late check out option (6pm). Clean and comfortable small rooms. Great hotwater shower.

• Adele (2/5): Dissapointed - Rude staff instantly put us off this hotel from the moment we checked in. Then we entered the room and it was boiling hot plus they had left the window open so mosquitos had for in. Opened the fridge and that was also very hot. The room was small but understandable for prime location.
• Nina (6/5): a bit too noisy - the doors are making noise if you don't close it carefully. unfortunately everyone was slamming their doors, especially the next door neighbours who were screaming and loughing and going in and out their room million times for some reason, from midnight to 2 am. the windows are not soundproof also and i was listening to some alarm that went on for the whole night. have not slept at all :/ the room was clean, location was ok but I think for 29$ one can get the better room in Bangkok.

Hotel did not have my reservation for a 3 night stay but we did get a room. Night reception fellow spoke decent English and was helpful with directions and any of our questions. Room was rather small but very clean. We would return to this hotel.

• Esplay (2/5): Nie wieder... - Wir haben ein Zimmer für zwei Nächte gebucht. Als wir um 22 Uhr endlich das Hotel erreichten, wurde uns mitgeteilt, dass das Hotel keine freien Zimmer mehr hat. Das Zimmer war schon gezahlt und wir hatten eine Buchungsbestätigung bekommen, eine echte Frechheit! Das "Ersatzhotel" war schrecklich. Mein Fazit: unverschämt und unorganisiert..
• Verified traveler (2/5): Notva good deal - The room was small and dark-window facing concrete wall so that no daily light could come in. You dont know if this is day or night. The window was so incredibelly dirty i couldnt believe. The room itself stuffy, towel was ddirty and no space to put your stuff. The staff was not helpful and we were charged for two days,however got only 24 hours of free wifi-after that the lady suggested to purchase a package. No kettle in the room, when trying to make a tea downstairs, same lady suggested to go to 7eleven to get hot water (!). Better avoid.
• David (8/5): Nice boutique style hotel near the Royal Palace - Very friendly reception on arrival to hotel. Room was most adequate for a few nights stay and especially for the reasonable price charged. We liked the fact the the hotel was close to the Royal Palace and had a 7/11 store next to it and a Mac Donalds just around the corner. The bed was reasonably comfortable too.

• Verified traveler (8/5): - It was a last minute booking and they were beg helpful to ensure we were able to store our baggage and get in asap. They also helped us install an international SIM card. The only negative was that the bed was awfully hard.
• Ann (10/5): Good base for a short stay - The bed was really comfortable and the air conditioner was really quiet. Bathroom was really small and shower didn't have a working shower head. Pressure was a little weak. Staff were really friendly and helped us check in at 02:00 in the morning. There wasn't a view out the window. Location great for Khao San Road and other attractions and was quiet. Brochure said 30BHT for wifi but when we went to reception they said it was free. Worked fine.

Only 10 minute walk from koah San road which is great but far enough away to get a good sleep. Basic but you get what you pay for. Good hotel to use as a base for exploring Bangkok.
• Andrew (10/5): Great spot! - I found this place on Hotels.com after one of the shady local travel agencies tried to book me into a total dive shortly after I arrived near koh san. The rooms were clean and confortable, the location was convenient (near Koh san rd if that's your thing). The hostess (I think her name was Likee) was very friendly and good at accomodating every need. Great value in my opinion.

• Verified traveler (4/5): Nothing like the pictures - This hotel is nothing like the photos. The room was small and cramped. The bed was hard and uncomfortable. The bathroom was dirty. The obly good thing was the location. Close to the Grand Palace and Wat Pho and Wat Arun.
• Lucy (6/5): Alright Hotel - This hotel was average in most ways. It was fairly well situated and maintained but the rooms were on the small side and most of the TV channels in our room didn't work. Despite what is listed on here the wifi is NOT free and the hotel does not have a complimentary breakfast available for guests. However for a short stay is was perfectly adequate and clean.
