• colntray (2/5): Needs some love - Booked presidential suite. On arrival they gave us bog standard room. Complained and was given presidential room. Omg it was filthy. No air conditioner. Live wires everywhere. Shower did not work. Room so dingy and dark. Got a refund and left. Do not stay here. But on a positive note front of house staff was very helpful and seemed really embarrassed, with a bit of love this place would be ideal as location is good

• Min Seok (6/5): - It's okay for a late arrival, but the air conditioning is fantastic. The restaurant is currently undergoing renovations, so breakfast is not available. There's no other place nearby that's open late.

Cons: - There was some damp in the room causing bubbling but it wasn’t really a bother for me. - There was a rather large cockroach in our room and many many dead ones in the stair well - The hotel itself wasn’t very clean eg cigarette butts everywhere - There was no breakfast, no gym and no spa/massage available (as advertised) Pros - Really well located - right near dragon bridge and night market and day market - easy check in - Phenomenal air con - this was easily my favourite bit about the room. It was such a pleasure to come back to - Clean room apart from that one little roach. - Comfortable bed - Cute little tea set set out with bottled water for us - Fridge available - shower gel and shampoo available - Clean towels. Overall, pretty happy for the price 👍🏻

Booked and leave phone number and felt so bad when i cane to check in my room and they said your room not available and try to move me to another hotel ... Ìf have any problem that they can contact me instead told me qait from 2 to 7pm to let them check rooom... So crazy service i ever seee and i dont recommand a lot about this hotel for anyone ... I hope the owner neeed to change theri service system if they still qabt to do bussiness
• I1485HBjulieg (2/5): Do not book!!! - We arrived here, after a very long day, around 11pm to be told there must be a ‘system error’ and we had no booking. We showed them our confirmation details and even emails between us confirming we could check in later than usual but it was just met with a very couldn’t care less attitude. The area was deserted, nowhere to get food or water, nor were we offered any water. After 20 minutes of getting nowhere we compromised on them paying for our grab to another hotel which they suggested and guaranteed was to the same standard, it absolutely was not and it turned out to be just around the corner.
• Voyage38433558656 (2/5): Rooms for bumbum only.` - I booked this hotel through Agoda as part of a "flight+hotel" discounted package, but upon arrival, they hadn't reserved a room for us. Before our stay, the staff were unusually insistent about knowing our exact arrival time, which struck me as odd. Despite providing this information, when my wife and I arrived at the front desk to check in, we discovered that no room was reserved. The staff member at the counter made us wait in the lobby for more than an hour and repeatedly encouraged us to leave and find accommodation elsewhere. It seemed clear to me that the hotel prefers accommodating single men seeking nightlife activities rather than couples who might have a smaller budget.

• leogD7750KU (10/5): A Comfortable and Welcoming Stay at Moonlight Hotel - My girlfriend and I stayed at the Moonlight Hotel Da Nang for two nights, and it was a wonderful experience. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel incredibly welcome and went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed for a great stay. The hotel’s location is fantastic—right in the heart of Da Nang, with easy access to local restaurants, shops, and landmarks. It was the perfect base for exploring the city and nearby attractions. Our room was clean, spacious, and very comfortable. The bed was cozy, and we had everything we needed for a relaxing stay, including strong Wi-Fi (which was a big plus!). The view from our room was also a lovely bonus—it really added to the overall experience. What stood out the most was the excellent service. The staff were always friendly, attentive, and quick to help with any requests or questions we had. Their warm hospitality made us feel at home, and we really appreciated their effort to make our stay special. If you’re looking for a comfortable, well-located hotel with great service in Da Nang, I highly recommend the Moonlight Hotel. It was a fantastic experience, and we’d definitely stay here again!

Only issue is the bathroom/shower needs better lighting and the hot controller for the shower is difficult to configure to use. Also some band started playing music at 4am one night.

• Verified traveler (10/5): - Whilst this isn't a 5-star hotel it is safe, clean, spacious rooms that are air conditioned, large bathrooms and in the middle of walking distance to good food, coffee, shops, river. However best of all, the staff here are very friendly and ready to help with any question or request for help If something isn't right with the room I feel confident it would be taken care of, though I had no issues. I would stay here again.
• mikerwriter (10/5): Great Hotel! Thanks Moonlight! - Da Nắng is a vibrant, bustling city, filled with super nice Vietnamese people. It’s clean and organized, the choice of amazing restaurants and worldwide cuisine is mind-boggling. It’s a fantastic jumping off point for Hoi An, Hue, Ba Na Hills and Marble Mountain. The Moonlight Hotel is just the icing on the cake. I had a clean and comfortable 15th floor room with a panoramic river view at New Year’s for 595,000 Dong. That includes a free breakfast on the Mezzanine level. The staff is friendly and professional, and unlike many other hotels in Vietnam, they don’t ask too many questions. I also enjoyed the wonderful massage spa here.. gorgeous Vietnamese girls treat you like a King. I will be back next time I’m lucky enough to spend time in Da Nắng!

• Meg (6/5): - At check in the staff insisted on keeping our passports, first hotel that was pushy about this in 2 weeks. Finally he agreed to a photocopy, which is what all the other hotels have done. The room was clean but needs paint touched up- flaking off the walls. Shower was good and bathroom clean. My husband’s back was sore but when we went to book a massage the masseuses where wearing very provocative outfits and the man at the desk would not let me stay in the room or in the waiting area for my husband - we decided too sketchy so left without the massage. Breakfast was ok- same spread as most of the other hotels. Would not likely stay here again.

She is very responsive to email enquiry, speak good English and assist in transport booking with affordable price. • 770carlm (8/5): 3 night stay in Da Nang - Very pleasant and comfortable hotel. In a good location for shops bars and restaurants. Only 10 minutes walk to the waterfront where the river is with great views of the Dragon Bridge, and where more Western styled pubs are. Room had everything you needed. Mini bar TV safe tea and coffee and water. Great buffet breakfast served. Staff on the reception desk were helpful. WiFi in this hotel was very good, steady and very reliable. Used the laundry service which was excellent. 10 T shirts and 3 pairs of shorts for under £6. Handed in about 7pm and back at 7.30am the following morning. I would stay here again.
• F8489JYmatthews (2/5): Rooms smell like an ashtray - I asked to switch rooms since mine smelled literally like an old bowling alley, they sprayed and said they’d work with me, then refused later. This place is god awful. It’s breakfast is far below other 3+ hotels. Staff was unbelievably rude and unhelpful. Shockingly bad. It is the worst hotel I’ve stayed in in Asia.

• LSUTGR1 (6/5): Good Hotel in a convenient location, with good views - This hotel is conveniently located within walking distance from the museum, dragon bridge, and the Han market. Lots of nice places to eat nearby. The breakfast was the only disappointing thing here, with a very limited number of items on the menu. Also, the computers at the business center were kind of sporadic in functionality. I liked the worship center on the top floor, although the gym and laundry facilities need a lot of improvement. Great views from the rooms, especially east-facing side.

The breakfast selection could be better too. Simple things like yogurts should be available if you are also focusing on western visitors.
• st (8/5): ガイドブックに掲載されている土産物店は近いです。 - フェーバチョコレート等お土産店が近くにあります、7階の部屋でしたがドラゴン橋が見えるお部屋でした。 建物は新しくありませんがそこそこ綺麗な方かと、お風呂やトイレは上も下も比べたらキリがありません、価格で察してください。 一応シャワーは上から固定のものとヘッドのものと二つついていました。 旅行の最終日、夜便だったので荷物をどこかに預けるのも面倒だったのと、風呂でも浴びて飛行機に乗りたかったのでデイユースとしてしか使っていません。 布団のシーツが少し匂った気もしますが、価格を踏まえれば良いホテルだと感じました。

• thenomadicbadger (2/5): Staff are miserable - breakfast is shocking - The only reason this isn't one star is because the room was clean, with a nice view and spacious. The rest of our experience with this hotel is nothing short of shocking. Plenty of staff, but they are unhelpful, unwelcoming and you genuinely feel like you are causing them pain getting them to get off their chairs. We live in Asia and have done for more than a year. We have been in Vietnam for weeks. This is the worst we have experienced in terms of customer service. Whether it is laziness or demotivation we're not sure. To cap it off. On our day of checkout, we went for breakfast (elsewhere from the hotel, as the hotel breakfast is shocking) and our room was made up. Which was fine, but the 'complimentary bottles of water' which we drank were charged for upon checkout. This was such a small amount, but it is merely the principle. I'd be happy to pay more if services and attitudes improved. If you are a tourist, look elsewhere as there are lots of nice hotels in Da Nang. We definitely got the impression that locals were more welcome.
• 56charlottes (2/5): Rude staff and poor breakfast - We stayed here for two nights. If it wasn't for the room, we would have left. The reception staff were rude and unwelcoming. The room was pleasant and spacious. The fitness center is a box room with four machines hidden on the top floor. Very misleading. The breakfast was poor and had limited selection. The coffee was cold and the toaster was useless. We went out for breakfast and came back to find that our room had been made up an hour before check out. We drank the complimentary water, not realising that they had put new bottles in the room for the new guests, only to be charged for them when leaving. The music was pumping out from a wedding on the top floor. Smoking is allowed at this hotel and therefore the corridors and rooms smell if cigarette smoke. I live in Asia and visit a lot of hotels. This was the worst for customer service.
• JeffTReviews (4/5): reasonable location but unfriendly staff and dingy rooms - The Moonlight Hotel has rooms on various aspects of the hotel and mine overlooked a dump of a yard below and then out over some buildings and if you stretched around you could see over towards the river. The rooms themselves are rather dingy and unwelcoming in appearance and are rather dated in their décor. The internet is poor and very intermittent. The beds are firm and their is water running through the pipes that can be heard when its quiet which is not very pleasant. The breakfast is poor quality and simply not worth the visit. In general the hotel staff were very unfriendly and did not make you feel welcome and the property itself is in a reasonably good location and you can walk to the shopping centres to buy anything you need. There are much nicer hotels with better food internet and facilities in the area and I would not bother returning here. It was struggling to meet average at best.

You can walk easily to the centre and its only $3 in a taxi if u want the beach. The rooms are great.. very spaciuos with walk in shower and good aircon. The breakfast is vietnam style but huge choice and the staff brilliant. They even went out and bought me some cereals! Great value! Plenty restaurants and coffee shops nearby. Its only 5 mins from airport and costs $3!

• rtwsfo (8/5): Solid Hotel - This is a solid hotel. Rooms are clean, everything functions properly. The staff are friendly and helpful, especially the bell boys. The hotel is in a decent location a short walk from the River. Danang is really not that large, so getting around is never that much of a problem -- quick access to the airport. The breakfast is adequate, but felt that the breakfast room itself was a bit depressing and could use a little more light and an update. At times there was a lot of noise from the 2 floors of massage (4 and 5) that came up the stairs. Certainly would return if looking for a decently priced hotel in Danang.

The room could not have been better for the price !
• nhatrangstreetfood (6/5): Simple 3 Stars Hotel - Had 1 night staying here, even its location is not so easy to walk to the highlights of city but you can easily accept the value of money paying for 3 stars hotel. The room is clean, breakfast is good enough. Except the Spa is under-acceptability.
• paddymossman (2/5): Wake Up Danang! - Danang with all its apparent growth and burgeoning tourism industry better get ready with some friendly and efficient staffing who can speak more languages than Vietnamese and who can do the universal language of smiling! Our experiences in the rest of Vietnam has. Even far more friendly even with language difficulties, communication and a positive experience has been possible in all parts. This particular hotel is heading in the wrong direction for hospitality. The front office reception staff avoid contact, do not smile and ignorantly turn away from you and only interact with the bare minimum of contact. There is minimal signage other than in Vietnamese language throughout the Hotel. They advertise extensively in neon lights on the outside of the building that they have 2 floors of spa treatments but when tempted to have a spa treatment the two men at the spa reception were ruder than the hotel reception. They unprofessionally had loud lengthy discussions in Vietnamese and without any English they pointed forcefully to treatments as to which one was required - as the menu was totally in Vietnamese it was difficult to work out what was what... they were insisting on cash up front and refused charging back to the Hotel. We decided not to participle in a massage as we were expecting a relaxed Asian wellbeing experience and it was already like an aggressive confrontation. We checked with the hotel reception if they had a charge back arrangement with the two floors of spa and were bluntly told "no". Outside the hotel in that area other spas offered fantastic friendly service and wellbeing massages/treatments at a fraction of the Hotel spa price.
• Burin Nguyen (6/5): Good but can be better - the room is clean and nice, the view is good. However, breakfast buffet is a joke. I tried it once and never want to eat breakfast at the hotel anymore. Moreover, the staff is not really friendly, especially the one who raised her voice when I asked for a higher floor room. The hotel itself is good but the quality and service can be better.
• Richard Lee (8/5): convenient for most area - This is 3 stars hotel but yet stay like 4 stars. I love the room as is perfectly clean.

• Phuong (10/5): - We stayed a the hotel only one night and we got a free upgrade, which was very nice. The bell persons and the serving staff at the breakfast are very nice. Food is good except for the hot drinks are not hot enough.
• Boo Seong (8/5): Maintenance upkeep - Overall the room are ok but the bed mattress need changing as its overuse and sag in the middle. Either the bed has not been turn or rotate since it was install.
• Mauro (8/5): Great stay - Great overall hotel the guest services will get you anything you need if you just ask.
• Tatiami (4/5): It's not a 3 stars hotel - The room is big but it's not clean, dirty sheets and old towels. Buffet bfast has variety foods but they are not appealing. The bell boys are very nice and helpful. This is not a 3 stars hotel it's overrated.

• Phil (6/5): Spacious rooms , well located - Nothing wrong with this hotel except the staff are nowhere near as welcoming as almost all of the hotels in which we have stayed over a 4 year period. Breakfast was very average. All other amenities were fine. Great view across the river at night if you are on that side of the hotel.
• Emily (8/5): Clean and comfortable. - Very clean hotel with nice rooms and also very clean showers (excellent as this wasn't always the case in Vietnam)! Staff tries to be helpful but we were at a language disadvantage because they didn't speak or understand much English. Location is pretty decent. Breakfast was mediocre.
• Ed (10/5): Moonlight Hotel Review - 2nd time at Moonlight. Decent location since it's walk-able to many local shops. Very good value for the money, if you're not interested in a regular hotels amenities (pool, lounge, bar). All staff were helpful but they should have more people that know English for problem solving(hotel safe not working, need more towels, etc). I'd stay again.
• Verified traveler (10/5): Uncomfortable welcome reception but good stay - We enjoyed our stay here. Good service and new clean , big room as well. The staff are very nice and helpful. Just at the beginning we felt uneasy because the reception got some mixed up with paper works between hotel and Expedia. We already paid Hotel. Com but the hotel said we didn't and wanted us to cover the stay before we leave. The next day everything was clear. So they should have checked back with hotel.com before giving us uncomfortable welcome reception. This should never happen! We expect profesionalism. Besides that the rest was fine
• Susan (10/5): Central location - We decided to stay in Danang rather than Ho An to be in between all the sites such as Ho An, Hue, Marble Mountain and Monkey Mountain. We hired a motorbike at the Hotel with no problems whatsoever. The room was very clean and comfortable the position was central to everything. We stayed there 5 nights. The staff were friendly although their English is not that good.
• Verified traveler (2/5): Typical Vietnamese hotel with no service... - Stay at this place for 6 nights...new hotel in good location but that's all...Front desk service is Awful. Breakfast buffet is also cold and no service... I would definitely stay elsewhere next time.
• Dylan (10/5): A really nice hotel to stay in - This hotel was great. On check in, they will ask for your passport, and they will give it back when you check out, but I was adviced by a friend to ask them to make a copy, and return it back to you immediately. Me and my friend were able to hire a motorbike for 20,000 dong (66pence an hour) or 180,000 (£6 for a full day). The shower and bathroom was excellent, and the breakfast was nice. The bed was big and comfortable, and the hotel can arrange a nice tour for you. I would stay here again.
• jeff (8/5): Great room ,comfortable and clean .Good view city - I enjoyed my stay . Staff where kind and friendly and above all professional. I slept well on a comfortable bed . The hotel was centrally located and near to the airport . Taxi service was fast and cheap and professional . I would come again without hesitation . Thank you Moonlight Hotel .

• LJ (10/5): Good location close to airport - The room was spacious and very clean and comfortable. The hotel is close to a range of restaurants and a short drive to the airport. Ideal for a short stay for people wanting to be close to everything.
• Anthony Katene (10/5): Enjoyable stay - I thought for the price and hotel facilities this was an excellent hotel to stay at. Good location, good size and clean rooms with a great view, fast/free wi-fi with helpful staff.
• Verified traveler (8/5): Strange location but great for overnighter - We went for a wander and were in very 'local' area, nothing touristy about it all, which was refreshing though not so good for last-minute shopping. We also took advantage of their in-house massage service which included use of steam room and jacuzzi.. massage only a rub-down though, I don't think they were trained. Room comfortable and good sleep. Great veiw to the Dragon bridge etc.
• Alex (8/5): Good central hotel - Very nice hotel with good views over Da Nang. Staff were very friendly
• Brian (6/5): Food - While the hotel was clean and the staff tried to be helpful, I was disappointed about the facilities for eating I arrived at 8.30 pm. According to the hotel website there was supposed to be a restaurant and cafe. When I asked about these so I could get something to eat I was told they did not exist anymore so I then had to go out and find somewhere to eat nearby. Also the standard of the included buffet breakfast was poor. On my second morning, having gone to the coffee jug, there were no cups so I had to ask and then the little coffee that was in the jug was cold and I had to get them to give me a hot coffee.
