• Venessa (7/5): It was an overall ok stay. The bed was super comfortable. - Breakfast was ok. Not a huge variety. Food was a bit bland. Waffle maker would be nice. Only saw one worker the whole time. More flavor to the hot food.

For the money I would never stay here again - It wanted to be a nice place to stay and it was newer updates The toilet lid was literally missing a bolt and the other bolt was loose and it was super dangerous to even go to the bathroom. Appears that either they don’t actually clean the toilets or they don’t care about that stuff. When brought up to the front desk I was told it would be fixed the next day. It’s wasn’t. Upon checkout I told the front desk again. Room 207 in case anyone cares to check on it. The TVs are also crap quality and blurry.

• Angie (1/5): - They made me sit infront of the new Room and only gave me the Key after I made the new reservation on my Computer, sitting on my bag in the corridor. I need to say that I had no Cleaning because I opted out, so no extra Costs at all for them. Rip Off Place. Dont go! The Hotel was almost empty. Stay away! I couldn´t sleep as the lights on the Parking infront the Hotel are too bright and the curtains dont cover the window so the light shines in on the sides. The Bed of the King Rooms is old and not comfortable and makes noise. The air condition for heating is very loud so you have to switch it off in the night and it gets way too cold with the snowing outside. In the second night I wanted to switch the Room to the other side where it is dark. It was 8 PM when I came home after working the entire day and the guy at the reception said that I can only change the room in the morning - even they had many rooms available. They forced me to pay a extra night and blamed it on their Manager who is not there in the Hotel. This is no normal Hospitality behaviour and they clearly dont care about helping the guest. Not even when its their fault that the curtains dont close. The other side is better but more expensive: I would have payed an Upgrade but instead they made me pay the night in FULL because I didnt change in the Morning.

• Sheri (8/5): Great place in Red Wing! - loved the pancake machine and staff kept everything really clean. Needed an elevator, had to carry my large bag up the stairs. I was able but others would definitely find this a challenge.

The plate on the door was missing a screw. When we arrived there was no clear identification on the exterior of the building to indicate where the main lobby is.

• tina (5/5): - I like the spa tub. I didn't like the fact that when I checked in the guy said that I couldn't have visitors and that included anywhere on the property even outside. I've never had a hotel that restricted that you had visitors. My son gave me the room for my birthday and he could be the only one with me and my daughter and my other son could not be with me. They weren't staying the night they were just going to come and visit and we couldn't even do that.

Had reserved a room with a hot tub but there was a malfunction with the hot tub before my arrival and had to switch to a lower room type but they informed me about it a few days before arrival to let me decide what i wanted to do. They also said they would refund the price difference between the room we reserved and the room we got. The breakfast had the coolest pancakes machine i've ever seen in a hotel. It had me and three other women watching it while it made my breakfast.
• Taylor (3/5): Run down and unclean! - Beds were extremely comfy Holes in the sink (porcelain cracked and had a major chip) , cracked ceiling, garbage and large boards laying in the back and a terrible view out the window! No uber/lyft and the only 3 taxi derives the offered didn’t even work!! Would have been stuck at the hotel but some Good Samaritan helped us get a ride while at continental breakfast. No coffee at breakfast either. Would never stay here again!

The beds were comfortable and the shower was great It could use a little refreshing, it had several areas that were obviously in need of repair but despite the age it was a great spot.
• Sheri (10/5): A great place to stay - Check in was such a great experience. Desk clerk was super friendly and welcoming with such a sweet smile (young man probably early 20s). The first room had some issues (I don’t think it was meant to be given out because it smelt like fresh drywall and beds were unmade). The desk clerk was so apologetic and immediately switched us to a new room. So clean and very well maintained hotel. My third time staying here when I’m in town, and I will definitely stay again.

Nebenan konnte man sehr gut essen und das Personal war der Knüller Der Frühstücksbereich ist für die Größe des Hotels viel zu klein. Manche Gäste haben sich das Frühstück mit ins Zimmer genommen. Das Frühstück an sich ist gruselig.

We mentioned this to the desk manager, and rather than offering spray or something, he just said "oh yeah, we have a lot of flies in Red Wing because of the feed mills here". Nothing to get rid of the flies.

• Verified traveler (6/5): Jetted tub- no working jets - Got a king size room with "jetted tub"- Room was clean and spacious but jets in tub didnt work- was supposed to be a switch to turn them on the wall by the light switch for the room and nothing turned on.. Enjoyed the big tub but was hoping for a jacuzzi tub during the stay

It was also very deep to get into the way it was set up. Dirty mattress cover. It was gross. NOW, they took my $50 hold money and I did NOTHING to that room. Are they crooks?

• Mary (8/5): 2-Night Stay - The room was nice and quiet. The breakfast was okay. Two negative things were no elevator to the second floor so had to carry suitcases up and down the stairs and the chain lock or bar lock was missing from the door in our room.

• Patricia (7/5): We had a relaxing and quiet experience. - The complimentary breakfast was good, and made our stay comfortable. The hotel is conveniently located right next to a restaurant, and within a five min. drive to downtown Red Wing. We didn’t use the swimming pool, but it’s a nice amenity to have. The room smelled musty, like it was a smoking room before, and the carpet hasn’t been cleaned for ages. We found the bathroom floor dirty with hairs from previous guests.
• Jayda (2/5): - When we arrived to our room, there was so much humidity in the air. The windows were filled with condensation. We had drinks in cans, and the can was sweating because of the amount of humidity in the air. The walls in the bathroom were even wet. I asked the front desk if we could have a different room and he said “all the rooms are like that.” My family and I did not sleep well due to feeling damp all throughout the night. I would not recommend staying here until this issue is fixed.

• Debra (10/5): Hide away - My sister and I loved how big the room was even had a couch lol We were only going to stay one night but plans changed to go to mora mn, we asked if we could extend our stay and no problem even go a discount. Always wanted to stay here when I was going through town and just driving through. Also there's a Perkins restaurant next door. You really wouldn't have to go anywhere if you just wanted to get away and be by yourself. The breakfast offered just right. I can't say enough and I have stayed in a lot of different places so far your number one. Thanks. Nothing very nice.

Getting worn out, bottom of door damaged, tub cracked, lots of dents and dings all over the room.Nice patio and chairs and table in front. Perkins next door is very convenient. This place needs a remodel. Expensive for what you get but entire Red Wing area is overpriced in the summer. Pool is nice. Years ago this place was a luxury themed suite hotel and I stayed here and it was nice and beautiful. Now it’s a worn out basic stay hotel.

We had to move our reservation to a different weekend after being sick during our original reservation. They changed it for us, no issues at all!
