Guest Reviews
- David (3/5): - Location Small tv, no blow dryer, no shampoo in shower, no ironing board
- Antonio (1/5): Bad service p - Wasn't clear it was smoking room i am very allergic to smoke complain to clerk to get another room room had smoke holes on blanket left 3am could not fall asleep in room for 200.00 bad service would not stay or recommend motel 6 to anyone
- Stacey (7/5): -
- Octaviano (10/5): -
- Stephanie (10/5): Was worth the $$ I paid - Clean and quiet I could smell the dogs in the next room over
- Helmy (8/5): reasonable, average , needs improvement - the price, and housekeeping turned the room over every day i was there the hotel does bot check bags :/
- Michael (6/5): Great location, grounds clean, rooms ok, and poor customer service - This is a great location close to Waxahachie, the highway, and Scarborough Faire The property is kept mostly clean. Of course you can’t expect much from a motor-inn. But it was kept up pretty well however parts of the room weren’t very clean, there were odd repairs done to parts of the room. The bed sheets were obviously old and worn and they didn’t feel very clean. The bathroom needed a little more cleaning and the one thing they were missing were towel hooks to hang your wet towel.
The guy at the front desk wasn’t very friendly at all. He didn’t welcome us, didn’t seem to know fully what he was doing, and at the end, just said “That’s all.”
- Daniel (5/5): -
- Musyimi (10/5): Was fine because I was away most of the time, just came to shower and sleep 3 hours and off. - It was quiet and well managed - it is always good to find the room tidy I did not like that there was no kettle, iron box, microwave and atleast a couch in the room to relax.
- collinsworth (10/5): Quiet stay clean room and friendly staff - Nice Clean and quiet
- Alyssa (7/5): -

- Chavez (7/5): - So so The front desk
- Melyssa (10/5): Convenient, affordable and comfortable. - Liked that there was outdoor access that I didnt have to walk my dog through the lobby to walk him we could go right out the door to the pet area. I don’t have any complaints.
- Roberts Jr (10/5): -
- Lauren (5/5): - It was quiet and you get what you pay for. The staff was nice. There was no dresser/drawers in our room. The heat was touchy and we had to keep unplugging the unit and resetting it to get it to work. The pillows were extremely thin (we forgot to bring ours from home like normal) and when we asked for extra pillows they said they didn't have any. Overall, this place is clean, quiet, in a good location, no breakfast, and you get what you pay for as far as room amenities. There was a refrigerator and microwave.
- Jeanie (10/5): It was very good - The location was very convenient to the rest of our trip
- Truxillo (10/5): -
- Tania (6/5): -
- Jaime Marie (1/5): WOULD NOT EVER STAY THERE AGAIN! - DID NOT EAT THERE THE ROOM WAS VERY DIRTY, BOTH SHOWER & SINK HAD GROSS HAIR ALL OVER PLUS SHAMPOO AND CONDITIONER AND HAND SOAP DISPENSERS WERE COMPLETELY EMPTY. BUT THE WORST PART WAS THE ROACHES ALL OVER . IT WAS GROSS TO SAY THE LEAST.
- Kecie (10/5): -
- Deb (2/5): - Nothing Beds are uncomfortable... just a bad experience overall
- Warren (10/5): -
- Gisselle (10/5): -
- Patricia (8/5): - Price was affordable, clean, and staff was polite. No breakfast but they did have coffee.
- Christy (5/5): -
- Fox (1/5): -
- Aileen (1/5): There were so many roaches - Roaches
- Ahmad (10/5): - The price The Tv never work
- Rawls (8/5): -
- Yokie (8/5): Will stay again. - No light in shower. Sink in bathroom doesn’t drain well.
- Doris (4/5): Changed Hotels mid stay - No breakfast, floors left my feet black after walking over from the bathroom
- Ricky (5/5): Good place for a shower and sleep, not much of anything else. - Clean Very basic. T.V. Remote did not work. No Kleenex and very outdated !
- Christopher (4/5): - For how much the room cost I would’ve thought at least the floors would be clean. The bedspread had multiple cigarette burns in it.
- Jay (2/5): - Beds were made daily but towels were not washed, they just folded the towels and put them back in their place, sheets not washed and replaced along with pillowcases. Shower curtain was disgusting.
- MGwenC (8/5): - Location Musty room, ac not turned on so room hot on arrival.
- Jackie (10/5): - Nice , lean and affordable .
- amy (1/5): -
- lejeune (1/5): Gross - Nasty, a roach in the bathtub. No toilet paper and the tv didn’t work even by just pressing the power button. Nothing!!
I will never go here again or use bookings.com Nasty.. old.. over used and not kept up
- Djjamminjb (10/5): -
- Rebecca (8/5): - Clean room. Bright parking lot when we returned late at night. Some guy was hanging around during the day but seemed pretty harmless. Kind of difficult to find the exit and where to enter. The toilet didn’t flush well but just needed help to fill up the tank. But needed a room for the night worked out well.
- Patti (2/5): After a very long day, we were pretty disappointed with this location. - The beds were pretty comfortable. The property was easy to get to. The staff were friendly upon check in and while reporting issues with the room. We were not notified upon arrival that there was no hot water. The AC unit did not keep the room temperature cool. There is food on the floor under the table. As trivial as it sounds, the TV had hardly any sound even turned all the way up to max volume. There was hair in the bathtub. We were finally notified after midnight that there was hot water. Upon waking up this morning, moved the covers and there was a dead roach on the bed next to me.
- Kyle (6/5): - Room was ok, served its purpose.
- Catherine (6/5): - was very quiet and safe. We had a snake come up thru drain of tub but it didnt stick around long lol. only thing i would have wanted while staying there was a way to hook my steaming devise up to the tv. if we could have done that stay would have been perfect.
- Catherine (8/5): - would have been perfect if i could have hooked streaming devise to tv so my deaf husband could have watched tv with me.
- Mark (8/5): - good
- Robyn (4/5): - There were roaches in the room and on the bed. But luckily they did change our room.
- Joseph Ross (8/5): - Good to sleep at
- Alejandra (2/5): - They room was full of roaches on the floor and on the bed sheets. It was a little scary looking sketchy. But they were kind enough to change our room.
- Bobb (2/5): - Not a safe place.
- Charles (4/5): - Price was ok but no amenities at all.
- Christine (8/5): Great basic needs stay - Close to downtown Waxahachie! Room was clean & great AC. Staff very helpful & attentive.
- Kristen (8/5): All good but the TV sucks! - You get what you pay for, it was a decent hotel for the price. The TV was the worst though. I assume folks are using this hotel as a longer term stay or they get stuff stolen from here, but the TV had this built in type box to ensure they TV stayed with the room... downside, on the HIGHEST volume setting of 90... yes, 90... it sounded like it was in a box... and couldn't hear most of the conversation especially when AC was on... which, it's Texas, of course it's always running. Other than that, it was a decent stay for the cost.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - We stayed overnight and it was good. Room was clean, bathroom was clean. For a motel, the conditions were great.
- Allen (5/5): -
- Joe (4/5): - Very little the staff was nice. The doors and curbs are not American disabilities Act accessible, my father had to get help from strangers and rig a ramp to go in and out of the door.
- Robert (10/5): - Bed was ok.
- Ashley (5/5): Property was nice but the staff and pricing was a little questionable. - Has a pet relief area and a pool as well as coffee in the morning. The prices changes from day to day and the deposit is $100 versus $50 at other motel 6’s.
- Wesley (4/5): I’d rather sleep in my car - I booked a room with a king bed for one night and checked in around 7pm. When I got into the room it smelled like something had died . There was no king bed, it had two double beds instead. The beds were uncomfortable, just a thin mattress on a piece of wood, no box springs. The tv was mounted on a piece of rotten wood and attached to the wall. I turned the AC on and opened the door to air the room out for a few minutes but that didn’t help the odor problem. I opened the fridge and immediately discovered the source of the smell. Someone left food in it and unplugged it. The food was covered in mold so I set it outside far away from my room and plugged the fridge back in. The fridge never got cold and it made loud noises all night. I went to sleep and woke up a few hours later to use the restroom, when I turned on the lights hundreds of roaches were all over the bathroom. I was hoping to sleep in but I couldn’t get back to sleep due to the loud fridge and bright led outside my window. I layed there until about 5am and decided to leave. Went to front desk to complain and check out but nobody was there. A phone number was taped to the locked door so I called several times but no answer. I waited 30 minutes and just left. Horrible and disgusting place!!
- Lara (8/5): - The staff were friendly and courteous and checked me in and out very quickly.
The sink was extra large and the tap extended over to the center of the sink, making it very easy to get your hands under the stream of water. The bathroom countertop is about 6 feet long.
The table and countertop surfaces, bathroom, and floor were clean, but the bottom half of the walls was grubby. The bed had plenty of sheets and blankets, but the fitted sheet was worn in several spots.
As a single female, I didn't feel safe going outside in the evening.
Parking is limited if you have a vehicle that is 21 feet or longer.
The motel provides free coffee in the morning but no breakfast.
- Rivera (10/5): Exactamente todo esta bien - Me gusta el servicio que dan
- Chris (10/5): -
- Ashley (5/5): -
- Jackie (2/5): - Would not take to my reservation because I did not have my drivers license
- Brandi (10/5): - I really like this place if I need something They find a way to accommodate me. It’s a budget friendly but most budget friendly places are sticky floor and nasty. This place is very clean safe and the staff is pleasant. Highly recommend. I’ve stated other Motel sixes nothing has compared they’re good.
- Jo (8/5): - The room was cleaned everyday which was very nice! There does need to be repairs inside the room, and som "sprucing up" outside. For the price it was good, clean, comfortable bed.
- Danny (10/5): - Great place.
- Susan (8/5): - The room was spacious, although the bathroom was small. The presence of a microwave and refrigerator was much appreciated, and there was even a small table and 2 chairs in the room. Overall, good value for the cost.
- Nicki (4/5): - The housekeepers did/do a great job which is how the motel got the 2 stars. The pool wasnt very clean. The room was clean but the tv didn't work properly, the bed spreads had holes all in them, luggage rack wouldn't even stand up. The man needed my debit card for incidentals, but really I should have gotten some sort of refund it was misrepresented online. The front desk employee was horrible. People would walk in and stand at the counter for some time before just leaving out. He did not let my son and I check in until 3:05. we did show up at 130, which is early, but if I wouldnt have already paid online I would have gave up the dirty pool for breakfast at the Super 8 next door anyday! I would look for somewhere else if you have the option. This hotel is only good if your in a bind and have to stay somewhere.
- Maria (6/5): - Pleasant service from the reception... comfortable rooms with padded beds, pleasant atmosphere, pool... perfect for spending the night while traveling, everything you need.
- Kirstin (10/5): -
- Katrina (3/5): Won’t stay there again, too much money for a shitty hotel - The little TVs the channels didn’t work, if you have 2 beds in 1 room why only put 2 towels in there. An there was also roaches an ppl outside drinking an talking loud
- patty (9/5): - Location It was ok
- Gerardo (2/5): - there was mold in the AC vent, the sheets were dirty and had a cigarette burn in it
- Julie (6/5): it was good for price but we did have to change rooms because the blanket was dirty in one bed and the bathroom wall had - it was easy access off highway. Enjoyed the pool the walls were very dirty in the room.
- Dewayne (10/5): - The housekeeping staff is friendly and check on you daily. Family of 4 with 4 dogs in 2 rooms. 4 week 3 day stay while waiting for our house to get ready for move in. Ample areas for dogs to get outside for a walk. 2 ways into town and the conveniences there-of depending on needs. Easy access North 35, 287, and business 287/Main St.. Everything within 5-10 minutes. Weekly rates and final daily rates were reasonable. Front desk will make accommodations if available. Quiet for the most part. Work crews and other long stayers are sociable and generally good people. I miss my personal bed...
- George (10/5): Exceptional -
- Robert (2/5): - I showed up in room. No pillows, TV remote didn't work with TV. Only 1 towel. No shampoo, no blow dryer. I had to go to the office 3 times. Over all not good. Guess that's what you get at Motel 6
- Bethanie (8/5): - Staff is good need better enforcement with long term guests with their dogs not on leashes. Washing machine and dryer doesn't work. Shoud upgrade vending machines to accept cards.
- Deb (3/5): Poor - For the price it was horrible. The beds are like sleeping on plywood.. the pillows well they were just as bad. Very uncomfortable... the bathroom is extremely small, so small you have to go outside to change your mind. The staff very friendly... so for the most the stay was decent. Just the not for the price The beds are like sleeping on plywood.. they are horrible and very uncomfortable
- Bobb (2/5): - Next door neighbor was smoking skunk weed. Other neighbors had loud kids. We asked to be moved and they wouldn’t move us. They said we will tell them to be quiet. We asked not to clean our room and while we were gone they came in and cleaned. Coffee maker was only in lobby and the coffee maker was dirty. We could hear the freeway all night since our room was facing the street
- Raquel (2/5): Last time staying here. - First time I couldn’t sleep well, had to leave the light on. I don’t think they wash the linen.
- Thomas (10/5): - Very nice place to stay.
The baytery in the smoke detector started beeping and it was fixed ASAP. Made a huge difference in my visit and i am greatly appreciative.
- Bermudez (5/5): Passable -
- james (8/5): - We were just passing thru and getting a rest before moving on. All was well n is pet friendly.
- Cindy (10/5): - We stayed in room #104
Very nice room with a very large bathroom with a lot of hand rails for an accessible room. Most comfortable bed so far on this trip. I would definitely recommend this Motel 6 as a stopping point.
- Carol (8/5): - We just needed a place for one night and didn’t want to spend a lot. The place was a bit rundown but the room was clean and we felt safe in the neighborhood. It served our purpose and if we needed to we’d stay again.
- Thomas (2/5): Very poor -
- Christy (10/5): - Clean and peaceful stay
- Aubrey (8/5): Have stayed at location several times and I have never had a bad experience have never had - Close to the freeway, Non congested very affordable
- Chris (6/5): - Place was semi clean, but had a few bugs when we arrived. Had a bit of a language barrier at check in but we managed. The walls are super thin and the people beside us were very loud late into the night
- Jerry (5/5): Passable - They need a way to get out of pool and get rid of the rough surface of the pool
- Shantell (10/5): - Clean
- Jason (2/5): - Unsafe and terrible. Management was extremely rude and i want a refund.
- Denise (10/5): Exceptional - The bed was extremely comfortable
- ervin (4/5): - Room was ok service was trash very rude people at the front desk
