- Stacey (10/5): - We originally had Airbnb accommodations for that night. When we arrived we did NOT feel safe so I had to make immediate reservations. My niece came across Hotel Ibaïa and we booked a reservation. It was beautifully designed, spotless and very quiet. We had an extremely long and stressful day and needed to be somewhere safe. We walked along the beach, ordered a pizza not too far away. The hotel was exactly what we need. Thank You, Hotel Ibaia!

- Caroline (8/5): - The hotel was fine, the rooms are quite small and have a bit of an institutional feel to them, not as nice as the pictures suggest. There was a damp smell in our room and strange smell in the communal areas. There is very limited space to put your clothes as no drawer space, we were there for 5 days in high summer so had quite a lot of stuff. The balcony was a big plus and we ate out there several times. I was disappointed that the bar was never open; the staff seemed confused when I asked. Breakfast was very expensive, good value though if you can eat so much in the morning! we mostly used the beach cabins. Pool is nice but very cold, its a long time since I've been in an unheated pool! The best thing about this hotel is the location which is second to none. Bus services to get around and the outstanding Euskotren are cheap and reliable. Don't bank on ever getting a taxi!

- Anne (6/5): Empfehlenswert mit Abstrichen. - Positiv: Sehr schöne Lage nur ein paar Meter vom Strand entfernt. Bequemes Bett, grosszügiges, schön eingerichtetes Zimmer und grosses, helles Bad. Zimmer sauber. Sehr reichhaltiges Frühstücksbuffet für 10 Euro - z.B. mit frischgepresstem Orangensaft, Mini-Croissants, etc. Gepflegte Poolanlage. Wifi-Geschwindigkeit gut (zum Arbeiten). Eher negativ: Zimmer dunkel wegen dunkel gestrichener Wände. Einige Reparaturen wären nötig (lockere Seifenhalter, abbröckelnde Farbe im WC). Bei meiner Ankunft: Zimmerboden noch nass und Balkon inkl. Stuhl voller Taubendreck. Erst nach Notiz an Putzequipe wurde der Balkon gesäubert. Personal eher reserviert, Frühstücks-Equipe nicht spürbar. Mein Zimmer lag auf der Rückseite zur Strasse - eher laut am Morgen und Abend, obwohl das Quartier ein Wohnquartier ist. Immer noch Old-School "Shampoo-/Seifenfläschchen" (Plastikmüll!) statt Spender in der Dusche. Keine Möglichkeit, im Hotel Müll zu trennen (hoffe, das Personal hats übernommen). Handtücher wurden täglich getauscht, obwohl per Schild gebeten wurde, sich ökologisch zu verhalten und ich die Handtücher habe hängen lassen.

À distance de marche de tout, gentillesse des gens, multitude de restaurants à proximité..et surtout...La boulangerie "La chocolatine" et les employées toujours souriantes...
- Emily (8/5): Pleasant Stay - We stopped in Hendaye for one night on a drive up through France. The hotel was well located - close to the beach and in a quiet neighborhood. The room was clean and spacious with a nice balcony. We traveled with our four month old baby and they had a perfect crib for him. We didn't have time to try any amenities like the pool, fitness, etc but they seemed well equipped. The staff was friendly and spoke English. My only complaint was the curtains were flimsy and we woke up at 6 am, not because of the baby but because of the sun rise.

Hay un pequeño bar con cosas d comer al lado d la piscina que abre solo en verano.La habitacion sencilla pero confortable y con un pequeño balcon con vistas al puerto deportivo.El desayuno algo escaso para 10€.El personal sabe español.

- Janerik (10/5): Ett trevligt stopp på vår resa söderut. - Det här blev en trevlig överraskning på vår resa. 2 nätter kunde gott ha varit fler. Bilen i garaget under hotellet, snabbt upp till rummet och ännu snabbare ut till den sköna poolen. Finns en liten kiosk ute mot vägen med glass, läsk/öl och lättare mat. Ett skapligt utbud med restauranger i området och mycket mer mot cityhållet. Vi hamnade mitt i en folkdansuppvisning. Nästa morgon efter en skaplig frukost var det stranden som gällde. Varmt och skönt i vattnet och lagom långgrunt. Här njöt vi av sol och bad och tittade över vattnet mot San Sebastian på den spanska sidan. 2 mysiga dagar innan vi körde över Pyreneerna till Spanien.

Par contre le petit déjeuner est largement insuffisant: Le jus de fruit est horrible, les fruits sont sans saveur car ils ont passé trop de temps au réfrigérateur, le fromage est un bas de gamme de supermarché, le jambon sans saveur. Le café n'est pas bon et surtout les machines sont en partie en panne.

- Anna (6/5): - nos fallo un poco la recepcionista del dia que nos marchabamos.... porque con el problemilla que tuvimos creo que ella se tendria que haber movido mas, y si no me lo llegan a solucionar por telefono me quedo alli...
- PATRICK (8/5): - + Hôtel bien situé ; personnel agréable - Manque flagrant d'entretien du bâtiment (peinture extérieure défraichie, vitre du double vitrage de la chambre cassée, plinthe du sas d'accès de la chambre décollée)

- Antonietta (10/5): Profesional service, and Friendly. - Upon arrival I get a perfect room, but it had no privacy curtains. This problem was immediately solved by changing my room, to which it had a gorgeous beach view. Easy 1 min walk to the beach and restaurants. I really enjoyed the professionalism of reception and the fact that this place made me feel very comfortable.
