- Joanne (9/5): I would stay there again. - Central location, staff was able extremely warm, pleasant and helpful. The room and beds were very comfortable. Immaculate. Complimentary coffee all day, and cookies upon arrival! Wooden bed frames extend beyond the bed, so we stubbed toes and banged knees on them before we realized it. The room was on the small side.

- Sean (9/5): A bright, clean pop of maritime freshness — loved it - Mystic is beautiful and this hotel was immaculate. Ultra clean, fresh, modern and a lovely place to stay. There was nothing I didn’t like. I think breakfast could have been provided for the price tag. The staff seemed friendly although I didn’t have many interactions during a short stay.
- kimberley (7/5): I had a very nice day at the Whalers Inn. The location and restaurant on site are fabulous. I thought some things could - I love that the property was in close proximity to town. All of the shops are restaurants are within walking distance and it is a beautiful area. room was clean and spacious. I did not like the ventilation system, (hot, and humid, ) and the rugs were filthy. no elevator, was placed on the third floor.

- Diane (10/5): Amazing time. We will be back. - Everything is so convenient. We loved the short getaway. I prefer at least one bar soap.
- Pamela (10/5): Exceptional location. Hope to visit again soon. - Exceptional location and staff. Room was clean and spacious. Bed very comfortably. Worth every penny. Parking was tight but the staff was right there to help find you a spot. Taxes on room were very high, but that is not their fault.

- David (9/5): Great location, only an hours’ trip from our home. - Location, friendly staff, very clean, comfortable bed. No elevator, l’m a senior citizen with bad knees, but l wouldn’t let stop me from returning.
- Laura (10/5): Wonderful experience - Convenience and staff was more than accommodating
- Donna (10/5): -
- Paul (5/5): Disappointing. - Bar was excellent. Had cocktails and food after our event. The bar staff was pleasant, professional and the cocktails were top shelf. Breakfast was terrible. We both ordered dishes with sausage. It was inedible. Overcooked and lacked flavor. Went to Nanna's for breakfast. Server was very pleasant and did not charge for the sausage. Our sleep was interrupted by an upstairs guest who was yelling and sounded intoxicated. We called the front desk and they attempted to quiet the guest down. Expected better clientele. Very disappointed.

- Christine (10/5): A perfect stay in a picturesque village. Lived the cookies, hot chocolate and the hospitality. - Perfectly located in the heart of the seaport. Restaurants, shopping and sites within walking distance. It was all good.
- Richard (10/5): -
- Tara (8/5): - The location is perfect. It is within walking distance to shopping and the restaurants. The walls are thin and we could hear the guests in the room next door talking.
- kassie (7/5): It was overpriced for an outdated building. - An elevator. Stairs were narrow and rugs were dirty.
- Peter (9/5): -
- Jennifer (10/5): We will be back! - Restaurant was excellent. Inn was clean and comfortable. Staff was great. Very friendly and helpful.
- Martin (10/5): -
- Daniel (8/5): Excellent location for an easy to walk village getaway - The Staff was very helpful, and the lobby amenities were very comfortable. The proximity of the hotel to theBascule bridge, downtown Mystic and the Seaport Museum made the entire stay walkable and very convenient. The room was a little on the small side for the price point and the bathroom was a touch dated.
- Daniel (7/5): - Location is great Room was clean Carpet in hallway and steps was in need of replacement
- Dr sue (8/5): - Location & charm Very tiny bathroom
- Tim (10/5): Love this place. Very comfortable and quiet. - Very clean All good
- Alexandra (10/5): -
- Nancy (8/5): Would stay here again! Very nice stay, room clean, beautiful location but cost is high for what you get. - Beautiful setting and very clean! No room service and nothing complementary in comparison to the cost.
- DURINDA (6/5): Great location however didn't feel like it was worth the price. - Can't beat the location, can walk to numerous shops and restaurants. Unfortunately, we were very underwhelmed with our room. Room was large however furniture was cheap looking, didn't match, all and all just wasn't pleasing. Bed linens smelled very strongly of bleach, nice to know that they were clean, however the smell was so strong that it bothered my sleep. Linens were also rough, not soft at all. Bathroom didn't have any place for toiletries, mirror was discolored around the edges, light had rust on it and lighting wasn't great for putting on makeup. Bedroom window didn't have any sheers, other that heavier curtains. Because there was no sheers, we had to basically keep the curtains closed for privacy since our room was directly across from Bravo Bravo.

- Stephen (10/5): - Awesome place. Great service and lication. Onsite restaurant was great.
- Mary Ann (8/5): Perfect fall weekend getaway - walk to everything ! - Great location - nice front porch ! The hotel is clean and well taken care of The room was a bit dated

- susan (10/5): Excellent stay within one minute walk into downtown Mystic!! - Breakfast was very good !!
- Scott (9/5): -
- Shirley (6/5): - The room was clean but the bathroom very small with no place to store toiletries. Sink backed up
- Jeffery (10/5): -
- ruth (4/5): - Unfortunately we didn't have good luck here. We had a room close to the office. The windows faced the street. It was so loud. You can also hear conversation in the next room clear as day. The room wasn't clean. We had two nights but couldn't even stay both nights. For the money it's not worth it. Wish we stayed anywhere else.
- Heather (10/5): - This place was a 12/10. A cute little inn right in downtown Mystic that was walkable to anything you could possibly need. The staff was great at both the inn and the attached restaurant, The Shipwright's Daughter. The building we stayed in did have musty smelling carpet in the hallways, uneven floors, and we had to climb the stairs to our room, none of which bothered us but could be a potential deal-breaker for some. We would definitely consider staying here again if we make it back up to Mystic. Whilst this review is for the inn itself, I can't say enough good things about Mystic. My husband and I loved everything about it.
- Mary (10/5): - The Whalers Inn is convenient to everything, it's very comfortable & the staff is more than pleasant they are very helpful.
- Mary (10/5): - Fabulous property. Staff extremely nice & helpful. Beautiful Mystic.
- Chris (10/5): - Excellent, right downtown
- Alexandre (9/5): -
- Christine (8/5): -
- Bradford (10/5): - excellent
- Liz (9/5): Enjoyed our stay at The Whalers Inn - would recommend. - The location was perfect for exploring downtown Mystic. Loved the style of The Whalers Inn (classic New England.) Staff was very friendly. Perhaps a small continental breakfast could be offered with the stay.
- Timothy (8/5): - Nice place. Didn't care for the clock alarm going off at 6am, staff should insure those aren't set since the guest won't be familiar with it.
- Sean (10/5): Great 5th Anniversary surprise for my wife. - The location is perfect. The staff is friendly and attentive, the rooms are clean and comfortable. And the complimentary cookies are amazing. Can’t think of a thing.
- Debbie (10/5): -
- Lori (10/5): - Loved everything about this property - incredible location, amazing staff and beautiful facility! Very comfortable beds! Will stay again if we ever return to Mystic :)
- Light (10/5): -
- Patricia (10/5): The Whalers Inn gives comfort, intimacy and understated luxury while maintaining its sense of histor - The location is great: in the heart of the quaint heart of Mystic near the Mystic River and dozens of shops and restaurants. The restaurant on site was stellar. The hotel’s historic old buildings are meticulously restored and well kept. It has a nice feeling of intimacy for its size. The hotel could use more parking. Almost all guests arrive by car and, as the hotel has added rooms, the onsite parking is barely enough.
- Dana (10/5): -
- H1130CDcarlag (6/5): Great staff and a comfortable stay - Clean and secure with a nice pool. Staff is amazingly friendly, helpful, and responsive and I'd go back just for that. Ambiance is a bit lacking as the place feels like a college dorm or nursing home that was re-decorated into a hotel. And I would have liked real furniture rather than shelves. Also, I don't care for hotel rooms where this sink is in the room (as this one was), but that's just a personal preference. It's a convenient drive to downtown Mystic.
- Cheryl (10/5): The Whalers Inn met all of our vacation needs. The central location was convenient to walk around town and most other sp - Perfect location I liked all of it - no complaints
- Sonia Jones (9/5): Fabulous hotel in a fantastic location - This is an iconic hotel right in the heart of Mystic overlooking the river. Fabulous hotel, clean, stylish, luxurious, large rooms and friendly staff. The location couldn't be any better! We loved our stay here. There are no elevators so this was a problem for my elderly parents in law but I had emailed in advance and the amazing staff managed to reserve them a room on the ground floor. Some of the shared hallways could do with a bit of an update.
- David (8/5): - Great location but the property is very dated particularly for their price point
- Deirdre (10/5): - Difficult with stairs for disabled people
- John (10/5): -
- Karl (5/5): - The room was damp.
- Craig (10/5): - I liked the fact that they offered free EV charging.
- Clara (10/5): - We enjoyed staying at the Whaler’s Inn. Great location. Comfortable room. Very friendly staff. The restaurant in the property is really amazing too!
- Robin (10/5): - Phenomenally cute place and friendly staff an adorable town
- Kenton (9/5): -
- David (10/5): - c
- Melissa (8/5): Overall, we had a wonderful stay! The above are just suggestions to help guests have a more comfortable stay. - Can’t beat the location! Showers are too small. Glass doors May help with providing a little more room, as the shower curtain sticks to you because the shower is so tiny.
Refrigerator was unplugged, so we lost all our food before realizing it wasn’t working.
All rooms should be stocked with three bath towels, if there are two guests. Most women use two (one for hair).
The full wooden bed frames were an issue. Both my husband and I kept stubbing our toes on the foot of the bed. To the point we’re I had a black big toe by the end of our stay. I know it sounds silly, but OUCH! Hope our next door neighbors didn’t hear the obscenities every time it happened!
