The.breakfast buffet is nicely prepared and and generous. Love the waffles!! I think Sleep Inn represents the best value for the dollar! If there is a minus it would be the bathroom sink is not contained

Young (10/5): Lived up to the excellent reviews. - Steven (breakfast) and Malea (reception) provided exceptional service. They were incredibly accommodating clearly prioritizing the guest's comfort. All of the staff were welcoming. The Inn was clean and well maintained. While gentle wear was evident, the patina was pleasant rather than detracting from the atmosphere. The fireplace in the common room was wonderfully warm with the sudden cold snap. The pool and hot tub were clean and refreshing. The laundry room was reasonably priced if incredibly tiny. Not much! Yet, due to the cold weather staff kept the fire blazing in the fireplace all night. The heat rose to the second floor and kept it quite warm. By 3 am my husband felt like a volcano so we had to run the AC in the room a little. No biggie, just a circumstance of the storm. If a person is prone to overheating perhaps request a room on the first or third floor (not exposed to lower level heat variations) in the winter.

Difficult left-turn due to heavy (and fast) traffic.

But the staff were very friendly and helpful and the breakfast was the best we’ve seen/had at a hotel. The hotel was also a good price for how close it was to everything.

James (7/5): We enjoyed our stay - but would not return if a bike rack is not added. - Bed was good. Breakfast was better than expected - and really liked the coffee available 24 hours. Very easy access to Tart Trail bike path. Hotel should have a bike rack. We had to keep our bikes on the car bike rack for our car for the entire stay - which meant we had to take them everywhere we drove. This was a major inconvenience. We weren't able to use our Roku with the room television. There was a problem with our keys not working on the second day of our stay.

Rauls (1/5): - When I looked for Traverse Bay for hotels I thought it would be traverse Bay. Found out different during the day when I could get internet. Called immediately after I noticed Traverse City. Talked with the desk person and she said I needed to have a 24 hour notice. I made the reservation thinking it was Traverse Bay I told her. She said that's our policy. Probably made the reservation 2 hrs. prior to when I talked with her. I'm sure I'm not the only customer that has had an issue like this. I did take an insurance policy out for canceling. I requested a copy and Never received one. Please take note of this and correct it... I'm watching for charges to me on my C/C. Which I will dispute.
