- Kathi (9/5): - Staff of great young people, who were friendly and helpful ☺️.
Location on river is wonderful!
- Weyers (7/5): -
- Michelle (4/5): Bulbs burnt out in room - No conditioner in shower. Black.hair in shower. Pillows smelled dirty. No kleenex in room. Eggs were hard. Milk smelled bad. At check in was in line behind four guests. When she got to us she stated she had to take phone call first. We had already been standing long period of time.
- Dawn (8/5): Can't beat the price for a quick overnight while traveling. - Very convenient off of highway. The room was clean and quiet. Breakfast eggs were cold and hard, but sausage was ok.

- Olson (10/5): - Staff is excellent Breakfast eggs were dry

- Jennifer (3/5): Stayed there on a whim passing through and were glad it was just one night stay. - The location was nice. Our room stunk! The carpet was so wet everywhere in the room it made my socks wet.
- Erin (9/5): Felt like we were the only ones there, it was so quiet! - It was small, clean, and quiet. The air in the room felt fresh even though it was incredibly humid outside.
- Caleb (1/5): Yuck! Won’t be staying here again!!! Not worth $100… maybe $50 if you’re hard up! - Nothing Sheets feel old and dirty and so do the towels! Floors are dirty in the lobby and probably the room too!
- Orville (10/5): - The room was very clean and very pretty. I would definitely stay there again. The breakfast was good. It was a very cozy facility.
- Irend (5/5): - Clean Pool was busy so many people at a time. Good thing staff checked PH as it seems some guests may have come straight from work to enjoy the pool and hot tub
- Warren (6/5): Slept well but not a very updated dite - Clean bed Breakfast basic. Crowded and not easy to access. Juice was gone and no one to replenish. All the lights in our room would only turn off with the switch at the door. So we had to unscrew bulbs to dim some lites. Shower had just heavy pulse water and it ran outside the curtain and drenched the floor.
- Tom (9/5): -
- Marco (10/5): Great stay - Very clean and newly remodeled room Nothing
- Lesly (10/5): -
- Dandurand (10/5): - Ends too early. We got in late and didn't want to get to early we were exhausted and if your are on vacation not everyone gets up that early. Some people need rest. It's ridiculous to end breakfast so early. Breakfast that ends later. We understand employees have other things to do but keep out some muffins and yogurt at least. We pay alot for hotel rooms and can't get in a free breakfast because we are exhausted. I blew the engine in my car and had enough going on and never ate dinner or breakfast.
- Guest (8/5): poor snow plowing - breakfast poor Snow plowing not good
- Jacqueline (8/5): -
- Gail (4/5): Will not stay here again unless they update the basics..will read future reviews to see if better.. - Breakfast was good Carpeting wore out in halls, fitted sheet off and mattress pad with minimal movement..The carpets on stairs and in room looked like they hadnt been vacuumed ...black hair on bathroom floor and 6-7 pubic hairs easily noticed when sitting on toilet right off the bat before anyone undressed...A note in bathroom about nitrates in water. They should put two bottles complimentary bottled water. They did have primo water and cups in hallway..but provide in room ..no one wants to leave room at nite for a healthy glass of water
- Michelle (10/5): -
- Connie (7/5): - Eggs
- Mary (2/5): I would not stay here again. - Location was good for the wedding we attended. Staff was friendly. Room was stuffy.
Bathtub leaked and the tub was in poor condition.
Reused card holders.
- Ly (8/5): -
- Dalvir Singh (10/5): - Convenient
- Cristopher (10/5): -
- Chandler (5/5): Probably won’t stay here again. - A/C worked well. Bed was very comfortable. Shower had good water pressure. Staff were very nice. Great location. Wi fi didn’t work. Carpet throughout hotel was dirty. Pool was freezing, hot tub was scalding! Breakfast was pitiful, window blind was a pain. Was told no housekeeping during long stays but they showed up twice when I didn’t expect it. Someone was cooking in their room with the door open and the entire hotel stunk from it. Even my room smelled. I was not happy with this hotel.
Cost not worth it.
- Kaitlyn (10/5): - Very clean, safe, and very easy booking. Staff were very nice very easy checking in and out. Had zero issues! Definitely will stay here again if I travel back to the eau claire area!!!
- Jessica (10/5): - Na
- Andrea (8/5): - very convenient for Country Jam. Breakfast choices could of been better.
- Thomas (5/5): Adequate for my needs--nothing I would seek out again most likely. - Location works well just off the interstate. Breakfast was average--nothing special. Two areas of concern: the room had a musty smell or odor upon entering it. Apparently it rarely gets aired out. The
bottom of the shower is slippery when wet, and it could easily lead to a fall. I know the bottom has a varied and
somewhat rougher surface, but it is not enough to prevent slipping.
- John (2/5): - Sink was clogged, couldn't find staff everytime went to the front, blood stains on pillows,no soaps, hair in thehottub in the room, door wouldn't lock all the way
- Carrie (10/5): Thank You to Your Team! - We stay here every year for Country Jam, it's a great location and the staff is amazing. We appreciate them more than they know.
- nbranyas (10/5): - Got a room on first floor as requested as my husband has some handicap. Staff very helpful and morning coffee hot and great!
- Dwight (8/5): - Staff very helpful
- Kris (5/5): Passable -
- Jon (8/5): - A really good hotel for the price. I highly recommend it.
- Khan (8/5): Very good -
- Paul (6/5): Pleasant - Breakfast wasn't much
- Lisa (4/5): - First, please note that there is no elevator available in this hotel. Rooms on the ground floor were being given to young families, and when we arrived with a disabled 77-year-old, the front desk staff attempted to put us on the second floor. Children were running and screaming along the walkway immediately behind where we were standing at the front desk, and there was a massive amount of pool water puddled on the tile floor that we had to navigate to get to our room. No one was addressing the situation of the running and screaming children or the standing water on the tile floor. The room was ok. It was nothing to brag about, but it seemed moderately clean. The carpets were very damp, which was unpleasant. Upon turning the bedding back, a small bug ran across the sheets. I was really upset with this situation. I looked for more bugs in both beds and did not see more, but that doesn't mean much.
On the outside of the hotel, empty alcohol containers and cigarette butts were sitting on the ledge by the bench near the front doors.
Overall, I would not recommend this hotel. For the price I paid, we could've stayed somewhere and enjoyed a much nicer experience.
- Lisa (6/5): - Very quiet. I did not have the opportunity to use the swimming pool so I cannot rate that. Our bathtub look like it was dirty, but it was just because it’s old and had a crack in it. Parts of the wall were falling down. The entranceway on the outside of the building is coming apart. And I was afraid to walk barefoot on the carpet as it felt very dirty.
- Kathryn (9/5): Superb - Perfect location, comfortable and enjoyed the pool and hot tub.
- kimberlywR7391IT (2/5): Gross avoid - Zero stars! This location is in a run down sketchy semi filled area. Front staff was sort of friendly. They have well water. You can’t drink it and don’t want to shower in it either, but that’s another story. This water situation should be made clear on the website in bold or immediately upon check in. The front desk clerk was sure to tell me about the fact the sheriff regularly patrols the hotel. At first appearance the hotel seems nice. The lobby, while being dated, still appeared nice. However, descending into the hallways you start to see the disrepair and lack of upkeep. They have cameras everywhere. This led me to believe there must be illegal activity on the regular and why there is a police presence. The rooms are run down and dirty. The sheets were dirty, and stained. I saw a rat trap in the laundry area. The lights in our room were malfunctioning. The bathroom was filthy with hair. I always bring Lysol so thanks to that we used the toilet but did not walk in the room without shoes or even think about the nasty hair filled shower. Slept on top of the comforter but overcome with anxiety over the state of the place. I trusted the Wyndham name but probably could have gotten equal or better quality at an economy motel. We were traveling across country and super tired. I wanted to leave upon entering our room and seeing the gross stained sign telling us about the well water situation, but my husband was too tired to fight with a “hotel” over refund. It just got worse and worse. It is way over priced for how disgusting this place is. The breakfast offered not one hot entree. The other offerings were quite limited. We left and went to Dunkin’ especially seeing the lack of cleanliness throughout. No need to get sick from the food. I will never stay at this brand of hotel again. Do not recommend it to others either.
- perrydp (10/5): Good Experience - Nice and clean enjoyed my stay. Would recommend for anyone in the area. Would stay there again. All good with my stay, nothing negative.
- Martin (10/5): - Nice place. Nice people. Quiet.
- Barbara (8/5): Very good -
- Seaside03848750034 (8/5): Nice hotel worth the money. - The room was very nice but the pillows were not. They were too soft. The heater didn't work properly but after toggling it between heat and cool we got it to work. The staff was friendly and helpful, the room was clean, and the towels were nice and fluffy. I would stay here again. I can't rate the breakfast as I had to leave at 5:00 am.
- trina (10/5): - Best place in eau Claire!!
- Nathan (10/5): - Pool was amazing, our suite was perfect for us. Loved the pancake machine too!
- Sinikka (7/5): Good - Easy access from freeway.
Breakfast was OK. There was an odd smell in the lobby. Perhaps some cleaning solution.
- Curiosity01094237190 (4/5): Avoid - Avoid if you can. Water smells like sewage. Double charged for pet friendly room. Front desk employee has no authority to fix. The property is pretty run down. Note in room says don’t drink the water. There is a Burger King and McDonald within walking distance.
- Debra (9/5): Good - Location
- Jan (8/5): Great stay - We have stayed here several times. Staff is always friendly. Our room was nice, but some areas need some updating. Breakfast was ok offering hot and cold items.
We were visiting family so we didn't use the pool.
We would stay here again.
- Anita (10/5): An ideal midway stop for our family travels. - Location. Affordable. Comfortable. Quiet night. Good breakfast. Family friendly.
- Ramos (10/5): Exceptional -
- Kayley (5/5): It was a decent stay for one night - Seemed clean Bed and pillows weren’t very comfortable
- Chris (10/5): - It’s close to the hospital for my appointments in the morning
- L8655CMjerryl (10/5): Another wonderful stay! - A very convenient location just off the interstate. Our two room suite with sofa, fireplace and jacuzzi tub was very comfortable. Room was clean and well cared for. We enjoyed the complimentary breakfast and in room coffee maker also. Will definitely stay here again.
- Jessica (3/5): Barely tolerable. - It had a good tv. *Starts with the water was not drinkable in the room, so obviously you can not trust the ice maker.
*They provide trolley carts but no elevator.
*The room was supposed to be 2 queens. They were fulls.
* The bedding was too small for the bed, and so the mattress liner and sheet kept pulling off the bed, revealing. Unknown body fluids on the mattress case. Which was disgusting.
*The rooms offered pump bottles of hand soap and lotion. Which was fine. Accept the soap was postioned near the light switch, and turning off the light, you would bump the pump, and soap would shoot out.
There are plenty of hotels in this price range stay elsewhere if you can.
- Patricio (8/5): Very good - Rooms Improve the scramble eggs
- A2370TMdanield (10/5): Business stay - Wonderful stay with friendly staff, spotless rooms, and a perfect location near attractions. Breakfast was delicious and service top-notch. Only downside—the walls are a pretty thin, so bring earplugs!

- Nathan (9/5): Superb -
- Jennifer (7/5): The property is dated, the sheets had stains on them. Nothing felt dirty just knew it was old. Also no elevator, which w - It wasn’t a “dislike” the property is dated.
- Patricia (8/5): Very good -
- Todd (10/5): Nice location, friendly staff - Breakfast was nice, pool was warm, room was clean, staff were very helpful and super friendly
- Kylee (8/5): Very good - The pool was over chlorinated. But my room was nice and the staff were very friendly.
- Rodefer (7/5): Good - We paid full price but didn't have access to kids water park. Which was the whole reason I chose this hotel. It was nice. Ok breakfast
- Frey (2/5): Very poor - Hot tub was broke down. Huge disappointment.
They were hosting a birthday party that took up the entire pool Saturday afternoon. I had to carry down my dirty towels to be able to receive new ones. Not the cleanest room, and I had a view of the dumpsters.
- Paradise35403780794 (10/5): Let's do it again - Very clean, great reception area. Very Helpful individuals. Very nice pool. Good Continental Breakfast.
Great place to have family get togethers.. Free Internet. Close to everything Eau Claire.........................................................
- 954stacies (10/5): Convenient and Comfortable - This hotel is reasonably priced, it is always clean and the staff are friendly and helpful. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. They have a nice breakfast and they are conveniently located next to the airport shuttle and interstate. I have stayed there a few times now and will go back. (I also love the huge lights for reading.)
- Q9726EPjenniferj (6/5): Perfect for the price! - Nice clean basic room for the price. Great hot tub and glad they had a pool too. Cold air was coming through the window. I would stay there again though. Gal at the front was new, very sweet, but didn’t know pool hours or breakfast hours for sure which is some of the main information you should know. But very nice. Again, a very clean hotel.
- Michelle (9/5): Superb - good breakfast selection nothing
- Jennifer (7/5): Nice, inexpensive stay and was just what we needed, including the pools! - It was clean, pool AND hot tub was what we wanted. Beds were pretty comfy! Some of the furnishings just looked like a mediocre quality. Marks on wall that were repainted but maybe should have had a second coat. Oh, and our picture window, you could hear the wind whistling through and I put my hand near it and the cold air was coming in full force through the edges.
- Jeffrey (10/5): - Staff was super friendly and the room was beautiful! Spacious, and super comfy bed! Even a fireplace in the room! This is my place when I go to Eau Claire!
- Andrew (10/5): - Would stay again no hesitation!
- DONNA (2/5): Nope - Constant dog scratching above my room, kids jumping all over. Told front desk and was not a big deal to them
- Steve (10/5): - Friendly
- rhiannonw277 (10/5): Good for a free night! :) - The room was very cold, even turning up the heat. Beds are nice and comfy along with the pillows. Other than that we showed up around 11pm and there was someone to greet us at the desk. All members encountered seemed very friendly. This is a nice, clean hotel and I look forward to seeing you guys in the future, thanks! -another AmericInn employee
- Erin (10/5): - Foyer was set up like a ski lodge and decorated for the holidays. It was a cool little spot. Everyone was so friendly.
- Ying (10/5): Exceptional -
- Leetraveler (8/5): One night stand - The location The breakfast. Not much to pick from
There is no ketchup
