- tanzeyk (8/5): Two night stay with friends near St Pauls - This is a lovely place to stay and this is our 6th time (at least). The welcome was good at reception. The rooms were clean and perfect for a two night stay with friends in a great location. The temperature in the apartment was very high and the heating impossible to reduce. Paradoxically the shower was too cold (I think the shower head needs descaling). There were a few kitchen items which would have been helpful (scissors, large bowl) I should have told the staff all these points but forgot. Apart from that I recommend this as a place to stay despite the room price having escalated this year.

Loved the two bedroom two bathroom apartment truly appreciated room to spread out at a affordable cost. Front desk was timely when there was an issue with sink drains. Will definitely stay here again next time in London.

For many years when visiting London, we used to stay in the Kensington / Knightsbridge area. About a decade ago we started staying in Mayfair, near the shepherds market area. This year due to a lack of availability we reluctantly had to stay in the City Area at Native kings Wardrobe. No longer reluctant, it is now our first choice. Spacious and comfortable apartments. But more importantly as a tourist; well-located with close access to two tube stations, a couple of small supermarkets and plenty of restaurants. Also, easy walking distance to many tourist attractions.

Andrea, the Operations Manager, and her team make me feel very welcome the moment I arrive. It is very well located with good restaurants in close proximity and getting to and from Kings Wardrobe is easy by tube. Counter Cafe bar and Courtyard, owned by Native Places, attached to Kings Wardrobe is excellent for breakfast, and lunch. And they make great cocktails, too!

- MaeveB_11 (10/5): A warm and personal experience - superb place to stay! - We had a wonderful stay at Native Kings Wardrobe - we were a family group of five adults celebrating my dad’s 80th birthday. Our 3 bed apartment was spacious, warm, well appointed and had a lovely roof top balcony with a view of the London eye. The staff could not be more helpful and responsive to everything we asked and the breakfast was superb. We loved the location near St Paul’s which was safe and quiet at night yet everything we needed was nearby or accessible. We all agreed this hotel stay was superb. For some examples - a taxi called by the hotel for us to get to the west end cancelled last minute and the duty manager walked out to a nearby road to hail one for us himself, a toilet that suddenly started gushing was repaired really quickly with great communication, the unlimited coffee at breakfast was delivered with a smile and our many bags were held without issue. Our comfort and our enjoyment of the stay felt personal to the staff. Along with warm, modern and very well finished surroundings, this is a great choice!
- Excursion652929 (10/5): Highly recommended - We spent 7 nights in Native Kings Wardrobe (4 ordered directly between Nov. 5-9 + 3 ordered through Booking.com between Nov 11-14). The 2 apartments were similar, very spacious and well equipped . All the staff we met was very helpful and nice. 2 recommendations: - Add a microwave - Give the possibility to operate airconditioning independently (it is centrally controlled and was too hot for us). We will definitely recommend you to.our relatives!

- penamco (10/5): Établissement très confortable, bien situé et avec un excellent rapport qualité/prix - We were lucky to be upgraded to a 2 bedroom flat : it was spacious, cosy, nicely decorated and well equipped. The beds are very comfortable. The staff was very helpful. We had no hot water one morning and it was swiftly sorted out. I strongly recommend Native Kings Wardrobe and I will come back . 2 small things however could be improved: The light bulbs were not always appropriate ( too large for the lampshade in the living room ) or too white in one of the bedroom or just the bulb in the bathroom ( missing the lampshade) . The toilets were not not spotlessly clean ( scaled) You can reach directly St Pancras Eurostar in 10 minutes with ThamesLink ( City ThamesLink station is very close ). It is very convenient!

The design and layout are great and match the photos on Booking.com exactly. Love the location, and the team was super friendly and helpful. One small hitch: the windows in the room were stuck and wouldn't open, and for some reason, this wasn't addressed while we were there. Apart from that, we totally recommend staying at NKW :)

All the different amenities in the kitchen worked well and we found practically all the different tools we needed. The neighborhood is quiet and also in the night there was no noise, allowing us to enjoy a good and relaxed sleep. The staff was gentle and always ready to help. Perhaps we didn’t get it right but … the housekeeping process and relative timing wasn’t so clear for us; anyhow we always got what we needed through Whatsapp messaging. In general we loved our stay at Native King Wardrobe and we’ll promote it further within our circle of friends and colleagues.
- P3910AQdirkm (10/5): A Kings weekend in London - Stayed in the Kings Wardrobe for a familiy weekend with our two eldest grandchildren (11 and 12 years old). From the moment we recieved a very friendly welcome in the reception area, walked across the paved courtyard and entered our appartment, we were blown out of our socks. Everybody was very helpfull, the food was great, the rooms more than roomy, we enyoid the two seperate bedrooms and bathrooms (teenagers do want privacy !) as well as the comfort of the very spacious living room with the annexed fully equiped kitchen. Its situation almost next to Saint-Pauls Cathedral in a very quiet side street contributed to very quiet nights and good connexions for the whole of London.

- josephcC3316SD (8/5): Nice place but too loud for me - This apartment hotel was super comfortable with tons of room. We had a 2 bedroom with kitchen and a huge living room. That worked well since we had 3 adults. The beds were great and everything was very clean. Check-in is at the cafe which is a bit unusual but worked fine. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. I requested thinner pillows which they promptly produced. The location is fabulous literally a stone’s throw from St Paul’s. Very close to the tube so easy access to the rest of London. The only real complaint I have was with excessive street noise. I had requested a quiet room but ours faced the street and it was loud. There is a pub just down the street so we heard people talking in the street until at least 1 am. At 3 am I was woken up pretty much every night by an extremely loud street cleaning machine. To give you an idea of the noise level I am a light sleeper and do have earplugs but even with plugs I got woken up anyway. We also heard a bit of noise from the neighbors on the second day. We had a wonderful time visiting London. It’s such a fun city. But Next time I’ll try elsewhere in the hopes of finding a quieter place to stay.
- stephenpW5930YR (8/5): Good location - no elevator - The apartment was nice. We liked the location and the friendliness of some of the staff. Bed was comfortable and it checked off a lot of our boxes. Being placed on the top floor with the elevator in operable with no chance of relocating rooms was very inconvenient. 59 steps with luggage and after shopping, etc., was a bit much. Fortunately, we are both in good shape and was able to make the climb multiple times a day, but I can imagine this would be a huge inconvenience, or even a dealbreaker for some people. Fortunately, the front desk person that checked us in, helped us with our luggage and was also working on the morning that we checked out and was able to help with some of the bags. I don’t think it’s fair for your staff or your guests that they are made to suffer with those stairs and the steep incline. Having paper towels or any kind of paper products would be recommended to have in the apartment, since the only thing available were towels to wipe your hands, etc. No sense in having a kitchen without paper products in it. We would stay again, providing it had a working elevator.

- denise0082019 (10/5): Exceptional Kings Wardrobe Apartment London - We highly recommend Native Kings Wardrobe for a fabulous London stay in an outstanding apartment and fantastic location only a stones throw from the magnificent St Paul’s Cathedral. The staff who look after you are all friendly and welcoming and take care of your every need as a traveller to the London area. The apartment is both beautifully designed and full of every amenity you could need but also it has a quiet aesthetic that allows you to relax amongst the hurry of a large city. The breakfast is great and the morning coffee terrific. We enjoyed having a coffee pod machine available also in the apartment as we love a good coffee whenever we like. The bed is so comfortable with lovely linen and a great bathroom with everything you need and more. Fresh towels were delivered daily which is rare in the post covid days and was welcomed very much. The location could not be better. It’s a safe area with an abundance of transport available so close to the apartment. Eateries and pubs are abundant and of a high standard. We arrived very early in the morning and they were able to store our bags, while we killed time until the apartment was ready. The staff was awesome. Very pleasant and helpful. The room was exactly like the pictures on the website. It was spacious and clean. Beds were very comfortable and the bathrooms were excellent. We ate at breakfast at Counter daily. They offered a nice variety of food and drink which was generous and tasty. I'll definitely be looking to book again with Native on our next trip.
- rbS2429QH (10/5): Native Kings Wardrobe - My husband and I stayed in a 1 bedroom premium apartment in Native Kings Wardrobe on Carter Lane. Wonderful experience,close to the tube, pubs and attractions. Great amenities and very clean. Housekeeping came every day to empty trash, refresh towels and linens if requested. There is a small bistro called the Counter on the main level, ate there a few times-it’s good. Tip: there are general instructions on how to use the appliances, however you may want to read the manuals which I found under the sink. We had a great stay!
- ribby47 (10/5): Fantastic stay at Native Kings Wardrobe with incredible staff! - We had a wonderful stay at Native Kings Wardrobe, starting from the very first moment we got there after a *very* long flight--we weren't expecting our apartment to be ready at 1:30pm, but it was--and we could immediately get in and take a nap! I wish I could remember the name of the staff member who checked us in, but she was enormously kind, took us up to the apartment directly, showed us all the ropes, and made sure we were settled. The apartment was wonderfully spacious, with plenty of room for our clothes and other stuff, and having the 1-bedroom with a living room made a great place to lounge in the evenings. We didn't get a chance to use the kitchen, but it looked great--though we did use the washer/dryer combo, which worked better than any other combination machine I've used--our clothes were actually dry! We ended up leaving our luggage with the desk staff after we checked out, and they were really wonderful and helpful--my husband had to come back and swap out a bag, and there were no issues with that at all! And finally, when we discovered a bag missing, and I went back to see if it had gotten left behind, Native staff went above and beyond for me, letting me check not only the held luggage room but also the lost-and-found in the office for the bag (turns out we'd left it in the cab to the new hotel). I can't praise them enough--the space was comfortable, central, relatively quiet (the pub crowds are noisy, but that's true of everywhere!), and your staff was so friendly and helpful. We had a wonderful time, and would definitely stay with Native Kings Wardrobe again when we're in London!

- lindacI9414NT (10/5): Close to St Paul’s and restaurants, fast food all you need. - This apartment hotel which is so close to Saint Paul’s Cathedral in Saint Paul’s tube station is a fantastic place to stay. It is an old building but the rooms were large light and airy. The staff were friendly helpful and always willing to do whatever they could. There is a lift to the different floors and and the apartments are very quiet. Our apartment had a very large lounge dining area with a good desk and large TV. The bedroom had a large bed and plenty of space. There was a full kitchen with a large fridge and freezer. The bathroom was smallish but well designed. The counter which is a cafe restaurant in the reception area has beautiful breakfasts And lunches.( we didn’t have dinner here so can’t comment on the dinner) we would definitely stay here again.

WE OPENED THE WINDOWS AND AIRED IT A LOT, BUT AFTER ONE NIGHT WE MENTIONED TO THE STAFF. THEY IMMEDIATELY RELOCATED US TO ANOTHER APARTMENT - PERFECT! I WISH THEY HAD CHECKED THE ROOM BEFORE LETTING - AS ITS VERY PRICEY, AND WE DID EXPECT BETTER. ARANZA FROM FRONT OFFICE WAS AMAZING! AND WISH WE HAD HER FROM THE GO. WE WILL BE BACK, BUT WILL ALWAYS REQUEST ANOTHER ROOM THAN WHERE WE WERE. UNFORTUNATELY OUR FIRST NIGHT WAS A WASTE!

- January6Mu (10/5): Such a fabulous find in London! - We stayed here as a family of 5 and it was just about perfect! Clean modern apartment with a beautiful understated luxury style. The location was amazing, steps from St Paul’s and the Millennium Bridge across the Thames to Tate Modern. Every convenience nearby in terms of M&S, cafes, restaurants and tube stations so getting around was really easy. The 2 bed apartment was really large with great views of rooftops of central London. Counter cafe was excellent, and a glass of wine in the shady courtyard was such a nice moment to relax amidst a busy trip! Would absolutely stay here again. Only thing I would suggest is the rainfall shower heads were a bit blocked up so not much water coming out. There’s an alternate hand held shower so wasn’t a problem.
- frosnivaki (8/5): Homey home away from home - Native King's Wardrobe is an ideal place to stay in London if you will be travelling with your family. We had a good experience in our accommodation. When we arrived, we were given a unit where the aircon was not working which, on a sunny day and after a long haul flight did not make our first night comfortable for resting. This was immediately addressed the next day. The place is clean, towels were replaced and trash collected every day. There were bottles of water provided (just first 4 bottles were free) and an unlimited amount of semi skimmed milk given for free. The kitchen had everything basic you need for cooking and there was a washing machine in the unit. All soaps for bathing were provided including shampoo, all soaps for washing the dishes and laundering were also provided. The lady in the front desk was very accommodating and the unit had an ironing board and a blower which were important to us. The place was near St.Pauls' Cathedral and easy to reach by transport using the bus.

You can eat very well in the café downstairs and sit in the very cozy courtyard. Despite the central location, it is relatively quiet. The underground station is just a few minutes away. We strongly recommend that appartment!

The rooms were spacious and the perfect size for a long stay—in my case, 8 nights. The kitchen was also well equipped and had all the necessary items in it. I do, however, feel the cleaning of the toilets requires some additional attention, especially when being prepared for new check-in guests. Other than that, I loved it and will definitely choose NKW again for my next visit to London.

It also had a washer/dryer which was very useful. The breakfast was lovely and with enough variety to have something different each day. The sofa could use a throw or blanket and the teapots at breakfast are tiny, ask for two!

- Christopher (10/5): - What a wonderful suite. We were very impressed by the size and amenities in our Premium 1 BR Apartment. Much larger than we thought it would be. It was lovely to have the oven, hob, fridge and dishwasher to bring home food and such. The bed was very comfortable and we had a closet that fit our clothes with ample hangers!! The only areas of improvement we could suggest would be putting a box of tissues in the room somewhere; including a facecloth to accompany the towels; and putting a small shelf in the shower for washing items, shampoo, etc. Other than those 3 suggestions everything about the room and location was outstanding. There is a lovely cafe/bar downstairs but we did not partake as there were plenty of options in the area but it did offer coffee, pastries and breakfast by the looks of things. King's Wardrobe was right next to St Paul's and it was wonderful to hear the bells in the quarter hour and on Sunday morning at 930am. Two stations within a 5 minute walk made getting around a breeze but the area is very walkable to areas like Shoreditch, Southbank and along the Victoria Embankment. The staff were excellent. We arrived before our room was ready so left our luggage at the hotel while exploring. Upon our return to check in we found our luggage already secure in our room. We definitely look forward to staying here at King's Wardrobe again but are also interested in their other properties around London and the UK.
- Caitlin (10/5): - We had a great time in a huge 1-bedroom perfectly located to get us to both The Globe & the Barbican (& Covent Garden) in about 10-20 minutes walk each way. The staff was great but we did have a few small issues — a fire alarm went off two mornings in a row; we couldn’t turn off the unit’s heat; no one seemed to tidy the room or change the towels even after a full week’s stay. But the people at the front desk were lovely and ultimately I am fairly certain we will be staying here again. Gorgeous place.

- Catherine (10/5): Huge, well-appointed, central aparthotel - We stayed here for a week. It quickly became our home away from home in London. Very spacious one bedroom apartment hotel. Quiet, clean, and with amenities including a kitchen and washer/dryer in the unit. Convenient location between Blackfriars and St Paul’s made it easy to get anywhere. The reception desk is a bit tricky to find, as it’s in the Counter restaurant and we arrived late at night, after the restaurant was closed. But the door was still open and the desk was staffed.

Fantastic location convenient to two different tube stations, and practically next door to St. Paul's. The staff were all super friendly and helpful as well. - SherylFrances (8/5): Awesome location, beautiful aportment - Our party of 3 adults loved the space, we booked the 2 bedroom apartment. The beds and pillows were very comfortable, living space was big enough for us and the bathrooms were very clean. Wifi worked very well except for 1 morning and if the 2 TV sets in the bedroom were working, I would have given them 5 stars. Note that rooms are supposed to be refreshed daily (but they don’t make the beds). Staff missed out on our room for 2 days but promptly acted when we gave feedback. I liked that there was a cafe attached to the property (this is also the same place you check in). They serve good coffee and basic breakfast like eggs, pancakes, porridge etc. Staff were positively hospitable and lovely. Located walking distance to a couple of train stations, this made our commute easy. The apartment is just 2 mins away from St Paul’s, do expect to hear the ringing of bells a few times a day - something my family and I didn’t mind at all. You can walk to the Globe, the Tate Modern and Borough market via the Millenium Bridge. There are pubs, Asian restaurants and a nice Italian place called Terra Rosa - all within a 5 min radius. I even discovered an EXCELLENT coffee spot - Wren Coffee nearby which I highly recommend.

The reception - which is in a cute English cafe/restaurant/bat - was incredibly easy to find and friendly, but you need to go to the restaurant to check in which created some confusion. Only potential issue is the proximity to St Paul’s means you hear the bells clearly. Every time they mark the hour. For some this is a plus for culture. Noise sensitive people will need a room facing away from the cathedral.

The negatives were; it was very loud at night from street noise (people talking), the stairs to get to the room were very narrow which would’ve been difficult with a large or heavy bag, and the shower didn’t drain.

- Linda Sue (10/5): - It was spacious, comfortable, safe and had all the amenities we could have wanted. We enjoyed some of the pubs and local street food as well as the many fine dining options.
- Anna (8/5): - This is our second stay at this property. The apartments are large and offer a true home away from home. We especially love the washer/dryer - allows for us to pack less when we can do laundry! When you step out of the property, you are close to several tube stops and the River Thames - so a great location! We did encounter an issue with the toilet not functioning but the issue was addressed promptly. The one caution for those booking this property is to remember it is by St Paul's Cathedral that does have a bell that tolls on the hour, every hour. With windows closed, it isn't too loud, but if windows are open, the bells can be quite loud at night. This is not enough to detour us from staying as it really is a wonderful property and will for sure stay here again!
- Anne (4/5): - Expedia has been great resource for securing accommodation for many trips we've taken. Unfortunately this experience at Native Kings Wardrobe was extremely disappointing. When planning our trip to London we knew we would require car parking facilities and filtered the accommodation search accordingly. Native Kings Wardrobe came up as an option that supposedly had parking at a reasonable daily rate, so we selected that option. Prior to the visit we tried to call the property regarding the location of the parking but could never get through. We also messaged via the app a couple of times, but never received a response. On arrival at the property neither of the staff on the check-in knew where the parking was located. A staff member in the cafe was called who walked us down the street to the parking location and opened the gates so we could enter to park. There were only a small number of parking spots, but we found a vacant one and we then checked in and paid for our stay up front, the staff being fully aware that we were staying for 2 nights and were parked in the car park for the duration. About 10 days after leaving the property we were issued with a parking fine with the reason cited as "no valid parking session". If you are thinking of staying at this property, please be aware that communication with the property is extremely poor and that the parking situation is nothing short of a scam.
