- Lenajea (10/5): Wonderful experience at a great hotel - This is a wonderful hotel! The room was clean. The shower was one of the best showers in any hotel we have ever stayed at! The bed was comfortable and the room was quiet. We spent time in the outdoor area playing Yahtzee and it was nice to have an outdoor space. The hot tub was perfect temperature and clean. The breakfast was really good and the ladies attending the food were friendly. Someone in our group left their watch in the pool area and it was turned in at the front desk. It is nice to know honest people are still out there. I would definitely stay here if in the area again.

Front desk had a couple employees not too friendly even when I would greet them first sometimes they’d say nothing. A man working it was not friendly at all. Had no privacy sign for door and room was entered without me wanting turndown service. Wasn’t happy just felt imposed on. Pool needs to be checked in every so often people were breaking rules ruining our time in pool

My husband has Celiac Disease (intolerant to gluten) and there were so many options for him. The attendants kept everything stocked and clean. The patio area was very nice, except that the cushions on the furniture were of the lowest quality and there was no padding in them at all when you sat on them.

Upon entry the room smelled very musty and didnt have ventilation. Carpet actually felt damp. I asked if it was cleaned or if a problem had occurred. There wasnt knowledge of according to front desk and since only one night and arriving late we stayed in the room though concerned a bit if flooding or leaking had happened. Front desk made note of the concern. Note: There Was no exhaust fan in bathroom. Kids pulled out the hide a bed and no bedding in the room was present. Front deal provided this upon request after searching a bit and not finding in the room. Wife made jacuzzi bath and was in asking my help with controls after a bit. Front desk confirmed that it was probable that it was broken. It was in fact not working. This would have been nice to know. These, especially the dampness/ mustiness demands a negitive from my wife and I here.

- amom22 (10/5): Amazing staff made an unplanned stay excellent - Due to a catastrophic mechanical failure of our vehicle we found ourselves in an unplanned location without reservations - right before July 4th holiday. Hotel staff went above and beyond to assist us with rooms, suggesting resources, and offering tips on nearby eateries. The desk clerks made an otherwise stressful situation as positive as possible, and were professional while also personable. Rooms themselves were clean and had the usual travel accessories. Be aware this is a pet friendly hotel, and during our stay there were a lot of animals present. While not an issue for us, it might be if you have an aversion to animals. Breakfast was nice, many choices and was kept well stocked/ supplied.
- 342elizaj (10/5): I’d Book Here Again - Expect clean, fresh, and quiet here. The owners insist on it. Having a little in room party? Skip it here. There’s a $250.00 fee and no refund for smokers of any kind and additional $250.00 fee for partiers with no refunds. The public areas are lovely and relaxing—and also under video surveillance. Check out the outdoor patio, the indoor pool and spa and exercise areas. The bed and pillows are comfy. The bath is fine, just what you need. The breakfast room, food and attendant are peachy. There is a good selection of both hot and cold foods. Check out is at 11am, but some may still feel a bit tired. The road in front is a major throughfare making the place both easy to find and noisy outside some nights until late in the evening. Washington is a great weekend spot, charming and proud of its history along the Missouri River. You’ll like it too.
