I would especially like to thank Ying, Delia, Emily, Wilson, and Zika. They were incredibly kind, professional, and always ready to help with a warm smile. Their politeness and genuine hospitality truly made a difference during my stay. The hotel was exceptionally clean, and the housekeeping service was excellent. The location is perfect — very convenient and close to everything. I highly recommend Hotel S Macau and would happily stay here again!

Great customer service like they really went out of their way to assist me from my itinerary to my transportation. Selene, Susie, Fiona, Kay and Vincent we're all awesome. I'd recommend this hotel and will be coming back again.
- Xie2 (8/5): Waiting for check-in - When we arrived there, the room was not ready yet, so we should wait for about 20 minutes and the staffs could not speak English. The bedroom is clean and the location is close to the tourist attractions, just walk about 15 minutes and we could find some restaurants, mini markets and bus stop. Luggage storage is free of charge.

The hotel lobby had a cafe, which made it convenient for us to get coffee in the mornings! the facilities offered were also nice, which included the gym and coffee/tea station. As a girl with frizzy hair, I must say that the hair conditioner provided in the bathroom was superb! It kept my hair smooth and hydrated! I highly recommend staying here as the location was prime and it’s a great price! Special thanks to the manager Kenny for the warm hospitality, as well as Susie and Yoyo for the fantastic service!

- ngf57 (8/5): Fun and trendy hotel - Booked a short stay via Trip and didn't know what to expect...it is a trendy, modern hotel with nice amenities and decor. Walking distance to Ruins of St Paul's and Lisboa. We were given fresh roses after check-in, free drink and snack going up to 15th floor then up to the rooftop to enjoy the sunset. Had a good night's sleep. The room was clean with nice decoration, amenities and toiletries. Made use of the nespresso coffee machine and Dyson hairdryer! This establishment is popular with young people and couples. The cafe Momokawa on the ground floor sells instagrammable coffees and desserts (tasted nice too). If we could improve anything it would be to allow checkout until 12 not 11. Also there is no restaurant or breakfast facility, so you can go to a nearby eatery or order a takeaway in. Great stay overall, can see why they won Popular Hotel of the Year in 2024 and Green Guesthouse award too.

- CzarEmmanuel (6/5): Artistic rooms, good location - I came across this hotel online and I immediately liked the photos of the façade posted by the hotel management and some travelers. However, when we got there, we couldn't see any of it since the building's entire façade is covered due to ongoing renovation. The taxi driver of the cab we took was also not familiar with the hotel's new name. At any rate, the lobby looked clean and nice even if it's quite small. There's a sala and a café on the same floor. We arrived a bit early. They're very strict with the check in time -- hence, they didn't allow us to check in ahead of time. Luckily they allowed us to leave our bags in their luggage room. Mind you that check in time (at 3:00 PM) is quite late compared to other hotels, while check out time (at 11:00 AM) again in earlier compared to other hotels. That's exactly only a 20-hour accommodation! Anyway, the room is not that big, but it's very nicely decorated, very "girlie", I should say. The halls on the upper floors are also nicely adorned with special light effects. Basic toiletries are provided. WIFI signal is good. Minimal facilities. No swimming pool, no restaurant (except for a small café on the ground floor), etc. What's good about this hotel is its location. It's just a few meters away from the Senado Square and other tourist destinations. Bus stops are just around the corner and other eateries as well. So if you're looking for a simple place to stay in, very basic with no frills whatsoever but conveniently located, then this is the right place for you.

The front desk staffers are polite, efficient, and have great communication skill. The small room is clean though it feels so squeezed with the couch. It'd be more spacious and less cluttered without the couch, the cushions, and the many decorative items on the desk.

Left my fitflop worth around 100USD and call back to check is it there after check out.The customer service replied nothing at the room. But I am very sure that the shoes are left at the hotel as I wear it on the first day and only change in the hotel. The hotel is the only stay of my trip. Housekeeping must have not been honest.

- LT_Fine_Diner (8/5): Boutique “Hotel S” for a long business stay - This is the first time I enjoyed a long business trip in Macau. The hotel was chosen by a local partner for many reasons. The Taxi driver taken me to Hotel S mentioned that it was bought by the Ho Family some time ago. Somehow I feel it a very European hotel, small, cozy and just sufficient stuff for what one wants, not too much or too little. What I like about the hotel 1) Boutique style with 15 floors 2) Front desk with all English spoken staff 3) Comfortable lobby with sunny decoration 4) It has a tailored aroma in the lobby matching with its soap in the room What I like about the guest room 1) The hotel gave me a free upgrade 2) The hotel invests in comfortable thick futon-like mattress 3) Guests have four pillow-styles to choose from 4) Open closet without doors giving more space What I like about the room decoration 1) Marilyn Monroe printed painting on the wall 2) Another contemporary printed pairing on feature wall 2) Small cute cubic refrigerator with British flag print 3) Functional working desk 4) Adjustable stand light good for lighting the desk while I work What surprised me 1) When I put up the “clean my room” card on the door handle, the cleaning team responded swiftly and soon someone pressed the door bell 2) The team was all men cleaners, English spoken. They finished the cleaning within 10 or less short minutes but leaving impression that they did clean the room well 3) When I asked for laundry service on the day of arrival, a lady showed up within 5 minutes with a balance and weighed immediately the clothes for cleaning. Happy surprise about this hotel is very pleasant. I checked the room price on internet. It was very reasonably priced in particular during COVID-19! I had bought a bathrobe at MOP300 because that was the only option if I wanted one. Due to my long stay, it is only a few dollars a day, so very good value.
- SebbyHime (10/5): Best Experience Ever! - Since I'm unable to go back to Malaysia during the pandemic, I have been hotel hopping and came across this rare jem of a hotel. I am genuinely surprised at the friendly front desk and services provided by this hotel's staff. The best part of it all is really the extras this hotel provides. I bet you will be surprised like I did, as they had a common room for guests to rest during their stay! My friends and I could enjoy a few rounds of table tennis or pool, or even play PS4! How cool is that? They even provide FREE rental of bicycles, although I didn't get to personally experience this time due to the nasty weather, but I will definitely try the next time I am here! I love riding bicycles and missed doing so since I cannot go home. Definitely will not miss the opportunity when the weather is better! Breakfast is good and you should also try the Portuguese restaurant for dinner, really value for your money!

- BlueMusicHongKong (6/5): Great location but... - Stayed 1 night here, the location is convenient, just walking distance to major spots and many shops and restaurants nearby. Now the hotel renamed as Hotel S, but most of the taxi drivers only know its old name. Most of the staffs are rude and not friendly, and our standard triple room is small. What we booked is a non-smoking room, but when we check-in, the room got a very strong smoking smelt. As its around 19:00 and what we need is a triple room, we didn't bother to change and just turn on the fan of the air-con. But when we called the front desk for three more pillows (only have one for each bed at first), the lady was very rude and denied it at once. I never meet this situation in any other hotels before, and don't know why i need to explain our sleeping habit so as to get the pillows. Finally, she agreed to give us only two ( a good deal?) ........... and it took us about 30 mins to wait to get the pillows so that we can go out to dinner. How ridiculous it is! There is a simple mini-bar and a hanger for clothes, no wardrobe. Kettle is available. Free bottle of water is also provided. The bathroom size is ok. Towels are clean. Hair dryer, shampoo, body wash and basic toiletries are provided. But only fixed shower head is available. For this rate ( around US 200) , i don't think it value for money.

Menu / varieties in food was very limited even fixed breakfast menu. Room was nicely decorated and soothing. Interiors and painting all over the property was too good and attractive.

- BradJill (8/5): Midrange property renamed Hotel S (formerly BW Sun Sun) - Recently spent a weekend at Hotel S (formerly Best Western Sun Sun) on Praca Ponte E Horta in the Macau Peninsula. This has been a good mid-range property with reasonably priced rooms in recent years. We've had a handful of good weekend stays here. With the recent change in ownership and brand name, we noted few if any differences in our stay experience. Reservation was made through booking.com. Email confirmation was received immediately and we were well received upon arrival. There is luggage storage facility available if needed. Front desk can arrange taxis for hotel guests and point out area sightseeing on provided maps. There is a small bar area and a fair sized lobby seating area on the ground floor. On the second floor is the hotel restaurant. There are a few local restaurants around the square in front of the hotel, two supermarkets within a few minutes walk and loads of other options for food and drinks as you go closer to the main sightseeing area in the World Heritage area. During our recent stay, our room was the same as what we had experienced previously at Hotel S. The room included Two single beds, both comfortable. There is a small table, desk & chair, flat screen TV, fridge, kettle and a Nespresso machine (3 capsules) and a safe. There is plenty of space for luggage, fair views of the city if you are on upper level floors. The bathroom is standard size and fine. Note, the internet connection from upper floors was spotty and service slow. We have experienced this problem at the property during previous stays as well. This was the only problem we encountered throughout out stay.
- shushean (8/5): Good location - Good location in Macau, convenient, easy access and walking distance to major spots and eateries. Reasonable price and comfortable environment. Nearby bustop and easy to travel via bus to or from the jetty.

Property is located a bit far from the action. I`ve been many times to Macao and this is the only hotel I stayed that didn`t provide transportation to the ferry terminal, so you have to include the taxi expense when comparing prices for booking.
- John (6/5): Decent room, unhelpful check-in policy - Nice clear room with a great view over the city. My problem with this hotel is ridiculous check in time policy. Don't bother arriving before 3pm because they wont even check to see if the room is ready , they simply quote the check in time to you , even when I asked at 2:20pm! At around 2:50 pm staff begin handing out numbers to guests which indicates the order in which you will be asked to the desk to check in. What a crazy system ! I I counted 30 guests sitting around the lobby waiting for the their rooms. I have never seen this before any where else and don't understand why the hotel has this policy. I will choose somewhere else to stay, next time I am in Macau

- VanLina (8/5): Overall the hotel is good - We have booked a triple room for 1 night, it was given 2 single twin and 1 sofa bed. The sofa bed condition was so bad, the mattress sank down and dirty with bugs, luckily we only stayed for a night. The location is great, walking distance to Senado Square, Ruins of St. Paul’s and shopping mall too.

It was about 30 minutes taxi ride from the ferry terminal. But not much around the area. - zook92 (6/5): Just fine - Stayed 2 nights in Macau and choosed thus hotel as the prices was not too expensive and the hotel was well located. For the location I was not disappointed as the hotel is 5-10 minutes walking distance from the historical center of Macau. Staff was welcoming and accomodating. Nothing outstanding just fine for a 3*. The room in itself was quite small. Looking at the map of the floor seemed like we had the smaller one. Quite disappointing but well I guess it was the room I paid for. Facilities in the room are poor. Yiu have a mini bar filed with only 2 bottle of water. The main issue was the bathroom, toilets with no brush.. Poor housekeeping. Our bed sheets was stained also. Noticed that after our first night. When checking out the lady holding the AVIS stand at the lobby offered me a private car to reach the airport, asked the price first she answered "same as taxi" then when ready to book the car she informed 150 HKD to get the car when the price of a taxi is 89 HKD. Not a huge difference for sure but I did not appreciate the way she tried to sell. Overall just okey, dont know well about Macau. Beside big casino hotel I can not compare this hotel with any other hotels of this class in the city.

- A. (10/5): - Awesome location..walking distance to all the main tourist attractions and a whole bunch of eateries. Absolutely loved the surrounding areas...pure bliss!!!! Two thumbs up for the clean rooms and amazing staff! Only downside was the horrible view from our room, facing sum super old delapidated buildings..had to close curtains all the time:(
- Lee (8/5): - Initially i was disappointed as i thought my room will have a fancy nice colorful fridge, but it turns out to be a normal black fridge, just my own expectation. But then overall it was great to stay, very good location, nice view and clean room.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Hotel was conveniently located within 5mins walk to the bus stops. It would be great if the hotel provided free shuttle to nearby casinos. The direct bus from airport to the hotel goes to the terminal station whereby we need to alight and wait for the next bus, which then brings us back to the airport before heading to the hotel. It would be good if hotel provided instructions on which bus stop to wait at the airport.
- Barbara (10/5): Room With a View - Fantastic hotel in the Old Town! Spectacular view from the 13th floor. Very comfortable bed and pillows. Lots of nice amenities in the room. Friendly and efficient staff. I would definitely stay here again.

No one will ask for a Glass of Water. 4. Food isnt available after 10.30 pm 5. Rooms are Small. 6. We checked into a Triple Room. The Photograph available on the Portal presented 2 King-sized Beds whereas when we checked in, we were shocked to discover that a couch was converted into an Extra Bed. 7. Terrible Experience.

- Verified traveler (6/5): - The hotel is at a location within walking distance to many historical sites. The lobby and the rooms are reasonably kept. One big plus is that the hotel offers a free cell phone for guests to use during their stay in Macau, which was very convenient. What could be better? - the lobby has a strong (almost pungent) smell from the sanitizer used. The room decors are old. The first night we arrived, I thought there were bugs in the room and had to ask the hotel staff to do some room spray so that my skin wouldn't feel that irritated.

- Verified traveler (6/5): Not so convenient - Not convenient for those who can’t walk much. Front desk staff weren’t friendly & latest checkout is 12pm. Bellboy & doorman were nice though. Not much amenities around & need to walk at least 15 mins to the Senado Square & upslope stairs which is not convenient for older people. Will not stay there again.

- SiewFong (10/5): Nice hotel close to bus stops - Hotel location is strategic to me and my friend which took a little walk to senado square. I am happy to get an upgraded room with a Nespresso coffee machine, get to enjoy the beverages in fridge & free call to worldwide. The only downside is I can hear the laughing from the connecting door however the hotel staff quickly sort it out for me. Good job
- Verified traveler (8/5): Great service with good prices - My European friends and I stayed here for a few nights. This is a decent hotel with a great restaurant. The staff members were very attentive and polite. I had a leg injury before i checked in and when i arrived they were all trying their very best to provide all the assistance i needed. It was impressive.

We would like to use the car service to the pier . The promotion offer was $100 but the staff member there told us it was $150. She was not aware of the the promotion price.

- Ira (6/5): - I stayed there only 1 night, and so far it was quite OK. The hotel has provided free heater in the room when the temperature dropped, which was highly appreciated. However, I have sent them a message (thru facebook) asking about my black winter suit which was probably left in the hotel, but no respond yet until today. That was my only disappointment, a hotel is supposed to take good care of their customers, even when they already left.
