- Scott (10/5): Exceptional -
- David (8/5): - This is a great historic home. The owner was very friendly and kind. Only complaints were no tissue in the bathroom, and house was quite cold.
- Marta (10/5): - Olga is a wonderful host and her house is very interesting, lovely decorated, and very comfortable. I will mark this house to share with my friends if they visit Maine. Very enjoyable stay. Thank you Olga

- Hannah (10/5): Eclipse overnights - We stayed at the Munroe Inn for 2 nights to watch the solar eclipse and it was phenomenal. Olga could not have been more helpful or responsive and Inn is so charming, clean, and comfortable. Safety is a concern of ours as well and the Inn is in a residential neighborhood and is well lit for evening arrivals. Highly recommend!
- Grace (2/5): We left literally in 10 min. - Nothing The location was in a decrepit area. The house was run down. Minimum security.
- Ken (8/5): Good -
- Craig (9/5): Superb -
- Annaleena (10/5): Highly recommended - Jos pidät vanhojen talojen tunnelmasta, on Munroe Inn valintasi.
- Sally (8/5): - Great bed and breakfast. Unique and impeccably furnished. In a residential neighborhood. If you are the B and B type, you’ll like it.

- Daniel (10/5): Good bed & bathroom facilities. Great breakfast! - Scenic, restored Victorian home B & B TV problems
- Christina (4/5): - We never encountered anyone. Supposed to be bed and breakfast. There was no one around so not sure how we were supposed to get breakfast. Creepy that the front door was left open for us and I was instructed not to lock it. Sheets stunk bathtub was dirty. Beautiful home but that does not cut it. Would not recommend or ever stay again

- Linda (8/5): Host was wonderful and breakfast was delicious! - Breakfast was delicious and our host was lovely! Not many outlets but I guess that’s typical in an old home.
- Linstrum (3/5): Poor - Unique building. Large bedroom. Booking said breakfast included but it's not. Asked for heat to be turned on but was told it was not available yet. An already used bar of soap was what we had for the shower (or hand soap).

- Nanci (10/5): - We had a lovely stay at The Munroe Inn. We were greeted warmly by our host and she graciously gave us recommendations in town for dinner. It’s a great place to walk to the city and stroll along the river walk. Our bed was so comfy that it was hard to get up in the morning! We opted for the extra charge breakfast and it was great. We’ll be back!
- Kadie (10/5): - This inn was an absolute gem. Olga graciously accommodated our late check in, was kind and friendly, and served an amazing breakfast that was both delicious and inventive. The space itself was filled with art and color, paintings lining the walls, coordinating and complimentary colors and textures filled the space with a unique vibe. I would absolutely recommend staying here, even if you’re just passing through Auburn.
- Jeffrey (10/5): Best ever - Best B and B I have ever stayed in.
- Mary (8/5): - Very Pretty and clean. No elevator.
- rebecca (10/5): Munroe house - The Munroe house was very nice. I didn't realize that breakfast was extra, however there is a grocery store just around the corner.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Beautiful Victorian house. Wonderful host.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Everything is great.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Beautiful stay. Walking distance to several restaurants. Olga was a great host!
- Barbara (10/5): - Easy check in. Charming, comfortable and spotless. Would definitely come back. Highly recommend
- Kathryn (6/5): Average - Usually at a bed and breakfast the " breakfast" is included, but at this establishment there is an additional charge. We appreciated an early check in. No toiletries were provided, soap was left by previous guests.
- Verified traveler (6/5): Booking issues, garage sale decor, dirty carpet - We booked a specific room and confirmed with the host, who assured us she would have us in the room we booked even though we would arrive late. We found someone else's bags in our room; host claimed to be "confused" and put us not in our booked room, not in our 2nd choice, but in a 3rd room she said we'd prefer bc it's "more expensive." We didn't, and it's not worth more.
Claiming not to know who booked which room and using it as an excuse not to honor the booking that was confirmed an hour or two ago is a problem. Only 3 rooms were booked that night, so not credible to say she doesn't know how. It's unprofessional.
House looks cute from the outside, but the decor is random, garage-sale, tacky. Giant rodeo photo. . Kimono. In our room, duplicate 1960s posters. disturbing photo of woman floating in stream. Two women kissing with the kiss scratched out. Garage-sale art. Liquor jar with "Republican" on it. Wallpaper changes mid-wall. Horsehead hooks? TJ Maxx garbage can liner. Carpet dirty/unvacuumed. Carpet folded under bc it doesn't fit. Drapes too long. Tacky pillows. Decent pillows under a table, why? Tilted shelf in the bathroom so your things keep falling. Used bar soap-yuck. Shower curtain can't keep the water in.
Weird wifi issues... the network keeps changing, and doesn't seem random. LOUD train shakes the house about 2am.
Other than the weirdness, the bed was comfy, neighborhood safe/quiet. Overall weird.
- ParfrånSverige (4/5): - Stannade en natt blev väldigt besviken.
Gammalt och slitet. Nästan icke fungerande Wi-fi . Obekväm säng.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Beautifully furnished elegant home. The bed a heavenly comfort. On a quiet side street.
- Shawn (10/5): Munroe Inn - Our stay was fantastic. Thank you Olga, even though we did not meet, we had a great stay.
- Steph (10/5): Stellar B&B - We loved staying here during our brief stop over in Auburn on the way to Portland. Having spent the previous week hiking all over Acadia up north and Grafton Notch to the northwest, we were wiped out and in need of a quiet comfortable space to recharge for the night. The Inn itself is beautifully maintained and lushly decorated throughout with one of the most visually appealing, eclectic and layered art collections I've had the pleasure to take in. The rooms are spotless, beautifully decorated, spacious and include luxurious furnishings and thoughtful amenities. You will enjoy your fill of natural light, stained glass and quiet here. The inn keeper, Olga, was both personable and helpful when making recommendations for local spots of interest, and prepared us one of the best breakfasts I've had the pleasure to eat from locally sourced produce, including fresh porcini she had harvested herself. I only wish we had scheduled more time in Auburn, for I would have happily stayed at the Munroe Inn many more nights. We hope to be back next year.
- Linda (8/5): Munroe Inn - This is a nicely decorated old home. It was clean and generally comfortable. Though it was open, there was no one around to check in and we were startlingly greeted by a larger vociferous dog. (I don't remember reading about a dog on the premises in the info.) It was the first B&B we have EVER stayed at that surcharged breakfast ($25). There was no coffee available in the morning - we had to go out and get some. The nice old bed was comfortable but very squeaky whenever we moved or turned over. The proprietor tried to explain the breakfast surcharge as a discount on the overall cost, however, the cost without breakfast was on the high end (though it IS Maine in the summer).
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Attractive and clean. Missed the warm baked goods and smells of cooking from other B&Bs we've stayed (but may have just been our timing). Good place though as compared to the hotels in the area.
- Jeffrey (10/5): Nice - Nice place. Nice lady. Decent area, brewery with pretty good food walking distance.
- Mary (8/5): Convenient and exceptionally clean hotel - The stay was good, but we never saw another person until breakfast when we met the cook! Unfortunately, the owner was away.
- Verified traveler (10/5): Excellant B&B - Wonderful stay Olga was wonderful I would recommend this to everyone who wants a quiet enjoyable stay. Breakfast was excellent
- Gayle (10/5): Unique B & B, Classy, Eclectic - Checked in after hours, and everything was ready for me. I did not meet the Inn owners or keeper as I also had to leave before 7 am to head to a work location that morning. However, my room was huge. the bed extremely comfortable. Really, really neat, old fashioned bathroom and footed tub/shower. I felt very comfortable in the Inn. Loved all of the art and decor. It was very well done. Unique but classy.
- Verified traveler (6/5): Not what I expected. - I thought it was an Inn but it was a B&B without the breakfast which was an extra $30. I don't eat breakfast so I opted out but never thought There would not be any coffee! They place was absolutely charming with no amenities couldn't even find an extra roll of toilet paper. It was advertised as the last room but we were the only one left but we were the only ones there.
- Timothy (8/5): Convenient and clean B&B - Very nice breakfast
- Verified traveler (10/5): Beautiful, quaint gem - Great experience! Olga was a doll and such a kind hearted, admirable lady who I was privileged to meet.
- Kathy (10/5): Wonderful Bed & Breakfast - We had a wonderful evening and delicious breakfast the next morning. Inn and rooms are beautifully appointed with period antiques. Host/owner of the Munroe is pleasant and makes you feel very comfortable. A great place to stay in Auburn!
- couple (10/5): lovely b and b in victorian house - lovely decor (mixture of tasteful victorian furnishings and objects with contemporary art), with super- comfortable bed. really nice healthy breakfast, very friendly, nice, smart hostess who was also very respectful of guests' space, communicative but not intrusive. all in all, exactly what one wants in a victorian b and b. highly recommended.
- Scott (10/5): Delightful B&B - Amazing restored house; very authentic and well-executed. Olga is a marvelous host, and takes her work very seriously. Rooms very large, and serviceable shower/tub. Excellent breakfast with nearly all items local and fresh.
- Simon (10/5): Magnificient house - Great stay. Good breakfast. Excellent coffee
