Common areas are non AC and extremely hot The hotel faces the riverfront. Although the location is good, it is quite noisy and very bright (billboard in front) Bottled water is not free. The free water is given in thermos but it was not very clean. This being said, there is a free water dispenser in the common area.

Feel safe to walk around even after the sun down. Breakfast was exceptional. If you are a light sleeper like me traffic sound could be a problem. However it didn't bother my wife.

• Charles-Albert (8/5): Une très belle chambre. - La chambre est immense et le luxe, c'est l'espace. Le lit, les parquet, la chambre de bain, la vue...Une vraie et belle chambre. L'emplacement géographique et l'accès au bar du roof top. L'accueil était très sympa contrairement au départ totalement impersonnel. L'ensemble des communs, du hall aux paliers d'étage est quelconque, en décalage avec la chambre. Le petit déjeuner servi avec attention est néanmoins un peu léger. Nous avons du utiliser nos bouchons d'oreilles (l'hôtel en fourni de toute façon). Les tarifs exercés par le bar du roof top.

• Joanne (9/5): Fantastic central location overlooking the river with huge rooms at a great price. - There is so much to like about this place. Its central location is perfect and the room was huge and overlooked the square and the river so we really felt we were at the centre of things. It also made getting around very easy as so many places were walkable. The breakfasts were fantastic, and the rooftop bar is a welcome addition with great views in the evening. All in all, it was a great choice and we would go back. The bed wasn't the most comfortable, but it didn't detract from our stay overall.

Had the panoramic suite which was beautiful... big, well appointed and beautifully decorated. Helpful staff. Lovely balcony. Great air con and fan. Think it was about $70 or $80 a night which is exceptional value for such a nice place. All good.

Loved the rooftop bar too, very convenient. Front desk staff were a little dull, uninterested compared to others we came in contact with.

Freundliches Personal. Sehr guter Roomservice. Zentrale Lage. Es ist leider recht laut von der Straße her. Mit Oropax geht es in der Nacht. Man müsste die Verglasung oder vermutlich die gesamte Balkontür erneuern um eine bessere Schalldämmung zu bekommen. Ein paar Dichtungen könnten auch helfen.

L emplacement est parfait (sur les quais de la rivière, juste à côté du palais royal). Le menu du restaurant rooftop n'est pas très varié. Le rapport qualité prix n'est pas terrible non plus.

• Beth (10/5): 100% recommended - Super spacious rooms, location was perfect, especially being there on Saturday and Sunday nights when the riverfront is closed to traffic and all of Phnom Penh comes out to eat and shop and listen to music and dance! If you can stay in a riverside room it's constant live theatre unfolding before you, a stream of happy humanity. The rooftop bar is excellent, amazing views. Outstanding staff, highly recommended all round.
