• Susan (8/5): Great location - The hotel was clean and the room was spacious but dated. The breakfast consists of muffins and coffee in the lobby with no seating. There are two small tables outside facing the parking lot. No gluten free options so we ate at the little cafe close by. The location was quiet and close to shopping and restaurants. There is a pool, exercise room and outside firepit. Overall, it was very nice.

I love it when they call you by your first name. Coffee, pastries, fruit, and yogurt were delicious in the morning. I would highly recommend Ashbrook suites to all of my friends and family.

• Kevin (10/5): You have to stay here. - We will without a doubt stay at this place again. Welcoming staff, it smelled incredible when we walked into the lobby. Nice, clean, wide, well lit hallways. The room was just about perfect. We gave it a 4 star on comfort because my wife thought I he bed mattress was a little hard. I thought it was fine, but I cannot ignore the wife. We both loved the place otherwise. It’s in a great location, almost in the center of the Door Peninsula main drag. Keep in mind that this an adults only hotel. Not why we picked it, but it was super quiet there. 😀

• Verified traveler (10/5): A lovely, quiet stay at the Ashbrooke - The Ashbrooke was perfect for a quiet place to stay for 2 adults. We didn't spend much time at the hotel, but we found it to be an easy check-in, easy parking, and a clean, good-sized room. The location was good for access to Egg Harbor and a short drive to Fish Creek, as well as many of the wineries. I do wish the town's sidewalk extended to the hotel so you wouldn't have to walk along the side of the road to get to town, although fortunately it was close.

We are on the go most of the day and when we come back to our room, we know we can relax and enjoy it. The pool room with hot tub was excellent. Towels and bathrooms in the room were included. The walk out deck had plenty of seating, as well as a gas fireplace for the evening hours. Quiet. Even right by the road exiting Egg Harbor, it can get busy, but you were not hearing any of that. Within walking distance of just about anything in Egg Harbor! Would stay again!

The pool and hot tub were always empty so that was nice for us to not have to be overrun with kids. Very clean rooms and public areas. Water pressure was excellent. We liked the atmosphere tho it was a little too quiet at times. It would be nice if there was an on site restaurant/bar or at least one nearby to walk to. The continental breakfast was a bit lacking and was kind of a bummer that it didn’t start until 8am. The coffee was excellent though (Door County Coffee Company Innkeepers Blend). No complaints about the property, tho we would probably choose a different place to stay next time we are in Door County just because of the location being a bit far away to walk to much. If you are looking for a very quiet and peaceful adults only hotel, this is an excellent choice.

The patio area was great with the firepit and gravity swing. The room was clean. We wish the shower head was higher, it was low even for my husband who is 6'2", but also almost too low for me at 5'2". We were also surprised that there was no daily service to the room, but assumed it was due to the worker shortages all over the place. Overall, we enjoyed the property and would return again in the future.

The signature room we stayed in had no windows other than the slider to a small patio that looked out onto a lovely asphalt parking lot. The Jacuzzi is small and boasts a "tubeless" system which means it's basically a bathtub-no bubbles. The patio has 2 bright lights that shine directly onto the chairs. The lights NEVER GO OFF!!! When we inquired at the front desk, we were told it was on a timer and may go off around midnight. Didn't happen. I could go on but why? Enough said.

There is something odd about the doors to the rooms. You can hear doors closing almost like a slam. Maybe they need to adjust the hinge or something. Very distracting when trying to relax. The location was good but there are other places directly on the water that I would try next time. Staff wonderful

When walking into the hotel after checking in, we were assaulted with an overpowering smell of some kind of cologne-like air freshener attempting to cover the smell of smoke. We thought it was a non-smoking hotel, but the cigarette smoke could be smelled despite the "freshener" being pumped through the hallways. The odd (and strong) smell of the room was quite possibly worse than that of the hallways. The carpet was disgusting --didn't want to take my shoes off--and the ceiling and walls were yellowed in spots. The bedding was clean and the bathrooms appear to be renovated--new bathtub inserts, clean floors, but...there were ants everywhere! It was an uncomfortable stay, and we do not intend to return.
