The overall ambiance was unpleasant, with laborers staying there and no room service available. To make matters worse, there was an old, dilapidated school bus parked outside, which added to the hotel's unappealing atmosphere. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone."

That there was always a bunch of (men) standing in the lobby watching you come in and out morning, lunch, and evening/night. And they weren’t even checking in just sitting and watching like 6-7 men standing or sitting watch my family and I come and go. It was uncomfortable but other than that it was great and we slept good!!

Construction companies put up their crews at hotel and they drank blasted music right outside our window all night but that isn’t on the hotel itself just a reflection of who is staying there.

Moldy shower, cheap bed, terrible smell coming through the door gap from the 3rd floor hallway (could hardly fall asleep because of the smell). Said door gap was so large I could see the carpet of the hallway from inside my room through the crack of the door and casing. Terrible value, checked out after 1 night, stayed in corpus 15 minutes away for half the the price and a much much nicer and larger room.

Michael (2/5): Smelly - We've used this location several times throughout the years because my wife has family in the area without any issues. This time was different though. Not sure if management has changed but this place is going downhill. We had a room on the second floor and when steppped off the elevator we could smell a strong odor. It smelt of something with strong spices. May have been curry. We sprayed the room and then had to hurry and change to get to a viewing and rosary. Upon our return, the smell hadn't gone away so i approached the front desk and explained the situation and asked for another room. I was told there was none at first but after pleading some Heather at the front desk said she actually did have one left and offered it to me. The a/c wasnt very cold but it didnt smell but i took it. A Cockroach scattered when we entered. Mold and peeling paint on the walls and pipes creeked with the water running. This is definitely the last time i use this location. Only my first bad experience here but it has changed noticeably since the last time here and i wouldnt chance it again. Try something else yall. Plenty of other options in the area. Heather working the desk overnight was the only positive in this story. Currently the link isnt letting me post pictures but i will leave the review on google reviews also with the pictures.
Todd (4/5): Not all cracked up to be - The bed was comfortable Got to room to cook late in the evening around 10pm. I was out on a 12 hour fishing trip. Went to cook and there was absolutely zero of anything in the kitchenette. I called the front desk and was told to make a list of what I needed....WTF!? I paid for a kitchenette so I could go to my room and cook when needed. Not to make a list of what I needed and go pick it up. That is totally asinine! No soap in the kitchen, and no soap or shower gel in the bathroom. I always bring my own shower stuff, but not even to just wash my hands.

Verified traveler (8/5): My honest review of Studio 6… - The staff at this Studio 6 were friendly and accommodating. I booked a queen room, however, when I checked in I realized that the room they assigned me was directly in front of the elevator. I was concerned about hearing the elevator door opening and closing during the night so I immediately asked for another room. They had no queens but they did have a double full bed room. The clerk was not at all bothered by the request and we appreciated her understanding. Despite my husband’s legs hanging over the edge of the bed, we slept well enough. While we were not blown away by the aesthetic of the room it was clean! And I especially liked that the floor was not carpeted. Hotel carpets are absolutely disgusting! The walls at this Studio 6 are extremely thin, you could hear everything going on around you very clearly, and there are no pictures on the walls. They are all bare. No color in the rooms. The last thing I will critique is the room temperature. The thermostat was set at 61 when we arrived and we thought that was cold. We set it to 63 so that it would stop running continuously and it got a little warm in the room. We had to keep it at 61 to keep it comfortable, but this hotel seems to be older despite the seemingly new floors and paint. The AC system needs some attention for sure. If all you care about is hotel cleanliness this hotel is priced very reasonably for the area and you’re going to get friendly service.

Robison (1/5): Disgusting - The staff was the only saving grace about this property. I hope they are paying them well. The hallways smelled like pure funk. Like, the worst most disgusting smell you can imagine. The room was dank, musty and the air smelled of mold. Everything we took inside smelled like musty mold. There was no cookery in the room and you had to ask at the desk for items…. Another victim of Covid policies and someone ‘official’ thought it was a good idea to keep…. First kitchenette we have ever seen that wasn’t stocked for use. We were not able to stay a 2nd night and had to find other arrangements. I don’t understand why it had such high reviews on Booking.com and it was very frustrating to book a room with such high ratings to be in such an awful condition.
