- Michelle (5/5): Please fix the drainage issues. - Minimalist design, pretty quiet, did not hear noise from other rooms. There's an excellent Mexican restaurant right next door. In the first room, the toilet did not flush. We switched to a different room, and in that room, the tub did not drain and my partner had yucky water to his ankles and had to exit the shower. Some surfaces did not look clean.

The room was just perfectly fine - but everything was very comfortable and clean, the bed linens and towels were crisp and fluffy. Communication with the staff about our need for slightly out of the ordinary checking in details was all very clear and easy. All in all this is a place I would easily recommend. The place was more of a motel than an inn. I expected a bit more charm based on the name and the website, but for us this was not at all an issue.

Room was comfortable, we laughed as it’s just what you’d expect of a motel, parking right in front of the door. No actual contact with a human being except via text which was odd but any questions we quickly and courteously answered Price a little high for what it was, across from a strip mall.

- Tim (4/5): Don’t show up after nuisance hours . - Nothing No one to greet/ all on phone/ had no place to wait and on the hottest day/ night of the year I waited and tried everything I was told to do and it didn’t work. Another guest showed up right before midnight and tried calling and texting the number on the building and text/ phone # didn’t work and a different number didn’t work. Hours went by and soon it was the next day with no results or anything but it sure was easy to pay.

We were arriving late and they reassured our room would still be available when we finally arrived after a 10hr trip The people above us both nights were extremely noisy. The 1st morning sounded like they were running around in heels and also what sounded very much like they were using some sort of electric drill. I came home from my wknd exhausted after the long drive and 2 nights of no sleep

Didn’t care for the fact that there is no staff onsite. You have to call or text a “virtual” person to get access or ask any questions. This was NOT explained on their website site or on Booking.com

When the text says “we are always here for you. If you need any assistance call or text” and they most definitely are not there, it’s not good optics. We won’t stay here again.

- Cruizlvr (6/5): A bit overpriced for the quality of this motel. - The main benefit of this motel is that it is in a good location, not too far from Bar Harbor and Acadia National Park. Close to several fast food places also. The room itself was clean, but very dated, and small and the AC unit barely cooled the room. Maid service only changed towels and emptied trash. Did not make the beds or replenish anything. No soaps in the bathroom except shampoo and conditioner.

The bed was not comfortable, it felt way too hard and the pillows were too big, uncomfortable to sleep on. I confused my room number so when I opened it with our code it was someone else's room, I didn't like that the code unlocked a room that wasn't ours, concerned me that someone may have had the code for our room.

Would highly recommend.

- Rainer (8/5): - Atlantic Coast Inn is a motel. It was like Airb&B. There was never anybody in the office. I got a keycode for my room and messages. Clean, spacious, free coke and coffee. Nice bathroom. Noise from street and people in other rooms. Could not get heating to work. Overall a good place to stay for a sort time. 30 min to Bar Harbor

- Philip (10/5): - This property is about a half hour away from a beautiful national park. It’s a part of the local downtown area. There was a fantastic seafood restaurant just three blocks away. One thing I really liked was walking into the room. There was no smell. There was no bad smell, and there was no cleaning smell! The manager was very patient with the questions that I sent her way and the snacks in the room were all things that I really liked. It was like having my mom buy my favorite things because I was coming home to visit. I haven’t slept in the bed yet so I can’t comment on that at this time. But it’s comfortable to sit on. The walls are a good thickness. We can’t hear our neighbors. And the bathroom has had a wonderful makeover and is very clean.

Having coffee in the room, as well as treats, is a very nice touch. They went above and beyond to accommodate us. Would definitely recommend staying here when in Ellsworth. We checked in and out via text. They sent us a code to open our door. The only surprise was when we got back to our room on the second day, the code didn't work. No worries! I texted them, and immediately got a return text with the new code. Very responsive. Great tv and wifi.

- Lisa (4/5): - The check in process should have been made clear. There's no way to contact people who run the motel. Recent work in the bathroom was ill designed and hilarious in some cases. Fan chunked and spit all night. It was relatively cheap and served a purpose.
