• Cortney (9/5): - Great central location walking distance to everything. Parking was easy and right up the street. I can’t speak more highly about the staff. He was so wonderful and the breakfast was wonderful. Would absolutely stay again.
• Sandra (7/5): Très bien situé et excellent petit déjeuner - Très bien situé en plein cœur de la ville, à 2 pas du château. Nous y étions en avril et c’était très calme dans la rue, mais à voir quand il fait plus chaud ! Nous avons été très bien accueillis. Le petit déjeuner est inclus dans le prix et excellent, avec de quoi plaire aux enfants comme aux adultes. Literie un peu vieillotte, la chambre et la salle de bain nécessiteraient un petit rafraîchissement. Pas de rideaux occultants à la fenêtre donc il fait grand jour. Le lit double est très étroit (nous avons résolu le problème en mettant les enfants dans le lit double et nous dans les lits simples)

• Polle Harmen (10/5): Heerlijk overnachten boven de pub - De sfeer en het personeel! Het personeel is erg vriendelijk en behulpzaam! Ook het eten, zowel ontbijt als diner is erg lekker. De kamers zijn misschien wat gedateerd, maar wel schoon en netjes en sfeervol. De faciliteiten zijn goed. Het is cosy. En de locatie is geweldig. Alle bezienswaardigheden zijn binnen 10 minuten lopen (ongeveer). En het is heerlijk en voelt als luxe om vanaf de pub gewoon een trapje omhoog te gaan en in bed te gaan liggen. Niets, het is precies wat de omschrijving zegt.

• Christy (8/5): Overall a good accommodation in Kilkenny. - This was a very convenient location. I didn’t like walking through the bar to get to my room but for the location it was okay.

• Simone (6/5): - The bed was very comfortable, the kind that hugs you after a long day — definitely one of the highlights. The location is excellent, super convenient and close to everything. The breakfast is really good, tasty and well presented. I do think it would be great to add a bit more fruit, some cheese, salami, and different types of yoghurt, especially in the self-service area, that small improvement would make the breakfast even better. The room needs better blackout curtains. The streetlights come directly into the room, which makes it difficult to sleep properly. The hot water didn’t work properly. My shower was only warm, and my friend didn’t have hot water at all during her shower. Noise was an issue, especially in the morning. People were banging on our door, and loud music could be heard. It was unclear whether the noise was coming from the bar or from other guests’ rooms, but it did affect our rest.

• Maria (5/5): Just not worth for the money - Location I paid 230 for one night during low season, which I believe is way too much for a very old room and bathroom. We moved the bed, so my toddler could sleep with me, since the crib mattress was hard and old. The carpet under the bed was really dirty, we even found a sticky candy. It was also very noisy, which I found normal above a pub on a Saturday night, but it’s a watch out if you want a calm night.

• Jane (1/5): Worst hotel I've ever stayed at and I've stayed at a lot! - The staff were lovely and the location is good. Worst hotel I've ever stayed at and I've stayed at a lot! No hot water out the tap, no kettle/tea coffee making facilities. Paper thin curtains and windows considering the amount of noise from the pub below and on the street, you'd expect an effort to somewhat soundproof. Only one socket which was to use for the lamp. Top of the wardrobe about to fall down. Toilet was so close to the wall. There was barely any room. My knees were touching the wall and I'm 5ft 4". If I was taller, I wouldn't have been able to use it. Extremely disappointing stay and unacceptable for 170 a night.

We had to find another place to stay at the last minute. We did not get charged, and that was appreciated.

• Cristina (10/5): - Kilkenny é um lugar para se viver "pelo menos 6 meses"., menos que Isso, te dara pena ao tomar o trem a Dublin. Adoramos o Gastropub , o atendimento e o Café da manha. Voltaremos com certeza. Quando vaiam a castelo, facam um passeio pelo Park, e ao sairem a esquerda esta a parada do trem, voces vao gostar. Foi o passeio mais divertido que fiz em toda Irlanda. O que deixou muito a desejar foi as conexoes Intercity dos trens. Vai lá! Fomos e voltamos, e queremos ir de Novo. Hihihi!! 😂

• Davide (7/5): Buona camera, il resto un po’ meno. - Ottima posizione. Purtroppo per rientrare la sera, quando il pub chiude, bisogna passare da una zona dentro il locale che sembra un deposito mantenuto alla meno peggio. Colazione dolce molto scarsa.

• Renee (1/5): Never stayed as Bo one served us and after traveling all day in a car being wet and jut wanting a room, no one was willi - After trying to find somewhere to park I stood in the pub standing there for 30 minutes Told multiple waiters/waitresses that I was here for my booking! They had no paperwork seems as the room were not ready? The talked in the back room came out and just kept serving beer to people in the pub Another few people walked in to get their booking and were the same I told then I have been standing here for 30 minutes and not one person has helped me or told me what’s going on! I walked out No parking anywhere it was to be paid parking lot far from the hotel

• Martine 13 (8/5): Une belle étatpe à kilkenny - Nous sommes arrivés très tard, et le patron du pub nous attendait ; je l'en remercie encore ; hébergement très bien situé ; notre nuit fut calme (nous étions un lundi) ; chambre spacieuse (2 adultes, 2 enfants) ; petit déjeuner super chambre au-dessus de la terrasse ; nous étions en octobre, ca ne nous a donc pas dérangé du tout ; par contre, à prendre en compte aux beaux jours
• George (10/5): We come to Ireland often and this was a visit as mum is poorly so it was a last minute trip and Wow what an amazing expe - The staff Aby and her brother was so helpful when we arrived and Aby helped us find the correct bus so we could go to visit George mum in hospital. Gerry the landlord was extremely friendly and the chef done great breakfast and we also had an evening meal which was great. We will recommend to others and will definitely be back . Clean confinement and friendly

Réveillés à 7h15 par les agents d'entretien de la voirie avec une pompe de nettoyage littéralementsous la fenêtre. Nous sommes partis tôt du coup... avant 8h30 (heure de démarrage du petit déjeuner)

• michael (10/5): This accommodation is comfortable and very central - Breakfast choice and time it goes on till are excellent. As centrally located as it could be. Easy to enter and exit at any time yet means of entering makes it very safe. The bar is closed Monday and Tuesday
