Guest Reviews
- Annantonia (10/5): Indimenticabile la colazione - Tutto incredibile
- Lily (10/5): Wonderful - Jerry was amazing and such a beautiful property. Really felt like one of a kind stay. Highly recommend.
- Joseph (10/5): - We stayed at K3 a couple of nights on our trip out West. Jerry was an excellent host and the ranch had very unique furnishings. The wildlife we saw on the ranch was a bonus.
- Pastor (9/5): Too short! I will go back... - We love that cabin and all it's pieces of art. The rooms we very comfortable for our large family. They were well decorated with authentic pieces of art. The view was awesome and the owner was so welcoming and fun. The breakfast was delicious and satisfying. Had to leave! I also wished we had private access to the kitchen. I thought we did but when we got there it was well indicated that the kitchen was for the staff.
- Kristi (10/5): Great experience! -
- Davide (10/5): - L’area esterna molto bella con bbq e vista mozzafiato Nulla
- Joe (10/5): -
- Abraham (9/5): -
- Gwen (10/5): Loved it. We were so impressed. We would absolutely go back and I have already recommended it. - The place was so unique, closed to Cody but out of town. Absolutely beautiful. It was comfortable and inviting. The family style breakfast was great. The owner is a great guy. He gave us a tour and it's like a little museum.
- Ione (5/5): Walk on the Wild Side. - The "room" was an old Sheepherders wagon, which was quaint and funky - we like an adventure. Lighting was lacking - could not read our books. We are fine without TV, AC, other amenities, but lighting is important. It was a cozy double bed and the adjacent bathroom had a huge spider and cobwebs that needed to be vacated prior to a shower. Breakfast was promptly at 8:00 AM and generous, albeit a tad salty The "room" was an old Sheepherders wagon, which was quaint and funky. Lighting was lacking - could not read our books. We are fine without TV, AC, other amenities, but lighting is important. It was a cozy double bed and the adjacent bathroom (separate building) had a huge spider and cobwebs that needed to be vacated prior to a shower. Breakfast was promptly at 8:00 AM and generous, albeit a tad salty. I did not like the price - had to navigate a long, gravel road to the "ranch" - check in was a narrow period of 2 hours.
- Samantha (10/5): - The absolute best place we have ever stayed! The staff/owners are amazing, the facilities are perfect!
- Yuyu (10/5): Jerry and staff are just so friendly. - It stays the same since I visited 17 years ago. Nothing
- Tara (10/5): Beautiful! - The atmosphere of the ranch and the staff that care for the ranch was exceptional! We loved the western style breakfast in the morning and the way it brought all the guests together. The animals were a nice bonus! Nothing, everything was great!
- Kelly (10/5): Fabulous place! - Loved everything about it! We slept in a covered wagon, which was so unique and fun! We had a private well equipped bathroom in a separate building feet away. Staff was very welcoming and friendly. There was a main house that we were encouraged to use at our leisure, it had a TV, kitchen area and was beautiful! A very well behaved friendly dog and cats were also on the property. The cowboy breakfast the next morning was delicious! We met the owner, Jerry, and he shared lots of great stories. Would definitely stay here again!
- Amanda (10/5): This family is amazing and fascinating. The land is incredible - Beautiful, homey, and amazing staff
- Karen (6/5): Pleasant - lovely welcome we were not prepared for how small the wagon would be to sleep in, the bathroom was in a building next door which was not ideal during the night, wish we had booked a room instead. although breakfast was included it was very poor so overall not good value for money at all,
- Marti (9/5): Superb -
- Kody (10/5): Exceptional - Great views on the out skirts of town seeing deer and pronghorn in the morning out in the in fields
- Jacqueline (10/5): Exceptional -
- Christine (8/5): Very good -
- Marcel (10/5): Exceptional - Great people ..Jer with his beautiful stories and jokes definitely recommended for young and old😊
- Robert (10/5): A perfect HQ for experiencing Cody, and Yellowstone!! - Outstanding breakfast, cooked over an open fire, and served outdoors in a beautiful setting. Good food….outstanding hospitality! The only thing we didn’t like was having to leave!
- Tina (10/5): Run don’t walk and stay here. - We were simply shocked how beautiful the location is and how comfortable the bunk house was we stayed in. Ed welcomed us , gave us lots of information then made the best breakfast the next day. We also had the pleasure of meeting the owners who were all simply wonderful. I’m sorry I didn’t book it longer . Maybe the drive in for some but we didn’t mind.
- Nicholas (9/5): Unique experience in a beautiful location - The staff was wonderful and attentive. When there was an issue with the ac they remedied the situation quickly. The bed in the sheep wagon was a little hard but it’s very charming and a fun experience. The grounds are beautiful and it’s a truly unique experience Newer sheets and towels would have been nice!
- Claudia (10/5): Unique B&B run by fantastic hosts - a welcoming place for all - K3 Ranch is a very special place - a true gem. Don't expect your usual bed and breakfast as you drive to the ranch on a gravel road. Your hosts Jerry, Ed, and Heather run a unique place with creative rooms that all have their distinct Western flair. From the shared living room you can observe wildlife and enjoy quiet hours away from bustling Cody. A highlight is the breakfast: Ed prepares it outside on the fire and wrangler Jerry entertains his guests with stories from his rich life. Our kids greatly enjoyed playing with the lovely dogs, feeding the goats, and the pony, and simply taking a break from our road trip. Needless to add, they were sad to leave...
We highly recommend K3 Ranch for all types of visitors - families, couples, solo travelers. Nothing - K3 Ranch is a fantastic place!
- Darryl (10/5): - I thought the staff were excellent. I would definitely recommend this property.
- Duane (10/5): A wonderful place to take time to experience and enjoy . - Quiet and relaxing atmosphere. An experience of history, art, Wyoming culture, as well as activities to enjoy. Wonderful breakfast and conversation with staff and owners. Truly an off the beaten path gem to not only stay but to experience.
- Randy (10/5): I would stay there again and hopefully will. - Breakfast was so delicious every day. Ed is an amazing cook. Jerry and Bette were there every morning to greet you for breakfast. They are special people. Bathroom sinks drained really slow. The main room where everyone could meet was very dusty.
- William (10/5): Without question this is where we will stay again on next trip - The owner and staff made us feel like extended family Absolutely nothing negative to say
- James (10/5): We really really were made to feel like welcome guests through the entire stay. - They prepared a wonderful "cowboy breakfast over an open fire outside. The venue overlooked the ranch, surrounding Wyoming countryside and mountains in the distance. Food was excellent. The owner was there sharing ranch stories. Just a special morning and a wonderful Wyoming memory.
- Pam (10/5): Exceptional - We loved staying in the bunk house...beautiful view....quiet...very clean and comfy
- Sarah (9/5): Glad we could enjoy this special place as a family. We loved our little one room cabin, the land and view was spectacula - Unique and lovely place to spend a few days and enjoy Cody and Yellowstone. The kids really enjoyed being outside. Nothing
- Robert (10/5): You wont regret adding K4 Ranch to your itinerary next time you are passing through Cody! - We loved our room which included a hay wagon for our bed! Jerry and his beautiful wife were the perfect host. His daughter cooked a delicious breakfast. Lots of stories shared and the area is just beautiful! Created more cherished memories at K3!! Thanks Jerry! Not a darn thing. It was a perfect addition to our adventure.
- Linda (10/5): Great place - Great place with many nice touches and details in each room
Would highly recommend
- Debra (8/5): Very enjoyable. - Breakfast was excellent, great setting and food prep outside was enjoyable. It was nice to meet the family at breakfast. You get a feel of the old west, as the gathering room contained a lot of western family memorabilia and was very interesting. The setting, while close to Cody, was private with a country setting and had lovely views. Jerry had some great stories about growing up in the west, had a great sense of humor and we felt very welcome. The ranch could use a bit of updating. However, it was comfortable.
- Becky (1/5): Did not stay!! Too scared - Did not anything about this place . We wanted to stay in the covered wagon but was very disappointed when we arrived. Looked like it had just pulled in from the range! Not even big enough for two. The description on the website did not match what we saw. We thought we were in a horror show. Do not book this place!! Everything!!
- Julie (10/5): Fantastic - It was wonderful!!
The setting was gorgeous, company was great.
Delicious breakfast outdoors. Homemade biscuits and honey, eggs, bacon, fresh fruit. Nothing
- Dayna (10/5): Great experience and very relaxing. Loved it. - Very relaxing and very accommodating. Jerry and Betty were wonderful people. There daughter Heather was wonderful as well. The morning breakfast over the campfire was wonderful and we met some very wonderful people around the morning breakfast. Not one thing.
- Erin (10/5): Exceptional -
- Monica (10/5): Peaceful family getaway - Loved this place! A really cozy home feeling. The staff was amazing and the owner had great Dad jokes. We were greeted right away by an amazing gal who had worked at the ranch for 11 seasons. She was so accommodating and immediately asked about allergies for breakfast. (Gluten and dairy here)
The horse and mini mile came right up to us and became our friends. They didn't mind our lab or our three boys. My kiddos loved that the animals were friendly and right there. We played in the field all evening and it was so peaceful to just sit on the front porch while it briefly trained. The house was great. Slept a family of 5 easy :) the boys got to ring the breakfast bell at 8am. This was easily their favorite stay of the trip. No internet service and barely any cell reception added to the stay!
- Fiona (10/5): Fantastic - Fantastic place with great hosts !
Our cabin was perfect and the location is great to get to town.
- Pheng (10/5): Our stay was a relaxing end to our Yellowstone trip before heading home. The kids enjoyed the horse, mule and goats. - The landscape and scenery were beautiful and so peaceful. The room was adorable and clean.
- Sally (10/5): - Great hosts!
- Jennifer (10/5): Exceptional -
- Anonymous (10/5): Exceptional -
- Kory (10/5): would love to return! - beautiful scenery surrounding property. everything was amazing - staff, owners, property, animals :)
- Farrell (10/5): The best day of our 8 day vacation through the national parks. - First off we wish we stayed longer both at the property and Cody. There were so many things to do that we missed out and now want to return to enjoy further. Absolutely nothing. You could not ask for a better property both in company and beauty.
- Donald (10/5): Exceptional -
- Cheryl (10/5): Exceptional - Fantastic!
- Cathleen (10/5): The property is beautiful. We loved their friendly dogs and kind hospitality. - Breakfast was delicious and dining with the owners was special. Very nice people and the guest house was spacious and nicely appointed. There were a lot of dead moths in the bathroom upon our arrival. We would have appreciated Wi-Fi in the guest house - maybe add a booster.
- Simon (9/5): A totally unique place to stay. Great breakfast cooked outdoors, eaten with the owners (Jerry and Bette were great compa - Great breakfast, good company (meeting the owners), totally unique style which we liked n/a
- Danelle (10/5): - K3 Ranch was a wonderful place to stay! It was comfortable and the views were so beautiful! Breakfast outside each morning was wonderful. Highly recommend. A
- Tara (10/5): Was very impressed with the ranch. I love sitting around breakfast and listening to Jerry’s stories! - Breakfast was amazing Nothing!
- Tine (9/5): Big sky, quiet surroundings and lovely hosts and staff. - Beautiful and peaceful location. Kind and welcoming hosts and staff. Good breakfasts served family style. Attentive staff and prompt response to any questions or needs. N/A
- Kenny (10/5): The rooms were great and the whole place was great - the breakfast was great and the company was great The road in could be better
- Dannele (9/5): Beautiful countryside location with whimsical western decor and an amazing home-cooked breakfast! - Beautiful location on the outskirts and rangelands of Cody, WY. Kids loved that our bedroom had an old wagon in it, which they got to sleep in. Amazing view out our window! Breakfast was so delicious, and the owners and staff were so friendly and pleasant. We felt right at home! Our room was quite warm, without an A/C unit. It eventually cooled off after the sun went down and we could open the windows and run the fans.

- Catherine (10/5): Exceptional - Loved the breakfast and the outdoor setting. The music was an extra special touch. Wish we could have stayed more than 1 night.
- Michelle B (10/5): - Amazing stay! Breakfast is outstanding, served daily at 8AM (they ring a bell to summon the guest)! Only downfall was that we were on a motorcycle and to enter the property there is about 1.5 miles of unpaved gravel road!
- Sandra (10/5): - I loved the view. The staff was very friendly. The rooms were great and breakfast was tasty.
- Carole (10/5): - Wonderful western experience-staff made stay extra special!
- Cindy (10/5): - Wonderful stay with amazing host! Beautiful ranch outside of town.
- Katina (10/5): - This ranch is magnificent. It has been so relaxing and enjoyable. The hosts are so friendly and hospitable. Ms. Terri takes care of everything here on the ranch for the guests and we just loved her. We have to leave this morning and really want more time. We will definitely come back here again!
- Randy (10/5): - The room was nicely decorated and clean. We sat in the huge recliners and watched the deer graze just outside our window. If you like peace and quiet and beautiful scenery then this place is for you.
- judith (10/5): Amazing stop - What an amazing place this was. Our hosts, Jerry and Betty were over the top Jerry had lots of stories to tell us. Every room was unique in the decor. The entire inn was a authentic western motif. I will definitely return when in the area. So if you are in the area it’s a must stay.
- Patricia (10/5): - My husband and I loved every minute there. We say there again. The breakfast was outstanding and was great to meet new friends.
Cant say anything bad about the Guest Ranch
- Roger (10/5): - It was amazing. Owners and staff were amazing. Made you feel like you were at home. I highly recommend staying at the ranch. You won’t regret it.
- Mark (10/5): - Very friendly staff. Made us feel like family! Would definitely return again! Home cooked breakfast was great!
- Amanda (10/5): Excellent stay, want to return - We had a great time at the K3. Our family was excited about going to Cody. The people who own and host at this facility are both friendly and helpful. They are very knowledgeable and helpful about where to eat and visit in the area. This is a working ranch, so there was a large hay field by the lodges that was freshly cut and my kids could run wild. We played all around the grounds. My kids swam in the canal and my husband caught fish that were naturally there (from the river being diverted through the local properties). My daughter's favorite part was playing in the water and feeding the horses. We stayed in the sheepherder's wagon and while it's not show on their website there is a fantastic bathroom between it and the other building. We found the facilities to be very clean. The breakfast is cooked outside over a wood fired grill. There was honey from the farm, orange juice, and fresh food every morning. We highly recommend this place and hope to come back.
- James (10/5): - Very good choice, friendly, clean and entertaining! Would revisit in a minute!
- Verified traveler (10/5): - My family loved the breakfast they cook for all guests in the morning. The people there are all so friendly and personable. It’s a cute place and very clean.
- Doug (8/5): Great stay. - Everything was excellent. The only thing that was an issue was the lack of cups in our room for having water to drink. The beds were quite “creaky” & disturbed our sleep throughout the night. Other than that, the stay was excellent & I would highly recommend it.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Beautiful property. Loved the horses and the deer
- Verified traveler (10/5): - The setting was beautiful; just a few minutes to Cody.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - It’s just cool. 10 minutes into town. You are on a secluded ranch. We stayed in the cottage. Plenty of room. For someone from the east coast, this was rather unique
- Verified traveler (10/5): - We stayed in a new wagon on the property. It was really cute settings. The breakfast was also really good!! The staff was also very welcoming and friendly.
- Paul (10/5): Great place - If you want comfort, quality and nice people this is your place. The bunkhouse was great. The kids can roam freely and is encouraged at check in. It is like being at a family’s ranch. Honestly the only down side is no WiFi in our cabin. But that is just fine with me having to put down tech. I only stated so if you need it you know it doesn’t reach the bunkhouse. There’s a common area about 50-75 feet away with WiFi. And if you are here when the Cody rodeo is going on I would suggest it. One of my favorite places ever to stay.
- Bethany (10/5): Great stay - We loved this place. The room was fantastic. The staff was very friendly. We wish we could have stayed longer.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Found all the people associated with the property very friendly and they went out of their way to make us feel comfortable and at home.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Really enjoyed staying off the beaten path. Rooms were uniquely decorated with local items and beauty.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - My husband and I absolutely loved staying here. The owner and his staff did an amazing job at making us feel like we were staying in at own ranch. The other guests were also very friendly and breakfast was delish! Will be making sure to stay here again the next time we come to Wyoming!
- Verified traveler (10/5): - it was quiet outside,no traffic noise. the view was nice. Kids could play outside.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - My husband and I just ended an 11 day trip, driving out West to Jackson, West Yellowstone, Gardiner, and Cody as our main stops, while visiting the Grand Tetons, Yellowstone and more. K3 Guest Ranch was by far our favorite place we stayed. We stayed there in Cody for two nights in The Bunk House. The owners and staff were so very friendly, like family. The ranch was beautiful and the rooms unique. We especially loved our morning breakfasts outside cooked by Heather, chuckwagon style, joined by the owners Jerry and Betty themselves! Jerry’s a hoot! Highly recommend if ever in Cody, WY!!!!
- Michael (10/5): Yee Haw K3 - K3 was a great place to stay. Fun and unique rooms. Staff was great and easy to deal with. Breakfast was very good. Our daughter loved feeding the horses! The owner and staff again were fun and great to deal with! We will be back!
- Anne (10/5): - This is a quaint and beautiful B&B in Cody. Great hand-cooked breakfast outside in an equally wonderful atmosphere!
- Nancy C (10/5): great place - We had a great stay. We stayed in the sheep wagon and it was comfortable. It was very quiet and we had a nice hot breakfast. The hosts made us feel like family.
- Robert (10/5): If you dont stay there you're missing out!!! - Well, I can check sleeping in a Conestoga Wagon off the bucket list. It was nice experiencing the old west with modern amenities. Heather cooked up a tasty breakfast, Jerry was an entertaining host & Terri made sure everything was just right.
If youre ever in or around Cody, WY the K3 Guest Ranch is a place youll want to stay.
- Dale (8/5): - A/c was terrible, sounded like a loud clanging metal hitting each other.
Terry was the host at check in and thru the stay.
Amazing, friendly, sweet and very helpful.
The owner not so much, very rude and insulting at times to not only us but all the guest each morning at breakfast.
The scenery was beautiful, quiet and peaceful.
It’s a lovely place, just a few changes and it would be awesome.😊
- Brent (10/5): - We had a wonderful stay. The horses were very friendly with our young grandchildren. We also enjoyed seeing one of the two owls that live in the barn. Awesome breakfast and hospitality. Lastly, beautiful location.
- Kenneth (10/5): peaceful retreat - Amazing views and hospitality. Would definitely stay again when in the area.
- Leslee (10/5): Our kids loved this. - We spent one day here, out of a weeklong vacation through the area (Yellowstone/Grand Teton, etc.). Our three little ones said this was their favorite part of the trip. They loved the ranch, the horses, the abitlity to roam around freely, the hospitality. We'll be back.
- Sharon (8/5): - Had a two night stay at the K3 Ranch.
We stayed in the little cabin that sleeps 7.
It was very nicely decorated and extremely clean.
Breakfast was awesome considering the setting was outside on the patio with a beautiful view.
Getting to the ranch was a little challenging. You are definitely out of town. Everyone was so nice and friendly. Would definitely recommend this Bed and Breakfast for a truly memorable experience.
- Lyn (10/5): - Unique piece of property, not too far from town. The B&B itself was very unique with lots of art to look at, done by the owner or his adult daughter . We especially enjoyed the outdoor breakfast, cooked over an open fire! Very good!
- PAUL (10/5): A TRUE WESTERN EXPERIENCE - I would recommend K3 guest ranch to any traveler that wants a true western ranch experience! You will love the owner Jerry Kinkade. We had a great time with everyone.
The ranch is only minutes from downtown Cody.
- Gabriel (10/5): Ranch Friendly and WONDERFUL BREAKFAST! - Amazing and cute! Very Relaxing! It's a one of a kind place to stay! So Much to do!
- Billy (8/5): Nice ranch with beautiful scenery! - Loved the K3 Guest Ranch. Nice, off the road, place to relax and enjoy the scenery. Everyone was friendly and welcoming. The girls loved feeding the horses, seeing the owl in the hay shed, and meeting the cat and dogs! They also enjoyed the wagon bed and Jerry’s jokes during breakfast. Nice place to stay in Cody, on our way through Yellowstone and Tetons. P.S.- Just enjoyed some of the delicious honey this morning for breakfast!
- Tu (10/5): - We checked in relatively late, but the owner was very receptive. The room was full of moths not at their fault. But the owner changed our room to full cabin. Breakfast was great. We had a great time.
