• Phil (3/5): Totaly Disappointing. - Convenient location to downtown Gunnison. Close to restaurants, groceries, and stores. Desk clerk was helpful once we made contact. Not at all like pictures on website. Room was decrepit and run down. Internet did not work. Left early to go elsewhere.

• Jason (4/5): Friendly staff. Awful WiFi. - The staff were so accommodating and helpful... when I could find them. The WiFi was, honestly, the worst. It would go in and out constantly. I needed a decent connection for work and it was not possible, so I had to use my phone's hotspot and work outside of the room which was not acceptable. Also, the ice chest is not automatic, so if there was no ice you had to hunt down an employee to get more for you, and sometimes there wouldn't be anyone at the hotel desk.

Great We arrived very late, yet were greeted in person with pleasure. The proprietors even checked to be sure we were comfortable and needed anything. Coffee in room plus continental breakfast in the lobby included. Highly recommend!

From dirty walls and doors to rust on the bathroom fixtures, to tiles falling from the walls, and finally finding food scraps on the floor and in the kitchenette. TV didn’t work and the AC unit was inconsistent at best. Just a tired, old property that needs to be renovated…

The carpet is disgusting old and dirty. Wall lamps didn’t work. Furniture looked like castaway. Nothing matched and falling apart. Really awful decor.

My TV did not work. The nightstand had not been cleaned as there was residue from previous occupants. There was a liquid stain streaming down the wall between the nightstand and the window that the cleaning crew missed … was a little grossed out imagining what it was!

It was also one of the less expensive motels in town. The wi-fi was really slow.. The sheets were rough and it felt like we were sticking to the waterproof.mattress cover.

• Stacey (6/5): Just OK - Could not watch TV if AC was on it kicked off direct TV. We were there 3 nights and two days the room was never cleaned we had to ask for clean towels. No Ice. The breakfast there was a pancake machine we could never get it to work, the cereal was so stale they had no bagels there were hamburger buns I guess to toast some wheat bread and some little honey buns.

Plenty of drinking cups and coffee cups, towels and hangers. Smoke from a nearby wildfire interfered with the hotels satellite service (so no TV and no wifi for the evening), but that was no fault of the management; it was working well the next morning.

The television could not be used while I was there because there were no instructions on the system they have in place. Fairly quiet area and plenty of parking. At check in the room I arranged for had a broken television so I asked for another room but again, the manager on duty had to figure out how to make it work as he was confused also.

• Mike (5/5): Work in progress! - The friendly welcome by the staff. They were keen to please! There is a lot that needs doing to bring the property up to date. There is an air of bygone days, when what is needed is some present day pzass.

• JHoulding (5/5): Not what was advertised. - Turns out, we were the only guests that night. ???!!!! So the owner did not provide breakfast and did not offer any sort of compensation. We arrived around 7:30 p.m. There was no one at the check-in. A man suddenly drove in and helped us. He was super friendly and nice, but the place felt abandoned. He offered us a discount if we paid cash, but when he talked to the owner, they said they couldn't do that because we had booked through a third party (booking.com). The room was rudimentary and although it was a designated non-smoking room, there was a lingering smell of smoke that I couldn't figure out where it came from. The info book didn't explain the wifi, so we called the owner, who picked up the second time I called. There was never anyone in the check-in area, and we were not offered the "free breakfast" the next morning, because we were the ONLY guests there. Weird. I don't know what's the story, but the whole thing was weird and less than "advertised."
• Holguin (1/5): My stay was a big disappointment!!! - Nothing!!! It was a filth The carpet and rooms were a filth. The bathroom was not cleaned and had a bunch of hair on the floor from the previous visitors. The shower curtains have dirty and rust on them. In two of the rooms we rented, the TVs didn’t work, it was so disgustingly filthy!!

I had no choice but to stay there. I didn't reserve early enough to get a room anywhere else. The man working was very nice, courteous and friendly so I didn't bother complaining.
