Connector25659435526 (10/5): A pleasant surprise! - I originally booked a single night here looking for a luxury experience, but after seeing the room and the facilities I went straight back to the lobby and booked a second night It is easily one of the best rooms I’ve ever encountered for what I paid. THe price is exceptionally fair for the quality you receive. The Club Lounge was a highlight. The food and drink selection from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. provided excellent value, but the real standout was the view. Looking across the city to see volcanoes in the background is a rare find. THERE WAS FREE FLOWING BEER, WINE, COCKTAILS AND SPIRITS IN THAT IME TOO! Free snacks and non-alcoholic alcoholic drinks > The service was top-tier across the board. Windy at reception was incredibly helpful during the check-in and re-booking process, making everything seamless. I also want to give special thanks to Theo, Alfa, and Pernama in the lounge for their attentive service. If you’re staying here, the lounge access is a must. melindalorenza (4/5): Bad - I stayed one night at The Trans Luxury Hotel Bandung, expecting a seamless experience befitting its name. The room was indeed lovely elegant, comfortable, and well-appointed. Unfortunately, the service left much to be desired. Upon check-in, I waited in a modest queue acceptable, though standing without seating felt less than luxurious. The real issue began the next morning, when a housekeeper entered my room unannounced, claiming I had checked out. I clarified that I had not. This happened not once, but three times, with the final visit including a suited gentleman who appeared to be a manager. Despite my repeated confirmations, the staff continued to operate under the assumption that I had vanished. Privacy was compromised, and the lack of internal communication was glaring. Breakfast was similarly chaotic, with long waits for seating.
Jurusanto (6/5): Rigid Check-In Policy Ruins First Impressions - Arriving from out of town, I was hoping for an early check-in to rest after a long journey. Unfortunately, The Trans Luxury Hotel Bandung enforces a very rigid check-in policy. Despite arriving well before 3:00 PM, guests are made to wait without any flexibility or effort to accommodate, let alone a warm welcome. There was no initiative to offer even a small gesture of hospitality—no attempt to check room availability or provide alternatives. It felt cold and transactional. This is in stark contrast to my experience at hotels under the Accor brand, like Raffles, where early check-ins are handled with warmth and professionalism. They make you feel welcomed no matter what time you arrive, often doing their best to prepare the room early or offer a lounge, refreshment, or sincere apologies if they can’t. At Trans, the attitude seemed to be: “Check-in is at 3 PM, and that’s that. Whether you’re early or not is your problem.” A disappointing first impression for a hotel that markets itself as luxurious.
Nadia (6/5): - It was a beautiful hotel and we had the most amazing view from the room. I just dislike the wait to check in and there’s only 2 receptionist available but they were helpful and always smiling. I couldn’t remember the name but all of them were friendly. Eventho I’m eligible for express check in and check out i find it quite upset where they didnt show me where to go. The buffet breakfast was good, i get to choose and picked what i want.

Bayulegendariz (6/5): Great Hotel for Families – Just Needs a Bit More Love During Peak Season - Hi there! 👋 I actually stayed at this hotel some time ago and had a lovely experience with my family, so this is kind of an updated review after our recent visit during Eid al-Fitr. Overall, it’s still a great place for a family getaway. The room was cozy, the atmosphere felt warm and relaxing, and the kids absolutely loved the pool area — especially the sand-and-beach-style section that gives off real holiday vibes! The gym’s a bit on the old-school side, but it’s functional, and there’s a sauna and steam room too, which is a nice bonus. If you’re staying for more than one night, I think you’ll enjoy it even more. It has that kind of relaxing, slow-burn charm. Now, the reason for this review: I did feel the hotel was a little under pressure during peak season. Understandably, things can get hectic during the holidays, but I think a 5-star hotel should still aim to maintain its quality — especially when it comes to breakfast. I tried both the 3rd and 18th floor restaurants, but the food options were quite limited, and the taste didn’t quite hit the mark. Many of the dishes ran out and took a while to be refilled. A little more variety and speed would really help elevate the whole experience. So to the chefs — you’ve got this, just kick it up a notch! Another thing: hot water ran out at night, which was a bit of a downer. After coming back from the gym, I was looking forward to a nice hot shower — but nope, nothing but cold water. I called the front desk and was told to wait... then wait again... and eventually gave up after 45 minutes. So yes, even 5-star hotels can have water pump issues — I totally get it — but quicker follow-up and communication would really make a difference, especially late at night. Also, one small suggestion for the pool area in the morning: it gets really crowded, so maybe the hotel could have extra chairs ready for parents. That way, we’re not left standing too long while the kids are busy swimming. All in all, I still recommend the hotel — it has a lot of potential and charm, especially for families. Just a bit more attention to detail during peak periods could take the experience from good to great. Hope this helps future guests!
Compass50465390366 (6/5): Not as luxury as the name! - We stayed here last 2014 and everything was perfect. We came back during Eid Holidays on April 2025 to experience the 5 star service from the hotel but seems the service went down unfortunately! We arrived at around 14.30 to register and paid but we couldn’t check in yet as check in time at 15.00 (while at other hotel check in time at 14.00). We went to the mall (as the hotel attached to the mall which is good) and came back after 15.00. But the room was not ready! We waited for more than 30 minutes. Finally we got the room at 909 if I am not mistaken. When we entered the room, the room was not clean and some damage was there on the floor. To be honest we didn’t like the room. We have stayed in many of 5 star hotel in Indonesia and in different countries, the cleanliness of The Trans Luxury Hotel really need to be improved! I used the toilet at the lobby, OMG, it was filthy! I feel like it’s not at 5 star hotel. The room was given to us was not clean! To make it short, after complained, we got better room on 1424 and I think it was upgraded. The room was more spacious and I appreciate they gave us tent inside the room. My children were very happy! They also gave us complimentary lounge access on 18th floor. We really appreciate on this - thank you! We tried the menu at the lounge : tomyam and fried noodles. Let me tell you something, the tomyam taste was far away from the original taste. It was too sour! No fresh galangal and lemongrass on it! And not to mention the portion was really small. Come on Chef, you need to improve the tomyam taste. If necessary, go to Thailand and try the original tomyam there! And about the fried noodles, it was too dry and not fresh! Feel like fried noodles at street food is much much better. You guys really need to improve your menu at the 18th floor lounge. This one the worse I ever experienced at 5 star hotel lounge! You guys have awesome view of Bandung city at 18th floor but not the food! Lounge access price is too expensive but it’s not worth! There’re many varieties of breakfast menu but the taste were just OK! My children liked the pool, it has sand pool and slider. But it would be better if the water temperature is warm at the main pool. We saw some families feeding their children at swimming pool which is not good at all. No hotel staff care to tell them not to give food while they are swimming. No kids club or kids activities.

AristoDZ (8/5): Trans Luxury Hotel Bandung - Back to November 2023 when I last stayed at this hotel after staying here several times before. including a good 5 star hotel in the city of Bandung. The rooms, although not as clean as when they were first launched, are still maintained and cared for. has a ballroom and rooms suitable for meetings and conferences. my favorite is the view facing the mountains, a fairly large gym, a warm and clean swimming pool, and a delicious breakfast menu.
thomasvietnam136 (2/5): Too noisy! Don’t go there for business stay - Don’t go there for business stay! Rooms are nice but some furnitures are dirty and broken, room need some renovation and serious cleaning. The worst is the noise, I didn’t sleep well there for a 2 nights stay. Rooms are not soundproof, I was on 14th floor and could hear the traffic noise constantly from the street (I was supposed to be on the quiet pool side, it seems it is even worst on the other side where room face the mosque and strong noise). In addition there is frequent noise from kids running and screaming in the corridor even late at night, you can hear everything from the room! This is a family hotel and definitely not a business hotel!

ArniLim (8/5): Trans Hotel in Bandung - Very big hotel in the city area. Very crowded over the weekend. We were assigned in room 1517. High floor and facing to Masjid Agung and roller coaster. Too bad no balcony (coz it is big hotel with high floor rooms). Room is cozy, clean as well. Very cold AC, and wifi is good connection. Pillows are too soft so we had to request additional firm pillows. Bathroom is full of amenities with nice bathtub, bath gel and loofah provided as well. Tons of thick towels are provided. Breakfast is not very enjoyable as it was too crowded during the weekend. Varieties of the food is amazed, with a lot of western food. I prefer something more traditional Indonesian food though. Too bad, the breakfast does not include Jamu (traditional herbal drinks). Pool area is designed for kids. Guess this hotel is more suitable for family with kids. Too bad, i havent had a chance to take a look the sauna and jacuzzi though Staffs are friendly. Parking lots are in the basement area, so no need to worry to be far away from the main building
897firmanm (10/5): Satisfied!!! - The property is so luxurious, clean and modern. The pool was amazing with sand pool. Room nice with some pillow choices, i was also accidentally meet Chef Made, he was incharge in banquet kitchen i think, i saw his picture in their promotiom brochure in the room. He is so friendly and nice person, he was explaining me about the ballroom that they have also had little conversation with him. Superb. Luxury hotel with luxury hospitality.

Very strategic location near the mall and my daughter loves it and we can do parking below. Very high ceiling lobby and the kids room have playstation 5 also the swimming pool nice.
464chandram (8/5): A nice hotel attached to a mall - Not the first time I stayed here but the first time with young kids. Rooms are big and spacious. Internet and air condition works well. The carpets in the room could use a deep cleaning but not too bad overall. Breakfast buffet selection is good. Staff are eager to help. The pool is really nice for young kids. Both the two and four year old really enjoyed the time they spent there. I think you should enforce the guests to not liter and ask them to use the restrooms when cleaning their young children. The sky cleared up a bit one day and we got to see the mountains in the distance. Overall, it’s a great hotel and would recommend.
316lannae (10/5): Stay at Trans Luxury - It had been a long time since my last visit, suprised me by the improvements.. the facilities are now more comprehensive, the room are clean and comfortable, staff are even more welcoming,, also the breakfast & dinner at the club lounge menu was delicious. handytrih (10/5): Best Option for your Holiday or Business trip! - Went here with my fams for 2 nights to enjoy weekend. Room : Spacious, clean, modern with classic style. Complete amenities and they even gave me free ironing for my wife headscarf. Food : The Best! Various options both local and international menu. Tip : You can also go to 18th floor to enjoy your breakfast with city-view (normally, in times it can also be booked for private event) Pool : I would say it is the best in Bandung! With different kind of pools, you can choose between 25m pools for your daily trainning or just enjoy beach-like pools. Note: The water is Warm, so dont worry about Bandung's chill and windy weather. Services : Absolutely amazing. They call you by name everytime you call the operator. Staff full of smiles. These small details are what makes this hotel amazing. Ed (8/5): - Room was quite well appointed. Could have a tour desk though. Breakfast service was quite poor. Food was not of international standard and was served cold to lukewarm. Staff have a habit of clearing your table even when you are not done with your meal. Don’t use the 6 or 12 hr car service. Its supposed to be at your disposal to bring you to all the places but the driver will bring you to some places like a coffee factory that gives him some incentive$. Overall a good hotel being next to Trans Mall and Trans Studio Amusement Park.
Ping (10/5): Truly the most excellent hotel in Bandung! - Truly the best hotel in bandung - not only is it luxurious but the service is consistently excellent For the family, this is great as the mall and theme park are just downstairs. No need to be stuck in traffic - you can just walk around Our room included lounge access which turned out to be a very good idea - the selection is more than canapés. They have hot food, soups, alcoholic drinks. The breakfast includes ala carte orders in addition to the buffet. The manager on duty - Tedy and his staff at the club lounge were always attentive and helpful. The surprise was the cocktails in the lobby lounge! Didn’t discover it until the last day. The lemongrass gin and tonic was freshly made and excellent. We only have compliments for this hotel. Turned out to be the best decision for our family trip.

The panaromic view of the city n d mountains were such a sight to behold. Agatha one of the managers was lovely. She presented my husband with a cake at midnight as requested for his birthday. She also helpd us with the checkout in her most pleasant smile. Thank you Agatha. Samba the bartender at the lounge was another pleasant person we met. Thank you guys for ur warm service!
Hellen (10/5): Amazing Stay in Bandung - Perfect location if you want to play in Trans Studio Bandung, because you can enjoy and play until the park is closed.. They also have mall so you can stroll and have culinary experience.. I think this hotel is perfect for family vacation..

Heinken (10/5): Good pool - We stayed for 2 nights. 1 day we went for Trans studio. kids enjoyed pool a lot. there is sand on a pool where kids can play in sand. other small pool with slide and small dancing fountain. my both kids enjoyed a lot. big pool was nice too. break fast was good. i feel like all type of Indonesian breakfast items were there. international food including pan cake, pastry, pizza, live pasta corner and live egg counter.

A very family-friendly hotel with a good swimming pool with kids' features and a Kids' Club playroom at the 3rd floor. It has a stunning city and mountain views from the 18th floor restaurant. chip tiong (10/5): Luxurious value-for-money hotel - Get ready to experience grandeur the moment you step into the hotel. Marble floor and wall with a huge dragon-based chandelier across the ceiling. Room (premier) is clean, big and luxurious. My room has a big pictorial view of the Trans Studio theme park. The staff were friendly and helpful, nothing short of a 5-star reception. I would like to give special mention to a young lobby staff who had gone beyond our expectations. He took time to explain the places of interest and how we can get there. He was very patient with our questions and helped us with the sealing of luggage boxes before we departed. His name is Yudi.
Karen (10/5): Stay here if you want to feel like a million bucks - The service from the staff at the trans luxury hotel was impeccable. The hotel was also gracious enough to surprise my dad with a cake for his birthday (do make a request in advance for it). Location of the hotel is a wee distance from the airport. Do budget extra 30 minutes for the horrendous traffic to the airport. The hotel provides metered cab calling service and that's pretty handy when you can't speak bahasa indonesia. On the overall, I would say this hotel is worth every penny and the environment is a stark contrast when compared to the other hotels offered in the city.

Adrian (10/5): Elegance and fun way to have holiday in Bandung - This is one of the most luxurious hotel in Bandung. The view from the top (level 18) is breathtaking as you can see most of city landscape. The service in the club lounge is also very pleasant. The staff are nice and informative. The details in the room and surrounding are elegance. The other great things are the sandy pool which is quite unique. The kids club has spacious room and provide a lot kind of video games. So my kids play there and the daddy play xbox with their friends. I would recommend this hotel to anyone that have spare money to try the first class experience in the Trans luxury hotel.
