- Kerrie (2/5): - This was one of the nasty places to stay ! Old moldy food under bed and dirty clothes! Ac/ cover fell off and door handles to bathroom where hanging off the door . And to top off no hot water to shower and when I complained the staff was like ya its cause we are full!!!!!!
- Mohib (4/5): - no healthy optiobs like fruits. apple juice was murky flavorless water. the front desk was nice. one clean person smelled like canibis and and the elevator was uncomfortable to ride in as a result. the other cleaning person has his music playing on loudspeaker in the hallway as he cleaned. the floors were mopped and i almost slipped walking into the elevator since the floor was very wet. no cleaning sevice every day???? stains on the deak and side tables. tv was set to hdmi 2, no tv ersvice???? the window screen has a big tear in it. will never stay in a microtel again .

During these 2 months, housekeeping came trying to open my door before 11 am on check-out days. I complained multiple times to the front desk manager, but nothing has been done. If you care for your privacy take your money elsewhere.

Most of the lights on the unit didn’t work so couldn’t tell if it was set correctly. No hooks at all in the bathroom and no toilet paper holder. Like no one cares about the place. That’s fine if you’re paying $95 a night but not for $235 a night. Never staying here again and do not recommend.
- Rachel (10/5): - We stayed here for a few days and it was a great experience. The property was well kept inside and out. Our room was clean and stocked with the basics. The staff was always friendly. Breakfast was simple but perfect for an early morning. The waffle maker is awesome. We had the pool to ourselves and it backs onto beautiful tall trees that started to turn fall colours. The location is right next to the main road an a gas station for quick drinks and snacks if needed.

Asked the desk for pillows and they said there weren't any because the hotel was fully sold out. Had to use a rolled up blanket as a pillow. No body wash in shower dispenser. Overall, super disappointing stay.

Breakfast was included and basic but decent variety. The bed was very comfortable and the bathroom was clean. So good value for the cost, discount was given for the awful smoke smell and staff was very polite.

- Kathy (4/5): - We ended up at Holiday Inn Express. I am extremely allergic to strong odors which was in every room they took me to. Also one room had smoking odors as well. Staff were very understanding and said they would call Holiday Inn which was across the street and get a price match on the amount we were due to pay. One we got there we were charged around 300.00 more for a 3 night stay. Very disappointed with having to pay more when we were told same man owned 4 local hotels and these two were 2 of them. We should not have had to pay that difference for a clean odor free stay.

- Arun (2/5): Disappointed by Room Design and Maintenance Issues - My stay was uncomfortable due to a large mirror placed behind the bed, which felt unsettling, and several unresolved maintenance issues—including a non-functional bathroom vent, slippery tub, slow-draining water, a faulty toilet flush, and an unusually low sink counter. Note: my other friends room toilet were ok.

Our room was very clean, beds very comfortable and great air conditioning. Plenty of towels and very clean bathroom. Iron and ironing board in the room came in handy! Breakfast consisted of oatmeal or cereal, microwavable Jimmy Dean sausage biscuits, waffle makers, variety of bagels, hot chocolate, coffee, and variety of juices. Ice machine close by and vending machines.I will definitely choose this Hotel when i am in the area again.

Room edge guides between bathroom and bedding area were loose and coming off the walls. Floor creaked and had to make the people on the floor below us uncomfortable. Pool had no lounge chairs and no one cleaned it so I cleaned it both days that we used the pool. Just gave an overall appearance of struggling!!!

- Brittany (6/5): - The check in process was quick. The staff members have been nice. I stayed for 4 nights total. My room was on the first floor, behind the check in desk in the handicap room so no counter space. It also smelled like feet that couldn't be covered by multiple air fresheners. The shower didn't drain and the TV didn't work. I didn't bring this to the staff attention so they weren't able to correct it. However, I did have a rough night the last night that I stayed. They checked someone in later and they happened to be across the hall from me. After 30+ minutes of slamming doors, screaming at one another, and obnoxious behavior with total disregard to others, I asked the front desk to address this. The younger girl was nice, but requested I give them more time to settle in. It was 15 minutes to midnight. If you have people checking in that late, it should go without saying to ask them to be respectful and try to put them away from where others are staying. The hotel never had more than 5 cars in the parking lot so it was feasible to spread us all out. The breakfast bar didn't offer any low-carb options so I ended up purchasing something else every morning. Not a deal breaker, but silly to have to spend more money when breakfast was included. There was a pool, however, my itinerary didn't allow for much free time to check it out. Overall, the hotel was a place to bathe and sleep. It wasn't the nicest place I've been, but it did the trick. Other than the smell, it felt comfy enough.

When we booked this hotel we were unaware that they do not offer room service to people whom stay for longer periods. We had to go to front desk for towels and toilet paper. Other guest also were having issues as they had to place trash in the hallways for it to be picked up. Since the price was compatible with other hotels in the area i will be trying other hotels in our future.

- Karen (4/5): - Staff that was there helped as much as they possibly could however I paid for a room that I couldn’t even manage to go to sleep in until 2 AM because I had to change rooms four times due to either air conditioning and heating not working in two of the room rooms and the other one was dirty finally, the fourth one after moving four times was OK, but definitely not as clean as it needed to be. I feel like I paid over $100 for a room that was probably worth 65 at the very most. I was told that if I wanted to come back, they would give me the room for $50 plus tax. I did not want to come back and I didn’t. I felt like after all of the chaos my room should have been comped altogether.
- Kelly (6/5): Some good some bad - Online check in was very easy and definitely worth doing. All I had to do was give my name at the desk and everything was all set. The first room we were given had not been cleaned. There was trash on the floor and on the desk, trash still in the trash bags, and hair in the bathtub. It also smelled awful, like someone had smoked in it. I went downstairs and asked to be moved. The front desk clerk was very apologetic and quickly found us another room. It was clean and didn't smell too much. I had read in Google reviews about the smell in some rooms and brought those little air freshener trees you put in cars. Those helped a lot. Heat in the room worked great. Heat in the shower, not so much. I had about 30 seconds of warm water then freezing cold. I mentioned this at the front desk upon checkout and it seemed like they had heard this complaint before. I never could get the TV to work but I brought my fire stick so it wasn't a big deal. Bed was comfortable. Hotel was quiet at night. I was pleasantly surprised by the continental breakfast as there were Belgium waffle machines and sausage biscuits you could microwave. I was expecting muffins and bagels. All in all, not an amazing experience but not a bad one. The staff here is very nice and although that makes up for some of the shortcomings, I would not have stayed another night without hot water. My daughter didn't even get to take a shower.

We were there for 2 days and location wise it was perfect for all the visiting we were doing. The breakfast is very simply, they have a waffle machine, basic fruits, cereal, and a coffee machine. The only complaint I have is the lights in the room. That ugly florescent lighting was HORRIBLE! It felt like being in a hospital room. I recommend they have a lamp so the room isnt in bright white. Especially when you are trying to wind down for the night. If they do that change, that would be it perfect!
