• Sheila (10/5): - We arrived early in a snow squal, the staff, were so accomodating. We were offered to wait in the lobby or the breakfast room while a new TV was being installed in the room. (They were in the process of putting new tvs in all rooms and had just started on ground floor, which we had reqyested for easy access to take our dog outside.) All of the staff we encountered were very pleasant.The room was beautiful, nicely decorated. Once settled, we installed our firestick in the new TV, it connected immediatly. We were able to watch the game! Breakfast area was clean and delicious. Again staff was attentive and polite. Dog policy states, no animals be left alone in room. Its sad that rules are made from bad owners. Anyway we ordered our supper delivered, which recommendation from front desk was right on.
• HollyA133 (10/5): Best place to stay for trips to north central Montana. - I stay here frequently for work in the area. It is very comfortable and quiet. The staff is friendly and accommodating. The room is always clean. The fitness room was recently updated with new treadmills and free weights.

They are enthusiastic about thier work and seem to really care about the property. Staff bakes cookies for guests, room is clean and comfortable. Breakfast on 10/11 was really great and staff assigned really cared.

Staff was very pleasant and helpful with local dining options. It was quiet and I felt safe walking dog after dark. I would stay there again and I recommend to others.

We were very disappointed that the pool and hot tub would both be unavailable during our stay. We were on a road trip, so it would have been nice to relax. It would have be welcomed to have an adjustment on the cost of the room for this unavailability.

• jamie (2/5): Senior Citizen Robbery - My wife and I are in our 70's. We love Glacier Park. So I booked a trip. We live in Calera, Ok. So the trip was to fly to Bozeman rent a car and spend nights in Helena, Shelby, Kalispel, and last 3 nights in Bozeman and fly home. We had a medical emergency come up about a week before the trip. So I cancelled parking at the airport, and the flight on southwest airline and Helena motel and Kalispel hotel and Bozeman Hotel and the rental car. All reservations were refunded ok except Shelby Best Western; they refused to refund. So I feel like they stole our money like common theives! Here we are elderly and on fixed income to boot. Therefore I will no longer use Hotels.com for anything!
• maryrose1122 (10/5): Highly recommend this place!! - Driving from Wisconsin to Montana.....I stayed here because of the time it took to drive from Medora, ND....and Shelby is near the Glacier Nat'l Park where I was headed. SO glad I was able to rest here. The place is well-maintained! My ground floor room (as requested) was CLEAN and bed was comfy. Also included refrigerator, coffee maker, and tv (typical.) Also very reasonably priced! Stayed one night, enjoyed their breakfast buffet, and traveled on. I would highly recommend staying here!

Also, my room was connected to the utility room for the powered front door. I could hear a loud rumble every time it opened and closed. I asked for a different room, but they were fully booked.

• Joseph (10/5): Great stay in Shelby - Newer hotel, very clean and well designed. Breakfast was very good, staff was excellent, manager even provided home made cookies for guests. A little pricey but was only really nice option in tow.

Beds were comfortable and clean and the location was convenient right off freeway and the noise was not bad at all. The breakfast was typical hotel breakfast but adequate to get the morning started.

• Karla (8/5): Nice location, friendly staff - Breakfast was good. Staff very friendly. Dog friendlier.. you have a big patch of grass out front BUT have a pets not allowed sign. After traveling 8 hours in a car, have a nice patch for the dogs, not just the gravel and weeds where those can be dangerous for dogs if they get caught in them, travel up their fur, etc.

• Ardith (4/5): - I am an 83 year old I live in Canada. I drove to Shelby Montana on Aug 1st and commuted to my destination by Amtrack that morning. There was @ one and a half arrival time at my destination. In the possibility of another delay on my return to Shelby Aug 4 and in view of anticipating my 4 hour drive by myself back to my home in Canada my family felt it prudent to book a room for the night so I could avoid driving after sun down in the event there were arrival delays on Amtrack. I spoke to 2 lovely attendants at the desk at your hotel. They reminded me of your 24 hour cancellation policy and were unwilling to rescind this for me. I see the charges for the night have been paid. Would you consider refunding me in view of my delemna as I have presented. Thank you for your consideration. Will await your response. Ardith Berge
• Verified traveler (6/5): Nice hotel, watch the room over the doors - We got the suite for 6 people, the room was nice and clean. The hotel was great, but our room was over the opening and closing of the hotel lobby doors which we heard all night and it vibrated our room as well. Did not sleep well. Reported to the front desk and she said there's not a whole lot she can do to help me. Just a heads up on that.
• Shawn (10/5): 2025 Summer Vacation - The staff there was awesome. Great breakfast with a wide variety of choices. Pool/hot tub area was perfect, very clean, plenty of towels. My wife and I would have to lie to say we found anything wrong with this property.
• Scott (8/5): Good stop on Northern Montana Route - A good location and also good breakfast. Service was good and front desk quick and friendly! Room was large and clean, comfortable with a good shower. Pillows. They were a little small.
