• Eric (7/5): Mooie locatie, wel ff klimmen - Het mooie uitzicht. Dat de zee 'beneden' was. Naar beneden gaan ging prima naar boven komen was een enorme klim. We hebben een taxi voor euro 4 genomen. Op de laatste dag klopt de huishoudster om 9 uur op de deur met de vraag hoe laat wij weg zouden gaan. Uitchecktijd was 12 uur. We sliepen nog. That the sea was “down below.” Going down was fine, but coming back up was a huge climb. We took a taxi for 4 euros. On the last day, the housekeeper knocked on the door at 9 a.m., asking what time we would be leaving. Checkout time was at 12 o’clock. We were still asleep.

Het appartement was ruim en heel schoon en zo fijn dat t vaak werd schoongemaakt. Het zwembad was heerlijk, mijn dochter heeft er zo van genoten en wij natuurlijk ook 🤗 Kortom een echte aanrader! • Mohamed (2/5): It was a terrible stay unfortunately . - Rien We stayed here for 11 days, and sadly they were the worst days of our holiday. No air conditioning – the heat was unbearable. Terrible beds – uncomfortable and impossible to sleep on. Internet outage – no connection for 2 days. Housekeeping was unhygienic – mattress and covers were never changed, towels not replaced regularly, and the toilet was in a catastrophic state, leaking and unclean. Customer service was awful – staff were unfriendly, unhelpful, and showed no care for guests. Noise and safety issues – teenagers drinking and swimming in the pool at 2 AM every night, making it impossible to rest. No parking – we had to park 1 km away and walk to the hotel. This place completely ruined our holiday. I strongly advise anyone considering it to look elsewhere

Gema & Luis are wonderful hosts & make you feel very welcome, it's like home from home! The apartment was cleaned daily & pool is very well kept. There is a good supermarket very close by. The beach & Restaurants are a short walk away, there is a bit of an incline on the way back. I would highly recommend the property. I can't say there was anything we could fault with our stay. Possibly a small bin outside the apartment complex for Smokers & maybe larger mugs in the apartment.

• David (10/5): Exceptional - A real gem of a 2 bed apartment. Luis & Gema are fantastic hosts & advised on areas of interest in Puerto Rico to visit, along with good places to eat. They organised transport to/from the airport for us also. The apartment was cleaned daily, with a lovely well kept pool on site. Beach is a short walk, with the town centre is a 10 minute walk, bit of incline on way back to apartment!! Couldn’t fault any aspect of our stay & would highly recommend the property to guests coming to Puerto Rico.

They even offerd to bring us to a doctor with their car (our daughter got sick). The appartment is very clean and nice. walking distance to the beach is 10 to 15 minutes and easily capeable also for kids.
• John (9/5): Superb - We stayed for two weeks (Feb/Mar 2024) at the GELIMAR apartments. Gema, Luis, and their team are warm and welcoming. They did everything possible to make our stay enjoyable, promptly responding to requests. The apartment was ultra clean, thanks to Carmen's daily efforts. The pool was also immaculate, thanks to Vincente. I swam every day without goggles and got no red eye. The location is a perfect base for exploring what the resort offers. The view from our apartment was glorious - overlooking the Puerto Rico bay. The pool and sunbathing areas are excellent alternatives for those not wishing to go to the beach, which gets busy. An excellent local supermarket 200 meters down the road provides for everyday holiday requirements. Street parking, but had no problems in peak season. I don't want to write negative stuff because we had a great time. This would affect any property in the area, but the bins are collected between 3.10 and 3.30 in the morning most days, not weekends or holidays. We know the time because we checked every time they woke us! The crews seem to delight in making noise. Someone should ask the council to quieten it or pick up at reasonable times. Luckily we could sleep late on holiday! I found the bed comfortable enough, my wife didn't. The cutlery could be upgraded - the knives are flimsy. And some larger mugs would be great! - But that's being picky.

A washing machine is available in the common area. A cot was available for our baby. The view from the apartment is truly exceptional and the location is calm and perfect for relaxing! Above all, the hosts are simply amazing. They are very friendly people with warm hearts. When we had a little emergency, they immediately helped us as if we were family members. We are very thankful about that and appreciate it a lot. I can't find anything negative about our stay. I would highly recommend Apartamentos Gelimar.

A very well equipped apartment with amazing views over Puerto Rico. Highly recommended. We stayed in no5 on the top floor. Occasionally there were unpleasant smells from bins or similar and the problem with the ants were annoying.

• Kinga (10/5): Amazing! - The apartment was amazing and the view from the terrace spectacular. All the guests have access to a wonderful swimming pool and all the related facilities such as showers and sunbeds. Kitchen is really fully equipped and the price includes everyday cleaning. There was a bottle of wine waiting for us on arrival. The hosts - who are most helpful and friendly - also help with enlisting to various trips and cruises at a price lower than that offered at the beach.
