- Adrigph (1/5): Intentional rip-off - Nothing. This motel doesn't provide a clear policy reg damage deposit. I paid for the last available room, as per info when I spoke to her on the phone (non refundable) for a friend. I spoke 2x on the phone with the manager, she was aware I would pay. I chose the option that I was making the payment to someone else. Below the only info was "security deposit of $100 to be paid at property" (not exactly these words but the same meaning). She denied entry to my friend because my friend has no credit card to pay for the deposit. If he had a credit card he wouldn't need my help. The moment I got there she was finalizing renting the last available room, the room I paid for and refused to provide the service. She only provided details about the deposit policy when my friend and I arrived at the motel. She also didn't accept to change the main guest to my name. Imo it was intentional to double dip by denying service but got paid for and renting room to someone else. The motel doesn't authorize reversing charges and Booking.com fully supports the motel refusal. Lack of info regarding deposit policy. The manager was aware that the room payment was done from the 3rd party but refused entry because the main guest didn't have a credit card. The manager rented out the last room that I paid for and refused reverse charges

I left their names twice with front desk (once at booking & the day before on the 22nd) and there were issues with them being able to check into their rooms and it created major problems as I was away in New York. I will be calling the hotel manager directly.

The room condition was great When I opened the door to the room it was an oven. someone had left the heat on way to high. It took a while to find the thermostat and where the heat was coming from.

There wasn't very much to like when you consider the price I paid for the hotel. I would say the hotel catered to very low income guests , there seemed to be some homeless guest that stay there. The Hotel was under construction while staying open. There was no mention of that. Cost for value was crazy $230.00 per night. There was no extra blanket for worth, no face cloths no toilet paper holder. I was told it was a upgraded room the only difference was it has a King sized bed. I felt I got misled by the pictures and the price

- Tom (3/5): - Staff generally polite. Recently stayed at this motel during its renovation, and my experiences were mixed. On my first visit, we were assigned a room with a bathroom that lacked a window or fan. While this wasn’t ideal, we appreciated that the staff was accommodating when we requested a room change, moving us to one with a bathroom window. However, our second stay took a disappointing turn. A few hours in, family noticed a mouse in the room. When I reached out to the staff for assistance, they were initially reluctant to resolve the issue and were resistant to providing a refund or moving us to another room. After some back-and-forth discussions, they eventually relocated us, which I appreciated, but the delay in addressing the problem was frustrating. Overall, while the second room was fine, the mouse incident and the staff's initial response have led me to decide against staying here again in the future.

- Jennifer (1/5): - The room was gross the window I the bathroom was falling out of the tracks. The heat was turned on to 30 degrees actually! When I got there and the TV eas on loud! The bed sheets didn't smell fresh there was only sheets on the bed no blankets and no extra blankets comforters or pillows. When complained at checkout the guy just guilty and shy looked down and didn't say anything. The pictures on booking.com looked like new renewed etc. Totally not the case it was old and grungy and the floors where coming apart holes in rhe dry wall etc. Booking.com needs to deal with it as Google reviews also have rhe same complaints. When asking at check in as i had seen the reviews i was assured it was all new beds furniture etc. There wasn't even facecloths in rhe room and hair between the sheets. Gross! It would be appreciated if booking.com handled this situation professionally and contacted the customer and removed the rooms from alpine in from their booking site! Everything as listed above

- Tumica (1/5): It was a bad experience - I hated it they charged me to much I booked ahead of time and they didn’t put me into the system like they said they did and then had to pay double for the next night and extra for a bed in the room the next day and the coffee maker didn’t work also so the water stinkiest like eggs and there’s no one phone to complain if the next room was playing loud music or blasting firecrackers at midnight. - Evan (3/5): I checked out right away and didnt stay this place is Gross! - Nothing Mostly everything. The pictures on the internet are not the rooms offered by this hotel/motel. Nothing is the same. Half the place has had a bad fire 2 years ago and nothing is fixed. The rest has really bad water damage and has bad mold issues. A non smoking room smells like it was smoked in for decades and then switched over yesterday.

And staff walked into my room at midnight completely unannounced ! Claim "room checks to rent rooms for the next day" he lied! The staff in the morning told me he was checking after complaints of smoke smell in rooms from another guest. But at midnight? Ya right. There was also no management on site only one staff person at a time. Absolutely everything could have been better. Awful experience. Lots of junkies hanging around the parking lot, people smoking directly outside of their doors. Bugs in room. Windows don't lock. And staff who bust into your room in the middle of the night

Next to a liquor store. My Mom and I were traveling by ourselves. Did not feel safe with homeless across the street. We took the hit to the wallet and went somewhere else.

- Deb (1/5): Overpriced & Not Clean - I had to book at the last minute and it was way way way overpriced at $377. The rating shows 3 stars but this is a run down motel that is half under construction. It does not look like the photos at all. It was VERY unclean. Cobwebs on the ceiling, hair on the floor. The grounds around were rundown as well.

- Angel Anne (1/5): Lost $100+ at midnight, no flexibility, and the whole place feels creepy anyway - It’s a creepy place to stay and they’re not considerate to customers the whole place honestly feels creepy — dim lighting, outdated everything, and an overall uneasy atmosphere. If you’re looking to save money and actually feel safe and treated like a human being, just book an Airbnb instead. Way cheaper, cleaner, and nobody will kick you out at midnight over a hidden deposit rule.

- David (1/5): Not worth the stay, go somewhere else. - Easy to access It was dirty, hair found on bed sheets, room smelt musty and old cigarette smoke, bath tub didn’t drain, dry wall patched in bathroom but not sanded or painted.

- Barbara (3/5): - It was close to few good restaurants & easy access to main roads. The staff was pleasant enough, gave us extra coffee when asked. Left us alone when asked as well The air conditioning was on when we got in ,the cord had been taped with black tape in 1 area & was hot! Plus, the fins were dirty. The bathroom window was boarded up, with only a bit of fresh air coming in. There was a minimal blanket on the bed, but we were fairly warm using both living & bathroom heaters. The burned wing of the motel was eyesore.
