They said booking didn't pay them and made me pay again. I need my refund from booking. I was not allowed to stay there, and they said locals aren't allowed there. They refused to let me stay. Were rude to me when I asked why I was being charged twice charged twice. Threw me out and said get out when I asked who the owner of the hotel is? I alerted my bank, but have not received my refund

We were only passing through Alamosa on our way to the Great Sand Dunes but I would have enjoyed staying another night or two at this location. The rooms were spacious and everything was very clean, including the laundry and common areas. The staff was professional and very courteous.

En revanche la piscine est beaucoup plus petite que ce qu’il n’y parait sur les photos et le petit déjeuner a le minimum mais je trouve que pour un hôtel de cette gamme il pourrait mettre plus de choses comme des oeufs, du bacon, du pain et plus de fruits frais. Et aussi avoir une machine à café qui propose autre chose que du regular.

- Vacation11030250020 (4/5): Poor front desk staff - Just curious, who Karen is? We are Platinum at this hotel. Asked if there were any other rooms as we were put into the worst room in the hotel - 1st floor, near the dining space. Not offered our normal complimentary waters or points. Honestly it’s pretty par for this hotel, They charge way too much for nothing. And they insult you. This will be reported to Marriott as well.

- dougrY8678HW (10/5): Marriott Fairfield Inn Alamosa Great Place to Stay - We spent an excellent night stay at the Fairfield Inn Alamosa. I am impressed with the professionalism of the staff and the cleanliness of the hotel. As a Marriott Bonvoy Lifetime Titanium Elite, I’ve stayed at many Marriott branded hotels. This Fairfield Inn raised the Fairfield bar! Anyone starting or ending their Rockies vacation in the rugged south-central Colorado area, might want to check this place out. This is my second stay at this location and will be back when in the area.

- cxmar28 (2/5): Worst Customer Service and Management - I am writing to express my extreme dissatisfaction with the customer service I received at this hotel. I had reservations for my family to stay during a family reunion. Before our check-in date, I called to make a few changes, and the front desk clerks I spoke with were amazing and confirmed the reservation was set and good to to go. However, upon arrival, my parents and children encountered a front desk clerk who refused to let my mother check in, despite her name being added to the reservation. When I called to explain that I had confirmed these changes twice, the clerk accused us of yelling, kicked us out of the hotel, and canceled our reservation. I attempted to speak with a manager, but the front desk clerk hung up on me three times and refused to provide any information to contact a manager, as well as threatening to call dispatch on me and file harassment charges. When I finally reached a manager, I found their demeanor to be no different from that of the terrible front desk clerk. The customer service at this hotel is unacceptable, and the entire experience was awful. I will never recommend anyone stay here after the way we were treated.

- newjerseyfamily (8/5): Nice choice to visit Great Sand Dunes, could be a little better. - It’s a very nice looking hotel with a friendly attentive staff. Size of the room was fine, but Fairfield needs to reconsider their furnishings. We are a family of three in a room that sleeps four. So why the one small bench for luggage? We ended up moving out the desk and put luggage on there. The poof looks nice but you wind up using it to hold luggage. Why not a long bench for luggage that can hold 4 large cases? Drawers underneath would help. Some hooks maybe? Luckily the bathroom was roomy with two toilet paper rolls. The shelf in the shower was perfect for our supplies. The closet was good for out laundry which we did there. Laundry room was fine, clean and inexpensive. I always appreciate a good dryer that really dries. Bonus for being located next to a dollar store and close to Walmart. Downtime easy to access and there are some great restaurants. Easy to get to Safeway to pick up picnic supplies if your heading to Great Sands National Park, which is about 45 minutes away. Breakfast could be better. We got there after 8 and the first day they were out of all hot food. They replenished with a few things. No fruit. Coffee was good. Second day was a little better, there was something hot in every chafing dish. Smallest blueberry scones I ever saw but they were good. Our biggest complaint was the internet which kept dropping out. Maybe something was wrong but it was annoying. Overall we did enjoy our experience.

Maar goed, dan toch een paar kleine verbeterpunten: De verlichting in de kamer is ongezellig (cool-white). Verander de kleurtemperatuur van de lampen naar warm-wit (3300K), dat maakt het een stuk aangenamer. Er is geen anti-slipmat in de badkamer en dat is best gevaarlijk.

- Steven (8/5): - I would like to give 5 stars for our stay, but due to tech issues, we were unable to check in at 4:00. We went back at 7:30, system still done, but we were walked to our room, let in with a master key and told if we left we’d have to prop our door open so we could get back in. Nothing was offered as compensation and at $300.00 a night, I felt something should have been offered. Also, even though the a/c worked great, it was very noisy.

- Kelly (6/5): - Hi. We weren't able to go. Our son woke up sick with a high fever and so we had to cancel our trip. Unfortunately, we lost our money because I had booked about 2 to 3 days before the stay.

- LEK114 (4/5): Improvement needed - Our shower had dirt stains all over the bottom of the tub, and there were also pubes in the corner of the shower. Also, there are those bright neon white light bulbs in the room which are very harsh, and the outlets in the lamps by the bed to plug your phone in were too loose and didn't fit with my charger. Had to use a wall plug. Rooms are just so-so at best and the breakfast wasn't great (few fresh items and no fruit at all). Also there was a dog in a room down the hall that was barking nonstop early in the morning for a long time - woke us and others up. Pets kept alone in rooms shouldn't be allowed. Overall, disappointed in this property - have stayed at far better ones.

- Juan (2/5): - Shower looks dirty and old , the 2 things I like from a hotel is the jacuzzi and breakfast, jacuzzi clorox was too strong I still with headache, Breakfast was very limited there is NOT options for people on low carb diet, and I get surprised when I see empty containers and a lot of people waiting for food , on My Room the shower has stains on the floor and a lot of water spots, I really don't like to take a shower there ......some of the employees don't really answer my questions, I REALLY GET SURPRISED WHEN I SEE THIS HOTEL HAS A 9.2 RATE

- Carrie (6/5): Do not let them run your card twice!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! - The lady at check in ran my card twice for "incidentals" because she said the machine kept doing this recently but not to worry because it would not charge me twice. I paid for my room before I got there. She never told me what the fee was for the incidentals, but I was in fact charged twice totalling near what I already paid for the room.

- Kathy (10/5): - The person who checked us in was amazing! During our previous hotel stay, we learned that my son and I could no longer share a bed because he’s quite the bed hog. I asked about renting a rollaway bed, but I’m guessing they weren’t available at this location. Instead, she upgraded us to a room with a pullout couch so we’d have a third bed. It was such a kind gesture and made all the difference for a good night’s sleep. I really wish I had remembered her name!

- Zary (10/5): Students STAY here - This location is safe, simple, modern and just a perfect place to be comfortable in. No other hotel could compare in this area. I am a student in ASU, and strongly encourage that you stay in this hotel, even if it's not on the cheaper side, I still ENCOURAGE STRONGLY that you stay here, it's so safe and the staff are sweet and hardworking

- Arguello (10/5): Terrific Value - above average - This was the best hotel room we have seen in a while. The room and bathroom were spotless. Everything in perfect condition. I love the nice flooring as opposed to scary carpet. Beds and pillows were great. Breakfast was decent with plenty of options. I would absolutely stay again. I have nothing to say, every thing was above average.

- Danyale (8/5): - The hotel itself is very nice it might even be new. They do housekeeping every other day which was fine we were there 3 days so housekeeping the middle day was fine with me. The 2 things I did notice was the last 2 days of my stay the breakfast was wiped out and not restocked. I also picked this hotel because it had a hot tub which was broken the entire stay. If your kids like a big pool this one is not real big so we chose to not use it and just to use the nearby hot springs instead.

- Mark (6/5): - Breakfast is very weak and not appealing at all..staff could not keep up with the amount of people. Took for ever to get the staff to refill the coffee as well as the food.. terrible to say the least; but they had a tip jar forefront of everything? For what.. I was given a room that they said was renovated; very bad job of renovating. Caulking was old and mildewed as well as the shower pan was stained. Money for renovations not very well spent..
- StephensWanderings (8/5): A Little Secluded - Stayed here for two nights to attend a funeral. My parents stayed in a separate room. It was nice, but basically too far to walk to anything, as it is at the edge of everything. The room was nice and clean. The staff were friendly. Breakfast had some surprises, like mini quiches.
- Verified traveler (8/5): Comfort in Alamosa - Accommodating staff. The property is currently under renovation but there were minimal disruptions. Breakfast wasn't always stocked well but a good selection.
