floridabeach87 (2/5): Do Not Stay Here! - Do not stay here unless you’re okay with your ID being compromised. I recently received confirmation that a guest registered as me, including my email address. No problem at the front desk. No need to show a driver’s license like at every other hotel in the U.S., including Wyndham, supposedly. Fortunately I have yet to see a CC charge but still monitoring the situation. I contacted the hotel management as well as regional reps and the BBB. The manager apologized but didn’t acknowledge the problem, just that it was an employee oversight. This is not only a reflection of the Super 8 by Wyndham Dalton/Convention Center, but of Wyndham, whose name is on it. Be careful when you find this place on your search. No ID, No Problem.

Unlimited hot water for a hot soak in the tubComplintery coffee in room was short real coffee , a lot of decaf . No cups to make it . The represenative at front desk deserves a raise for exemplary service . He's a good man , you to keep him !
anniecD7019IL (2/5): Roach motel - We were very dissatisfied with this hotel it had roaches and it was not as clean as we thought it would be we had to sanitize and clean the room ourselves location was okay, also the price was very very high will not stay there again for a low budget hotel.
LindasS624 (4/5): Beware of roaches - Very upset about the roaches! We were doing a double vacation and my husband drove to Florida. My family and I helped him find a place to stay along the ride. He stayed only one night. He got up early, turned on the bathroom light and there were roaches scurrying around. My husband had to kill them. I'm glad I had flown that part of the trip, every person in the place would have heard me screaming. I sent an email to the hotel and they didn't bother answering. I called Wyndham hotels and they said you have to go online to file something, they do not personally own them. The website is out at least today. I called back and they said they couldn't find the reservation, yet I have the bill right in front of me and they just said try online. He had to check everything he brought in before he put his luggage in the van.
Richard (8/5): - The condition of the room was very nice and clean. Parking was convenient. Service attendant at the desk was very friendly. Negative: the level of quality of the breakfast food was fair to poor. The wrapped products were Baker's Corner brand. Coffee and juice was acceptable. In house eating was prohibited. It is time to lift this restriction.
William (6/5): - Main thing was it was clean enough and didn't smell bad. I travel a lot. And during the last 2 years, most of my hotel experiences have been very poor. This place was fair. It didn't smell or have junkies and hookers patrolling the area. It's in a little quad with bunch of hotels mish-mashed into the area. No amenities were available except a coffee maker in the room. The ice machine was in the main hotel entrance behind a staff door in the unused dining area. Review would be higher if the room was around $40. But I paid double that and it wasn't a good deal for what you got. The bed and pillows were nice and clean though. That's a big plus. But the carpet was old and rundown. The staff were nice, but the girls' boyfriend was loitering around the lobby. I hate that, not professional. Family run chain hotels need to understand that you may need family to help run it, but it's a business, not a family that makes money with a hotel side hustle.

The “Breakfast” was practically nonexistent but the coffee was decent, but there was no half & half just coffee mate. The king size Bed was very comfortable which was a big plus! Worst was the lack of breakfast.

264ranas (10/5): Great Hotel - The was my second time staying at this hotel. The first time was booked for me and after that great experience I knew where I would stay when I had to go the second time. Don't let the name fool you - your get all the comforts for a great price at ths place
Joshua (4/5): - It smelled extremely musty. Like if you forget you washed clothes and left them in the washing machine for like 2 or 3 days musty. The toilet wobbled really bad. The blow dryer buttons didn't work. So to turn it on and off I had to unplug/plug it in. The breakfast wasn't really good.
Tour282591 (2/5): Poor Conditions - Terrible! We had booked a “no smoking” room, but the room we were assigned reeked of smoke and was in a generally poor state. We asked for another room, and the second room was worse. It even had an ashtray which surprised the man at the front desk. Since they were unable to give us a no smoking room we left. Now I have to deal with Travelocity over the money we are owed.

Jenyroseshields (2/5): Disgusting - Terrible smell in the room and the floor was FILTHY. My sons feet were black from walking around barefoot for just a few minutes. So gross. If it wasn’t so late and we were not exhausted I would have gotten a refund and went to the holiday inn next store. The price difference was maybe $10.

The rates are very reasonable. Plenty of places to eat and close by the hotel. The location is perfect. I’ll be back next time I’m headed to Florida!!

Not to mention, I wasn’t informed of the deposit hold until I saw the pending $141.85 charge. Thankfully it dropped off once I checked out. All in all, I wouldn’t recommend this hotel. I made sure to clean all of my clothes and my things after coming home.

William (6/5): Still tired - Was suppose to be a king bed got two doubles there were noisy neighbors which started at 9:30 and management told them to quiet down or leave. They left and partied elsewhere till 3:00 came back and were obnoxiously loud. Manager again told them to quite down. After 45 minutes they probably passed out. We left at 6:00 promptly.

sueQ6090BP (4/5): I will not be back. - A few of the rooms appeared to have people permanently living there. There were windows with blinds and curtains, and a room with a grill, lighter fluid and charcoal sitting by the door A group of men were hanging around outside. In the middle of the night two ladies were standing outside a room door smoking and talking and appeared to be waiting on a ride. I felt very unsafe. It certainly doesn't have the feeling of a convention hotel at all. The bathroom had mold in the corner of the floor, and a hole had been badly repaired. I will not return to this hotel.
Ulmubi (8/5): Surprisingly good for a two-star hotel - I picked this hotel because of its location (close to I-75) and the reviews, which were mostly positive. I found the hotel to be clean and comfortable. All of the hotels on this side of I-75 seemed newer and clean. There was very little outside noise even with the Interstate right next door. The beds were comfortable and the room was very clean. For an overnight during a long trip to/from Florida it was perfect for my needs, and very affordable. NOTE: There are two Super 8 motels very close to I-75 at this exit. The one on the east side of the expressway looked much worse for wear than the one on College Street. Beware that you pick the right one!
Vasily204 (8/5): Great, convenient location - Good place to stay, very convenient to I-75 and the Dalton Convention Center. Good complimantary breakfast. The room was good, the bed comfortable. My only problem was maintaining the right temperature. First, too cool, then too warm. Other than that, I'd definitely stay here again.
heathercR1502BD (4/5): rooms run down - we were heading to Florida on vacation and stopped off at Super 8 in Dalton, GA. Will never return to it again. Room was not in good repair. Bathtub had a piece hanging off it. Grout around sink was falling apart. I have seen better furniture in a bonfire. It was very cheap quality, chipped and scratched. Beds and pillows uncomfortable but that is a personal choice. I checked my bank records a few days later to find out I was charged about $12 for something as soon as I arrived, don't know what. I received my bill when I was leaving the hotel and paid it in full so not sure what is going on. Definitely will not return.
kangle1229 (8/5): Overnight - My wife and I had reservations here for one night on our way to florida. I had reserved a 1st floor room. The girl at check in said their were no first floor available even though the parking lot was almost empty. I explained I had a bad hip and couldn't climb stairs. She said they have no handicap rooms. She finally came up with a first floor room. When get into the room and the bathroom is flooded. We reported this. Maintenance came and he was very nice. He said a pipe had burst in the wall. He moved us to a new first floor room. Over all it was a nice stay despite the attitude of the girl that checked us in. .
cojoperk88 (2/5): Roaches!!! - BEWARE: We stayed at this hotel over the weekend of 11/2/19 for a softball tournament. It was a complete dump and the room was very dirty. The continental breakfast was a joke. The second night of our stay we discovered roaches crawling in both beds! My daughter was so scared. We packed up our things and took them outside to shake everything out in the freezing cold. We went to the front desk and the front desk clerk was very rude. She said we would not get a refund for the first night because we didn’t complain that night! I asked for an apology and she never gave one and said I could call the manager on Monday if I wanted one! I explained that we didn’t have anywhere else to stay and she said, “Yup, everything is sold out in the area.” I can’t believe people get treated this way!

Verified traveler (10/5): Good Overnight stay - We were very comfortable here. The rooms were nice, staff was nice and interacted with our two year old (she loved it). The breakfast was good and what you would expect at a motel. They were close to the interstate and had a lot of brochures for things to do in the area. They didn't have a pool or things to do at the motel, so it really is best just for a place to sleep and eat.

Dissapointed (4/5): Not a good experience - Reserved a non-smoking room but the room smelled like the bottom of an ashtray. People in the room next door were screaming at 2AM. Had to call the front desk twice before they made a call to their room (yes, the walls were that thin that I knew when their phone rang). I generally like Super 8 hotels, but I definitely would not stay here again.
Stephanie (10/5): Great stopover - Just off I-75 exit 333, so it was very conveniently located. I was traveling with my dog and there was plenty of space for her to exercise and "do her business" The room was very clean and appeared to have been updated recently. The bed was comfortable and so was the chair, which I sat in to read for a couple of hours. The motel appeared to be well managed. I will definitely stop over there again when I go through the area. There were many restaurants, as well as shopping, close by.
