Ashoka (10/5): Best Hospitality in Qatar - My stay was absolutely amazing from check-in to check out completely stress free and truly a relaxing leisure experience. The room was excellent and fully equipped with all the facilities I needed. Breakfast was outstanding, with high quality food and exceptional service that exceeded expectations. This is definitely one of the best hotels in Doha for anyone wanting to experience true Qatari hospitality. I also had dinner at the Q Lounge, where both the food and service were excellent. As someone working in the hospitality industry myself, I truly appreciated the professionalism of the staff. They made me feel so welcome and comfortable, as if I had known them for a long time. Overall, I would rate my experience 100 out of 10. This has definitely become one of my favourite places, and I will certainly be back very soon. Honestly, there is nothing negative to say this has been one of my best stays so far across the six countries I have visited. The only small suggestion I would make is to consider adding USB sockets inside the rooms. It was not an issue at all, but it would definitely be a nice value addition for guests.

AyatMasoud (8/5): Very good - I visited Banana Island Resort Doha by Anantara during Eid in March, and overall it was a very good experience. This wasn’t my first time staying here—we came back because of how much we enjoyed it previously, and it definitely lived up to expectations again. The villa was excellent, and everything about the stay was comfortable and well-organized. What really stands out at this resort is the service. The staff are attentive and helpful, and it’s clear they care about guest experience. At one point, the breakfast area was quite crowded, but after we spoke with the manager and chef, they handled it well and arranged for breakfast to be sent to our villa, which we appreciated. That said, there were a few minor drawbacks. The breakfast area itself can get overcrowded during peak times, and some of the food orders throughout the stay took longer than expected to arrive. Overall, it was still a great experience, and I would rate it 4 out of 5. The quality of the villas and the level of service make it a place worth returning to.

RussellWilliams (10/5): World class resort 100% - This is my favourite hotel resort. The facilities are incredible, it is like a paradise island and has a very different vibe to Doha. We travelled as a small family and my toddler son absolutely loved walked round the paths, gardens and especially the kids' swimming pool. Every single staff member was friendly and welcoming. Waiters, cleaners, gardeners, life guards, resort staff ... everyone said hello and smiled and made us feel at home. Special thanks to duty manager Nay Win Aung who arranged a special boat crossing for us so we could catch a flight early morning. Also thanks to Louise for the tour of the island and answering our questions. Fantastic service from both. I love this place and will return next year.
