It was peaceful, in a great location and once the windows were opened the Cape Town breezes entered freely! The staff were delightful and very helpful. I cannot sleep in sheets that are not 100% cotton - they are too hot.

• Margot (8/5): Perfect for a quick trip in Cape Town and not too close to the hustle and bustle of the CBD. - The location and facilities inside the apartment were good. The finishings were lovely too and I like to provision of a braai space within the complex. It is also in a good part of the CBD. There was some hiccups with the process prior to check-in, as the initial room I had booked was in fact not available., which the local team dealt with quite well. But this caused some confusion in communication from the head office about when payment was due. The parking is free but a bit tight inside depending on how busy it gets.

• Buyi (7/5): Couple Getaway - The comfort of being able to watch TV in my bedroom.I loved the air-conditioning for the cold weather.The kitchen had everything u need,home away from home.The reception staff Annelize was amazing. The room booked was advertised as full bath and shower but it only had a shower available.The house keeping was done once during a 3 night stay on the second day in the afternoon,I didn't get a change of bed linen during the stay.The condiments were few for the number of people,we literally had 3 sugars for both of us to share.The Nespresso machine didn't have any capsules offered so I'm not sure if u have to bring your own.

• Jane (6/5): Disappointing and quite stressful, mainly because of the debit card issues. - My extended family were in the 3 ground floor apartments which made it easy for us. The WiFi was good. The daily housekeeping was excellent. My bedroom window (apartment 2) opened onto a corridor next to reception and was very noisy from early morning. Phone signal was very poor. They advertise a Wellness Spa and a Games Room which don’t exist; not sure about the Kids Club, business centre, childminding or beach towels. Through Booking.com, they advertise ‘payment on arrival’ but, after booking, payment was attempted 3 times against my debit card, resulting in my bank intercepting it, cancelling the card and issuing a new one. Access is via a steep slope or steps from the pavement level gate so not suitable for anyone with mobility issues; also the shower is over a bath.

• Verba (10/5): - Great property, great people. I loved it. At first I was a little disappointed because the description wasn’t accurate but the experience there overall was exceptional. I would definitely stay there again.
• Maroulla (6/5): Lovely place but so unbearably noisy. - We were in Room 5 which was very spacious, hot powerful shower and the bed was very comfortable.The kitchen was generously stocked for self catering and the Nespresso machine was a bonus.Our room was pretty dark as we had to keep the curtains drawn due to being on ground floor.The apartment could do with a little refresh.Our biggest issue was the noise was horrendous and the receptionists could do something about that.Early in the morning kids were running riot from other rooms and the adults were shouting to each other as no-one bothered to intervene and encourage quiet.Do not stay here unless sleep is your lowest priority.
