- SUKIJ (9/5): - We are here for 3 times already. We enjoyed the private ski slope at the hotel and also 15 min drive to Akakura Onsen Ski Area. This is perfect for my 5 years old children to practice their ski skill. Very convenient. The Onsen is also great, but would be even better if adding an outdoor Onsen parts. Everything is perfect, but improve on variety on dinner set menu for longer stay guests would be even better.
- Tee Yong (10/5): This place exceeded our expectations. We will stay again when come to this area for sure. - The property is well located, not too far from the Akakura Onsen ski area. The staff service is excellent in every aspect. The onsen facility is very good with great view . The room is clean and has all that you need. The big breakfast spread and the kaiseki dinner is commendable. The ski slope is small but very suitable for absolute beginners. Price for ski is also very affordable.
We stayed for 6 days and our whole group thoroughly enjoyed our stay very much.
On our 3rd day, on our way back from Suginohara ski session, our car got stuck on an icy patch near the hotel. When called, the staff came to assist immediately and pulled-tow our car back to hotel unreservedly. And even we arrive pass the dining time, the kaiseki dinner was ready for us 8 pax. We were very surprised with their level of attentive service. Kudos to the staff team. This is the best stay in our whole 2 weeks of Japan trip. None

- Hyungkon (10/5): - 식사, 온천 위치

- Kultida (10/5): Very nice and impressive stay - Room is very nice and modern, well decorated with spaces. Onsen is good too. Breakfast and dinner also nice and value for what we paid. The facility and location next to their own slope. Only you have to drive about 5 km in small road to reach the hotel.
- Matthew (10/5): It was a great stay at Kyukamura Myoko. Very clean and tidy and the staff were very friendly and helpful. - Everything was great at this property. Nothing.

- dannielle (10/5): Beautiful Japanese hospitality and super relaxing drinking a beer from the lounge while watching the teens snowboard dow - This was a perfect place for our teens to get a hang of snowboarding and also experience Japans beautiful hospitality. You can walk up to Seki Onsen for more advanced terrain or utilise taxi or the hotel shuttle to get to Myoko Kogan for a bus to Akakura. The food is amazing but you need to be seafood lovers as it’s very fish based. Not an issue for our family as we loved it all but worth noting. It is a bit away from the main ski resort areas but wasn’t an issue. We enjoyed day tripping to Akakura and also just hanging at the hotel.

- Seyhock (10/5): Wonderful Stay - We stayed at this hotel for the second time and truly enjoyed it again. The rooms are comfortable, the onsen is wonderfully relaxing, and both breakfast and dinner are excellent with attentive service. Their selection of local wines is a delight and never disappoints. With ski facilities on-site and a convenient shuttle to and from the train station, it’s a fun and hassle-free stay. None

- Dale (9/5): Best staff, meals and location (if you have a car) - Staff were amazing, so friendly, attentive, accommodating, and just so proactive to make your trip th emost amazing experience.
The location is great for the smaller Myoko resorts, and even has its own run, which is very beginner and family friendly.
Lots of free parking, equipment storage, and rooms very very generous.
We took the options of having our meals included and they were excellent Japanese-style meals that were adapted to our groups dietary requirements and very plentiful, healthy and interesting. Nothing
- Chung (9/5): Superb -
- Charles (10/5): Exceptional - Staff incredible !
- Holly (10/5): Exceptional -
- Iris (8/5): Very good -
- Wang (9/5): Great value of money - Great value with good food. Room and Onsen is clean.
- Patricia (9/5): Comfortable and pleasure stay! - The room is big and bright. Food for breakfast and dinner is very good and delicious. Staff are friendly, very great that there is a Chinese staff and he helped us a lot! The toilet in our room has smell!
- Denis (10/5): Exceptional - Great hotel with friendly and helpful staff and amazing views from the room.
The ski run next to the hotel is beginner only but you can walk easily to seki onsen area which has more advanced terrain.
- Kun (8/5): Very good -
- Ohtee (9/5): Very comfortable stay - Everything is great. Onsen and views from the window is good 1. Breakfast setup has congestion
2. Hotel is situated upslope. During winter, road can be icy. Our car has winter tyres, but still got stuck.
- Yi (9/5): Great food, comfortable, well-worth! - Considering the price, the stat was comfortable and really well worth it! The food was excellent and the breakfast spread was very satisfying. The quality of the ski rental equipment were sub par but also explains the lower cost. The public bath was slightly old and simple, but we appreciated the additional amenities provided.
- Ching (9/5): Short drive to other skii resorts but good value stay in the area - Japanese style buffet breakfast is fantastic with japanese rice ball counter, good selection of hot dishes, very fresh salad bar, cold soba noodle, egg & rice, crossiant and selection of coffee, tea to local yohurt drink. Kaiseki dinner was better than expected with unlimited refill of rice and miso soup, they also offer sake tasting sets. Public bath has plenty of shower slot, even in the peak hours there is no waiting. Not having a shower in the room and tatami room is a bit small to fit 3 people.
- Tanya (8/5): Very good -
- Tanya (9/5): Great place to stay with a family. - The food was really good. The rooms were large. Close to the ski fields. The Japanese beds were hard.
- Margot (10/5): Exceptional -
- Ezequiel (10/5): Exceptional -
- Kevin (8/5): Very good -
- Emmeline (9/5): Superb - The scenery around the hotel is fantastic. Love the amenities provided in the onsen. Availability of paid washing machine n dryer was useful. The bedding for tatami was a bit thin. Would be better if the pillows were firmer.
- Ginka (10/5): Exceptional - The room was very big and super clean. The view from the room was 😍
The food was absolutely amazing and we enjoyed the dinner at the restaurant. They served so many beautiful dishes. It exceed our expectations. Everything was more than delicious.
We enjoyed the onsen on site. The shared bathroom had even more things that you need. They thought about every detail.
The staff was super friendly and helped us with transport information.
We will be back for sure! Everything was great.
- Alison (7/5): We had a pleasant stay and the staff were always helpful. - Availability of parking was good.
Heating was good except in the foyer area.
Room was a good size.
The dinners and b’fast’s were very good. There were no chairs in the ski room.
Smell of the room when we arrived this could be to do with the matting on the floor. To overcome this we kept the window open.
No shelves to put your items on.
No x-large slippers.
No ski passes to other resorts.
- Andrew (8/5): Very good - Fantastic value for money traditional Japanese friendly hospitality and delicious Japanese food. A short drive to brilliant snow fields including Seki run by mum and dad.
- David (8/5): Very good -
- Jane (9/5): Superb -
- Christopher (8/5): Comfortable and enjoyable stay. Food could use a little improvement. - Great service, comfortable, clean rooms, lovely onsen, ski rentals and ski in/out location The food was not as good as last year’s. No more regular bread/jam/ butter or scrambled eggs for breakfast.
Also the dinner, the raw fish/ seafood was not always the freshest tasting.
- April (10/5): Value for money - Staff
Food
Location I can’t open the window . What if there’s a fire?
- Cynthia (8/5): Very good - Value for money, fair distance from ski resorts and convenient stores, just 15mins away from most places limited food in daytime (lunch)
- David (8/5): Very good - Ski in ski out was good, especially if you were a beginner. Clean, staff are very helpful. The shuttle bus needs a few more trips to Myoko during the day, 2 is not enough.
- Monica (10/5): Exceptional - Very traditional
- Damien (9/5): Pleasant & helpful Staff. Relaxing and really nice & good value Resort. - Close and easy access to Seki Onsen skifield, access via the flat learners slope out the back of hotel, then a 5min walk to the Seki for deep pow skiing.
Gourmet Japanese dinners which was perfect for my wife and myself but our Kids couldn't eat it due to their Western taste. Really nice facilities and onsen with Sauna. Unless you have a car the location isn't great to access the main ski fields in Myoko, great for Seki Onsen ski field.
- Yau (10/5): Exceptional - The place was exceptional with friendly staff and services. The room and onsen were both well facilitated and clean. We were staying here for six nights and they prepared us different Japanese style dinners on every night, which were all amazingly good. The buffet breakfast was nice with good variety as well.
We have had a great time here and skiing in Myoko.
- Tom (7/5): Good -
- Rong (10/5): Recommend anyone would like to come for skiing - Perfect for skiing , Staff are so helpful , food is yummy.
- Seyhock (9/5): Wonderful stay! - Well established hotel with right level of facilities and services.
Onsen was excellent. Ski facility is better than expectation for beginner like me. Enjoy the ski activity a lot.
Breakfast has plenty of local variety - and very delicious.
Dinner was excellent with different type of dishes - excellent Sake as well.
Services was so friendly, helpful and felt so welcoming.

The staff goes out of their way to accommodate our needs, even arranging for ski instructors for our kids when there usually aren’t ski lessons during the week.
The food was so delicious! The buffet breakfast and special nightly dinners were such treats. We felt like royalties!
The Onsens were clean and calming.
We had a wonderful time and would definitely return if our travels bring us back to Myoko.
Many thanks to all the staff who made our trip so memorable. We wish you all the best! Nothing
- Nattakarn (9/5): One of the best ski resort for family with kids and elderly. - It is one of the best ski resorts for beginner. The slope is a good challenge for newbies and the lift ticket is cheap and not crowded at all. I can get to snowboarding right in the back of the hotel. I would recommend it for families with elderly and kids. The dinner is included and it is very good and delicious. The Onsen is very small. The family room is pretty old but it has a bathroom inside. The double rooms is nicer but there was no bathroom.
- Anthony (7/5): Good -
- Sharon (9/5): We loved staying here. The rooms are excellent, a real Japanese experience. Staff are so helpful. - The meals were excellent. Breakfast is a mixture of Western and Japanese. The dinner meal was a traditional Japanese hot pot. So yummy. Myoko does not have a ski shuttle bus so getting to the different ski runs is expensive via Taxi. Kyukamura Myoko is about 30 minutes away from most ski runs, 80 000 yen in Taxi fare.
- Choon (8/5): i would recommend my friends. - meal is fantastic, they serve three different dishes for all three days during my stay.
small town good for holiday. ski track suitable for beginners nil
- Sook (10/5): Exceptional - Nicely renovated spacious room with a beautiful view of the ski grounds. Staff were helpful and efficient. Good value for money. We had a very relaxing stay.
- Ionut (8/5): Relaxing near the mountains - Location and view to the mountains. Old rooms and smell in the corridors
