• ewing (5/5): - Location and rabbits shuttle bus cafe Being forced to eat in horrible filthy hall instead of the glass seating area with a nice view I thought there would be a swimming pool it was 31c Maybe an idea to have outdoor seating eating area And I can't believe you dont sell RABBIT FOOD on rabbit island ? You'd make thousands in money 🤷🏻‍♂️ Ps at the lifts there's a glass panel that I hit my head on why is it even there ?? Some people are tall Please take it down before someone gets a head cut open 🤕

It's good enough for a night. - Relatively inexpensive, staff were nice and helpful Considering they're the only place to stay on the island, the building seems quite old and the facilities seem a bit dated. Things worked, but like just bare minimum, which I suppose is why it costs what it costs.

• Morla (10/5): A dream come true. - I love everything about my stay. I want to specifically acknowledge Haruta-san for making both our dinners and breakfasts very enjoyable. He recommended delicious food and was thoughtful during the food service. I'm very happy we got a photo with him!! I also want to acknowledge Tanigawa-san for making our check-in and check-out process seamless. I apologize if I mis-spelled anybody's name! The venue was bright, clean and quiet. Perfect to celebrate our honeymoon together. I greatly appreciated the futon set-up service. It was impressive to watch the skill of the employees who set up our futons efficiently and comfortably. The food was all exceptional. I loved every bite. Of course, I loved the bunnies as well. I could not think of a single negative aspect about my stay.

• Anssi (7/5): Stay overnight if you like bunnies - It is the only hotel in the island. If you want to stay overnight, you'll stay here. I think it is worth staying for the rabbits. The dinner and breakfast buffets were actually large and quite high quality, but... as vegetarian, the buffets unfortunately had very little for me. Still, they were better than I expected, but not something I'd pay much for. The rooms are quite barebones and cold in the early spring. No rabbit food to be bought.

• ytyt1125 (10/5): ウサギと戦争の歴史を楽しめる最高の場所です - ウサギと楽しむのに絶好のホテル。家族で行きましたが何日でも居られるくらい楽しかったです。朝夕の食事も美味しかったですし、自由参加のアクティビティも素晴らしい。家族はウミホタルの発光観察、私と家内は朝の散歩に参加しました。特に朝の散歩ではウサギのみではない日本の戦争の歴史、大久野島で何があったのかについてお話しを聞けてとても勉強になりました。また、家族で行きたいです。

• Nicholas (10/5): This hotel and island are really charming and the rabbits make it sweet and magical. - This is the only hotel on the island - the island is such a sweet place on account of the rabbits. The island is lovely besides the rabbits, feeling pretty tropical and great views. Dinner and breakfast had great variety in offerings and tasty food. Onsen was nice. Overall we super enjoyed this place. Room was clean with a good ocean view. The futons in our traditional room were not super comfortable but ok.

• Whitney (10/5): Great stay in a Japanese style room with tatami floors and onsen! - We really loved the location! We were able to wake up and go outside to feed and watch rabbits. The food was also great, especially considering its the only available restaurant on the island. They do a great job including foods that Hiroshima prefecture and the surrounding areas are famous for. I also enjoyed the onsen available at the hotel and the roomy Japanese style tatami room. I feel like it would be helpful if the island also sold some rabbit food. Some people appeared to visit the island but didnt have any food for the rabbits. They looked especially hungry because it was raining that day and not a lot of people visited. I know that there's no food on island so I prepared, but it might be useful to have small bags of food ready just in case other visitors don't realize they need to buy food before taking the ferry.

• Letitia (9/5): Awesome experience- loved the rabbits - Stayed here as halfway point on Shimanami kaido bike ride. Had Japanese room. Comfy futons. Dinner and breakfast were amazing, lots of choice and well managed, we chose what time to eat so maybe this helped spread people out over the time. Onsen was good - indoors one. We had no shower in our room so had to use it. Lovely facial products and hair products to use in onsen area. Lots of rabbits around, a few with injuries or sneezing but pretty healthy for a wild rabbit population. Very friendly rabbits. Ferry easy to catch and runs regularly. Interesting history museum of the island. The hallways could be updated. Maintenance work could be done on some areas of the island.

• Kenya (10/5): パラダイス。住みたい。 - うさぎまみれで海も大変に綺麗でゆったりと静かな瀬戸内の島にある宿。土地の名産含む夕食・朝食が最高。食べたかったもの全ては腹に入れられませんでしたが牡蠣が美味かった。日没後の海ほたる観察などのちょっとしたイベントが楽しい。朝の散歩イベントは起きられませんでした。ひとまず島での滞在が日常の生活からはかけ離れている。世界的にも知られていて訪れる人達が多いというのもよく分かった２日間でした。

• Manabu (9/5): Overall, this is a great place to checkout the rabbits! - Obviously the charm and novelty of this resort is The Rabbit Island, so being surrounded by the rabbits as you walk the area is one of a kind experience. The view of the ocean with the hike of the nearby area is wonderful too! Night time was so quiet and away from light pollution so it was beautiful at night too. It is not the property’s control but the timing for us was that the some of the hiking areas were closed due to Landslides and such. There are a few things that could be updated like the facilities - something just seems older, but still functional.

• Shawn (9/5): I enjoyed the stay in general and I enjoyed seeing the bunnies.A major highlight of our Japan trip. - Breakfast was large and there was a lot of choices. The building is old and has a musky smell. It takes some getting used to sleeping on the ground. The AC is difficult to keep controlled as the room temperature can fluctuate. The bunnies are generally out at dusk and dawn and into the evening and not so much during the day. The hike is strenuous. They ask you to take your trash with you.

• Esther (9/5): Helpful staff. The view and rabbits were wonderful. I hope to visit again - Breakfast was good and varied. The location was peaceful and a few things to do. The staff were really helpful and attentive. They were accommodating of my limited Japanese ability. The shop had a variety of souvenirs. The tour is in Japanese at a level I could understand but you had the option to inform if you had only English ability. The island was peaceful and dinner and breakfast included. There was a museum and the options to get around the island on bikes. The hotel was very chilled and the experience of being in a Japanese style room was enjoyable. The view was beautiful and I would definitely stay on the island again and of course seeing all the bunnies was a highlight but I did not expect to see such beautiful views from the viewing platform. The food choices were good but dinner could have had more choice. The fresh cooked section did not have anyone there to help prepare. The mascot was cute it would have been nice to be able to take one home.

• Marcie (10/5): 10/10 would come back! - The staff at the front desk was friendly and very helpful. Staff spoke English well. My family and I rented bikes to ride around the island. Highly recommended! Different size bikes are available for kids and adults. Kids bikes even have training wheel option. The Japanese style rooms were spacious with nice view of the rabbits and ocean. Onsen was clean and had everything you need. The buffet amazing! Kid friendly as my kids could serve themselves. I would stay here again!

• nathalie (10/5): Merci 🙏 - La gentillesse du personnel mention spéciale pour un homme qui était à l’accueil et qui était adorable et qui est aussi venu faire l’installation de notre soirée il appelait ça «  le Japanese magic show » Cet homme était merveilleux. Il a beaucoup d’humour et il est ultra professionnel. Nous souviendront toujours de lui. Merci à lui pour son travail. Le calme et l’environnement de l’huile sont exceptionnels et le restaurant et le buffet sont très très bon! Rien ! Nous reviendrons !

• Alejandra (10/5): - This was the Best hotel in our trip. Japanese traditional rooms that a VERY spacious. Theres no beds but the tatamis are really confortable, and no worries, the staff kindly ask You if You want them to prepare it. Rooms include a cortesy green tea. Buffets are really tasty, the cafe serves Nice food for lunch but theres also a story that sales instant noodles that You could prepare in your room. The island is so pretty, rabbits are not Even a bit shy and You can notice that they are well Taken care off by the hotel staff and also by people that lives nearby. I bought a calendar and i could even recognize in the pictures some rabbit and spots i saw there! The onsen is very Nice too! A little bit weird at the begining for Foreigners but you can go too early or too late for more privacy. The december sunset i saw there was the most beautiful ive seen in My life. Its weird not having a prívate shower but it's ok.

Other than that: - helpful, professional, English speaking staff, - absolutely great buffet for dinner (also for breakfast) with a variety of foods, including some local goodies, - very comfortable room and beds. As a person who's not comfortable going to public gender-specific places, I chose the room with the private bathroom this time, and the bathroom was also great. I wish there were cheaper rooms with the private bathroom.

• Kristoffer (10/5): It's the only hotel on the island, but it's worth the stay and convenience. - My family loved this place, as it was the only hotel in the island. I think because of this, the novelty was mostly because of the rabbits, but the accommodations were amazing, especially the onsen and we appreciated the nice touch to experience Japanese culture. No issues, aside from the sea firefly demonstration being in Japanese only and not being able to understand everything that was being said. There was a sheet to summarize, but that wasn't the same.
• Ellen (7/5): Quirky hotel on an unusal island. Come see the rabbits. - It's the best hotel on rabbit island! Because it's the only hotel on rabbit island. We stayed here overnight while biking the Shimanami Kaido because we wanted to see the ruins & the rabbits. This is an old, quirky hotel. Beyond the tragic history of the island, I guess this hotel used to be a spa destination decades ago. The abandoned tennis courts & pools are interesting to see (along with the ruins you come to this island to see). It's old. But you aren't coming here for the luxurious stay. The hotel also has a "curious" smell. I'll just leave it at that.

• Jungah (9/5): 토끼섬에서 여유롭게 머물기 - 토끼를 보러 가는 섬으로 유명한 오쿠시마! 독가스 관련 시설에 대해 관심이 없더라도 한적하게 산책하고 경치보기도 좋았습니다. 숙소 방 안에서 토끼굴과 뛰어노는 토끼를 볼 수 있어요. 조식석식 모두 뷔페식으로 제공되는데 무난무난 합니다. 계절별로 이벤트 들도 제공되고 있는 것 같고, 제가 갔을 때는 우미호타루(sea firefly) 관련 설명을 듣고 직접 볼 수도 있었습니다. 아무래도 숙소에 세월의 흔적이 느껴집니다.

• Dominika (10/5): Extraordinary experience - The location can’t be beaten. Bunnies are everywhere - especially in the morning before breakfast, which is something only the hotel guests can experience. The hotel rents bikes and those were in good condition. Food was just ok but nobody comes there for dining experience. Some of the staff members speak the best English I encountered in Japan. My room stank of fermented food when I first walked in to the point I felt nauseous. I had to keep the windows open or the air con on at all times, otherwise the smell would come back.
