• Mehmet (5/5): - There was a musty smell in every room. The rooms weren’t cleaned at all, and there were some lizards crawling around. The water heater in the bathroom wasn't working, and the sinks were clogged. The kitchen wasn't clean, nor was the refrigerator. It definitely wasn't worth the money. The furniture and rooms were nothing like the photos. The staff were very helpful, and the pool and view were beautiful.

• 61belindah (8/5): Nice hotel in Ubud - Great location hotel in Ubud. We stayed in the 2 bedroom unit. Was nice pool outlook overlooking trees and river below. Well maintained gardens, friendly staff, good restaurant. Enjoyed our stay.
• Tourist461929 (8/5): Mostly ok, but noisy - I liked the pictures, a small hotel with quite a big territory, surrounded by nature. I read a lot of reviews. So I was surprised when I arrived and the place was very noisy: construction around, a road and dragging of furniture on top of my room. The design is quite nice, the condition of building is ok, the room is quite big. Daily cleaning is done upon requst. The restaurant doesn't have many options.

• NGAIRE (9/5): Lovely relaxing stay and gorgeous staff - Our room overlooked the pool and the valley/river area. The pool was a good size. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We couldn't fault them. They always had a big smile and wave when they saw us. Our room was spacious, and the bed was comfortable. We stayed for 15 nights, and although the location is away from the centre of Ubud, the village of Nyuh Kuning (near monkey forest) was just perfect for us. The village is quite lovely and has plenty of dining options. We were extremely disappointed with the restaurant and the quality of food. The food was average quality for the standard of accommodation. The place is not being maintained properly. The owner needs to spend more money in maintaining a good standard all the time. We can see that the standard has dropped significantly since this was opened.
• Alana (1/5): Not for solo female travellers, and definitely not 4 stars - Reception staff in the day time were lovely. I asked in advance for a late checkout and they said they couldn't because they were fully booked, yet the night that I stayed there I didn't see a single soul. When I arrived back at the hotel at 11pm there was one man smoking/asleep in the lobby and about 4 young men all lying down asleep on the couches. As a solo female traveller I did not feel safe here. I know there was no one else in the hotel rooms nearby mine because all night every single balcony light stayed on, however if there had been patrons then they would have to turn them off to go to sleep or there would be too much light coming through under the curtain to sleep.

Hotel and restaurant staff were absolutely lovely and happily assisted with taxis and other requests. Staff presented beautiful birthday gift on my last day. The rooms are spacious and clean, however the hotel is looking quite run down and is need of some basic maintenance in rooms, lobby, pool and garden areas.

Staff were attentive super friendly and did a great job I appreciate its small hotel, but a basic gym and "proper" spa would really make a difference, there appear to be available rooms / spaces.

Pool is lovely and view looking over the narrow river makes you feel like you are in the jungle. Property is old. Hot water takes ages to warm up and the bathroom was a little smelly.

We just wish that the pool bar was up and running and the restaurant was a little nicer. For the price we paid though we were very happy with the experience. I loved the comfy daybed on the balcony. We had the room right above the pool and would say it would be the best room in the hotel. If there restaurant above the pool and the pool bar service was up and running we would definitely stay here again.

• Patricia (2/5): A massive disappointment for a supposedly 4-star hotel. - The staff were helpful and friendly, and the location was not too far from Ubud Centre. It might have been a decent 4 star property when it first started, but now it's just run down and undeserving of the status. The first thing we noticed upon entering the room was how run down the room looked. Not very well maintained, the cleanliness was also questionable throughout our 3 nights' stay even though there was housekeeping done daily. We had a toddler in tow and I was also still recovering from a surgery, so hygiene was paramount yet that was a major worry during our stay. For each day's housekeeping, we also realised we were shortchanged a lot. Our bedsheet was not changed, we were short of towels, short of toiletries, etc. We did not dare to use the kettle, as it was all rusty and even had some brownish water and blobs of stuff. We asked to change it but the kettle that was replaced was not any better so we did not touch it for the entire stay, nor did we dare to use any of the cups. The bathroom curtain was so riddled with mould, causing it to smell too. There was even a juvenile cockroach hiding under the bathroom mat when we first arrived. We were very disappointed with the entire stay as it definitely did not live up to our expectations nor the price we paid, especially since we had a few other choices in mind. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone until the management actually does a major review and overhaul of the place.

Lovely gardens and pool and right next door to the yoga centre which has AMAZING food and yoga! Good value for money - next time I would request a room not close to the road My room was close to the road and you could hear the car and scooter noise, all night. The breakfast was very average - the Ubud yoga centre food was sensational. Walk into town can take 30 minutes ,

I spent my 50th Birthday here and the staff brought me a cake and sang to me on my birthday, which my wife says she did Not arrange. This was so sweet and I will always remember it! The rooms were nice and quiet with lovely pool views. The breakfast was pretty poor and the tables had ants all over them. Even though we had paid for half board we did not eat breakfast or any meals here during our stay which was very dissapointing and a waste of money. The pool was pretty cold compared to other hotels and my daughter and I both got ear infections due to the cleanliness of the pool. Not good. There was No bar even though it was supposed to have a pool bar! This needs to be looked at by management!

The cleanliness of the hotel is not on a ,, 4* hotel level" to be honest. We found a dead cockroach in our bathroom and room needs a little bit of update in general. In europe that would probably be lower 3* hotel. But despite that, it is good value for money!

• 180edenv (10/5): Bali second time around - Very comfortable and worth the price and stay. Had a blast on the massage. Also, their staffs are accomodating and very helpful. Buffet breakfast was an 8/10 for me as i am not a chicken lover. Overall its a 9/10 for me. I would definitely stay here again.

Deal price on booking.com was very good and is the reason we stayed there and got to experience this lovely hotel as we otherwise would not have bothered. The artwork in our room was missing the sculpture so looked very strange. Feel your reception decor let's the amazing hotel down-The whole area inside the hotel is amazing, but the reception is very ordinary and not very inviting and doesn't interest you to look further inside.
• vlctripulante (10/5): Best location and hotel in Ubud - Best location in ubud, nice and peaceful location over looking the river and the forest, at 7 minutes from the center of ubud . The infinite large pool is amazing. The beds are very comfortable and the rooms nice and clean. The staff are very helpful and friendly especially at the front desk, Widi at the front desk was very helful and takes care of the hotel with a lot of love and kindnes. Next time I come to bali ubud I will stay here again.
• Peter (1/5): Bad - It turned out there was no running water in the room because of a defect in the swimming pool. When I pointed out it was not possible to stay in a room with no water, they proposed to bring a bucket of water. They would not give a refund. Eventually, I was moved to another room with a weak stream of water in the taps. But there, room ventilation was faulty and there was a thick sickening smell of pancakes. They should not take in customers knowing of these conditions.

• Sightsee41877967484 (10/5): Recomend 100% - Nice hotel and so quiet. The room 241 was perfect with infinity pool view. Staff very jumpy when needed and very smiley. Very good breakfast if you have included, very diverse, you can choose from 5 different dishes. Free parking, pretty good free wifi, each room has its own router. The view from the pool towards the jungle and the river is perfect. We recommend for the price/quality ratio.

Watching moon rise from the pool was a beautiful moment. I ordered vegetarian curry an rice which had bit of half cooked egg plant which was bitter. The welcome drinks were tasty but the ice may have given me the stomach ache and bit of diarrhoea. First time ordered food they mixed up and sent meat or prawn which had to be cancelled. For some reason everything smelt bit eggy or seafood.

Lovely little yoga studio and food up the hill room the apartment too. Only down side was the food here we order room service one evening as my girls were tired from a busy few day. Food arrived 1.5 hours later after having to call them, was all cold.. and the order was wrong. We struggled to communicate with the receptionist to get it changed. Apartment highly recommended, but not the food.

Hotel manager saying that u can leave the hotel in middle of night i will refund u and talking very rudely and laughing on me and say do what u want to do either sleep in room without AC or leave the hotel.think twice before booking

• Catherine (10/5): Beautiful relaxing hotel with the best pool! - My favourite part about the hotel was the swimming pool. It is surrounded by beautiful scenery and is a short drive to Ubud town centre. There is a free shuttle offered, however you have to leave at 10am. We enjoyed breakfast at nearby Outpost cafe and also the food at Sage is tasty; both a 3 minute walk from the hotel. The hotel is clean, quiet and comfortable. The rooms are spacious and staff very friendly. Nothing, couldn't fault it.
• Andrew (6/5): Stay was ok, but not the standard we had expected. - Pool was good Gardens were great Service generally was prompt, cheerful, obliging. The shuttle service was much appreciated. Some of their website promo pictures were of a different property; particularly the pool area. If we'd known that the hotel had been only open since May, following Covid closure, we may have booked elsewhere: Staff seemed untrained as a consequence. No liquor available at bar or mini-bar. Breakfast team was less than efficient: Every morning, had to ask for salt & pepper, serviettes, cutlery. Courses arrived together. Towels were not particularly white or fluffy.

• Johanna (10/5): I loved the service, staff super friendly and lovely - I loved the view from the back of the hotel. It’s just amazing. Lots of nature. 100%recommended if you are looking for connecting with nature. It’s about 10 minutes far away a from Ubud center by motorbike. There is also a yoga centre next door with a nice restaurant. There is not a pathway to walk outside of the hotel. Breakfast was included but it was not buffet, it was a la carta. I preferred to have breakfast outside in the beautiful Coffe shops in Ubud center.
• Michelle (10/5): Was perfect for us. Just kicking back enjoying life - Quite area. Amazing views & pool. Staff excellent. Room perfect For my 76yr old father hard to get around when leaving property. Both nights was celebration time and the cook was not available at hotel. 1st night difficult for father to walk up road for dinner. 2nd night ordered food with hotel guest who went pick it up for us. He was wonderful. Had to try a few times. Not the Hotels fault… just circumstance

• Lutfi (7/5): Gorgeous view and pool, comfortable stay with great service. - The best things about this hotel were the views, the pool and gardens. They were immaculate and the pool really is the centrepiece of the hotel. The rooms are comforntable and the sound of the river below is very relaxing to fall asleep to! We really loved the 'floating breakfast' - very 'Instagrammable', particularly with the infinity pool and greenery as a backdrop! The service by the main receptionist was also fantastic. She was always very helpful. They organised a 'free shuttle' to visit the nearby Monkey Forest. They were also great at organising massage therapists, even at short notice who can deliver massages in your room or in their dedicated spa room. Other services like luggage assistance, room cleaning and laundry were perfect and we were very grateful for these services functioning well. There are some aspects of the hotel that could use some attention. Mainly aesthetics and maintenance like room requiring re-painting in areas and some of the bath fittings not working as they should. The front of the building could also use some tidying up and disused areas are being used for storage rather than a gym or business centre (so you can catch up on emails or work if you are a digital nomad. There is also a bar area by the pool that is currently not functioning that could be used as a working bar or provide games/entertainment for kids or again a gym/fitness centre. Generally speaking though these were minor things and didn't dramatically impact on our stay here, and would still recommend, particularly if you can get a good rate on the 'Deluxe View Rooms' as we did.
• Jade (10/5): Peaceful and quiet with easy access to Ubud town centre - We love that the hotel is right next to the Ubud Yoga Centre and just a 3 minute bike ride away from the bustling streets of Ubud. We particularly love spending time in the hotel for its tranquility and spectacular jungle views by the pool. Staff are extremely polite and helpful towards all our questions about getting around Ubud. Stay here if you’re looking for peace and quiet but not too far from the main town area.
• Kristine (7/5): Quiet stay near a river - Breakfast was okay, it was ala carte menu but you really get the usual continental breakfast. There are local Indonesian options which is a nice break from the standard western ones. Location is a bit out of Ubud central but also meant it's quieter and u can hear the river flowing nearby. The pool was a small, infinity style one and was refreshing after a hot, humid day out. The staff were friendly and eager to help us book transport. Beds were nice and comfy. Rooms are definitely dated, particularly the bathrooms have seen better days.
