It had the basics with the bonus of a great spot. Too much room deodoriser used. The bedding seemed to be sprayed too. Glad I had my own pillow with me.

• Paula (9/5): A unexpected oasis - As soon as we opened the door to our room we were impressed with the decor, the cleanliness and the restful view. All the things you,d get in a 4*+ hotel. Jelly bean gift, warmer bottles in the fridge and large fluffy towels. The staff at check-in ( in the tavern) were friendly and when we ate in the pub, the food was delicious and a good selection of drinks.

The shower door wouldn’t open all the way because of how the toilet was placed. It was not super easy to access.

• Dawn (10/5): One night stay - would stay again - I was pleasantly surprised at this last minute booking, our original booking further up the coast had cancelled and at xmas time it is hard to get a booking. This accommodation was a little out of the main tourist areas, however so close driving to supermarkets, food outlets, and coffee. Room was exceptionally clean and tidy, small but with a a seating balcony. Lots of parking on site, but quiet during the night. Recommend booking dinner in the bar as you arrive as its very popular and well worth the meal. wifi/fridge/coffee & tea making included I was worried it was going to be noisy, at xmas and attached to a bar/restaurant/parking area but it wasnt.
