Guest Reviews
- Kevin (6/5): Student digs - Ok for one night. Not ensuite. Clean enough. Bed ok. Kitchen available for use.
- Christian (10/5): - Good friendly people and really high quality accommmodation
- Karl (10/5): - Ideal for walking into town comfortable room and continental breakfast in with the price awesome
- Roger (10/5): - Reasonably priced accommodation for overnight stay in Limerick as part of tour
- Robert (10/5): - very clean & affordable with a big kitchen and lots of dining space if you prefer to do your own cooking, the hot water kettle is always ready, tea & coffee provided
dorm style units are comfortable with a big desk space
laundry service available, not a far distance to walk to city center & train station
- Sharon (10/5): - Helpful 24 hour staff. Great facilities snd car parking. Nearby shop. Kitchen very useful. Loved it
- Linda (6/5): - Bare bones student housing. The bathroom wasn't cleaned while I was there until the 3rd day. Hairs stayed on the outside lip of the shower for 3 days. Toilet paper wasn't replaced until asked 2 times in 24 hours. The shower sprays on the TP so even if you have TP, it gets soaked when you turn on the shower. My sink in my room also had long hairs on it. I did get a towel for the shower, but no hand towels. The kitchen was good, even had on demand hot water for coffee, etc. It was kept fairly clean. Not very many pots, but plenty of dishes and cups. The doors are very loud, and there are lots of them slamming all night when people go to the bathroom. They did have a decent sized disabled bathroom. All in all, adequate. It's a 25 minute walk to town center. Nearby grocery.
- Christopher (10/5): - John was very helpful.
- Joanna (6/5): - Bathrooms not very clean. Toilet paper lacking. Most sanitiser stations empty.
- Jeffrey (8/5): - What is expected for a dorm room stay. Much quieter than expected! Staff very friendly and helpful.
Location was a good 15-20 min walk from major bus routes. That part of Limerick is a bit rough, but I did not feel unsafe. Convenient supermarket a short walk away. Met a lot of travelers- also very friendly. Was a good stay for the price!
- Edward (10/5): - Best 45 euros spent on this trip!
- Mael (10/5): - Correct price and correct situation.
- Holly (10/5): - This is great for people like me - on a budget. Nice big well equipped kitchen.
- Mikaëla (8/5): - Clean place and spacious kitchen. Nice staff.
- Anthony (10/5): - Great place for a single traveler to stay. Cheap, but clean and comfortable. Staff were very helpful and welcoming.
- Jenny (6/5): - The staff was friendly the moment we stepped into the premise. They also acceded to our request for a room at the ground floor due to our age. However the room looked quite run down especially the heater and the sink.
- Verified traveler (8/5): Good - Good for the price. Location is good. 15-20 min walk. The hot water was MIA for two days, but I lived. Front of Desk man was really nice. Accommodating.
- Edward (8/5): - Pleasant atmosphere, no public transport nearby, didn't matter much as it was a fairly short walk to the city (about 20 minutes) but in wet weather it might have been different'
A couple of benches in the green area outside the accommodation would be nice.
- Aisling (10/5): - A big thank you to all the staff in Courtbrack Accommodation, I enjoyed my stay there, everyone was so helpful.
- Claire (8/5): - Surprisingly, it was quiet and clean. Not in the latest fashion but functional The only complaint is that the wi-fi was not available in my room. I had to go in the corridors or the kitchen. Also it was a little bit off town center so i had to walk 1/2 an hour to arthur's quay and back.
- Marta (8/5): Simple stay - Nothing less or more, just a simple place to stay at when you just need a place to sleep. Not sure if there was a WiFi, at least I couldn't find one. No USB chargers, only the British ones.
- Patrick O (8/5): - Roomy clean tv there.no breakfast.doors bang everytime.ironboard was dodgy.some small washbasins if you want to wash ur face.shower too small
- Declan (8/5): Above my expectations - A pleasant stay here at Courtbrack, greeted by very polite receptionist. Although night time receptionist was as pleasant.
Good value accommodation
- patrick (8/5): - Good value pity bout towels
- Arnaud (10/5): - Nice folks!
- Marius (10/5): - Quality, clean , friendly
- Robert (10/5): Great value for a short stay.., - Although just over a mile south of the cory centre, the room is clean and fresh for an overnight stop. There is a large kitchen and lounge area for cable or home cinema. A great value, uni style accommodation...
- Verified traveler (6/5): - There is no wifi for most travelers here, even the front desk told us they can't even connect most of the time and need better wifi. I had no wifi my entire stay.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Great value for money, clean rooms, friendly staff.
- Janet (10/5): Good stay - Had a great stay with my entire family. Had three rooms. Was greeted with a smile. Rooms were clean and ready when we arrived. Fair Price.
- Janet (10/5): Clean and comfortable - We had three rooms. The facility was easy to find with plenty of parking, rooms were clean and towels were provided. There was one entry you could use and yet a number of exit doors that were locked, it would have been more convenient to exit at others. I had a bump bed in my room with no ladder going up to the top bunk which would have been nice. Breakfast was sketchy - cold cereal and toast - very minimal. Kitchen was well equipped so you could bring in your own food and cook any time during the day which was nice. Laundry was 5 euro for washer and dryer. Overall it was clean and value for money but nothing spectacular, simple with no frills.
- Ryan (8/5): Definitely give this place a try. - Had a great stay here in a private room. Staff was super friendly. Everything was clean for the most part. I just wish the restrooms got cleaned more often as they were shared with other guests. Great for a short stay near Shannon Airport. Plenty to see in the area within walking distance.
- Herbert (6/5): Only taxi or by walking to get to hostel - Be prepared to take the taxi or walk a few kilometres (or 25 mins) from the bus / train station or town centre to get to this place. Room had a odd smell and we had to keep the windows opened. The room and restrooms were clean and tidy. Breakfast is simple and okay
- Verified traveler (8/5): Very close to Dolans venue - Courtbrack was exactly what I expected it to be. A no frills, clean, affordable room very close to where I needed to be.
- joan (10/5): Good Convenient Hostel - a convenient summer hostel for Limerick.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Great location, simple and low-key, ideal if you just need a room for a night or two.
- Scott (10/5): Budget accommodation in Limerick - Good value accommodation to the South of Limerick. Has free parking, easy access to the main roads, 30 minute walk into the centre. Free breakfast and 24 hours staffing. About 10 minute walk to Dolan's pub for food or fast food restaurant virtually next door in a petrol station.
- Pat (8/5): Excellent value - Arrived at 22.00 hrs very prompt attention at reception 2 very helpfull gentlemen@ reception. 15 min walk to City center. Taxi from City center to Courtbrack €6.00. Room was very clean .Excellent value @ €30 for private room .
- ellie (10/5): limerick - Limerick was really a passing through point for us but the staff was excellent and went out of their way to accommodate us with laundry and wifi and ordering food.
- Verified traveler (10/5): Great value! - I stayed in a private room. The room was small, but ample for a solo traveler. The staff was friendly and helpful. I'd definitely stay here again, a great value!
- lindsay b (8/5): simple but great - just stayed for one night, and I was very pleased overall. the accommodations are simple, but it has all the necessities and it in a terrific location! my only complaint is that it was a little noisy at night because you can hear everything through the walls
- Verified traveler (10/5): Courtbrack: a great place & affordable in Limerick - I was here about three weeks ago for a 5-day sojourn.
I came for a conference at UL and despite the initial thinking on how far it may be, Courtbrack turned up to be rather close to UL, since a 10min walk gets you to a 304-bus stop, which, in turn, takes 12min to UL and costs a mere €2 every way.
This became a real plus, but also the fact of being 20min max walk from the centre of town.
Place is as rated above (4/5 stars) and I am, in fact, here back again these days for another conference at UL.
100% recommended and very clean and friendly and helpful staff members.
If you come to Limerick and are on a budget (or not!), Courtbrack is a really good place to stay.
- Derek & Mikli (8/5): Good location, nice room - Good staff, would definitely stay again. Location was close to everything but outside of the main downtown which was nice. Had all the ameneties that were needed and the breakfast was a nice touch!
Would recommend for sure. Great place to stay Limerick area.
- John (8/5): A pleasant place to stay.. Good location - A pleasant stay, basic student accomodation, yet clean and neat... Great cooking facilities.. The staff exceptionally friendly and helpful
- Verified traveler (6/5): Quiet and clean. - Nice kitchen facilities. Clean rooms and good beds. Not overly close to downtown Limerick. 15 minute walk into town (easy flat walk though). Staff very sweet. Laundry is a bit pricey (5 euros) but it includes detergent.
- STEPHEN (10/5): Very Welcoming Hotel. - The hotel staff were very welcoming and extremely helpful. The staff always had a smile on their face and were very helpful on giving me advice on places to visit.
- Erica (10/5): GREAT PLACE - Fabulous! Great advice on a place for dinner, great breakfast and a lovely pub 1/2 block away!
- Verified traveler (10/5): Easy night in Limerick - I booked this as cheap accommodation in my own room. I was really happy with the location, the venue, the helpfulness of the staff. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. The breakfast was basic, but he kitchen was clean and spacious. The wifi wouldn't connect on my macbook but everything else was fine. I would recommend staying here.
- Elaine (10/5): Overnight leisure stay - Stayed overnight for nightout with friends, very convenient for motorway and short taxi ride to city centre. Quiet and comfortable.
- Fino (10/5): Best budget accommodation in the city, bar none. - Clean, quiet, comfortable, near to amenities, good in-house facilities. Would most definitely stay there again as it is AT LEAST €20 cheaper than its nearest competitor. As this is student accommodation, repurposed during college holidays, availability is restricted to holiday season - Perfect!
